Joe Biden is accused of being weak and soft on Russia, which has led to death and destruction as Putin decided to wage an out-all war into Ukraine.
One dark secret from the Bidens’ past has surfaced and caught the eye of many Americans. Hunter Biden once received a staggering $3.5 million wire transfer from Elena Baturina, the richest woman in Russia and the widow of Yury Luzhkov who was the former mayor of Moscow.
Why was this wire sent? Baturina disclosed that they have “a financial relationship,” but declined to delve deeper into why the wire transfer was made. The payment to Biden’s investment firm was made in early 2014.
Fast-forwarding to 2022, there is widespread speculation that the Bidens have been doing favors for the Russians all along.
Before Biden took office, Republicans and Democrats agreed that Russia posed a real threat to our nation. Taking action, President Trump signed legislation into law following a bipartisan effort of the House Armed Services Committee to recommend imposing sanctions on Russia.
In 2019, Congress passed a measure to impose sanctions on a Russian company that is building the Nord Stream 2 pipeline to deliver natural gas from Russia to Germany.
Trump signed the sanctions into law because the pipeline “really makes Germany a hostage of Russia if things ever happened that were bad.” Trump wanted to contain the Russians.
The pipeline was widely viewed as a way to empower Russia to overrun Europe. Polish President Andrzej Duda told Trump that he fiercely opposed Nord Stream 2.
The head of Naftogaz, a Ukrainian energy company, called the pipeline Russia’s most “dangerous geopolitical project.”
“Maintaining Trump’s sanctions should have been an easy call for President Biden,” Governor Kristi Noem said.
But what did Biden do? The Biden administration waived those bipartisan sanctions and allowed Nord Stream to move forward.
Some people believe that Joe Biden simply reversed an important accomplishment of the Trump administration for spite.
“A more sinister theory suggests that because his son, Hunter Biden, served on the board of Burisma, a Ukrainian gas company, President Biden had, at a minimum, the appearance of a conflict of interest,” Governor Noem wrote in an opinion piece on Fox News.
“To make matters worse, Hunter ‘received a $3.5 million wire transfer from Elena Baturina, the wife of the former mayor of Moscow,’ according to a Congressional report,” she concluded. [Streetwise]

“Putin’s Ukraine invasion is the first time in 80 years that a great power has moved to conquer a sovereign nation. It is without justification, without provocation, and without honor,” said Romney.
“Putin’s impunity predictably follows our tepid response to his previous horrors in Georgia and Crimea, our naive efforts at a one-sided ‘reset,’ and the shortsightedness of ‘America First,’” he continued.

The New York Times' chief White House correspondent said Wednesday on MSNBC it was "a good question" of why RussianPresident Vladimir Putin engaged in the military operation in Ukraine under the Biden administration, and not under Trump.
Former President Trump said Tuesday that Putin's aggressive actions in Ukraine would never have happened while he was president.
"I know [Putin] very well. Very, very well [and] … this never would have happened … had I been in office, not even thinkable," Trump said.
New York Times reporter Peter Baker said, "[Trump] said yesterday ‘this wouldn’t have happened when I was president,’ or somehow he was too tough … It is a good question whether President Trump was volatile enough that President Putin didn’t know how he would react to, you know, something more aggressive in Ukraine."
Trump went on to blast Biden for what he believed was a weak response, calling it "very sad."
"But here’s a guy (Putin) that says … ‘I’m gonna declare a big portion of Ukraine independent … and we’re gonna go out and we’re gonna go in and we’re gonna help keep peace.’ You gotta say that’s pretty savvy. Ukraine President Signs Request for Immediate Membership in European Union:
An embattled Ukraine moved to solidify its bond with the West Monday by signing an application to join the European Union, while the first round of Ukraine-Russia talks aimed at ending the fighting concluded with no immediate agreements.
Ukraine President Volodymyr Zelenskyy posted photos of himself signing the EU application, a largely symbolic move that could take years to become reality and is unlikely to sit well with Russian President Vladimir Putin, who has long accused the West of trying to pull Ukraine into its orbit.
Russian and Ukrainian officials held their meeting on Day Five of the war under the shadow of Putin’s nuclear threats, and with Moscow’s invasion of Ukraine running into unexpectedly fierce resistance.
Early Monday night, a top adviser to Ukraine’s president said that the first round of talks with Russia had ended and that both delegations had returned home for consultations in their capitals.
Mykhailo Podolyak gave few details except to say that the talks, held near the Ukraine-Belarus border, were focused on a possible cease-fire and that a second round could take place “in the near future.”
At this stage, Ukraine is many years away from reaching the standards for achieving EU membership, and the 27-nation bloc is expansion-weary and unlikely to take on new members any time soon.
Also, any addition to the EU must be approved unanimously, and some member states have complicated approval procedures.
Overall, the consensus has been that Ukraine's deep-seated corruption could make it hard for the country to win EU acceptance. Still, in an interview with Euronews on Sunday, EU Commission chief Ursula von der Leyen said, “We want them in the European Union.”
Meanwhile, outgunned Ukrainian forces managed to slow the Russian advance, and Western sanctions began to squeeze the Russian economy, but the Kremlin again raised the specter of nuclear war, reporting that its land, air and sea nuclear forces were on high alert following Putin’s weekend order.
Stepping up his rhetoric, Putin denounced the U.S. and its allies as an “empire of lies.”
A tense calm reigned in Kyiv, where people lined up to buy food, water and pet food after two nights trapped inside by a strict curfew, but social media video from Ukraine’s second-largest city, Kharkiv, showed residential areas being shelled, with apartment buildings shaken by repeated, powerful blasts. Authorities in Kharkiv said at least seven people had been killed and dozens injured. They warned that casualties could be far higher.
“They wanted to have a blitzkrieg, but it failed, so they act this way,” said 83-year-old Valentin Petrovich, using just his first name and his Russian-style middle name because of fear for his safety. He described watching the shelling from his downtown apartment.
The Russian military has denied targeting residential areas despite abundant evidence of shelling of homes, schools and hospitals.
Meanwhile, as Russia’s Central Bank scrambled to shore up the tanking ruble, Putin signed a decree governing foreign currency, in a bid to stabilize the ruble.
But that did little to calm Russian fears. In Moscow, people lined up to withdraw cash as the sanctions threatened their livelihoods and savings.
Across Ukraine, meanwhile, terrified families huddled overnight in shelters, basements or corridors.

Hillary Clinton accuses Trump and Republicans of ‘giving aid and comfort’ to Putin:
As Vladimir Putin ordered a full-scale invasion of Ukraine, under President Joe Biden’s watch, Democratic pundits and high-level Democrats like former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton used the moment to push conspiracy theories about their favorite former president, Donald Trump.
According to Fox News, Clinton had the audacity to claim that somehow Trump, and Republicans, had committed “treason” for past comments he made about Putin — comments that were clearly taken out of context and used to further the left’s Russia collusion hoax.
The comments came during an interview with Mika Brzezinski on MSNBC’s Morning Joe.
“We have to also make sure that within our own country we are calling out those people who are giving aid and comfort to Vladimir Putin, who are talking about what a genius he is, what a smart move it is, who are unfortunately being broadcast by Russian media, not only inside Russia, but in Europe to demonstrate the division within our own country,” Clinton said.
She added: “This is heartbreaking, but it’s also dangerous, and I think it’s time for what’s left of the Republican Party that has any common sense not just to say, OK, go help defend Ukraine against Putin, but to stand against those people in politics and government, in the media and elsewhere in our own country who are literally giving aid and comfort to an enemy of freedom and democracy.”
The two-time failed presidential candidate went on to claim that words from Republicans and Trump, regarding Russia, only serve to “undermine” American democracy.
Unbelievably, she accused Republicans of losing their “spine” with regard to America’s approach to Putin ever since Trump’s presidency, when in fact, Putin has literally only invaded Russia while Democrats were in office, an important fact that she must have accidentally omitted.
Needless to say, the exaggerated and outright false narrative was used to distract from recent bombshell allegations contained in a Feb. 11 court filing by Special Counsel John Durham, who claimed that a firm working for the 2016 Clinton campaign had reportedly set up a cyber-spying operation against Trump at the time.
Clinton’s lies also come as the November midterms draw near, when Democrats are expected to take massive losses across the board. It seems that they’re now resorting to lies and disinformation in a hail-Mary attempt to do anything they can to muddy the Republican Party and Trump’s name.
