Hunter Biden’s Lawyer Sends Trump “Cease-and-Desist” Letter Regarding Social Media Comments:
One of Hunter Biden’s many expensive lawyers sent former President Donald Trump, a cease-and-desist letter to prevent the president from posting rhetoric on social media that could “harm” the Biden family. According to ABC News, Abbe Lowell, said that Trump’s rhetoric on social media “could lead to [Hunter Biden’s] or his family’s injury.”
Lowell was quoted by them as saying-
“This is not a false alarm,”…. “We are just one such social media message away from another incident, and you should make clear to Mr. Trump — if you have not done so already — that Mr. Trump’s words have caused harm in the past and threaten to do so again if he does not stop.”
Apparently, Lowell added that Trump’s team “need not respond” to the letter but warned the former president “how his incitement can further hurt people and cause himself even more legal trouble.” Like the line from the Three Little Pigs – who built a brick house, where the wolf says – …”then I’ll huff and I’ll puff and blow your house down! The big wind then, had just about as much effect as Abbe’s letter does now - none.
According to a report by Breitbart News, Kash Patel, former deputy director of national intelligence, and former chief of staff at the Pentagon, said the letter is not a substantive legal request and is just “fodder for the media to attack” Trump. Patel added-
“Abbe is a fantastic attorney, this sort of filing is a public plea, rather than a substantive legal request,”… “It only provides the media with meaningless fodder to attack President Trump, and in true lackey fashion, they will all follow suit.”…and…“Perhaps he can definitely tell us if his client has brought narcotics onto the White House compound — now that is of actual great media and legal interest,”

One of Hunter Biden’s most relentless critics for years, Trump successfully labeled Hunter Biden’s abandoned laptop the “Laptop from Hell” in 2020. Recently, regarding the cocaine discovered in the White House ,Trump said that that the WH knows who smuggled cocaine, into one of the most secure buildings in the world. Also, according to the same outlet, Mike Davis, founder and president of the Pro-Trump Article III Project, and former Chief Counsel for Nominations, to Senate Judiciary Chairman Chuck Grassley, letter was a line of bull, and the president’s “crack house and corruption den” puts Hunter at the center of attention. Davis went on to say-
“If President Biden doesn’t want his adult son to become a subject of public discussion, Biden shouldn’t let Hunter serve as the bagman for the Biden foreign-corruption racket,”… “And unless Hunter’s changing Joe’s diapers, Biden shouldn’t let his 53-year-old son stay in the White House, vacation at Camp David, or fly on Air Force One and Marine One.”

One committed and well-informed person can provide genuinely valuable information. In a disaster, getting substantive help seems to depend more on the luck of the draw, though, than on organization. Research assistant Rachel Baye tried a similar approach to solicit information from the Department of Homeland Security:
UNKNOWN:“The Department of Homeland Security switchboard. How may I direct your call?”
RACHEL: “Hi, I was wondering if I could get some information about emergency preparedness?”
UNKNOWN:“Yeah, one moment.”
RECORDING:“You have reached the Federal Emergency Management Agency. Please hold for the next available agent.”
UNKNOWN:“FEMA operator.”
RACHEL: “Hi, I was looking for some information on emergency preparedness.”
UNKNOWN:“OK. Hold on for just a moment.”
RACHEL: “Thank you.” (Music for 20 seconds, then a recorded message) “... the following options. If you’re a member of the media and have an inquiry, press one.For general public affairs questions, please press two. If you’re with a state, local, or tribal government and would like to speak to someone in inter-governmental affairs, press three. Rachel pressed four, hoping to speak with someone in community relations and got this recorded message: “Public 44 44 is not available. Record your message after the tone. When you’ve finished. ...” At this point, Rachel hung up.
The thought struck me that anyone who has been “affected by a disaster and would like to register for assistance” may not make it through the first six prompts of that phone message.
The greater issue, though, is a lack of consistency. The search for guidance on disaster relief, when there is no crisis underway, no stress involved, cannot be dependent on the design of a more efficient phone tree. It cannot rely on the individual enthusiasm of a staffer or volunteer operator at the Red Cross or be undermined by the bored indifference of a government worker at the Department of Homeland Security. There is no guidance on guidance.
If not the Red Cross, Federal Emergency Management Agency or the Department of Homeland Security, where should the interested citizen turn? What is available online can be pathetically inadequate, boiling down to the customary recommendation for two to three days’ worth of food and water, warm clothing, a functioning battery-powered radio and extra batteries.
Disaster preparation recommendations usually include a predetermined plan for where and how the family will meet. Beyond that, citizens are largely adrift, left to find their own solutions.
A few of them have. A lot of others are still searching.

Koppel was among the last of the broadcast consensus journalists, his authoritative baritone connoting a sturdy objectivity — a throwback to a time when Americans drew from the same set of facts, the same shared reality.
A few years before the novel coronavirus turned life as we knew it upside down, Koppel penned “Lights Out: A Cyberattack, a Nation Unprepared, Surviving the Aftermath,” an eerily prescient warning that foreshadowed the systemic vulnerabilities exposed by the COVID-19 pandemic.
During the reporting of the book, Koppel visited Wyoming and Utah to get a sense of what he described as the “culture of self-reliance” in the rural West. He was particularly impressed by his visit to Salt Lake City and what he described as an “extraordinary focus on the integration of self-sufficiency and charity.”

Report from the U.S. Navy has Joe Biden sweating bullets:
A new military report has his Joe Biden’s desk in the Oval Office. It’s not looking good.
And now Joe Biden is sweating bullets over what it means for the future of America.
Polls have shown that Americans overwhelmingly trust conservative Republicans with running the military and foreign policy overall compared to their leftist Democrat counterparts.
The Afghanistan pullout disaster certainly served as the major reason why Joe Biden is simply not trusted by the vast majority of Americans with the military.
Who makes such a huge mistake like leaving Americans and military personnel hanging to dry in a territory that is being run over by the Taliban? Joe Biden apparently.
In the wake of the Afghanistan disaster, you’d think Biden would give the military and his foreign policy a little more attention and refine it so he doesn’t look like a complete and utter failure for four years on those fronts.
But you’d be wrong, of course.
A new report from Congress has demonstrated that the Navy is in really bad shape and operating at a fraction of its total capacity.
According to the Congressional Research Service report, 36% of the Navy’s submarine fleet is simply out of commission either currently facing maintenance or waiting to receive maintenance.

A report by the Congressional Research Service published July 6 said that of the Navy’s 50 attack submarines, 18 are in maintenance or waiting for their turn. The report cited Rear Adm. Jon Rucker, who said in November 2022 the “best practice would call for just 20% to be tied up in repairs, or 10 boats instead of 18.”
Some experts are saying that it is unwise for so many Navy submarines to be waiting for maintenance if they are still entirely functional and operational and only need minor maintenance.
One expert, Ronald O’Rourke, has said that he believes that this has hamstrung the Navy in being able to complete “day-to-day” missions and tasks.
This has “force’s capacity for meeting day-to-day mission demands and potentially putting increased operational pressure” on existing operating submarines, according to O’Rourke.
The report pointed to four main reasons why the delays in getting submarines and ships back to operations were so lengthy.
Firstly, there’s only four authorized naval shipyards in the entirety of the United States right now. That’s something Donald Trump mentioned in the 2020 election that he wanted to address.
Secondly, the report cited a shortage of parts for certain submarines and ships.
Thirdly, they note that certain steels that are no longer approved for use were used in ships between the years 1987 and 2017.
And lastly, they say there’s been defective hull coatings for some of the submarines that are in maintenance right now.
This comes at a time when the Chinese Navy is growing more and more powerful by the day. Some projections show that their Navy fleet could be larger than the United States’ in a matter of 10 years.
Whether or not their Navy is more capable overall is another question entirely. But it’s no doubt that they’ve closed the gap.
Whoever is in the White House in the next term needs to address this issue or you could see America’s enemies grow more emboldened by the failure to upkeep our U.S. military at full strength.

U.S. House prepares to impeach top Biden admin official:
This is a disaster for President Biden. His administration is falling apart at the seams.
Because the U.S. House is preparing to impeach this top Biden admin official for shocking crimes.
In late June, the House of Representatives Committee on Homeland Security announced that they would be investigating a full investigation into Alejandro Mayorkas, the Biden administration’s Homeland Security Secretary.
The Committee alleges that Mayorkas has been derelict in his duty to protect American sovereignty at the southern border and they are investigating him for potential crimes in the Department of Homeland Security.
The Homeland.house.gov website on the announcement of the investigation reads:
“Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas has been willfully derelict in his duties as Secretary of Homeland Security. He has disregarded his oath to the Constitution by ignoring the basic tenets of that Constitution.”
That investigation may be proving fruitful according to the latest reports coming out of the Committee.
The Homeland Security Chairman Mark Green (R-TN) has now alleged that the Committee is working with potential whistleblowers and informants who are providing intel to the Committee that substantiates crimes on the part of Mayorkas and other Homeland Security officials.
“We’ve had some people — they are informants at this point,” Representative Mark Green recently said at an event with the Heritage Foundation.
He notes that they aren’t yet whistleblowers because that would involve special protections for the informants and that it hasn’t risen to that level yet, but he did make it clear that it could rise to that level soon.
“They’re not whistleblowers yet because that triggers a special process, but there’s potentially some, some fraud going on in the department, too.”
Mark Green also alleges that Alejandro Mayorkas has broken at least 11 different laws that should be enough to impeach the Biden official for his willful dereliction of duty.
First, Green plans to make it abundantly clear to Congress that Mayorkas in lying to Congress and outright disobeying direct court orders is an intentional dereliction of duty.
Secondly, Green aims to demonstrate how Mayorkas’s open border policies are effectively clearing the way for criminals to make their way into the United States.
Thirdly, the investigation is going to seek to show just how much Americans have had to suffer under the “leadership” of Joe Biden and Alejandro Mayorkas with unprecedented levels of illegal drugs pouring over the border and costing the lives of Americans.
Next, the Committee plans to demonstrate how the financial impact of Biden’s and Mayorkas’s policies are a waste of American taxpayer dollars. And lastly, the Committee is going to use the intel gained from informants to bolster each of these claims.
An impeachment of Mayorkas isn’t doomed to die in Congress because a number of reports have shown that a number of Democrats and Leftist organizations are growing tired of how poorly Mayorkas is doing.
Should impeachment pass the U.S. House, it’s possible that several Democrat Senators like Joe Manchin and Kyrsten Sinema join in.
And according to a number of polls, there’s serious discontent amongst the American people in how the crisis at the southern border is being handled by the Biden administration at large.
