SPIRITUAL:
POWERFUL THOUGHTS for SATURDAY MORNING:
Bible: "2 the same but very different".
Something I just noticed. At the end of his life, Jesus encountered two the same but very different:
A) Disciples: Both Judas and Peter betrayed him. One went to hell, the other to heaven.
B) Crowds: One waved palm leaves and lay down their robes on the dirt road as he rode into Jerusalem for his trial. The other shouted "crucify him" at his trial.
C) Jesus "son of the Father": was presented to the Jews by Pilate next to Jesus Bar-Abbas which is translated "Jesus son of father". Both had the same name, but one was perfect and the other was a stubborn terrorist.
D) Thieves crucified with Jesus: one mocked him, the other begged for his mercy. Jesus responded to the latter, "This day you will be with me in Paradise".
E) Roman soldiers. They tossed lots to see who would get his expensive cape. Only one said, "Surely this man was the son of God".
This indicates to me that men always have a choice of two ways to reach an "ideal objective", God's way or our way. The end does not justify the means but God will use all things for his purposes. (That's another paradox that's not a paradox.) Both ways are divinely appointed.
Keep this in mind when evaluating what's going on in the Middle East. There we can see two different actions taking place at the same time, both building to fulfill God's plan for Jews and Gentiles in the Holy Land, one in a very secular way, the other in a very spiritual way. Both are scriptural, but depend on which bible you use. Hebrews organized the Old Testament scriptures ending with the 2 Chronicles 36:23. My friend Don Brooks points this out:
The Hebrew Bible closes with the words: “Whoever among you of all His people—may the LORD his God be with him, and let him go up” (2 Chr. 36:23). In Hebrew, “ya‘al” – “go up” – is the root of the modern word Aliyah, used today for Jewish immigration to Israel. Thus, the Tanakh ends with a command-call: go up to Jerusalem, return, rebuild, and restore.
In contrast, the international Bible – based on the Septuagint’s influence and later Christian tradition – follows a different order. The books are grouped as Law, History, Poetry/Writings, and Prophets, and the Old Testament ends with Malachi, the last of the Twelve Minor Prophets. Malachi closes not with an invitation to return to the land, but with a prophecy of coming judgment and redemption. The final verses look forward to the appearance of “Elijah the prophet” who will turn the hearts of the fathers to the children and the children to the fathers (Mal. 4:5–6). For Christians throughout the ages, this prophetic note sets the stage for John the Baptist who comes in the “spirit and power of Elijah.”
Thus, where the Hebrew Bible ends with a call to rebuild the physical temple and city, the Christian Old Testament ends with a call to prepare for the spiritual temple – Messiah Himself.
Both endings of the Hebrew scriptures ultimately complement each other rather than compete, contributing to one story
THE DIFFERENCE IS SIGNIFICANT
The Hebrew Bible’s ending emphasizes continuity, restoration, and return to the land. It reflects Israel’s ongoing covenant identity and the hope of God’s people re-gathered. The international Bible’s ending emphasizes the anticipation of prophetic tension pointing to the coming of Messiah and the dawning of the New Covenant.
Ultimately both endings complement one another rather than compete. The Hebrew Bible keeps our feet grounded in history and covenant, reminding us that God’s promises to Israel are not abandoned. The Christian Old Testament keeps our eyes lifted toward the horizon, reminding us that those promises, find their fulfilment in Messiah.

The Time of Esau’s Trouble:
There are TWO references... JACOB’s Troubles and ESAU’s Troubles
There is a passage in the Bible that describes a unique day, a day unlike any preceding day. It will be the “time of Jacob’s trouble,” or tribulation. (Jeremiah 30:7)
The small Book of Obadiah is about “the time of Esau’s trouble,” and the reasons why. The Lord clearly states that He is speaking of the land of Esau, which is Edom. There is no guessing. The Lord stated that the pride of Esau’s heart deceived him, and even though (the descendants of) Esau lived high in the clefts of the rocks of mountainous Edom, He would bring them down.
The reasons for the destruction of Esau’s lineage are given in Obadiah 1:12-14. The occurrence is probably the capture of Jerusalem by the Babylonians, but the conquerors are not named. There are seven reasons for the Lord’s anger, forming a complete list.
1. They should not have looked on the day of thy brother in the day he became a stranger (the day of his unexpected calamity – please see Strong’s H5235)
2. They should not have rejoiced over the children of Judah in the day of their destruction
3. They should not have spoken proudly in the day of distress
4. They should not have entered into the gate of my people in the day of their calamity
5. They should not have looked on their affliction in the day of their calamity
6. They should not have stood in the crossway, to cut off those of his that did escape
7. They should not have delivered up those of his that did remain in the day of distress
The people of Edom looked on the calamity of their brother Jacob with glee, and rejoiced at his destruction. They spoke proudly that it “couldn’t happen to them.” Then they entered the defeated city, probably to pillage. The people of Edom looked on Jacob’s affliction, but did nothing to help. In fact, they blocked those attempting to escape the destruction, and captured the refugees to return them to the conquerors.
Immediately following these seven reasons for the Lord’s anger against Esau’s descendants, the Lord declares that the “Day of the Lord” is near for all the world (verse 15). This is not an ordinary day, but the time of the Lord’s justified wrath. This is the time when the Lord gathers all nations to Jerusalem (Zechariah 14:2-3).
Despite this ominous sounding prophecy, the Lord declares that there will be deliverance on Mount Zion (verse 17). The Hebrew word translated as deliverance (pelata Strong’s H6413) implies escape. The people of Judah will escape to Mount Zion. This may correspond to the Day of the Lord described in Zechariah 12:8.
Then Obadiah records a statement of finality against Esau.
“there shall not be any remaining of the house of Esau; for the LORD hath spoken it.”
– Obadiah 1:18
There are two parts to the Day of the Lord. One part is the “time of Jacob’s trouble,” but he will be saved out of it” (Jeremiah 30:7). The second part is the “time of Esau’s trouble,” and he will be destroyed as noted above.
The concluding passage of the Book of Obadiah confirms the complete finality of the Lord’s statement against not just Esau, but the world. The number seven is the number of completion. The Israelites will occupy and possess seven lands or regions.

2. the plain the Philistines
3. the fields of Ephraim
4. the fields of Samaria
5. the land of Gilead
6. the land of the Canaanites
7. the cities of the south
“And saviours shall come up on mount Zion to judge the mount of Esau; and the kingdom shall be the LORD'S.” – Obadiah 1:21
In this final verse of the Book of Obadiah, the word translated as “saviours” is the root of the Hebrew name of Jesus, Jeshua. The clear finality of the prophecy is “the Kingdom shall be the Lord’s.” I look forward to the day. Praise His name, always!

Bitcoin and crypto prices have rocketed higher this year, making the combined crypto market worth $4 trillion as “the floodgates start to open.”

Last year, during the election campaign, Trump floated the possibility of using bitcoin to pay off the U.S.'s $35 trillion debt pile, telling Fox Business that, “maybe we'll pay off our $35 trillion, hand them a little crypto check, right?”
The Trump administration has embraced bitcoin, cryptocurrencies and dollar-pegged stablecoins, with Treasury secretary Scott Bessent saying in July that stablecoins “will buttress the dollar’s status as the global reserve currency, expand access to the dollar economy for billions across the globe, and lead to a surge in demand for U.S. Treasuries, which back stablecoins."
The U.S. debt pile has ballooned to $37 trillion this year as huge Covid-era spending and higher interest rates contribute to what some fear could become a "crisis" for the U.S. dollar.
The soaring gold price that’s surged alongside the U.S. debt has sparked speculation the U.S. Federal Reserve could revalue its $750 billion gold reserves that are officially valued at just $11 billion, with a Fed paper outlining how it could do so last month.

Judy Note: On Wed. 10 Sept. 2025 Charlie Kirk, founder of Turning Point USA and popular conservative podcast host, was shot and k****d. At the time he was seated under a tent, speaking to an outdoor audience of around 3,000 Utah Valley University student fans (only a handful of leftists) as part of his American Comeback Tour.
Strangely, a day before the Charlie Kirk assassination on Tues. 9 Sept. 2025, a book titled “The Shooting of Charlie Kirk: A Comprehensive Account of the Utah Valley University Attack, the Aftermath, and America’s Response,” appeared on Amazon Books on the Internet with a publication date of that same Tues. 9 Sept. 2025 – a day before the assassination took place.
Author Anastasia J. Casey was unknown in the literary world and there was no evidence that the ghost writer even existed. The book was not only miraculously written, but advertised as published at least a full 24 hours before the attack it describes even took place. It was quickly taken down from Amazon, though screenshots of it remained as evidence.
Another strange occurrence: On that same Tues. 9 Sept. 2025 both the LA Times and New York Times ran stories about the Charlie Kirk Assassination. The only problem: It didn’t happen until the next day on Wed. 10 Sept. 2025.
On Wed. 10 Sept. 2025 around 12:24 at Utah Valley University (UVU) in Utah County Utah, a student in the outdoor crowd of around 3,000 shouted, “There’s somebody on the roof right there (Loose Center Building). He just ran from over there, ran in, now he’s right there.”
At that same time the apparent shooter appeared on the roof of the Loosee Center Building, two of Kirk’s bodyguards standing behind him while he was speaking were making hand signals, which video footage showed was to the shooter on the roof.
Moments later at approximately 12:24 pm, Kirk was fatally shot while answering a question about mass shootings. Video taken close to the stage showed him slumping in his chair as blood poured from his neck. His security team, including the two bodyguards who appeared to be signaling to the possible shooter, rushed to his side and immediately carried him to an ambulance off campus.
An eyewitness said the shot that took the life of Charlie Kirk was fired right after he was asked about trans violence, as if it were coordinated. He believes it wasn’t just one person acting alone, but several people working together. He also claims that someone in the crowd confessed to the shooting right after it happened, even though they didn’t have a weapon.
A clip, filmed from inside a nearby building, captured the panic of the over 3,000 people who had gathered for Kirk’s event. As the single gunshot rang out, the crowd dropped for cover. Above them, the shadowy figure appeared to move quickly across the rooftop of Loosee Center UVU building. Surveillance video shows the suspect jumping off the building and fleeing the area on foot.
ATF and other law-enforcement later located an older model imported Mauser .30-06 caliber bolt action rifle wrapped in a towel in a wooded area near the campus. The location of the firearm appears to match the suspect’s route of travel. The spent cartridge was still chambered in addition to three unspent rounds at the top fed magazine. All cartridges have engraved wording on them, expressing t*********r and anti-fascist ideology.
By Fri. 12 Sept. 2025 authorities confirmed the Charlie Kirk shooter as Michael Mallinson, a registered Democrat in Utah. Although, not all agreed with the quick investigation results.

They got proactive and faked his death. The whole family is going into a Witness Protection Program. This whole thing seemed too planned, even the investigation. Meanwhile back on Tues. 10 Sept. around 15 min. after the shooting and at a small Provo Utah Airport – that was a five min. drive from UVU – a private plane quietly left without registering their flight path with Air Control.
