The Parable of Wheat and Tares
The Parable of Wheat and Tares Matthew chapter thirteen marks a transition in the ministry of the Lord Jesus. The Pharisees accused Jesus of performing His miracles by the power of Satan (Matthew 12:22-27). After this event, Jesus began teaching in parables (Matthew 13:34-35). The Disciples asked Jesus why He began teaching in parables and He explained that they had been given the knowledge of the mysteries of the Kingdom, but unbelievers will not comprehend (Matthew 13:11-13). Christians, as disciples of Jesus, have been given this same knowledge. Praise His name!
Beginning in verse twenty-four of chapter thirteen, Jesus gave the Disciples, and Christians, the Parable of Wheat and Tares. A man sowed wheat in his field, but an enemy came at night and sowed tares, an unproductive weed that looks like wheat. This is a picture of the Lord’s “field,” the world. The farmer in the parable told his workers to allow the weeds to remain until the harvest. The weeds would then be collected and burned, and then the wheat would be gathered into the barn.
Later in Matthew 13:37, Jesus explained the parable. Jesus is the farmer, the field is the world, the good seed are children of the Kingdom, the enemy is the devil, the bad seed are the children of the devil and the reapers are the Lord’s angels. This parable will be fulfilled at the end of the age (Matthew 13:40). “ … end of the world.” (aion (age) – Strong’s G165).
This event is prophesied to occur at the end of the Millennial Kingdom (Revelation 20:7-9). It is difficult to conceive of people living under the peace of the Lord Jesus for 1,000 years, and then rebelling against Him. But that is exactly what this passage describes. Satan is loosed from the abyss. He gathers all his evil children from over all the earth, and they march against Jerusalem, “the camp of the saints and the beloved city.” Then the prophesied burning will occur with fire from Heaven.
Following this passage is the great judgment of the Lord, and the “second death” for those whose names are not written in the Book of Life. The next thing the Apostle John saw was the new Heavens and new Earth. After the children of the devil are burned, the children of the Kingdom are gathered into the new, wonderful Heaven (the barn), as told by Jesus in the parable.
At this point, most Believers are in agreeance. But there are doctrines that cause different understandings of Scripture.
· Preterists believe that the Tribulation occurred at the destruction of Jerusalem at 70 A.D., and therefore we are in the Millennial Kingdom now.
· Post-Millennialists believe that we will go through the Tribulation, or perhaps the Tribulation is figurative, and we are now in the Kingdom awaiting the Rapture into Heaven, if I have this straight.
· A-Millennialists believe there is no millennium. It is figurative and not literal. A-Millennialists await the coming of the Lord Jesus, which they believe will be the Rapture of the Church.
The Rapture is understood to be when the Lord Jesus calls us Home to Heaven. These doctrines noted above share some common beliefs:
· The Church must work to make the world better and better for the Lord to return. The return of the Lord depends on the works of man.
· The promises made by the Lord to Israel have been applied to the Church. The Church has replaced Israel. This is Replacement Theology.
· As the Church conquers the world and reigns supreme, the world will get better and better.
· The Word of God is understood on a spiritual or figurative basis, rather than a literal basis. This allows broad interpretation of the principles and promises found in the Bible.
The Lord Jesus declared that the Gospel would be preached to all nations, and then the end would come (Matthew 24:14). He said nothing about the Church conquering the world. Jesus delineated between human political authorities and activities, and the authority of God in Luke 20:25:
“Render therefore unto Caesar the things which be Caesar's, and unto God the things which be God's.”
The Apostle Paul said the Last Days would be a perilous time (II Timothy 3:1). The word “perilous” is chalepos in Greek. (Strong’s G5467) It is defined as harsh, fierce, savage. Paul then went on to list nineteen negative, even demonic, characteristics of mankind at that time. Paul’s description does not sound like the Church will reign triumphant.
Praise the Lord for His mercy and grace toward us. He who spoke the world into existence can achieve His perfect will. He is the victor! Praise Him always and forever!

This investigation is based on original research and writing by A.A. Murray, a contributing writer with the Concerned Citizens Association of London (CCAL).Murray’s comprehensive document — “How Global Networks Shape Our Municipal Policies” — traced years of municipal decisions, funding agreements, and international partnerships that have quietly reshaped local governance in Canada.

Awaiting the Supreme Court Decision That Could ‘Completely Erase’ the ‘Civil Right Movement’s Crowning Achievement’

A set of Supreme Court decision days, beginning Friday, could feature a body blow to the United States’ multiracial democracy.
Louisiana v. Callais “could completely erase all, or most, of the gains of the civil rights movement’s crowning achievement,” Wendy Weiser, vice president for democracy at the Brennan Center, told reporters Thursday.
The Court could use the case to shred what remains of the Voting Rights Act, hobbling the section of the law under which voting rights groups challenge district maps that dilute minority voters. Prior to the Act’s passage, Black voting power and political representation, particularly in the South, was all but nonexistent. The right has worked for years to return to that place, and, after more than a decade of chipping away at voter protections, the Court seemed poised during October oral arguments to finish the job.
All three branches of government are currently working in tandem to unravel voting protections and impose new restrictions, just months before a midterm cycle Republicans fear will go poorly for them. In addition to the Court likely killing what remains of the Voting Rights Act, congressional Republicans have coalesced behind the SAVE Act to add onerous proof of citizenship and photo identification requirements nationwide. Only the Senate filibuster stands in the way of its passage.
If the SAVE Act gets to President Trump, Weiser said, it would be “the first time the U.S. Congress passed a voter suppression law.”
The House is also set to vote on the Make Elections Great Again Act, which is even more pernicious and would ban universal mail-in voting, counting ballots after Election Day and ranked-choice voting.
Meanwhile, the Trump administration is trying to impose voter restrictions via executive action (unsuccessfully, so far), has been the primary engine behind pushing red states to redistrict and raided the Fulton County, Georgia election office. Allies have urged Trump to deploy ICE or the military to polling places, a scheme transparently aimed at intimidating Democratic voters into staying home.
Fair Fight’s Lauren Groh-Wargo cited an old episode of Steve Bannon’s podcast Thursday, where he and a guest ticked off the three ways Republicans had to manipulate elections to guarantee one-party rule in the United States: execute mid-decade redistricting, gut Section 2 of the Voting Rights Act and tinker with the census.
When Louisiana v. Callais comes down, as soon as Friday, Bannon and co. may have come closer to realizing their vision.
It Could Also Be the Tariffs Ruling
Court-watchers have cycled through breathless anxiety to anticlimactic comedown since late last year, waiting for a major Court decision on the legality of Trump’s indiscriminate spray of tariffs. The tariffs stretch the limits of executive power, have serious economic ramifications and, potentially, array the right-wing Court majority in opposition to a president it is much more comfortable supporting.
Alito Eying the Exits?
It’s become conventional wisdom that Justice Samuel Alito will step down at the end of this Court term for a reason: Republicans fear that they’ll lose control of the Senate. If they do, the 75-year-old Alito might have to hang on until at least 2028 for another right-wing judge to get confirmed in his place — even longer if Democrats win either the White House or the Senate.
Add to that another fairly obvious signal: Alito has a book coming out in October (a favored gambit of older political figures to get out ahead of the legacy-defining), and that his wife Martha-Ann has been musing in public over him getting “free of this nonsense” since at least 2024.
The only possible motivation for Alito to stay is the megalomania that drives members of Congress to cling to their seats until they die. But he knows better than anyone that his vision of America is only possible if the Court stays in the grip of the right, and that requires clearing the way for a young justice crafted in his image.
…And Is Thomas?
The calculus that applies to Alito applies equally to his 77-year-old brother-in-ideology. Thomas isn’t writing a book, as far as I know, leaving us without one of Alito’s major tells. But if Thomas doesn’t also depart this summer, he’ll be taking quite an actuarial gamble.

A Remedy for our Schools
The True Lever of Change: Withdraw the Funding
Talking will not stop this machine. Bureaucracies running on taxpayer money reform only when that money disappears. The most powerful, lawful act a parent can take is to pull their child out of the public system and let the numbers collapse the funding formula.
Public schools in Canada are financed on a per‑pupil basis—roughly $9,000–$14,000 per student depending on province. When a child leaves, that funding evaporates next fiscal year. Budgets shrink. Programs vanish. Pink slips start printing.
And who gets them? Look carefully—it’s not “a few administrators.”
It’s an entire economic ecosystem whose pay cheques rest upon each enrolled child:

When enrollment drops, each of these groups must fight for a shrinking pool of funds. Mortgage payments suddenly matter more than ideology. Once livelihoods are threatened, silence breaks: they begin quietly contacting their provincial
Members of Parliament (MPs), Members of Provincial Parliament (MPPs in Ontario), and Members of the Legislative Assembly (MLAs elsewhere) to demand reform. It becomes personal—and that is when real political change begins.
Withdrawing your child isn’t retreat. It’s economic civil disobedience, executed peacefully but effectively.

The Four‑Pronged Path Forward
1. Disband the Human Rights Tribunals (Provincial/Territorial + Federal)Each province runs its own tribunal; Ottawa operates the Canadian Human Rights Tribunal.
· Contact your provincial attorney general/justice minister and every MPP or MLA.
· Demand repeal or absorption into the regular court system with full Charter protections.
· Message: “No votes for parties that uphold star‑chamber tribunals.”
2. Purge “Subjective Emotion” Language from Law (Both Provincial and Federal)Phrases like “hurt feelings,” “offense,” “dignity injury,” or “hate” must be removed; statutes must require demonstrable material harm.
· Email or write to your MP, MPP/MLA, and justice committee members.
· Insist that only direct incitement to violence—not unpopular opinion—be criminalized.
3. Apply Financial Pressure Through Withdrawal (Local / Provincial)
· Notify school boards in writing that you removed your child because of ideological overreach.
In your email, include your school principal, vice-principal (if there is one), secretary, and every single teacher that teaches your child. Also let all these people know that you’re organizing other parents to do the same, creating homeschool co-ops, micro-schools, and private learning pods. This makes all these people aware they now have skin in the game and their jobs will soon be at risk if the status quo remains.
Let them know that silence might cost them their jobs, and that a private email to various politicians to make changes might avoid this.
· Encourage homeschooling co‑ops, micro‑schools, and private learning pods with other parents.
4. Build Independent Alternatives for Childcare and Learning (Community)
· Form local parent co‑ops, share tutoring costs, pool teaching expertise.
· Use free resources like Khan Academy, Ontario e‑Learning, OpenTexts, and ClassicalU.
· Hire displaced teachers who actually want to teach truth, logic, and literacy, not dogma.
The Institutional Paradox
Tribunals and unions cloak themselves in virtue while suffocating dissent. They weaponize empathy into compliance, turning opinion into offense. Each ruling deepens social division and endangers the community they claim to defend.
The LGBTQ movement, once a plea for tolerance, has been captured by bureaucracies that require perpetual grievance to justify their existence. Every new tribunal decision, every new “awareness day,” feeds cultural fatigue and, eventually, backlash.
Societies that legislate feelings do not become kinder; they become brittle.
Email your School Board Trustees, Superintendent, and Principal (and every teacher that teaches your child)

Dear [Trustee or Principal Name],
This letter serves as notice that I am withdrawing my child [Name] from the [Name of School] as of [Date].
I can no longer support a system that promotes ideology over education and punishes citizens for lawful speech. While many good teachers remain, the system they serve has been overtaken by political activism and enforced conformity.
Please record this withdrawal as a conscious act of protest against Human Rights Tribunal overreach and the erosion of free expression.

Subject: Restore Due Process — Tie School Funding to Performance, Not Ideology
Dear Premier [Name] and Minister [Name],
I am part of a growing group of parents pulling our children from the public system because it no longer reflects educational fairness or accountability. When classrooms become vehicles for activism rather than learning, enrollment will continue to fall—and so will your tax base.
We insist that per‑pupil funding formulas remain transparent, that ideological content be removed from curriculum, and that tribunals with power over speech be dismantled.
Until then, my family will fund independent alternatives that respect open inquiry.
