Amir's Bible Bites Devotionals:

💥Will Jesus Return as a Man of War?

"At the second coming, when Jesus returns, many people are going to suffer from judgment. Remember, He’s not coming as a loving, turn-the-other-cheek, mild Savior on a donkey crying over the confused Jerusalem. No, Jesus will return as a man of war. That’s one thing many Christians have a hard time with, because when Jesus came the first time it was not to condemn, but to save. But the second coming is completely different.

This is the “full disclosure” of the Biblical Jesus. He is the King of all kings, He is the Lord above all lords, and, someday, every knee will bow and every tongue will confess that He is the Lord! [Amir Tafari]

Andrew and Chris Cuomo

of colluding to smear Reporter who vocally criticized nursing home scandal:

💥💥Former Democratic New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo along with his brother former CNN anchor Chris Cuomo along with the governor’s top aide allegedly plotted to discredit a journalist who criticized the governor over the nursing home scandal.

According to a report by The Daily Caller, the brothers and the governor’s top aide were attempting to implement negative repercussions for the Fox News meteorologist and host for being a vocal critic of his handling of the COVID-19 pandemic.

During the height of the scandal, Janice Dean became a critic of the New York governor and his deception of how the pandemic was being handled in nursing homes after both her parents died in elder-care facilities in 2020.

The news broke. in May of 2020, and was reported by The Daily Caller, that the New York governor had undercounted the number of COVID-related deaths, causing shock and alarm, especially in those who had been kept from their parents due to the pandemic.

The number of COVID-related deaths were undercounted by as much as 50 percent in some cases, attempting to indicate that the elderly were dying in hospitals instead of at the elder facilities.

DeRosa and other close aides of Cuomo planned to discredit Dean as a ‘right-wing commentator’ for being a vocal critic of the governor’s pandemic policies,” the Daily Caller reported. “DeRosa crafted strategies to attempt to silence Dean’s criticisms, sources familiar with the matter told [CNBC].”

Along with several of his closest political allies, the governor attended strategy sessions where Dean was mentioned and targeted as a way of protecting the Cuomo administration for its response to the pandemic.

Former CNN anchor Chris Cuomo was part of the program by allegedly being asked to gather information about Dean’s political affiliations, though it’s unclear whether Cuomo sought information about the Fox News employee.

“Rich Azzopardi, a spokesperson for the former governor, told the outlet that he had no knowledge of Chris seeking information on Dean,” the Daily Caller reported. [Conservative Institute]

Putin Is Taking a Huge Gamble:

💥💥💥In 2002, at the height of the unipolar moment, as the United States prepared to invade Iraq, some of the country’s most prominent international-relations professors tried to solve a puzzle: Why were other major powers in the world that opposed U.S. foreign policy not doing anything about the invasion? Russia, China, France, and Germany made their views known at the United Nations, but they would not back Saddam Hussein. Nor were they building up their militaries or changing their alliances to oppose the United States.

When states push back against other states that they see as threatening or powerful, political scientists call this behavior “balancing.” In a collection of essays titled America Unrivaled, some of these professors suggested that this basic act of geopolitical competition had been missing since the collapse of the Soviet Union because the United States was too far ahead of everyone else. Others argue that the United States was not threatening to other major powers, or that it had constructed a liberal order that was open to all.

Today, however, balancing is most certainly back—and is popularly described with the rather imperfect and amorphous phrase great-power competition. Russia annexed Crimea in 2014, intervened militarily in Syria, and interfered in the U.S.’s 2016 presidential election. Meanwhile, China has built artificial islands in the South China Sea and made rapid advances in military technologies, sometimes surpassing even the United States. Russia and China began to balance as they became stronger but also because Vladimir Putin and Xi Jinping worried that if Western liberalism succeeded globally, it could pose an existential threat to their regimes. Even America’s allies are balancing. Turkey’s Recep Tayyip Erdoğan uses military power and coercive diplomacy freely, cooperating with Russia when it suits. Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates no longer defer automatically to the United States and use military power even when Washington prefers, they not do so, as Riyadh has done in Yemen.

The decision by other countries to project military power in ways designed to frustrate U.S. actions is a transformative change in America’s external environment. After the Cold War, the United States could, and sometimes did, treat the geopolitical preferences of rival or even friendly powers as an afterthought. It can do so no longer. In fact, Russia’s assembly of a 175,000-person-strong invasion force along its border with Ukraine suggests that we are about to enter a dangerous new phase of international rivalry. Meteorologist responds with data after Joe Biden seemingly blames climate change for deadly tornados:

💥💥Meteorologist Joe Bastardi fired back at President Joe Biden for seemingly blaming the devastating tornado outbreak that struck multiple states last week on climate change.

What did Biden say?

When a reporter asked Biden on Saturday whether climate change contributed to the deadly tornados, Biden pointed to climate change allegedly increasing the intensity of storms.

"All I know is that the intensity of the weather across the board has some impacts as a consequence of the warming of the planet and climate change," Biden said. "The specific impact on these specific storms, I can't say at this point."

"I'm going to be asking the EPA and others to take a look at that," Biden continued. "But the fact is that we all know everything is more intense when the climate is warming. Everything. And obviously, it has some impact here, but I can't give you a quantitative read on that."

Federal Emergency Management Agency Administrator Deanne Criswell was more direct. During an interview on CNN's "State of the Union," Criswell said the extreme weather "is going to be our new normal." [The Blaze]

Ottawa earmarks $40 billion for First Nations child welfare compensation in economic statement

💥The federal government will earmark $40-billion in its fall economic statement to compensate First Nations children and families for the failures of Canada’s child welfare system and to pay for long-term reform, in the hopes of settling the matter out of court before the end of the year.

The $40-billion pledge is a result of a multi-year court battle over a pair of findings by the Canadian Human Rights Tribunal. The two rulings determined that the federal government had discriminated against Indigenous children by unnecessarily taking them into foster care, and by subjecting them to unfair delays in access to public services. You’ve got to read this new book about the Ethics of Forced Vaccines:

Title; The Ethical Case Against Covid-19 Vaccine Mandates

https://www.mychoicebook.ca/

💥💥💥In the fall of 2021, Dr. Julie Ponesse saw her academic career of 20 years fall apart after she refused to comply with a Canadian university's COVID vaccine mandate.

This is her account of the battle and its aftermath, written with passion and intelligence. But Dr. Ponesse's story travels beyond the personal and examines the ethical and philosophical dimensions of our pandemic response.

If there is anyone out there who feels alone in the struggle to preserve personal choice and freedom, this book offers some very human advice on how to move forward and makes it clear that your voice deserves to be heard.

Julie Ponesse has a PhD in Philosophy (Western, 2008) with areas of specialization in ethics and ancient philosophy. She has a Masters in Bioethics from the Joint Centre for Bioethics at the University of Toronto and a Diploma in Ethics from the Kennedy Institute of Ethics at Georgetown University. She has published in the areas of ancient philosophy, ethical theory, and applied ethics, and has taught at universities in Canada and the US for 20 years. [Dr. Julie Ponesse]

It’s Time to Build Our Own Parallel Economy:

💥💥💥The People are learning what the real problem in our society is: the globalist oligarchs. Not any one politician. Not this political party or that one. The entire system is corrupt. Banks, tech companies, media companies, schools, government, and on and on. We must exit this broken and failing system and start building a new one immediately. We are not revolutionaries. We are not violent. We are reformers. We are builders. When we up and leave the existing system in favor of our own the existing system will crumble without us lifting a finger.

The problem with the American Populist movement, on both the left and the right, is that it is centralized.

Centralized movements give the enemy a central attack vector to target and overcome. One man, who took on the weight of the world, became the sole focus of both the enemy and of the American Populist movement itself for over five years.
