CANADIAN:

 It’s always interesting to read what people in other places are saying about us — or in this case about our World Cup team. There’s some strategic advice in the international media’s assessment of Canada’s loss to Switzerland (“For me if Davies is fit, he has to play”). And plenty of bulletin board material to motivate the team to prove ’em all wrong, too: “This is an average group.” Ouch.

Here are six things to know going into the weekend:

Carney Holds Call With Trump, Says CUSMA Wasn’t Discussed


U.S. President Donald Trump speaks with Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney at a working lunch with leaders of G7 and the Middle East in Evian-les-Bains, France on June 16, 2026.

“We didn’t discuss CUSMA,” Mark Carney told reporters on Thursday while recounting his conversation with American President Donald Trump the day before.

The two men discussed defense issues related to the upcoming NATO conference, Arctic security issues and the war with Iran, Carney said. But remarkably, just days before the CUSMA review deadline of July 1, Carney didn’t raise CUSMA or trade with Trump.


He told reporters that we do things differently in Canada, that there is a team approach including cabinet minister Dominic LeBlanc, chief negotiator Janice Charrette, Mark Wiseman, who is our ambassador in Washington, and the many members of his advisory council.

His words were nice filler but offered little insight into a question prompted by U.S. Ambassador Pete Hoekstra saying we are nowhere near a deal before July 1.


“We’re not anywhere close to announcing any type of a framework or an interim agreement,” Hoekstra told CTV earlier this week.

In an interview with Vassy Kapelos on Power Play, Hoekstra said Canada and the United States were close to a deal last October and then it fell apart.


There have not been any substantial talks since October 2025 and Carney didn’t seem bothered by that at all on Thursday. In fact, he was a little dismissive of the need for a deal with the Americans.

Mosques shouldn't be playing prayers over loudspeakers

Let's be clear. Criticizing a government decision is not a hate crime. Questioning a permit is not a hate crime. Saying, "I don't want religious messages blasted over my downtown," is not a hate crime.

Every Friday, a government-approved Islamic call to prayer is now being broadcast over downtown Regina. Some people have tried to dismiss concerns about this as nothing more than a complaint about noise.


They're wrong.

This isn't simply about noise pollution. It's about changing the character of our shared public spaces without public debate and placing an explicitly religious message at the centre of civic life.

A source tells Rebel News that this permit was approved by Regina police without ever being brought before Regina city council for public discussion.

That should concern every Canadian, regardless of their faith. This isn't like an innocuous church bell.


Church bells are tones. They function much like a clock tower, marking the passage of time or calling a congregation together without conveying a specific theological message to everyone within earshot.


The Adhan is something entirely different. It is a spoken religious proclamation: "Allah is the Greatest," "I bear witness that there is no god but Allah," "I bear witness that Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah."


This is not merely a sound in the background of city life. It is an explicit religious and ideological message being amplified over an entire downtown core.

For many Canadians, this raises a much larger question: should governments be facilitating the projection of a particular religion's message into our common civic spaces?


Canada has long embraced freedom of religion. Every Canadian should be free to worship, pray, and practice their faith in peace. But freedom of religion is not the same thing as religious domination.

No religion should expect the public square to conform to its practices, and no faith should enjoy special privileges that allow it to reshape our common spaces without public consent.


Many Canadians also see this as part of a broader trend of increasingly visible Islamic claims over public spaces, whether through amplified calls to prayer or organized prayers in streets and public squares rather than in houses of worship.


You may agree with those concerns, or you may not. But Canadians have every right to discuss them. At the same time, residents who object to this decision are now being met with police warnings about hate crimes and increased monitoring of online commentary.

The effect is chilling.


Many Canadians will reasonably wonder whether they can even voice their opposition without attracting police attention.Let's be clear. Criticizing a government decision is not a hate crime. Questioning a permit is not a hate crime. Saying, "I don't want religious messages blasted over my downtown," is not a hate crime.


Free citizens have the right to object to decisions made in their name, using public authority, and affecting their communities. That's not hate. That's democracy.

If government agencies can authorize this in Regina without public consultation, they can do it anywhere. Today it's Regina. Tomorrow it could be your city.

Supreme Court hands Trump two major immigration victories

Justice Samuel Alito wrote both opinions, also holding that TPS recipients cannot block revocation of their status

The Supreme Court handed President Donald Trump two major immigration victories on Thursday morning, both having to do with his administration's efforts to reduce asylum claims.


In the first case, Mullin v. Al Otro Lado, the court held that migrants who are turned away at the border before entering the United States are not entitled to apply for asylum. In the second case, Mullin v. Doe, the court ruled that Haitian and Syrian nationals in the United States with Temporary Protected Status (TPS) could not receive judicial relief postponing the revocation of their status while they challenge the Trump administration’s efforts to revoke it in court.


Together, the rulings mark a shift in the legal fight over who can seek protection in the United States, giving the Trump administration a new avenue to limit asylum claims at the border and more leeway to move forward with ending temporary protections for certain migrants already in the country. The rulings also remove key legal obstacles to the administration's broader push to reduce border crossings and accelerate removals.


Writing the opinion in Mullin v. Al Otro Lado, Justice Samuel Alito argued that a migrant who reaches the southern border but is turned away before entering has not, for legal purposes, "arrive[d] in" the United States. The holding is significant because current law provides that anyone who "arrives in the United States" has the right to apply for asylum.

Newsletter discusses Supreme Court Justice Glenn Joyal's judicial approach and backlash regarding Mark Carney's condo bailout program.


The appointment of Manitoba Court of King’s Bench Chief Justice Glenn Joyal to the Supreme Court of Canada this week was greeted with near-universal praise from conservative circles, who saw him as a bulwark against Canada’s increasingly activist top court.

 

Legal scholar Yuan Yi Zhu, a fierce critic of the current Supreme Court, called Joyal an “excellent jurist” with a “nuanced understanding of the judicial role” in a social media post.

 

Ben Woodfinden, a former communication director for Conservative Leader Pierre Poilievre, praised Joyal in the National Post as “a judge who thinks judges have become too powerful."


But even this unusually restrained Canadian judge has a track record of embracing identity politics in law, including levying a mandatory pronoun policy on Manitoba lawyers and seeking to make Canada a “tri-jural” system in which Indigenous practices are treated as co-equal with Canadian civil and criminal law.

 

In 2021, Joyal made Manitoba one of the first provinces requiring lawyers to employ pronouns while introducing themselves or a client to a court.

 

“At the beginning of any in-person or virtual proceeding when parties or counsel are introducing themselves, their client, a witness, or another person, they should provide the judge or justice with each person’s name, title (e.g. ‘Mr./Ms./Mx./Counsel Jones’) and the correct pronouns to be used in the proceeding,” reads a 2021 order signed by Joyal.

 

The order further states that if a lawyer refuses to specify the pronouns of themselves or a client, “they will be prompted by the court clerk to provide this information.”


In Joyal’s submitted questionnaire to the body tasked with reviewing new Supreme Court justices, he cited this measure as proof of his “considerable” efforts to “promote gender equality and a broader diversity of peoples in our justice system and in our courts.”

 

“Under my leadership and that of the other Manitoba chiefs, we were amongst the first courts to formalize a gender inclusive pronoun policy for all court proceedings and practice,” he wrote.

 

But it’s on the issue of Indigenous reconciliation where Joyal has been explicit in the view that the Canadian court system should accord special treatment to Indigenous people, and “make space” for Indigenous legal norms to overrule Canadian ones.

 

Starting in 2019, Joyal oversaw the introduction of Indigenous cultural practices into Manitoba courtrooms, including Métis jig dances and smudging, the burning of herbs to create a purifying smoke.


In a podcast interview last year with the Canadian Bar Association, Joyal acknowledged this as an “asymmetrical” policy, as no other Manitoba litigants had special dispensation to perform cultural rituals in the courtroom.

 

But he justified their existence as “unique and special and deserving of an asymmetrical approach when it comes to Indigenous law and traditions.”

 

In that same interview, Joyal said Canadian courts must “make space for Indigenous law and legal orders,” and not let “liberal neutrality” get in the way.

“If we are moving, as I believe we are and should, to a tri-jural system, it's not fair, and it’s not rational to try to compare so literally and so symmetrically the arguments about liberal neutrality with respect to what we owe our Indigenous community,” he said.

 

In a 2024 speech, Joyal told a meeting of First Nations leaders at Manitoba’s Building Safer Communities conference that courts were not acknowledging the “lived realities” of Indigenous people, and called for their powers to be increasingly devolved to First Nations communities.


"Many would argue the courts are not using the discretionary powers to apply a greater sensibility and understanding of the lived realities of Indigenous Manitobans, and I think that is a fair statement," he said.

 

In that same speech, Joyal would outline the province’s outsized rates of Indigenous incarceration, framing them not as a downstream effect of higher criminality, but as the result of system failure and a lack of trust between First Nations people and the legal system.

 

"The solutions really lie with a greater assumption of control and jurisdiction in your communities," he said, while urging courts to incorporate a "greater appreciation and use of Indigenous legal orders, legal practices in communities, and legal knowledge."

 

Joyal has been most praised in conservative circles for his oft-expressed view that Canadian judges are exceeding their mandate, and increasingly ruling on issues best left to legislatures.

 

This view reportedly got Joyal rejected as a potential Supreme Court pick in 2019, despite being recommended by then justice minister Jody-Wilson Raybould.


Sources told The Canadian Press at the time that prime minister Justin Trudeau objected to a speech given by Joyal in which the judge had decried “the 'constitutionalizing' of more and more political and social issues into fundamental rights.”

 

But in his 2025 podcast interview with the Canadian Bar Association, Joyal came out against the idea of judges remaining neutral or impartial when it came to Indigenous issues.

 

“If we’re seen as too passive, too remote, too detached, for example, on the issue of judicial reconciliation, we risk the very public confidence that those judges who want to retain their impartiality and judicial independence are trying to protect,” he said.

The pardons for 2020 operators are the trap federal immunity as bait while state-level accountability (especially California post-Supreme Court signals) remains live.


Why “The Game Is On” Now

The open move Trump is referencing is the acceleration of hybrid warfare: lawfare against political opponents, demographic replacement via borders, digital control grids (CBDC attempts, social credit via private platforms), and economic sabotage through inflation and regulatory strangulation.


They are making the move because the window is closing population awakening, technological decentralization (Starlink, crypto rails, Clarity Act), and military/intel realignment under Trump orbit make the old incremental approach unsustainable. On Wed. 24 June 2026, just as US Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard was retiring, she appeared on Fox News to confirm that former US President Barack Obama and senior officials around him, attempted a coup on the American people.

 

Obama and Fauci have been referred to the Department of Justice by the new US Director of National Intelligence Bill Pulte. Fauci for his multiple Crimes Against Humanity. A third piece of evidence circulating online: Barack’s student card from New York University indicated that Barack Obama was registered as a foreign student.

 

The U.S. Constitution states that to be president, one must be a natural-born citizen — born on American soil to two American citizen parents. Obama’s father was a Kenyan, a British subject under the colonial rule of the Crown. By British law, that automatically made Barack Obama a British subject at birth. By U.S. law, that disqualified him permanently from being a natural-born citizen.

 

The question: Was Obama truly eligible to serve as president — or was he the face of something far more calculated? A carefully crafted CIA operation globalist puppet, with a fake family built on lies.
