As many will know, Western University implemented a “booster mandate” this year just before the start of classes which required all students to provide proof of receipt of a third dose of the COVID vaccines. This was on top of the pre-existing requirement for students to have received the original two doses. Western was the only university to impose such a mandate for a third shot. Fortunately for Western students, public pressure in response to the booster mandate was intense and Western partially backed down, delaying the implementation of the third shot requirement to January 2023. Western is also facing an ongoing lawsuit over its underlying requirement to show proof of receipt of the original shots on the basis of privacy violations. Sadly, like most universities in the COVID era, Western seems to prioritize the appearance of a strict adherence to wokeism over adherence to the law or respecting the rights of its students. Repeating the religious discrimination that it and many other universities engaged in last year, Western has denied large numbers of requests for human rights accommodation from Christian students regarding COVID vaccine requirements. Some of these denials involve students who have not received any of the shots, consistent with their sincere Christian beliefs, while some involve students coerced into receiving the first two doses of the COVID vaccines last year but refuse to violate their consciences further by receiving any more shots. It is unknown how many Christian Western students have requested accommodation regarding the vaccine mandate on the basis of their religious beliefs and been denied by Western. However, LCC Chief Litigator James Kitchen has reviewed several of the denials and they all take the form of the same, brief, anonymous email which contains no reasons for the denial. This is in utter defiance of Western’s obligation at law to not discriminate against Christian students by providing reasonable accommodation or showing, with facts and reasons, why it cannot provide accommodation. In late August 2022, Mr. Kitchen secured a reversal of one these exemption denials after issuing a demand letter to Western. However, after Mr. Kitchen issued two further demand letters to Western on behalf of other Christian students denied accommodation, Western hired law firm Hicks Morley. Through its lawyers, Western has refused to reverse these denials. The reason? According to Western’s lawyers, these students’ Christian beliefs must not be uniquely personal to them because they are shared by other students. Apparently, according to Western, when Christian students share similar Christian beliefs those beliefs are no longer protected by the law. As if this wasn’t bad enough, some will recall that the most-cited excuse employed by universities for denying accommodation last year was that students’ Christian beliefs were too “personal and singular”, and therefore somehow not protected at law. These arbitrary refusals to respect the rights of Christian students, and the use of contradictory excuses to support them, reveal the depth of the contempt that Western harbours for its human rights obligation and for students who cannot take the shots due to their Christian beliefs. As has become increasingly clear over the last year, vaccine mandates and refusals to accommodate Christians are about political science, not medical science, and represent a rejection of the rule of law. Where does that leave all these Western students denied their rights and facing expulsion by the University for “not complying”? Report: Trump Wants 2 Seized Folders Excluded from DOJ Probe:
Former President Donald Trump wants two folders seized during the FBI raid of his Mar-a-Lago estate in Florida withheld from the Department of Justice's criminal probe regarding his handling of documents, The Guardian reported Friday.
Citing filings in the court case, The Guardian said the former president wants "two red folders" containing correspondence with the National Archives and Records Administration and three "signing sheets" excluded from material turned over to the criminal investigation.

Raymond J. Dearie, the federal judge serving as special master in the case, said in an order Friday that some 30 documents are to be turned over to the "case team" by Oct. 10 because there is no assertion by Trump of either executive or attorney-client privilege.
He also ordered that "Filter B" materials be returned to Trump by Oct. 10, but the order did not say how many documents that entailed.
Remaining "Filter A and Filter C" materials will be reviewed by Dearie and a report made as to whether they contain privileged documents, the order said.
The next telephone status conference on the case is scheduled for Oct. 18. [News Max]

Following a media backlash, transgender lobby activists did whatever it took, to ensure that Caroline was punished. One such, was Stephanie Hayden who began targeting Caroline over social media in a relentless campaign of abuse, that included attacking her Catholic faith, making several threats and attempting to get her de-platformed from the media.
Caroline’s entire family has been harassed with prank phone calls, targeted with exposure to disgusting explicit materials, and stalked on social media.
Did it make any difference that Caroline repeatedly asked for protection from the police? NONE! Sadly, she is not a transgender activist, she's only a Christian mother trying to stand up for her values and protect her family.
Having monitored Caroline ever since, yet despite the lack of any notable evidence, the Police decided to raid the house, ruthlessly seizing all of her and her family’s devices, including the homework iPad that Caroline’s 10-year-old daughter with autism uses for her homeschooling.

We’ve seen recently how the establishment is clamping down viciously on our fundamental freedoms, particularly on our right to our own thoughts and beliefs, which are the core of who we are.

We’ve seen it with Maureen Martin, who was fired from her job for expressing her religious beliefs. With the left-wing media’s attacks failing to damage Trump or DeSantis, they launched a plot to start a feud between them over the 2024 nomination.
On Wednesday, Trump delivered the keynote address at the Hispanic Leadership Conference in Miami.
With Hurricane Ian in the national news, the Fake News Media was hoping Trump would say something to help fuel their narrative about the feud with DeSantis.
Trump spent most of his speech ripping Joe Biden for turning America into a “land of recession and probably depression” and for weaponizing the Justice Department to go after him and his supporters.
“They’re targeting me because they want to silence me, silence you, and silence our amazing ‘Make America Great Again’ movement,” Trump said.
Donald Trump also discussed Hurricane Ian and the damage it inflicted on the Sunshine State.
The former President offered “boundless sympathy and love” for everyone affected by the storm and thanked all the first responders helping in the recovery efforts.
“We also thank God for the Coast Guard, and the National Guard, and law enforcement always, and first responders and countless others who have stepped forward in this time of need,” Trump said.
Trump thanked Ron DeSantis for his response to Hurricane Ian and praised him for a job well done, saying “God bless our Governor.”
“And God bless our Governor and all of the Mayors,” Trump continued. “They’re all working so hard, and they’re heroes, and we’re going to get through this in Florida.”
The left-wing media has been trying to start a feud between Donald Trump and Ron DeSantis for several months.
Both Trump and DeSantis have repeatedly denied the allegations.

Iranians in Canada:
#1. Canadians have come out in droves to protest the brutal Iranian regime after the death of 22-year-old Maha Amini while in police custody.
According to police estimates, over 50,000 people turned out for a protest in Richmond Hill on Saturday.

During a news conference in Fort Myers, Joe Biden promised DeSantis that the federal government would support the recovery efforts in Florida.
But then Joe Biden put jaws on the floor when he showered Ron DeSantis with praise for the “remarkable” response to Ian.
“What the Governor’s done is pretty remarkable,” Biden said when asked about DeSantis’ response to the storm. “I think he’s done a good job.”
Biden acknowledged the fact that he and DeSantis are political enemies, but said he was putting that aside during this time of crisis.
“We have very different political philosophies . . . but we worked hand in glove,” Biden said. “On things related to dealing with this crisis, we’ve been completely in lockstep,” he continued, before adding that “there’s been no difference.”
DeSantis thanked Joe Biden for immediately signing his disaster declaration and “basically setting off the massive mobilization” currently underway in the state.
But DeSantis did manage to get one small jab in at the Left when he introduced Joe Biden.
“We are cutting through bureaucracy,”DeSantis said. “We are cutting through red tape,” he continued, before adding “and that’s from local government, state government, all the way up to the President.”

Trump Oil Policies Would Produce 2-3Million More Barrels, Outpacing OPEC Cut:
A new study indicates that President Joe Biden's energy policies have cost the U.S. nearly $100 billion in annual output, leaving millions more barrels that could have been produced.
The Committee to Unleash Prosperity — a group founded by economists Steve Forbes, Art Laffer, and Stephen Moore — discovered a trend while reviewing oil and gas production under the previous two administrations.
Between 2 and 3 million more barrels of oil would be produced each day if former President Donald Trump had a second term, with another 20 to 25 billion cubic feet of natural gas produced as well, according to the report.
In addition, continuing Trump's policies would make domestic oil production far outpace the current OPEC cut, with researchers claiming that not a single barrel of oil would need to be sold from the U.S. strategic reserves.
"After many humiliating months of President Biden begging Saudi Arabia and other OPEC countries to please increase their oil production, OPEC countries have decided to do just the opposite: they are cutting back on supply by two million barrels a day to drive UP the price of oil," Moore stated.
"These high prices at the pump are in no small part attributable to Biden's hostility to American oil and gas production," he concluded, adding that the radical environmentalist movement has led to substantial divestment in oil and gas development.
The analysis comes amid Biden's indication on Wednesday he would continue to release oil from the nation's reserves after OPEC revealed it would slash production by nearly 2 million barrels per day, Reuters reported.
