Transformed is an incredible word. In the Greek language, it suggests that a thorough and dramatic change has taken place. The believer’s transformation begins at salvation, but the fantastic truth is that it keeps going when we immerse ourselves in God’s Word. Immersion produces unbelievable results. I know this because I met a soldier on his way to a renowned language school operated by the U.S. military. His covert assignment required him to blend into a foreign region without detection by learning the native language, dialect, and customs—a feat that required total immersion. Not a word of his native tongue would be spoken or written by the instructor as he learned the language and ways of another country. That soldier knew he would come out of his studies changed. In a biblical sense, the apostle Peter was a lot like that soldier. His transformation into a deep-thinking, courageous defender of the faith came through immersion in the Scriptures, year after year. Peter went from glory to glory, and the uneducated Galilean fisherman eventually penned the technical and theologically profound book of 2nd Peter. God’s Word, energized by the Spirit, can do that when it gets inside a person.

While the world is on fire with the escalating conflict in the Middle East, which was lit by Hamas’ October 7 attack on peaceful civilians in Israel, the Biden administration has continued its domestic persecution of political opponents here at home.
Having the nerve to call Trump supporters “homegrown extremists” and suggesting that all is well in the United States while tens of thousands of illegals pour over the southern border, invading the U.S., is beyond a spin tactic.
FBI Director Christopher Wray, who has been under scrutiny from patriots for perpetuating this spin, is now stating facts about he threat that faces America and is indeed imminent.
In a recent Homeland Security Committee hearing, Wray issued a warning of a Hamas terror attack on Americans due to the war in Israel funded by the Biden administration, according to Daily Fetched.
Wray said during a Senate Homeland Security Committee hearing:
“The reality is that the terrorism threat has been elevated throughout 2023, but the ongoing war in the Middle East has raised the threat of an attack against Americans in the United States to a whole ‘nother level.”
Wray said Hamas terrorists may soon exploit Middle East tensions to “conduct attacks here on our own soil” while inspiring domestic extremists to do the same.
“Here in the United States, our most immediate concern is that violent extremist individuals or small groups will draw inspiration from the events in the Middle East to carry out attacks against Americans going about their daily lives.”
“…cannot and do not discount the possibility that Hamas or another foreign terrorist organization may exploit the current conflict to conduct attacks here on our own soil.”

According to a recent statement from Iran’s Tasnim News Agency, Raisi said the US was hypocritical in supporting Israel in its war on Hamas.
The statement said:
“Americans who claim human rights, who equip and support this fake and anti-human regime with military equipment for crimes in Gaza, what answer do they have to their nation and the nations of the world for these actions?”
Last week, Iran’s Foreign Minister Hossein Amirabdollahian warned the US it would “not be spared” if it continued to support Israel during a UN General Assembly meeting in New York on Thursday.
“I say frankly to the American statesmen, who are now managing the genocide in Palestine, that we do not welcome the expansion of the war in the region,” Amirabdollahian told the UN General Assembly.
The statement, as others have, ignores the October 7 massacre by Hamas and the fact that not only did Israel issue a warning to those in Gaza to evacuate before it attacked the tunnels where Hamas resides, but Hamas is hiding itself in close proximity to schools and buildings in an effort to thwart retaliation.

The multinational flow across the southern U.S. border has escalated, with this outlet reporting on the cartel efforts to cut holes in the border wall as well as shootouts between the cartels and the border patrol, who are outnumbered.

Trump Issues Fearless Demand to Trial Judge That Destroys Jack Smith’s Life:
The legal representatives of former President Donald Trump have submitted a formal request to televise his trial concerning allegations of ‘election meddling’. However, the Justice Department has already expressed its disapproval of this proposal.
According to a report by The Epoch Times, the legal representatives of Trump have asserted that the exceptional nature of the case, involving a former president facing federal charges, necessitates public access to the trial proceedings. This is particularly significant given Trump’s current status as the frontrunner for the 2024 GOP presidential nomination.
“For the first time in American history, an incumbent administration has charged its main, leading electoral opponent with a criminal offense,” the lawyers wrote in a Saturday filing to U.S. District Judge Tonya Chutkan, who is presiding over the case.
“President Trump calls for sunlight. Every person in America, and beyond, should have the opportunity to study this case firsthand and watch as, if there is a trial, President Trump exonerates himself of these baseless and politically motivated charges,” they added.

“President Trump absolutely agrees, and in fact demands, that these proceedings should be fully televised so that the American public can see firsthand that this case, just like others, is nothing more than a dreamt-up unconstitutional charade that should never be allowed to happen again,” his legal team argued in their filing to Chutkan.
“Furthermore, President Trump is entitled to present his positions in this case to the American public, including his sacred obligation as president to investigate and address fraud and other irregularities in the 2020 presidential election. Therefore, the court should grant the motions and allow the movants to broadcast the proceedings of this matter,” they noted further.
According to a recent story by Newsweek, it was stated that Judge Chutkan would refrain from incarcerating former President Trump if he were to violate the court’s stringent gag order in relation to the January 6, 2021 Capitol breach, despite the Department of Justice’s urging.
The inclusion of a footnote in Chutkan’s verdict, which reinstated the gag order, presented a favorable aspect. In the footnote, Chutkan declined the prosecution’s request to make the former president’s release contingent upon his adherence to the limitations imposed by the gag order.
“The government also asks the court to incorporate the Order into Defendant’s conditions of release …,” she wrote in the first footnote of the ruling. “Even assuming that request is procedurally proper, the court concludes that granting it is not necessary to effectively enforce the Order at this time.”

Pope Fires Bishop Strickland, Conservative Critic Targeted
Pope Francis has removed Bishop Joseph Strickland, a strong advocate of traditional Catholic teachings, from his duties in the diocese of Tyler, Texas.
The move, announced by the Vatican Saturday, comes after the Vatican's Dicastery for Bishops finished its formal investigation, an apostolic visitation, into the diocese earlier this year, the Catholic News Agency (CNA) reported.
In a statement from the Archdiocese of Galveston-Houston, Cardinal Daniel Denardo said, said, "As a result of the visitation, the recommendation was made to the Holy Father that the continuation in office of Bishop Strickland was not feasible. "After months of careful consideration by the Dicastery for Bishops and the Holy Father, the decision was reached that the resignation of Bishop Strickland should be requested. Having been presented with that request on November 9, 2023, Bishop Strickland declined to resign from office. Thereafter, on November 11, 2023, the Holy Father removed Bishop Strickland from the Office of Bishop of Tyler."
The Vatican replaced Bishop Strickland with an apostolic administrator.
The investigation included an examination of Strickland's use of social media, along with questions related to the management of the diocese.
The probe came after Strickland, 65, had been posting social media messages and making other announcements critical of the Pope's support of "radical left-wing changes" to Church teachings.
Pope Francis and American Cardinal Robert Francis Prevost, the prefect of the Dicastery for Bishops met Saturday morning before the Vatican announced the pope's decision to remove Strickland.
Strickland's firing sparked an immediate outcry among conservatives and traditionalists.
Michael J. Matt, editor of the traditionalist newspaper The Remnant, wrote, with the firing, Francis was "actively trying to bury fidelity to the Church of Jesus Christ."
"This is total war," Matt wrote on X. "Francis is a clear and present danger not only to Catholics the world over but also to the whole world itself."
The pope's firing of Strickland comes this week as the Vatican announced transgender individuals could be baptized and serve as godparents.
Critics say the move is not consistent with traditional Catholic teaching which sees transgender activities as a sin, making baptism allowable only after confession.
The reason for the bishop's removal was not revealed in the Vatican's statement, which was described as a routine outline of global staffing changes by The New York Times.
Strickland recently responded to the investigation into his leadership and the talk about his leadership in a letter stating that he could not resign "because that would be me abandoning the flock" and said he would only step aside if the pope removed him.
Pope Francis has continually claimed he is open and welcomes dissent, but he has taken harsh steps against traditionalists in the hierarchy who have disagreed with him.
Last year, Francis defrocked Father Frank Pavone, the nation's leading Catholic pro-life advocate.
In 2022, Francis shocked Catholics by appointing a pro-abortion economist to the Vatican's Pontifical Academy for Life.
Strickland, over the past year has questioned Vatican officials' qualifications as Catholics, accused Francis of undermining the Catholic faith, and claimed the pope's synod that convened last month threatens "basic truths" of the church's doctrine.
"Regrettably, it may be that some will label as schismatics those who disagree with the changes being proposed," Strickland wrote in a public letter in August.
"Instead, those who would propose changes to that which cannot be changed seek to commandeer Christ's Church, and they are indeed the true schismatics."
The Pope's synod, called the Synod on Synodality, appears to be moving to allow Catholic blessings for homosexual civil unions.
Such a move, Church traditionalists, argue would directly contravene the Magisterium, the long-held teaching of the church which only permits sexual relations in traditional marriage between a man and woman.
CNA reported that during Strickland's more than 10 years in Tyler, the diocese went through several changes, including the resignation of three diocesan officials.
But there have also been some positive signs in the diocese, which has 21 men in priestly formation in the diocese, which serves 119,168 Catholics. And the diocese is considered financially healthy.
Before the pope's firing of Strickland, there had been rumors the Holy Father was planning to take action against him.
Strickland was chastised privately in November 2021 by Archbishop Christophe Pierre, the papal nuncio, or ambassador, to the United States, during a meeting of the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops.
The American Church has offered stiff opposition to Francis' efforts to depart from the church's teaching on marriage and homosexuality.
The pope reportedly criticized American Catholics during a visit to Portugal in August for having a "very strong, organized, reactionary attitude" on issues such as abortion and sexuality rather than focusing on concerns such as climate change and caring for migrants.
Despite his firing, Strickland will continue to have a platform to disagree with Francis through a weekly radio show and more than 150,000 followers on X.

Birth Control Pills do what?
The human reproductive system is one of the most complex and sensitive biological machines ever devised, so honestly it's not that surprising that synthetic hormones might do stuff like this:
Oral birth control may alter the part of the brain responsible for emotion, anxiety and fear, possibly making women on the pill more likely to engage in unsafe behaviors.
Researchers from Canada studied 139 women aged 23 to 35 years old and found those taking oral contraception had thinner regions on their frontal lobe than those who had never taken or had stopped taking OCs.
That thinning "is thought to impact social conduct and impulsivity, possibly leading to women on OCs having lower inhibitions, taking more risks and having less fear."
Maybe there's a reason that women tend to be more risk-adverse than men — perhaps because they're more at risk of suffering significant consequences of risky behavior, whether it's physical danger or sexual intimacy? Perhaps God designed women to be a counterbalance to male risk-taking?
Look, I don't make the memes; I'm just saying that by God's grace men have women to help them make smart decisions, and those decisions affect whether society succeeds or fails. Women are literally the gatekeepers of the next generation! But our hormone-tweaking games seem to be making more women into, well, men.
Maybe God's design is such that the human body is pretty freakin' perfect as it is, and we shouldn't be loading it with mass-produced hormones the effects of which we only barely understand?
The scientists conducting this study "said more research needs to be done" (ya think?!) but "their results suggest exposure to sex hormones plays a role in the structure of the nervous system." (YA THINK?!)
For better or worse, women are going to be taking hormonal birth control for the foreseeable future, of course; it's extremely popular and embedded in our culture.
But we should have all the facts. Which is why, yes, we need more research.

According to the charity, there has been “a 30% increase in under-18s contacting them and a 26% rise in adults contacting them because they were concerned about the behaviour of a young person.”
A report by France’s government-nominated equality watchdog recently published similar findings last month, noting that up to 90% of online porn content “features verbal, physical and sexual violence towards women.”
According to the French audiovisual regulator Arcom, 51% of 12-year-old boys view porn at least monthly — I suspect that number is far higher — and the report noted that this “massive consumption from a young age reinforces rape culture.” Sylvie Pierre-Brossolette, the head of the equality watchdog, stated in one interview that there is “no reason in 2023 to tolerate these illegal acts of unbearable torture” and that online pornography has become “a school for sexual violence.”
