I address this to those who have read Don's blog from its earliest months or its latest, inviting you to add your email address to my "Lunch" list of friends.
I call it a "Lunch" list because that's how Don and I met, over lunch after Church, with some other friends from different denominations. Up to a dozen of us would meet on Sundays and chat about everything and sometimes nothing much at all, because the world was much simpler then.
Later came conversation like, "Did you hear about this?" Or, "Did you know that?". And such questions still guide me to this day. I don't always talk about the most important news if I think others already heard it. I don't always express an opinion if I think someone else will say it. I just like to bring up what's interesting to hear about. So you might think my approach to sharing information is soft compared to Don's desire to get into a subject in depth.
As a copywriter trained to edit and present ideas in small packages I would rather edit a long story. As a man with a curious mind who likes to think outside the box I would rather take hours to research a topic and find related reports others could miss. And most of all, I pray for God's timing. Sometimes Don and I disagree about the timing to speak about a subject but we always agree about the sequencing of future events. Thus we have co-authored a booklet and video with more to come.
If you would like to receive maybe half a dozen emails from me each day, I don't expect you to read them all. Most of my friends ignore some of them, even Don. For the past ten years or so I have over 80 on my daily list who have told me to keep sending the emails even though they can't read them all. Only a handful have asked to be removed because they just don't have the time for them. Just as many send me emails I can pass on to others.
FYI - My interest is discerning God's Word in news, prophecy, history, science, and sometimes the lighter side as we used to laugh around the lunch table.
While Don will continue to give you his popular Rumours, I look forward to digging into whatever else comes my way, one email at a time until the Lord calls or you do.

The Military begins Screening Troops for Gender Dysphoria in Annual Exams:
President Trump's administration implements new measures to identify and separate transgender service members from the U.S. military forces.
According to The Hill, the Defense Department has issued a directive requiring gender dysphoria screening during annual physical examinations as part of its broader initiative to remove transgender individuals from military service.
The Pentagon's acting head of personnel and readiness signed a memorandum instructing senior officials to begin identifying affected service members through the Defense Department's Periodic Health Assessment. This new screening process represents a significant shift in military health evaluation procedures, directly targeting service members who may experience gender dysphoria, a condition where individuals do not identify with their biological sex.
Trump Administration Enforces Military Transgender Ban
President Trump's January executive order declared gender dysphoria "inconsistent" with military readiness, effectively reversing a Biden-era policy that had permitted transgender individuals to serve openly. The administration has not provided specific evidence demonstrating how gender dysphoria impacts military fitness or deployment capabilities.
Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth's initial attempts to implement the policy faced legal challenges. However, a recent Supreme Court decision has cleared the way for the administration to proceed with enforcing the transgender service ban.
The Pentagon estimates approximately 4,200 service members may be affected by this policy change, significantly higher than the 1,000 individuals who have self-identified as having gender dysphoria.
Military Separation Process and Deadlines
Active-duty service members diagnosed with gender dysphoria have until June 6 to voluntarily separate from the military, while reserve forces face a July 7 deadline. Those choosing voluntary separation before these dates may qualify for separation pay.

The military's annual health assessment will now include specific questions designed to identify service members with gender dysphoria. This systematic screening approach represents an unprecedented step in military medical evaluations.

The Pentagon's chief spokesperson Sean Parnell has indicated that affected service members who do not voluntarily separate may face forced removal with reduced benefits.

The Monday Morning Memo for May 19, 2025
Pennie and I had a difficult week a long way from home.
It began with a piece of gravel that cracked her windshield.
Looking back, we should have just lived with it. But we didn’t know that at the time.
We dropped her car off at the appointed time on the appointed day. When Pennie picked it up, the upper-left corner of her new windshield whistled loudly at speeds above 30mph.
She called the windshield people. They gave her a new appointment.
When we picked it up for the second time, the whistle was only a little less loud than it had been, but she decided to live with it. There are a lot of things in life more annoying than a whistling windshield.
We didn’t know it, but we were about to experience a long series of those “more annoying” things.
Driving for 4 hours in a rainstorm to see your mother in the hospital is not a bad experience unless your previously-whistling windshield is now pouring quarts of water into your car.
Things went downhill from there for several days.
I won’t bore you with the details because the real purpose of this note is to tell you what happened that turned everything around for us.
We discovered a wonderful French cafe just two blocks from Clearfork Hospital in Fort Worth. Halfway through the meal, I went to their website to see if they had a location in Austin. They don’t, but I’m sure they soon will.
Meanwhile, Pennie went to romanticspotsfortworth.com to see if Clarissa had discovered and listed this amazing cafe.
Of course, she had. Clarissa is really good at her job.
Angela brought our next course to the table. I said, “We found out about you at romanticspotsfortworth.”
To our delight, Angela said, “Yes! They sent us an award with the cutest logo on it! Everyone was excited.”
Pennie and I chose not to mention that we own the romanticspots websites.
When Angela departed, I scrolled all the way to the bottom of the cafe’s website where I encountered a carousel of remarkable quotes.

Personally, I’m tired of trying to figure out which Elites have been tried and hung at GITMO, yet were still being played out by actors or clones on the World’s stage.
I’m tired of writing article after article about SRA Survivors and having no one to report the crimes against them to.
I’m tired of reading studies about how autism was caused by vaccinations, yet children were still mandated to have them in order to attend public school. I’m overly upset that some of my friends died of heart attacks caused by being vaccinated, yet pharmacies still outright advertise to vaccinate you.
I yearn for the promised ten days of disclosure so I can truthfully talk to my friends and family without being considered a weirdo.
Most of all, I pray for the children who are still caught up in [CSAM] of their high profile perpetrators.
