Sunday BLOG 11-12-23

Verse(s) for today:

My little children, let us not love in word, neither in tongue; but in deed and in truth.

1 John 3:18 KJV

But after that the kindness and love of God our Saviour toward man appeared, not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost;

Titus 3:4-5 KJV

Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and every one that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God.

1 John 4:7 KJV

The Biggest Black Hole in The Universe:

Compare these two sizes of Supermassive Blackholes.

It's insane how big things can get.

[Ryan Brooks]

Leave it to ‘Not The Bee’ to express this in Layman's Language:

At some point if you max out all your credit cards, the lenders will stop sending you new ones. When that happens, not only does the spending spree end, you either have to pay off your debt, or you have to declare bankruptcy if you're unable to pay.

Considering that our government charged $1.5 trillion to its credit card over the last 4 months, and another $1.5 trillion over the next six months; you have to wonder when the credit will run out.

And there are signs that it is on its way.

Yesterday, the federal government issued 30-year treasuries to quickly borrow $24 billion dollars.

Our usual lenders China, Japan, Saudi Arabia, and Russia didn't show up, and 25% of the debt had to be bought by the primary dealers on Wall Street, the buyers of last resort.

Of course, they demand a bigger yield on investment than foreign governments do. Meaning we'll be paying more in interest via our taxes.

You can see the big Wall Street spike at the end of the day on this chart.

And even with the bigger yield, those dealers are saying that there's no way they can keep backing the volume of debt that the government wants to borrow.

Plus who wants to buy bonds today, if the yield is going to be higher tomorrow?

Which is exactly the problem causing banks like Silicon Valley to go under. They're stuck holding 30-year bonds that they should have been able to liquidate at face value, but nobody wants them because new bonds are going to have a higher yield.

The "safe" bond market, where most retirees were told to put their 401Ks and other investments after 65, is on track for its 3rd consecutive year of losses.

Something that has never happened before.

No one but crypto boys expect the U.S. to default, but if even a single Treasury auction fails to sell all the debt, you can sure expect a panic in the markets.

Just the hiccup of yesterday's treasury auction dropped markets nearly 1%.

All of this to say, if The Babylon Bee prophecy about Dave Ramsey putting the federal government on a strict envelope budget plan doesn't come true soon, we might be in for a very wild ride.

WATCH TONIGHT: “M.A.i.D. in Canada”

The presentation starts at 8 PM EST on the National March for Life YouTube channel.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aYi5kT9F1p4

Click on the image to watch our Life on Film screening of MAiD In Canada, Chapter 2: Canada’s Heroes starting at 8 PM EST.

The Kooman Brothers from Unveil Studios are the directors and producers of this film, which is the second episode of a new docuseries exposing the truth about Medical Assistance in Dying (MAiD), which is just a friendly-sounding term for euthanasia or assisted-suicide.

In this chapter, the filmmakers interview several Canadian veterans, including Christine Gauthier, a retired army corporal and a 5-time Paralympic World Champion.

Christine shared her story at this year’s National March for Life in Ottawa, a shocking tale that made headlines around the world.

All she needed was help from the Department of Veterans Affairs to get a wheelchair ramp installed at her home, but what they offered her instead was death.

Just imagine what it’s like to go to a “trusted source” for help like that, only to have them turn around and step on your neck. This is a dark and disturbing betrayal.

I was even more stunned to learn that Christine isn’t the only military vet to be treated this way, and it’s all there in tonight’s Life on Film presentation.

In addition to a screening of MAiD In Canada, filmmaker and speaker Kevin Dunn, from DunnMedia, has an exclusive interview with Matthew and Daniel Kooman about their docuseries and the state of euthanasia and assisted-suicide in Canada.

So, join us tonight at 8 PM EST as Life on Film presents a special screening of MAiD In Canada, Chapter 2:Canada’s Heroes. Here’s the link again.

If the video doesn’t start playing right at show time, try refreshing your browser a few times, which should do the trick.

One final thing …

Please pray for the men and women in our military on this Remembrance Day weekend, and for the souls of those who lost their lives in service to our country.

God bless.

P.S. Plans are coming together for the 2024 National March for Life in Ottawa, which is scheduled for Thursday, May 9th. Make sure to keep an eye out for updates.

P.P.S. Euthanasia is claiming the lives of more and more vulnerable Canadians. The number of state-sanctioned killings has risen to at least 44,958 people since the practice was made legal in 2016. If you’re reading this and you know someone who might be considering euthanasia, please let this person know – their life does have meaning and purpose. Rumors: Rumors: Rumors: Rumors: Rumors: Rumors: Rumors:

This is just ‘Informational’ and YOU

must makeup YOUR OWN MIND

===================

There is a lot of INFORMATION here... Things are happening FAST!

SUMMARY

No REPORT on SUNDAY

IMPORTANT:

TRADING POST – Update: NOVEMBER NEWS LETTER

Dear Trading Post / Barter Club member,

This is our first newsletter. Lots of new things are happening!

1. We want to remind you that our next Trading Post event is upon us, on the third Wednesday of the Wednesday of the month; November 15 starting at 7 pm (doors open at 6) at the Lambeth Legion 7097 Kilbourne...just west of Col. Talbot Rd.

2. Every three months we will have a “Special Attraction” for the night. This

month we’re promoting WINTER CLOTHING for barter or sell for TPCredits.

You can still bring other stuff, and if you have nothing to bring, just wear your

Name Tag with a word for what service you offer (extra name tags at the Welcome

Desk). I know Tiena is bringing boxes of brand-new women’s clothes (never

worn, fresh out of their package) in sizes XL to 3X, plus brand-new shoes and

boots, plus brand-new jewelry and fake nails.

3. You can use “Gaggle.email” to let over a hundred club members know what you want

to trade, or what you’re looking for. Just hit Reply; and tell us. Everyone will automatically see it! Then bring it to the Legion Hall on the third Wednesday! Add your phone number if you want to, but that’s optional. Wear your name tag when you get to the hall. HINT: Tell everyone what you’ll be wearing. Ask to use the microphone if you can’t find the person you’re looking for.

4. We plan to give your Trading Post Credits real value, tradable for silver! That means you can soon buy genuine silver coins from our Trading Post banker Dan Brooks, using Cash and/or Credits. Or you could even buy TP Credits with cash (10 credits for $10 cash) in order to beat inflation (our credits won’t lose their value among members, while Canadian dollars will lose purchasing power.)

WE’RE DOING INVENTORY SO WE’LL KNOW HOW MANY SILVER COINS WE’LL NEED. PLEASE LET ME KNOW HOW MANY CREDITS YOU HAVE ON YOUR CARD BY EMAILING “CAPTAIN BILLY”. USE THIS PRIVATE EMAIL: tradingpost777@aol.com.

You should have received a 'Gagle-E-Mail' with these instructions... Please provide your TOTAL AVAILABLE 'CREDITS' to 'Captain Billy' as soon as possible... Thank you!

Last month Dan sold silver coins for $45 each cash, no credits accepted. In future months he will accept a combination of cash and credits. When the price of silver and other stuff increases, we club members don’t have to raise the prices of our goods and services because our credits will still have the same value for each other.

5. To prevent inflation of the value of our Trading Post Credit “Dollars”, we are not giving free credits to each member who shows up every month, but we’ll do it on special months to be announced or at special retail store events where you can spend the credits like cash. We’ll let you know by Gaggle.email. New members get 20 credits when they sign up.

6. The “pop up” Food Bank starts this month. Use your TP Credits to buy produce grown by local community gardeners. Thanks to Rose Daypuck for picking, it up this month. Look for her table and maybe volunteer to go with her next month to help bring more.

7. I just read this warning from the North American Electric Reliability Corp.

Two-thirds of North America could face power shortages this winter -NERC (msn.com)

It might be a good idea if we prepared for it, yes? Besides having no power at home, there could be no power where you shop, and a big need to meet at the Legion, yes? inside or out 3 days after power is still out? Let’s talk about it, yes?

Patrick Bestall

It’s about more than money, for Heaven’s sake.
