There’s a Christmas passage in Galatians that I want to share with you today: “When the fullness of the time had come, God sent forth His Son, born of a woman, born under the law, to redeem those who were under the law, that we might receive the adoption as sons” (Galatians 4:4-5).
That phrase, “when the fullness of the time had come,” tells me that Jesus:
· was not born too early, and
· He wasn’t born too late.
· He came right when He was supposed to, according to God’s plan.
And what was true of His first coming is true of His second. He will come at just the right moment. It may seem like this world is ripe and ready, but the Father knows exactly the right time to “send forth His Son” and make things right. I am eagerly awaiting that day, and I hope you are too.
