What’s left of the NDP will have no real choice but to keep this government alive, even if they just have to call call in sick the day a major confidence vote happens.

 

We also don’t think that the Tories are going to be in any rush to race back to the polls.

Urgent situation for the unhoused/Please read and take action if you can:

 

The following appeal comes from Tanja (the same lady who brought you the movie about homelessness & addiction in London).  Our mayor says the city has a $60 million dollar surplus.  It's more than enough to help the unhoused.  On top of that, a friend of mine points out that the Corp of the City of London actually has $1.9 Billion in unspent reserves!!!  (See attached.)  What's wrong with this picture???!!

Hey everyone!   

Recently, city councillors voted, in very vague language, that encampments must come to an end.  When and how I am not sure.  Apparently, there will continue to be mobile services from London Cares beginning 1st May’25.  

 

The City’s first order of the day was to remove toilets from the encampments which caused strong reactions of disgust from the citizens in the gallery who called out “Shame. Shame.”, leading to the removal of one woman who strongly vocalized her disgust at the city’s decision. (Who could blame her?).  We also know that the money that the council agreed to deal with the situation was given to Ark Aid, enabling them to continue their outreach while most of this money goes to the salaried employees.  

 

There was no talk about establishing shelters for the unhoused or providing mental health or rehabilitation facilities.  Nor were there any plans to indicate what kind of winter response they would be providing, particularly egregious in light of the abysmal Council efforts to support the homeless community last Winter. 

 

To add insult to injury, the day after the aforementioned council meeting, “His Worship”, Josh Morgan, congratulated himself on having a $60 million dollar surplus.  No sign that any of this money will go to help the unhoused. 

 

As a result, my group, that is working to find ways to solve this problem, composed a letter.  We know that politicians respond to large numbers of people who voice their concerns.  We are hoping that each of you can copy and paste this letter and send it en masse to the councillors, so we can at least restore washrooms in the park as a temporary solution.

 

I've included the names of all the councillors and their emails as well as the letter.

Please share with whoever else you think might be interested in sending the letter as well.

This Data is from the Corp of the City of London financial statements. This is the full fin’s picture of London, not just the narrow taxpayer base only (which is about half to the city’s true revenue.

Here are some screen shots I took from the 2023 statements. They show $1.9B in reserves of which $1.2B are “discretionary”. 2024 will come out this month.

 

Longer nighttime walks to use a toilet could put already vulnerable women living in a homeless encampment at even greater risk.

Less than a week after London City Council voted 9-6 to remove a stationary service depot that provided basic needs (food, water, and two portable toilets) at the homeless encampment in Watson Street Park, the sanitation devices are gone.

 



“I think it’s inhumane, to be honest with you,” says Amanda, who lives in the encampment. “We have so many people down here that need use the bathrooms!”

Earlier this month, city staff estimated there were 36 people living in the park.

A 33-year-old woman named Shelley suggests the decision robs her of dignity.

“I must either go get a bucket, put a bag over it and go in there, or dig a hole in the ground [and] cover it after I’m done,” she explains to CTV News.

 

She says because children sometime pass by on the park’s bike path, she might have to venture deeper into the wooded area to ensure privacy, “I’m shocked. I don’t know where else they would expect us to go [to the washroom]!”

City council’s decision to close the service depot and remove the portable toilets was made in response to a serious fire at a nearby encampment.

 

There have also been mounting complaints from neighbours that the encampment has grown too large because basic needs were made available at the park.

Instead, a mobile service depot will begin operating in May to deliver food, water, and other supports directly to people living unhoused.

 



However, Shelley worries that without the centrally located portable toilets, women will be walking further in the dark each night or venturing deeper into the woods to relieve themselves.

“It is scary down here at night, especially with abductions happening to the young girls,” she explains.

“There’s a lot of people coming in and out of here at nighttime,” adds Amanda.

A portable toilet that had been located a short walk away in Chelsea Green Park {near Adelaide Street) was also gone on Tuesday morning.

 

Downriver, the public washrooms in Thames Park on Ridout Street were locked when CTV News checked.

Civic administration referred questions about the washroom options available to encampment residents to London Cares, an agency that provides outreach.

“We are working at mapping out locations for portapotties across the community to support (the) washroom concerns,” says Chantelle McDonald, Director of Service at London Cares.

 

Until then, people living in Watson Park can access hygiene supports by travelling to The Commons (602 Queens Ave.), Ark Aid Street Mission (696 Dundas St. E.), and the Salvation Army Centre of Hope (281 Wellington Rd).

Outreach workers continue to work with individuals within the Watson Street Park encampment daily with basic needs, connection to service, and housing readiness requirements.

Shelley says the community of people living within the encampment need assistance until London has enough supportive housing.

 

Taking away their bathroom doesn’t solve anything—they have no where else to go.

“I just feel disgusted, I don’t think it’s right.”

TRUMP’s PRAYER Partners:

Trump Asks Muslim Leaders 'Do You Want to Die?' and 'What About the 38 Virgins?'

For the umpteenth time, Trump has just said some “bizarre” things that, upon closer examination, turn out to be entirely reasonable.

 

As the establishment media is almost exclusively leftist, most reporters cover Donald Trump and his supporters as if they were strange alien beings. Tim Walz just boasted about his ability to “code talk” to white male voters who liked to watch football and fix their trucks themselves. And the oddest animal of all, as far as the media is concerned, is Trump himself. For one thing, he is a very funny man, and they are grim and humorless. As a man who loves America and Americans, his values are incomprehensible to them. And compounding the confusion is that he’s a good deal more intelligent than they give him credit for being, and so they often miss what exactly he is saying. 

 

This happened again at the National Day of Prayer on Thursday. Having a president who openly endorses and encourages Christian piety baffles and infuriates leftist reporters, who are used to politicians such as Old Joe Biden. 

In this as in so many ways, Biden was the exact opposite of Trump. While Trump’s public reputation, marital record, and more don’t give anyone the impression that he is a particularly religious man, he has taken repeated steps to strengthen the presence and influence of Christianity in American public life. Biden, on the other hand, was an ostentatious believer who paraded his piety before the world, but it was hollow; his regime acted directly against Christian values in all manner of ways.

 


And so AFP, among others, covered the National Day of Prayer as if they were writing a paper for anthropology class. Trump, according to AFP, was “surrounded by faith leaders calling for him to be given ‘divine dreams’ in an extraordinary event at the White House on Thursday.” The Times of India added that while there, Trump made “bizarre remarks” about his earlier meetings with Muslim leaders in Michigan who supported him during the 2024 presidential campaign.

 

Trump said of the Muslim leaders: “I love them. They were great. They said, ‘We don’t want to die.’ I said, ‘You want to die?’ They said, ‘We don’t want to die.’ I said, ‘What about the 38 virgins?’ They said, ‘That’s nonsense.’” The Times of India adds: “The line triggered predictable mockery online. ‘It’s 72 virgins, not 38,’ one X user deadpanned. ‘Trump’s math works in mysterious ways.’ Another joked that the number downgrade was the latest example of the president’s famed deal-making abilities—‘negotiating paradise down by 47%.’”

 

Yeah, that’s a good one. But overlooked amid all the banter and media chatter about the strangeness of the event was any consideration of what Trump was actually trying to do. Trump's remarks here aren't really "bizarre" at all.

When he asked the imams in Michigan if they wanted to die, he likely had in mind the Islamic jihadists’ oft-repeated desire for death. A Muslim child preacher once taunted those he has been taught to hate most: “Oh Zionists, we love death for the sake of Allah, just as much as you love life for the sake of Satan.” Jihad mass murderer Mohamed Merah said that he “loved death more than they loved life.” The late Nigerian jihadist Abubakar Shekau said: “I’m even longing for death, you vagabond.”

 

Former al-Qaeda chief Ayman al-Zawahiri’s wife advised Muslim women: “I advise you to raise your children in the cult of jihad and martyrdom and to instil in them a love for religion and death.” And as one jihadist put it, “We love death. You love your life!” And another: “The Americans love Pepsi-Cola, we love death.” That was from Afghan jihadist Maulana Inyadullah.

 

Of course, this idea comes from the Qur’an itself: “Say, O you who are Jews, if you claim that you are favored of Allah apart from mankind, then long for death if you are truthful.” — Qur’an 62:6

 

And as for the virgins, he likely has in mind the Qur’an’s promise of paradise to those who "kill and are killed" for Allah (9:111). He did, however, get the number wrong, as this hadith makes clear: “That the Messenger of Allah said: ‘There are six things with Allah for the martyr.


He is forgiven with the first flow of blood (he suffers), he is shown his place in Paradise, he is protected from punishment in the grave, secured from the greatest terror, the crown of dignity is placed upon his head – and its gems are better than the world and what is in it – he is married to seventy two wives among Al-Huril-‘Ayn of Paradise, and he may intercede for seventy of his close relatives.’ [Abu ‘Eisa said:] This Hadith is Hasan [good] Sahih [reliable].” (Jami at-Tirmidhi 3.22.1663)

 

Trump was trying to determine whether they were moderates or jihadis. This was entirely reasonable, although his way of going about doing it was jocular, and as imperfect as any other effort to make this determination would be. And the issue of the sincerity of their responses is no small one. Nevertheless, Trump’s questions to the Muslim leaders were of the kind that ought to have been asked to many other Muslim leaders who were presumed to be moderate over the years. If they had been, there might not be so much confusion today over who and what exactly is a moderate, and whether such claims can ever be trusted at all.

A Hitch in Trump’s Mideast Plans:

 

As US President Donald Trump gears up for business with gilded Gulf Arab powers, in next-door Yemen the Houthi rebels aren’t letting him forget the war that’s festering elsewhere in the region.


Their weekend salvo of ballistic missiles against Israel — culminating in one that eluded air defenses and landed within Ben Gurion Airport perimeter — represented the kind of disruption that Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s government had hoped was in the past after more than a year and half of battling Iran-backed proxies on various fronts.


The Houthis have proven the most dogged of those adversaries, weathering a US-led bombing campaign to keep up long-range attacks against Israeli and Red Sea shipping targets in solidarity with Palestinian Hamas. That’s as Israel prepares to expand its military action in Gaza and continues to freeze aid deliveries amid a stalemate in talks with Hamas.

It’s a situation likely to tax Trump and his ceasefire aims. His mix of threats against Hamas and robust backing for Israel has failed to end the conflict. He sounds less ebullient about recovering hostages held in Gaza. Unlike the maiden trip of his first term, his tour of the Gulf next week doesn’t include a Jerusalem leg.

Trump’s Israeli allies see the Houthi attack as a reminder of the need to tackle Iran before it can attain the means to make nuclear weapons. Yet the US president may not relish another challenge to his preference for talking Tehran down with promises of an economic boom.

Which all points to a high yield from a missile which caused scant damage. An Israeli source said the warhead contained less than a fifth of the standard explosives load, suggesting the Houthis traded lethality for range as their arsenal drains.

Trump suggested his administration could strike trade deals with some countries as soon as this week, and separately indicated he’s willing to lower tariffs on China at some point because the levies are so high that the two nations have essentially stopped doing business with each other. He also announced he plans to impose a 100% tariff on movies produced overseas, hitting the entertainment sector for the first time.

 

Trump insisted he doesn’t plan to fire Federal Reserve Chair Jerome Powell despite his sustained criticism over the pace of interest-rate cuts, telling NBC that Powell doesn’t want to reduce borrowing costs because “he just doesn’t like me because I think he’s a total stiff.” Fed officials are widely expected to hold rates steady when they meet in Washington tomorrow and Wednesday, with concerns of a possible recession mounting.

 

Anthony Albanese’s decisive victory in Saturday’s Australian election raises the question of whether the center-left prime minister will use his mandate to push through the tough measures needed to overhaul the economy. Trump praised his “very good relationship” with Albanese, while iron-ore billionaire Gina Rinehart urged the country’s defeated conservatives to embrace the policies of the US leader.



Right-wing nationalist George Simion won Romania’s first-round presidential election yesterday, pitting him against the centrist Bucharest Mayor Nicușor Dan in a May 18 runoff that will determine the future path of a frontline NATO and European Union member state. Romanian authorities were criticized by US Vice President JD Vance this year for annulling a prior vote on the grounds of Russian interference after a pro-Putin conspiracy theorist came from nowhere to place first.



Any doubts about the People’s Action Party’s ability to continue dominating Singapore’s politics after six decades in power were put to rest at the weekend. Led by Lawrence Wong in his first election as prime minster, the PAP took 87 of 97 seats in parliament.

The Spanish grid operator has yet to explain what caused the largest nationwide blackout to date last week, with some speculating that a high share of solar power in the electricity grid may have been to blame. A similar outage occurred in South Australia in 2016, triggered by severe weather and a combination of other factors, including reduced wind-farm output, but not solely caused by renewables. Meanwhile, the government in Madrid said today that the nation’s grid suffered more generation disruptions than previously known.

The US government just admitted something shocking.

They KNEW Pfizer’s COVID “vaccine” trials were a complete sham back in 2020.

 

But they didn’t pursue fraud because exposing it would blow up the very health policy they’re still clinging to today.

This revelation comes from the whistleblower case of Brook Jackson, a former regional director at Ventavia, the company that ran Pfizer’s clinical trials.

In 2021, Jackson filed a lawsuit under the False Claims Act, alleging that Pfizer, Ventavia, and others committed fraud by falsifying data and violating clinical trial protocols.

And now, the government refuses to investigate further—because doing so would expose that they knowingly pushed a harmful product onto the American people.

Here’s what Brook Jackson witnessed firsthand.

 

As regional director at Ventavia, the company running Pfizer’s vaccine trial sites, Jackson said the entire operation was riddled with serious violations. She saw falsified data, trial participants who were unblinded, staff who were poorly trained, and vaccines that were improperly stored.

 

Worse, she claimed the company FAILED to follow up on adverse events, including serious, potentially life-threatening ones—which recklessly endangered patients and destroyed the integrity of the entire trial.

“We were so inundated with the number of adverse events that we could not keep up,” she said. Pfizer even called asking what the plan was to handle the flood of safety reports.

 

She said patients weren’t even given full informed consent—her “number one concern.”

Jackson reported these issues to Ventavia. When nothing changed, she went to the FDA.

 

Six hours later, she was fired. The reason? “I was not a good fit,” she said. “I was not a good fit for reporting fraudulent conduct in a clinical trial.”

Jackson worked at Ventavia for just 18 days but says that’s all it took to get a grasp of the fraud she witnessed.

Armstrong Predicts (a page from our book too)

What will be the next big turn?  Spoiler alert, it has to do with war in Ukraine and Russia.  Armstrong says, “Europe does not want peace.  Look at things the EU has said: that Russia is too big and has to be broken up.  I have very good contacts very high up, and they really do think they can conquer Russia.  It has $75 trillion in natural resource assets.  They will then control that . . . Once they get their hands on that . . . they will rise to the top of countries of the world,  like the Roman Empire will be resurrected or something.”

 

But instead of the EU winning a war against Russia, Armstrong predicts, “They will lose bigtime.  The third time is not going to be the charm. . . . The euro will disappear, not the dollar.”

The timing of the next big turn for war?  Armstrong says, “After May 15, war is turning up (in Ukraine) and it will be turning up into 2026.  If I am Putin, there is no way I am signing a peace deal.  Putin signed a peace deal (in 2015) and what did they do?  They built an army while Russia didn’t.”

 

 

In the booklet Don and I wrote after 2012 we predicted the above, but we differ with Armstrong in one big way.  We say Turkey will make a temporary alliance with Russia for the big invasion of Europe.  Armstrong thinks it will be China.

Armstrong predicts China will come in on the side of Russia, and there could be as many as “one billion dead and wounded” as a result.  What should the US do?  Armstrong says, “I have been talking to people in Washington, and I have told them to ‘Get the hell out of NATO.’  There are plenty of people warming up to that idea.”

Once notified we would have ten days to set our appointments and until the end of May 2025 to go to those appointments.
