CANADIAN:

No Recognition Without Real Change:

One phone call triggered a major shift in Canadian foreign policy. Now it’s your turn to make a call that counts.

Over the past few months, Prime Minister Carney laid out foundational principles for a future Palestinian state, including: the return of all Israeli hostages, removal of Hamas and, in his own words, a “Zionist Palestinian state,” recognizing Israel’s right to live in safety.

Now, by announcing the intention to recognize Palestinian statehood in September – absent real change – the Government is putting the cart before the horse.

According to the Prime Minister, “this intention is predicated” on commitments to democratic reform and demilitarization, based on a single phone call this week with Mahmoud Abbas. The 89-year-old Palestinian Authority President, in the 20th year of his 4-year term, is notorious for his corruption, Holocaust denial, and for paying terrorists to murder Jews.  

 

Extending recognition without real change on the ground is a recipe for another failed Palestinian pseudo-state controlled by terrorists. It will only embolden Hamas and condemn Palestinians and Israelis—including the hostages and their families—to continued violence and suffering. 

That’s why we’re asking you to Call your MP.

Premier Doug Ford's government has seized direct control of five major Ontario school boards:

  • · Thames Valley District School Board (TVDSB)

  • · Toronto District School Board (TDSB)

  • · Toronto Catholic District School Board (TCDSB)

  • · Ottawa-Carleton District School Board (OCDSB)

  • · Dufferin-Peel Catholic District School Board (DPCDSB)


These boards can no longer be held accountable at the local level by the very families and citizens they serve.

The boards are now run by government-appointed supervisors, who are now making all the critical decisions regarding your child’s school without ANY public accountability.

With most school boards having trustees who eagerly listen and support the radical anti-family pro-LGBT activists’ agenda, some individuals may see the provincial government taking over school boards as “a good thing” for a variety of reasons.


However, here’s why it’s not “a good thing”.

Trustees are the most local representatives of your neighbourhood’s public schools. This means they are more aware of what is occurring within your child’s school than your Member of Provincial Parliament (MPP).

This also means they are politically closer to you and me since they are our representatives at the lowest possible political level (i.e., municipal politics).

 

Meaning when we speak up, they are most likely to hear YOUR VOICE FIRST.

With Premier Doug Ford's recent moves to seize schools, his administration is actively denying Ontario parents their voice.


And here’s the worst part:

More takeovers could be coming.

With Ontario’s Bill 33 (ironically titled “Supporting Children and Students Act”), Minister Calandra is charging ahead with an overall plan to permanently eliminate all elected trustees, without public debate or input.

Ontario would join other provinces, like Nova Scotia and Quebec, that place provincial-level politicians in direct control of YOUR local public schools.

 

Trustees exist for one reason:

To reflect the will of the families in their local community.

Their job is to ensure kids learn what matters most, while making schools accountable to local priorities.

That's why you saw real results at Dufferin-Peel’s public Catholic schools.


When outside activists pressured for Pride flags on Catholic schools, the voices of regular people, parents, and local voices delivered directly to trustees, tipping the scale in favour of families and parental rights.

Trustees listened to your voice, made the right call for their communities, and decided not to fly the socially controversial “Pride Flag” outside the schools.

 

When boards answer to us, we hold them directly accountable for their actions!

But only when the boards answer directly to us are we successful.

If Minister Calandra and Premier Ford get their way, your community’s public schools would be directly controlled by the Ministry of Education.

 

The very same Ministry of Education that continues to refuse to listen to parents' and citizens' demands to scrap the toxic, radical, and still highly controversial Kathleen Wynne/Doug Ford sex-ed curriculum!

With elected local trustees gone for good, all educational policies and procedures will come exclusively from Queen's Park.


Your voice will be locked out, all while radical sex-crazed ideology will never have to fear facing local pushback ever again.

You, I, and countless parents will never again have any meaningful say in our tax-funded schools.

That's why we must defend the only forum where regular, hardworking parents have democratic power in education:

Carney insists that recognition will depend on democratic reforms in the Palestinian Authority and a Hamas-free government. But such conditions are laughably unrealistic. Mahmoud Abbas is in the 20th year of his four-year term, and Hamas hasn’t held an election since it won one in 2006.

TRUMP:

Trump Hikes Tariffs on Canada to 35 Percent:

The White House cited Canada’s ‘failure’ to curb fentanyl trafficking and its continued use of counter-tariffs as reasons for the increase.

 

The announcement on July 31 came ahead of the Aug. 1 deadline for countries to reach new trade deals with the United States. Trump had earlier warned Prime Minister Mark Carney of his intention to raise tariffs on Canada, citing as concerns Canada’s supply management for eggs and dairy, fentanyl trafficking, as well as Ottawa’s counter-tariffs on the United States.

 

Unlike Canada, Mexico was spared an increase in tariffs, with Trump saying on July 31 that he won’t raise tariffs on Mexican goods for 90 days. His announcement came after he spoke on the phone with Mexican President Claudia Sheinbaum.

Trump had said earlier on July 31 that it would be “very hard” to reach a trade agreement with Ottawa after Carney said his country would recognize a Palestinian state. However, Trump said later the same day that Canada’s decision on Palestine is “not a deal breaker.”

 

In a statement issued in the early hours of Aug. 1, Carney said Canada is “disappointment” by Washington’s latest announcement, but noted that since tariffs don’t apply to products covered under the USMCA, “the U.S. average tariff rate on Canadian goods remains one of its lowest for all of its trading partners.”

Judy Note: On Tues. 29 July I ran a story on severely abused and raped Ohio Foster Teen Kaitlynn Hunter (see summary of her story below), who is presently in hiding from what was believed to be a Child Sex Trafficking ring run by the CIA. She is a prime witness to the Ohio Government severe abuse of Ohio Foster Children, hundreds of whom have disappeared.


A few days later on Thurs. 31 July I was excited to read an entry from Mr. Pool on Telegram that said, “Ohio CPS Scandal explodes. Arrests sealed. An internal email dump shows Ohio foster placements funneled to private care networks were fronts for pedo logistics. Twelve caseworkers in federal custody, names sealed until the EBS drops.”


I’m assuming, or at least hoping, Pool was revealing that Trump’s Global Military Alliance was making arrests on the very corrupt Ohio government officials, law enforcement and Child Protective Services which was believed working with the CIA to mind control Ohio Foster Children in order to feed them into a very lucrative International Child Sex Trafficking Ring out of the Vatican.


It was Pedophile President Clinton who gave CPS agents incentives to kidnap for foster care ($4,000 to $6,000 per child) by passing the Safe Families Act.


Also on Thurs. I was pleased to find an entry from Ghost of Ezra Livestream that predicted, “Vice Presidential Resignation for family reasons.”


I have been very frustrated over the non-response of US VP Vance to a host of referrals to him on Kaitlynn and other abused Ohio Foster Care children. After all, he served as Ohio Senator during those six years Kaitlyn has been abused in foster care and must have known about, or at least should have looked into the hundreds of Ohio Foster Care teens who disappeared, likely into the Child Sex Trafficking Ring run by the CIA and Vatican in Ohio.
