AS I Reflect


As I reflect on God's reflection on our worse failures, and His call to His People.

Know that this is a reflection of my heart over my life and the worse of my (sins) failures before the Living God.

Before men there is no hope, and absolutely they would wag their heads (isn't that is what people will be doing in hell) and scream all kinds of insults.

But before a forgiving God, as I put that life of the past behind me.

 

I was listening to David Jeremiah's devotional this morning, and praising God that He does not have a heart of condemnation but of encouragement.

Turn to me you sinners and be converted.

Because lets face it every day we are battling with sin that would commit us to hell if it were not for the 'Grace of God'.

Listen to the word, Ezekiel 16:49 "Behold, this was the guilt of your sister Sodom: she and her daughters had pride, excess of food, and prosperous ease, but did not aid the poor and needy."

Are we not all guilty of that!  And almost every day.

So my hope is not in mankind but the Grace of the Lord, because that is where we need to be every day.

 

We need to be in a place of encouragement to a fallen brother, or a hopeless street person.

But unfortunately, as the scripture states 'your sister Sodom'.

Interestingly we all thought that they are most heinous of sinners and called her sister to those who were walking in that day followers of God.

 

Why was Sodom referred in Ezekiel to Israel's sister?

According to Scholars these were arrogant, overfed and unconcerned and we likewise can become the same.

Israel was not living the life God had commanded them to be the light of the world.

That is why we need to be at the same point, reflecting beyond our own view point to God's every day.

 

And WHY IS GOD causing the WEST to fall at this time?

Are we deeply concerned about those who lives are shattered?

 

These are all thoughts of reflection, from what David Jeremiah spoke from the Scriptures.

And So, I Reflect as well…there is none righteous before the Living God.

So, we Praise His Name and give thanks for His Goodness to us.

Swiss Bishops ‘strongly reject’ Conversion Therapy for homosexual, ‘transgender’ individuals

The Swiss bishops claimed that practices aiming to change someone’s sexual inclination or gender identity ‘contradict the dignity of the person as the image of God’ in scandalous comments.


(LifeSiteNews) — The Swiss Bishops’ Conference (SBK) announced Tuesday that it is “strongly” opposed to conversion measures which seek to align one’s sexual inclination or “gender identity” with one’s God-given sex.

The Swiss bishops issued their statement in support of a conversion measure ban for children and young adults that has been proposed in the Swiss Parliament. As the bill explains, conversion measures, which are “also known as so-called ‘conversion therapy’ or ‘homo healing’ — aim to ‘repolar’ the homosexual predisposition of a person into a heterosexual one or to change the gender identity of affected persons.”

The Catechism of the Catholic Church clearly states:

“Basing itself on Sacred Scripture, which presents homosexual acts as acts of grave depravity, tradition has always declared that ‘homosexual acts are intrinsically disordered.’ They are contrary to the natural law. They close the sexual act to the gift of life. They do not proceed from a genuine affective and sexual complementarity. Under no circumstances can they be approved.” (CCC 2357)


The Church has always taught that homosexual inclinations are objectively disordered and that homosexual acts are gravely sinful, while calling all people — regardless of their attractions — to chastity and holiness. No amount of “synodal discernment,” personal testimony, or pastoral reframing can change this divinely revealed moral truth.

“The SBK strongly rejects conversion measures,” the bishops declared in their Tuesday statement. “They are not compatible with a pastoral mandate based on acceptance, veracity and protection of the person. In the religious context, such practices can become spiritual abuse when people are shamed, threatened, or manipulated in the name of God.”


“Practices that aim to change or suppress sexual orientation, gender identity, or gender expression contradict the dignity of the person as the image of God and can cause significant harm,” said the SBK. 

The Swiss bishops thus suggest that the homosexual orientation and “transgender” identities are not intrinsically disordered but are even good, in contradiction to Catholic doctrine, which declares that the homosexual inclination is “objectively disordered.” 


The Catechism of the Catholic Church states: “Basing itself on Sacred Scripture, which presents homosexual acts as acts of grave depravity, tradition has always declared that ‘homosexual acts are intrinsically disordered.’” Pretending or believing that one is a member of the opposite sex is also disordered and was long widely recognized as a mental illness or a fetish.


The Swiss bishops’ statement could even suggest that the homosexual orientation and confused “gender identities” are preferable to the natural sexual orientation and identity. If homosexuality and heterosexuality were merely morally equal, neutral alternatives, there is no reason one should be opposed to someone’s free choice to seek out one of the alternatives.


Moreover, both homosexual relationships and transgender interventions inflict physical violence, by surgical mutilation, for example. Conversion therapy, by contrast, aside from being freely chosen, largely consists of counseling to overcome unwanted homosexual feelings or find acceptance with one’s true sex, the effectiveness of which is backed by studies as well as testimony from those who have benefited.


The Swiss bishops thus are logically inconsistent, besides radically contradicting Catholic teaching. The Swiss bill itself is explicitly open to “medically indicated measures for gender realignment,” demonstrating a double standard in favor of measures that oppose one’s own natural sex.

If passed, the law would ban for minors and young adults “all measures that are aimed at a change (‘polarity change’) or suppression of sexual orientation, gender identity or gender expression (SOGIE).”


The justification given for the Swiss Parliament’s proposed conversion ban for minors is that it “views homosexuality and transidentity as ‘diseases’” and allegedly “can demonstrably lead to great suffering, psychological damage up to suicidality for those affected and have no therapeutic benefit.”


Opponents of “conversion” or “reparative” therapy commonly elicit opposition to the practice by invoking fringe and long-since-outdated practices such as electric shock and other forms of physically harmful interventions which are no longer practiced today.

Moreover, homosexuals and those with gender dysphoria have significantly higher baseline levels of psychological problems, including depression and anxiety, which may obscure the outcomes of any intervention they are involved in.


Malta, Germany, France, and Greece already have national conversion therapy bans, and similar draft laws are being prepared in Belgium, Ireland, the Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, and Spain.

In the U.S., while more than 20 states have enacted conversion therapy bans, the March 2026 Supreme Court opinion Chiles v. Salazar ruled against Colorado’s ban, citing First Amendment rights violations. The decision may affect the enforcement of the other states’ conversion therapy bans.

Hasan Piker publicly identifies pro-CCP tycoon Singham as Fankroller behind far-Left Nonprofit Network

A federal subpoena aimed at left-wing influencer Hasan Piker and CodePink co-founder Medea Benjamin has pried open a door the far left would rather keep shut, and Piker himself walked through it. During a six-hour livestream on Twitch, the self-described Marxist named American tech tycoon Neville Roy Singham as the money behind a web of nominally charitable organizations that function, in Piker's own telling, as vehicles for "political movements."


The Treasury Department's Office of Foreign Assets Control issued an administrative subpoena to Piker and Benjamin for possibly violating U.S. sanctions against doing business with the Communist Party of Cuba. The two traveled to the island nation in March as part of what Fox News Digital reported was a "transnational convergence of communists in an international 'convoy.'" Both have publicly defended the trip as a "humanitarian mission to help the people of Cuba."


But it is Piker's candid remarks about Singham, delivered roughly 37 minutes into his Monday livestream, titled "FEDS ARE AFTER ME", that may prove far more consequential than the Cuba trip itself. For the first time, a figure inside the far-left ecosystem publicly acknowledged what congressional investigators and journalists have been documenting for months: that Singham's nonprofit network exists to do political work, not charity.


Piker says the quiet part out loud

Piker told his audience that the real target of the federal investigation is Singham and the organizations he funds. As Piker put it:

"I think that ultimately the target is probably Singham and his operation from PSL to ANSWER Coalition to CodePink, like anything that he has ever financed."

He went further, describing Singham's role in blunt terms that cut against the charitable veneer these groups present to the IRS and the public:


"Not sure how much money he has now, but he's been a funding vehicle for a lot of political movements in the country, like a lot of activism, and they hate that s***, so they're trying to jam them up."

That word, "political movements", matters. Federal nonprofit tax law places strict limits on the amount of political activity charities can conduct. Organizations that receive tax-exempt status under Section 501(c)(3) are barred from engaging in partisan political campaigns and sharply restricted in lobbying. If Singham's nonprofits are functioning as political operations, as Piker's own description suggests, their tax-exempt status is a legal problem, not just a rhetorical one.


Piker framed the federal scrutiny as an assault on free expression. "It's like totally f***ing ridiculous to try and stop the political advocacy of an American citizen," he said, adding that Singham "is an American citizen. He lives in China now and he's a centimillionaire. I think he has almost a billion dollars."


$278 million through six nonprofits

Fox News Digital published a five-part investigation in March documenting the scope of Singham's funding network. The findings paint a picture of a man who sold his technology company, Thoughtworks, for an estimated $785 million in 2017, married CodePink co-founder Jodie Evans that same year, and then began building a network of shell corporations and nonprofit organizations from his adopted base in Shanghai.


Since 2017, Singham has funneled approximately $278 million into six U.S.-based nonprofits. The largest recipient was the Justice and Education Fund Inc., which took in $68.7 million and, Fox News reported, funnels money to anonymous projects overseas. The People's Forum, a hub for communist organizing in New York City, received $22.44 million. Tricontinental Ltd., described as a pro-communist think tank, received $16.76 million.


CodePink itself received $1.33 million. BreakThrough BT Media, characterized as a propaganda arm, took in roughly $1.1 million. The organizations share office space and leadership, and they have operationally participated in a transnational network of approximately 2,000 organizations, most promoting pro-China messaging and causes aligned with the Chinese Communist Party.


Fox News reported that these groups organized, coordinated, and staffed many of the most divisive anti-U.S. street protests the nation has seen over the past decade. They deployed rapid-response teams to protest U.S. government actions, a level of coordination that goes well beyond what most Americans picture when they think of a tax-exempt charity.


The pattern is not unique to Singham's network. Socialist groups with foreign-linked financiers have been opening activist hubs across the country, raising persistent questions about where the money comes from and what it buys.


From Shanghai, praise for Beijing's 'new world order'

Singham's ideological commitments are not a matter of speculation. In November 2025, he appeared at a conference at the Golden Tulip Hotel in Shanghai, where he praised Chinese President Xi Jinping and the Chinese Communist Party's vision for a "new world order." He has lived in China since selling Thoughtworks, operating what amounts to a foreign-based influence network aimed squarely at American domestic politics.

Four congressional committees, the Senate Judiciary Committee, House Judiciary Committee, House Oversight Committee, and House Ways and Means Committee, have examined aspects of Singham's funding network. Investigators have focused on whether organizations receiving charitable tax benefits engaged in political activism beyond the scope permitted under federal law.


The question is straightforward: Can an American citizen living in Shanghai pour hundreds of millions of dollars into U.S. nonprofits that function as political organizing machines, enjoy tax-exempt status, and face no accountability? Piker's own words suggest the answer the left has been giving is yes, until now.


The Cuba trip that triggered the subpoena

The OFAC subpoena centers on the March trip to Cuba. U.S. sanctions restrict Americans from doing business with the Communist Party of Cuba, and OFAC enforces those restrictions. Piker and Benjamin participated in what was described as an ideologically charged international convoy, not a quiet aid delivery but a political event organized around solidarity with a communist regime.


Both have cast the trip as humanitarian. Neither has responded to requests for comment from Fox News Digital. It remains unclear whether OFAC has made a formal determination that sanctions were violated or whether the subpoena is purely investigative.

The New York Post also reported on the federal investigation into Piker and Benjamin over the Cuba aid convoys, confirming the scope of the probe.

The Cuba convoy was not an isolated episode. Cuban dissidents have blasted similar leftist convoys as ideological tourism, arguing that they serve the regime's propaganda needs while ordinary Cubans suffer under blackouts and repression.


A Marxist influencer with a $2 million home

Piker's public persona is built on contradiction. He espouses Marxism from a $2 million home in West Hollywood, California. He bragged during the same period about buying a suit from a photoshoot in New York City. He is the nephew of Cenk Uygur, the Turkish-American political operative who founded the Young Turks YouTube channel and co-founded Justice Democrats, the organization that helped elect Representatives Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, Ilhan Omar, and Rashida Tlaib.


After the subpoena news broke, Piker devoted at least two full livestreams to condemning the investigation, describing it as politically motivated and casting himself as a victim. He characterized the federal government's interest in Singham's network as an attempt to "hit him on anything and everything they possibly can."

That framing, the government as persecutor, the Marxist millionaire as martyr, is familiar. It is the same rhetorical move the far left deploys whenever accountability catches up with its institutional allies. The investigation is never about the conduct. It is always about the motive of the investigators.


Meanwhile, Medea Benjamin and CodePink D.C. Coordinator Olivia DiNucci were photographed protesting outside the White House in support of the Islamic Republic of Iran, with DiNucci painting her hands red to vilify U.S. military action. The overlap between pro-communist organizers, Iran sympathizers, and Maduro allies is a recurring pattern in far-left political networks, one that federal investigators are only now beginning to trace in full.


The nonprofit question Congress must answer

The core issue is not whether Hasan Piker bought a nice suit or whether Medea Benjamin waved a sign outside the White House. The core issue is whether a man living in Shanghai, praising Xi Jinping's vision for the world, can use American nonprofit tax law as a shield for a quarter-billion-dollar political operation, and whether the organizations that take his money are charities in any meaningful sense.


Piker answered that question himself. He called Singham "a funding vehicle for a lot of political movements." He named the organizations: PSL, ANSWER Coalition, CodePink. He did not call them charities. He did not describe their work as humanitarian. He described a political operation, funded by a man who lives in China, aimed at reshaping American politics from the left.


Four congressional committees are now looking at the same network. OFAC has issued subpoenas. Democratic lawmakers have their own history of engaging with communist leadership, a pattern that makes the political class reluctant to press too hard on groups like CodePink or the People's Forum.

But the facts Piker laid out on his own livestream make the case harder to ignore. When the beneficiary of a foreign-funded influence network goes on camera and describes it as exactly that, the nonprofit veneer is no longer plausible. It is a legal fiction, and one that American taxpayers have been subsidizing.

When the left's own loudest voices admit the game, the rest of us should take them at their word.

Biden files suit against DOJ to block release of special counsel audio recordings

Former President Joe Biden sued the Justice Department on Tuesday to stop the release of audio recordings and transcripts from interviews he gave to a ghostwriter for his 2017 memoir, recordings that became central evidence in Special Counsel Robert Hur's investigation into Biden's mishandling of classified documents.


The lawsuit, filed in a Washington, D.C. federal court, asks a judge to declare the House Judiciary Committee's request for the materials "pretextual and invalid" and to permanently bar the Justice Department from turning them over. The DOJ had planned to release the materials by June 15 to both the committee and the Heritage Foundation, which filed a Freedom of Information Act request for the same records.

The move raises an obvious question: if Hur's probe cleared Biden of criminal liability, why is the former president fighting so hard to keep the public from hearing what he actually said?


What Hur found, and what he didn't charge

The recordings at issue date to 2016 and 2017, when Biden sat for private conversations with his biographer. Those sessions informed his memoir, which detailed his decision to seek the presidency while his eldest son, Beau Biden, battled brain cancer.

When Hur's office investigated Biden's handling of classified materials after his time as vice president, those recordings became part of the evidentiary record. Hur's 2023 probe ultimately declined to bring charges, but the rationale was hardly exonerating. The special counsel determined that Biden's memory lapses would make it difficult to prove he had acted willfully in retaining classified documents.


That finding generated enormous public interest. Hur's written report described a man whose recall was so unreliable that a jury would struggle to convict him. The audio recordings could reveal exactly how those lapses sounded in real time, which may explain why Biden's legal team wants them locked away.

The broader pattern of Biden-era federal agencies suppressing or delaying the release of sensitive investigative materials makes the former president's lawsuit all the more striking. When it served the previous administration's interests, transparency took a back seat. Now that Biden is out of office, the instinct to conceal persists.


Heritage Foundation, House Judiciary Committee, and the FOIA fight

Two separate entities sought the recordings. The Heritage Foundation, the conservative policy organization, filed a formal FOIA request. The House Judiciary Committee pursued the materials through its own congressional channels. Both were scheduled to receive the records on June 15.


Biden's lawsuit targets both tracks. By asking the court to label the committee's request pretextual, his attorneys are essentially arguing that congressional oversight of a completed special counsel investigation serves no legitimate purpose.

That is a bold claim for a former president whose administration spent years insisting that congressional subpoenas and document demands were sacred instruments of democratic accountability, at least when they were aimed at political opponents.

The DOJ's willingness to comply with the release before Biden intervened is itself noteworthy. Under the current administration, the department apparently saw no legal barrier to turning over the materials. It took a private lawsuit from the former president to throw the brakes.


A double standard on classified documents

The contrast with how the Biden-era DOJ treated classified-document disputes involving former President Donald Trump is impossible to ignore. In that case, federal agents executed a search warrant at Mar-a-Lago and pursued aggressive legal action. Internal doubts about the legal basis for that raid have since come to light. A newly disclosed memo revealed that a senior Biden DOJ official questioned the legal foundation for the FBI's search even as the operation moved forward.


Trump faced indictment. Biden got a pass, and a public description of his cognitive decline as the reason prosecutors chose not to charge him. Now Biden wants to make sure the American public never hears the evidence that led to that conclusion.

The asymmetry speaks for itself. One former president had his home raided and his records seized. The other is suing to keep his own interview tapes sealed after a special counsel already decided not to prosecute.

Meanwhile, ongoing revelations about how federal law enforcement handled Trump-related investigations continue to surface. FBI Director Kash Patel's discovery of a hidden document-destruction room at bureau headquarters has only deepened public skepticism about whether the agencies that investigated Trump operated with the same standards they applied, or failed to apply, to Biden.


What the lawsuit doesn't explain

Biden's filing leaves several questions unanswered. The lawsuit does not appear to cite a specific constitutional or statutory privilege that would override both a FOIA request and a congressional demand. No case number or detailed legal theory has been made public from the filing itself.

It remains unclear whether Biden's legal team has sought a temporary restraining order or preliminary injunction to halt the June 15 release while the case is litigated. Without emergency relief, the DOJ could proceed on schedule.

The court has not yet ruled on any aspect of the case.


There is also the question of how the ghostwriter recordings ended up in Hur's evidentiary file in the first place. Biden sat for those interviews as a private citizen in 2016 and 2017. Their inclusion in a classified-documents probe suggests investigators believed the conversations contained relevant admissions or context about Biden's handling of sensitive government materials.

If the recordings are as benign as Biden's legal posture implies, releasing them would settle the matter. The decision to litigate instead suggests the opposite.


Transparency for thee, not for me

The former president's lawsuit arrives at a moment when the current administration has moved aggressively to declassify and release materials related to prior investigations, including records that cast doubt on the integrity of earlier probes. The political class that spent years demanding total transparency about Trump now has one of its own fighting in court to keep the public in the dark.

The Supreme Court has closed the door, at least for now, on what Florida officials hoped would be a reckoning over state-issued commercial driver’s licenses for individuals who lack legal status in this country.


The justices on Tuesday declined to hear Florida’s lawsuit against California and Washington state, a case that strikes at the heart of ongoing tensions between how red and blue states approach immigration enforcement. At issue is whether states possess the authority to grant commercial driving privileges to truckers who are neither citizens nor legal permanent residents and who, in some cases, cannot speak English.


This legal battle has its roots in tragedy. Last year, a fatal crash in Florida claimed three lives. The driver, Harjinder Singh of India, stands accused of making an illegal U-turn that caused the collision. Singh was operating with a valid California commercial driver’s license and had previously obtained one from Washington state as well.


Florida’s Republican leadership argued that California and Washington, both under Democratic control, were brazenly flouting federal immigration law. The state’s legal team asked the nation’s highest court to establish definitively that states lack the power to issue commercial driver’s licenses to those without proper immigration status.

The Supreme Court typically handles appeals from lower courts, but it maintains the constitutional authority to hear original cases where states sue one another directly. Florida was asking the justices to invoke this rarely used power.


The court’s order was brief, offering no explanation for the rejection. However, Justices Clarence Thomas and Samuel Alito registered their dissent, as they customarily do when the court declines such interstate disputes. Both justices maintain that the court has an obligation to hear cases where one state sues another.

The denial leaves unresolved fundamental questions about how states with vastly different approaches to immigration can coexist within our federal system. Florida officials contend that lenient licensing policies in other states create dangers that spill across state lines. When a trucker licensed in California or Washington drives through Florida, the Sunshine State argues it bears the consequences of policies its voters never approved.

Meanwhile, a separate but related battle continues in the federal courts. An appeals court has blocked the Trump administration’s effort to impose stringent new restrictions on which immigrants can obtain commercial driver’s licenses for operating semitrailer trucks or buses. That proposal would have dramatically narrowed eligibility.

The trucking industry faces well-documented driver shortages, and some states have responded by expanding their licensing pools. Critics argue this approach prioritizes filling jobs over public safety and immigration enforcement. Supporters counter that these drivers undergo the same testing and safety requirements as anyone else seeking a commercial license.


The Florida case represents the latest chapter in America’s ongoing struggle to reconcile competing visions of immigration policy when the federal government and individual states pull in different directions. With the Supreme Court declining to intervene, that struggle will continue to play out on highways and in courtrooms across the nation.

Senior Ukrainian Commander Sees Imminent 'Turning Point' in War


Ukraine has a ‌six-month window in which to seize the battlefield initiative from Russia and strengthen its hand for peace talks, a senior commander told Reuters, predicting a "turning point" was imminent after more than four years of war.

Russian forces have made grinding gains since their full-scale invasion of Ukraine in February 2022, but the advances have slowed this year and Ukrainian troops are increasing pressure on the battlefield to try to push them back.


Brigadier General Andriy Biletsky, who commands Ukraine's Third Army Corps, one of Ukraine's most respected fighting forces, told Reuters in an interview that he believes Russia's army is exhausted and incapable of making major breakthroughs.

If Ukraine's military ‌can build and maintain momentum over several months, it can gain the initiative along the frontline and push Russia to abandon its designs on the last part of ​the Donetsk region in eastern Ukraine that it does not yet occupy, he said.


"I believe the next six to nine months are a turning point," Biletsky said at an undisclosed underground location in the northeastern Kharkiv region.

"More precisely, I think the next six are the most critical," he said.

The issue of who ⁠controls Donetsk has been a stumbling block in U.S.-backed peace talks that have stalled, with Russia wanting the entire region and Ukraine refusing to withdraw from territory that Moscow's troops have ​been unable to conquer.

"We need to define those directions where we can improve our positions, take some strategic points, and then speak with the Russians from a position of strength - ⁠not weakness - about a truly stable truce," said Biletsky, a right-wing political leader who founded the battle-hardened Azov Battalion and now commands tens of thousands of troops.


"From a military point of view, this is realistic."

Russia's Defense Ministry did not immediately respond to a request for comment for this story. Russian President Vladimir Putin has vowed victory in Ukraine and said this month he thinks the war is nearing an end.

Russia's advances have been complicated by a ‌decision by billionaire Elon Musk to deny Moscow's forces access to his Starlink satellite-based internet service. Kyiv has meanwhile stepped up medium-range drone attacks on Russian air defenses and logistics, helping ​more long-range strikes get ‌through to hit oil and military facilities in Russia.


President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said last week Ukraine had retaken nearly 600 square km (230 square miles) of territory in 2026. Reuters could not independently verify the figure. Moscow currently controls almost one-fifth of Ukrainian territory.

Assessing the military situation, John Helin of ‌the Finland-based Black Bird conflict-analysis group echoed Biletsky in saying fatigue was a problem for Russian forces, while Ukraine's war effort is hampered by a manpower shortage.

"It does seem like, four or five months into this year, it's much more likely that the Russians will get exhausted before the Ukrainian problems come to a breaking point," he told Reuters.


On ⁠Monday, the U.S.-based Institute for the Study of War said Kyiv's forces were now "actively challenging ‌the positional character of the war" and could soon be capable ⁠of staging limited mechanized assaults.

Russian troops are bearing down on eastern Ukraine's "Fortress Belt" where fighting is raging inside the strategic city of Kostiantynivka, its southern end.

The constellation of heavily fortified cities anchors Ukrainian defenses. Capturing it would position Russia ⁠to threaten the rest ⁠of the Donbas.


Biletsky, whose forces hold over one-tenth of the total front line, said his troops were firmly holding the flank around Sloviansk, the belt's northern bastion, and forcing Russia to attack the city head-on.

Such costly assaults have helped drain Russian forces and led ‌to heavy losses of field commanders, he said, in what he described as a professional degradation of Moscow's military.

"The lack of personnel no longer allows them to advance the way they did, for example, a year ago," said Biletsky.


Biletsky said it was too early to draw conclusions from Kyiv's recent success, but that Ukraine could capitalize on it by continuing mid-range attacks and advancing "carefully."

Moscow is "radically losing" in ‌battlefield communications because of Musk's crackdown ​on use of Starlink, Biletsky said.

But he described the ‌sides at parity in evolving technology - with Ukraine leading in unmanned ground vehicles (UGVs) and heavy bomber drones, and Russia winning the race for fiber-optic drones, which cannot be jammed.


A potential blueprint for a modernized Ukrainian army, his corps has led efforts to transform training and integrate new technology such as UGVs as an important part ​of its battlefield strategy.

Biletsky's units lead the way in deploying stealthy kamikaze drones and robots armed with machineguns or rocket launchers to replace significant portions of infantrymen, aiming for 30% by 2027, he said.

The next "revolution" will allow commanders to stage more "creative" combined assault operations while conserving precious troops, Biletsky said.

"It will happen this year, and I think we'll show how ‌our corps is a vivid example of it," he said.

On Tuesday, Andrey Melnik, Ukraine’s envoy to the UN, shared a joint statement – signed by more than 50 nations, including Germany and other EU members, as well as the UK, Canada, and Japan – which condemned Moscow over what it described as “escalating attacks” and “threats by Russia to diplomatic institutions.” 

 

Moscow has never mentioned any plans to target either embassies or any other civilian installations. The statement, however, conspicuously did not mention the US.

At least 21 young women were killed when Ukraine attacked a college dormitory in Starobelsk. Now Russia says that it will retaliate and is warning foreign nationals to leave Kiev immediately, signaling that something much larger may be coming in Ukraine.

This attack is a major turning point in the war. How would any other country tolerate an attack like this? Imagine that this happened on U.S. soil to young women.

Over the weekend, Russia launched a major retaliatory barrage on Kiev and, according to the report, deployed the Oreshnik missile system for the first time in the conflict. Russian officials are now openly warning that broader strikes could follow, particularly against Ukrainian infrastructure and government targets.


European officials claim that they will not leave Kiev despite Moscow’s warnings. I am skeptical of this faux bravado. They will probably be safe and sound wherever Ukrainian President Zelensky hides out.

European leaders have remained silent on the college dorm attack, instead opting to condemn Russia's response. Remember when their favorite phrase was "Putin's unprovoked attacks." And now that there is proof of provocation, they can't see it?

This terrorist attack was backed by Europe and the U.S., so of course they can't see it.

Russia may be ready to escalate the war and devastate Ukraine once and for all, like critics of Russian President Putin have long wanted. Did it have to take 21 dead young women and dozens more wounded for it to come to this?

I read about Premier Ford vs. the Ontario court judge who says the homeless have the same rights to protection from discrimination as do people based on sex, race, religion or disability.  

Ford is now threatening to use the Canadian constitution's "notwithstanding" clause so he can ban homeless encampments regardless of what the courts may say about "homeless rights".

Why don't we just have a referendum so the people of Ontario can decide, rather than lawyers?  It works for Switzerland.

NASA to Begin Construction of Large-scale Moon Base

NASA is beginning construction of a large-scale base at the Moon’s south pole

The agency has already ordered the first landing modules, rovers, and drones to prepare for the astronauts’ arrival.

According to NASA, citing Associated Press, contracts worth hundreds of millions of dollars have already been signed, and four American companies will develop equipment designed to operate in extreme conditions.

For example, Blue Origin will build two lunar landing modules. They will deliver specialized rovers to the surface, while the lunar buggies themselves are being developed by Astrolab and Lunar Outpost.

The first drones will be sent to the Moon by Firefly Aerospace, which already proved its reliability last year. All equipment is expected to arrive before humans. NASA plans the first crewed landing for 2028.


Mission Timeline and Astronaut TrainingThe Artemis program is moving forward according to a clear plan. Preparations for Artemis III will begin next year. Astronauts will train to dock the Orion capsule in Earth orbit. Landing modules from Blue Origin and SpaceX will also be involved.

Main stages of lunar exploration:
