Well, God has a countdown clock of His own. But unlike human speculation, He actually knows with certainty when the countdown will finish. Jesus said that only God the Father knows the day and the hour of the end of this age, but He also said there will be obvious signs that point to its imminent approach.

All of these have been bombed. When the conflict in Ukraine originally erupted, the U.S. immediately attempted to crash the value of Russia's currency. Those attempts were successful for a few days, but now the value of the ruble relative to the U.S. dollar is almost all the way back to where it was before the start of the war.
This has absolutely stunned many of the experts, because they thought that U.S. sanctions would absolutely cripple Russia. So what happened? Well, it turns out that the Russians have made some very savvy moves that have turned the tables on the Biden administration.
For one thing, Russia has started to demand payment in rubles when it sells natural gas to non-friendly nations. A lot of countries in western Europe are quite upset about this, but they really have no choice, because they are exceedingly dependent on Russian gas. So, from this point forward, western powers are actually going to be forced to help prop up the value of the ruble...
Russia wants "unfriendly countries" to pay for Russian natural gas in rubles. That's a new directive from President Vladimir Putin as he attempts to leverage his country's in-demand resources to counter a barrage of Western sanctions.
"I have decided to implement ... a series of measures to switch payments -- we'll start with that -- for our natural gas supplies to so-called unfriendly countries into Russian rubles," Putin said in a televised government meeting, adding that trust in the dollar and euro had been "compromised" by the West's seizure of Russian assets. DeSantis Vetoes Congressional Map passed by GOP-led Florida Legislature:
Florida Republican Gov. Ron DeSantis vetoed the congressional map passed by the GOP-controlled state legislature on Tuesday, arguing it violated the 14th Amendment.
The governor had threatened to block the map due to the fact it kept a racially gerrymandered district intact.
The Washington Examiner reported he argued the district was “in violation of the Equal Protection Clause when dividing that district’s majority-black population among the neighboring districts would actually be a more aggressive move for the GOP.”
“We have a responsibility to produce maps for our citizens that do not contain unconstitutional racial gerrymanders,” DeSantis said in a statement.
“Today, I vetoed a map that violates the U.S. Constitution, but that does not absolve the Legislature from doing its job. I appreciate the Legislature’s willingness to work with me to pass a legally compliant map this Special Session.”
Earlier in the month, DeSantis was more explicit about the threat.
“I will veto the congressional reapportionment plan currently being debated by the House. DOA,” he said in a tweet.
Florida gained a seat due to reapportionment after the 2020 Census. During negotiations over how the districts would be redrawn, DeSantis had presented the legislature with a map which would increase districts in which the GOP had an advantage.
Currently, Republicans hold 16 of Florida’s 27 seats, while Democrats hold 11. Under the map DeSantis proposed, Republicans would have an advantage in 20 of the 28 districts.
The legislature went ahead with its own redistricting plans, however, which included the racially gerrymandered district. In a memo that accompanied the veto, DeSantis’ general counsel said the district is “not narrowly tailored to achieve a compelling state interest.”
Now, DeSantis has called for a special legislative session in April to pass a new map — and a Republican source said that without additional votes to override the veto, the legislature will have to redraw the map, along lines which would get DeSantis’ signature.
The vetoed maps passed the Florida Senate 24-15 and House of Representatives 67-47, with both votes largely along party lines. A two-thirds vote in both houses would be necessary to overturn the veto.
However, DeSantis isn’t the only one challenging the legislature’s redistricting efforts. Marc Elias, the Democrats’ top elections lawyer, is suing the state over the GOP’s redistricting efforts, which could be critical in tipping the House of Representatives to the Republicans. “This rule, this order is completely outside the bounds of the scope of federal power as we have argued successfully in numerous other cases, the CDC and the federal government and the Biden administration never had the power to issue this order originally,” she said.
The rule carries both civil and criminal penalties, Moody noted.

A rioter who threw multiple Molotov cocktails at police in Portland, Oregon, during the 2020 Black Lives Matter protests has pleaded guilty to his crimes and has been sentenced to ten years behind bars.
What are the details?
Multnomah County District Attorney Mike Schmidt announced the news in a press release Tuesday, reporting that 25-year-old Malik Muhammed of Indianapolis, Indiana, pleaded guilty to a whopping 14 felony charges — including attempted murder, assault, riot, unlawful possession of a firearm, and unlawful manufacture of a destructive device.
The news certainly signifies a welcome change of course from Schmidt, who has been the subject of harsh criticism from Portland law enforcement over his abject refusal to prosecute rioters.
In the release, Schmidt included several photos and videos of some of Muhammed's violent acts, including one prominent act in which the rioter heaved a Molotov cocktail at police, only for it to fall short and "engulf a fellow protester in flames, causing severe injuries to that person’s legs." Today’s first talk and discussion was with Nir Barkat, Likud politician and former Mayor of Jerusalem.
Mr. Barkat spoke to the Congressmen about the Israeli American relationship in general. Specifically, regarding the challenges that Israel and the free world are facing today in the world, specifically Russia, China and Iran. Especially pointing out the threats Israel has from Iran, the nuclear threat as well as the conventional threat.
Mr. Barkat said that Israel “should not have stayed neutral on Ukraine” since it is a battle against the whole free world upon which Israel is a part of.
Mr. Barkat tied in the Western world’s sanctions against Russia with the struggle against a nuclear Iran. “You can’t put sanctions on a bully like Russia with its aggressiveness and take off sanctions from Iran. They are using brute force to seek a nuclear bomb and unfortunately, they are the only country in the world that wants a bomb in order to use it. It’s not for defense purposes they want a bomb, it’s to eliminate Israel off the map. We will not allow another holocaust.
