Leftists are desperate to do anything to stop him.

But Barack Obama made a fool out of himself when he launched this sick attack on Ron DeSantis.

Obama attacked Ron DeSantis as a humorless, colorless drone in an interview on “Pod Save America.”

In the interview, Obama claimed successful Democrat candidates had the ability to connect with voters on a personal level.

Obama cited Pennsylvania Senate Democrat hopeful John Fetterman as an example of the type of Democrat who could win over voters who didn’t agree with him on every issue because of his relatability.

“Those qualities don’t seem to always apply to successful Republican candidates,” Obama added.

Fetterman is a strange example for Obama to use considering the fraudulent nature of Fetterman’s presentation to voters and his near-fatal stroke.

Voters think Fetterman is some kind of blue-collar union worker because of his tattoos and the fact that Fetterman always wears his signature Carhartt hoodie when out in public.

But the reality is Fetterman is a man of privilege who lived off his parents’ trust fund until he was nearly 50 years old.

Fetterman’s parents provided him an allowance until his late 40s as Fetterman’s only income for a 15-year period was a $150 dollar a month salary he earned during his disastrous tenure as Mayor of Braddock.

It was also strange for Obama to say Fetterman could charm voters over dinner as an NBC reporter admitted Fetterman’s stroke left him unable to understand small talk.


Obama compared Fetterman to Ron DeSantis falsely claiming Fox News and other conservative media outlets brainwashed Americans into accepting idealized versions of Republican candidates claiming no one would have any fun hanging out with DeSantis.

“But I suspect, and I’ve talked to you guys about this before . . . again, it’s the degree to which conservative media just has a lock on how people are presented. The dominant narratives there are so powerful that people will vote for DeSantis even if I’m not sure that they would really have a great time,” Obama stated.

“He does not seem like a lot of fun,” co-host and former Obama speechwriter Jon Favreau shot back.

“Hanging out with that guy,” Obama responded.

Obama and his team successfully caricatured Mitt Romney as a heartless robber baron during the 2012 campaign running ads that essentially accused Romney of killing a man’s wife by giving her cancer.

Democrats are terrified of Ron DeSantis’ record of conservative achievement as Governor of Florida.

And Obama is signaling to Democrats that they should try and re-run the Romney playbook against DeSantis.

President Joe Biden suggested Tuesday his top priority is codifying abortion rights into federal law. But the White House says his top priority is combatting inflation.

So on Tuesday, Fox News correspondent Peter Doocy grilled White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre for clarity on the clear contradiction.

What did Biden say?

Biden promised that if Democrats retain control of Congress after the 2022 midterm elections, his number-one priority will be passing a federal law granting abortion rights.

"Here is the promise I make to you and the American people: The first bill that I will send to the Congress will be to codify Roe v. Wade," Biden said Tuesday.

What happened with Doocy and KJP?

So, which is Biden's top priority, Doocy asked, abortion or inflation?

"You just said [inflation is] 'his number-one economic priority.' We’ve heard the president say inflation is his top domestic priority, but now he’s saying, come next year, his first bill would be abortion-related," Doocy began.


"So is his number-one domestic priority abortion or is it inflation?" he asked.

Instead of answering the question, Jean-Pierre said Biden has made the economy his top priority over the last 19 months and that he is "working on the economy every day."

If that is true — that Biden is working on the economy "every day" — then Doocy followed up: Why are Bloomberg economists now predicting there is a 100% chance the U.S. economy plunges into a recession when Biden claimed the economy is "strong as hell" just days ago?

The press secretary, however, claimed a recession is not coming "because of the work that this president has done."

"We are seeing an economy that is resilient. We are seeing an economy that is going into a transition with more stable growth, more steady growth. And that is because of the work that this president has done," she claimed without citing any specific work.

A former Trump official said that an economic collapse in America “by design” is looming.

Monica Crowley, the Assistant Secretary for Public Affairs for the U.S. Department of the Treasury under President Trump, made the statement in an interview on SiriusXM’s Breitbart News Daily with host Alex Marlow.

Crowley opined that the Democrats in Washington are manufacturing a catastrophic economic outcome.

“We are already in a technical recession” after “two straight quarters of negative growth,” she said.

Crowley believes that the Democrats are “simply buying time… They know things are going to get much worse.”

She hammered home her opinion that any potential economic disaster will be “intentional because they need that period of time of really bad economic collapse in order to slam through their socialist agenda.”

It is “about imploding the U.S. economy,” she added. If an economic collapse were to take place as Crowley suggested, “they [Democrats] can rebuild [society] in this collectivist neo-Marxist vision.”

Crowley rejected the idea of “giving them the benefit of the doubt.”

“This is all by design. It’s all going according to plan.”

Truss Resigns as UK Prime Minister After Turmoil Obliterated Her Authority

British Prime Minister Liz Truss resigned Thursday — bowing to the inevitable after a tumultuous, short-lived term in which her policies triggered turmoil in financial markets and a rebellion in her party that obliterated her authority.

Making a hastily scheduled statement outside her 10 Downing Street office, Truss acknowledged that “I cannot deliver the mandate on which I was elected by the Conservative Party.”

Hers is the third resignation by a Conservative prime minister in as many years and leaves a divided party seeking a leader who can unify its warring factions. Truss, who said she will remain in office for a few more days while that process unfolds, has been prime minister for just 45 days.


Just a day earlier she had vowed to stay in power, saying she was “a fighter and not a quitter.” But Truss couldn't hold on any longer after a senior minister quit her government with a barrage of criticism and a vote in the House of Commons descended into chaos and acrimony just days after she was forced to abandon many of her economic policies.

A growing number of lawmakers had called for Truss to resign after weeks of turmoil sparked by her economic plan. When it was unveiled by the government last month, the plan triggered financial turmoil and a political crisis that has seen the replacement of Truss’ Treasury chief, multiple policy U-turns and a breakdown of discipline in the governing Conservative Party.

Earlier, Conservative lawmaker Simon Hoare said the government was in disarray.

“Nobody has a route plan. It’s all sort of hand-to-hand fighting on a day-to-day basis,” he told the BBC on Thursday.
