Biden awards Pope Francis the Medal of Freedom, calling him ‘the People’s Pope’:

Outgoing U.S. President Joe Biden awarded Pope Francis the nation's highest civilian honor on Saturday, saying the Pope is 'a light of faith, hope, and love that shine brightly across the world' and mentioning Francis' relationships with 'different faiths.'


VATICAN CITY (LifeSiteNews) — Outgoing U.S. President Joe Biden awarded Pope Francis the nation’s highest civilian honor on Saturday, saying the Pope is “a light of faith, hope, and love that shines brightly across the world.”

 

In a statement issued from the White House on Saturday, Biden’s awarding of the Presidential Medal of Freedom to Pope Francis was made public. The statement read:

Today, President Biden spoke with His Holiness Pope Francis and named him as a recipient of the Presidential Medal of Freedom with Distinction.


The Presidential Medal of Freedom is the Nation’s highest civilian honor, presented to individuals who have made exemplary contributions to the prosperity, values, or security of the United States, world peace, or other significant societal, public or private endeavors. This is the first time that President Biden has awarded the Presidential Medal of Freedom with Distinction.

 

Biden’s laudatory message summarizing the aspects of Francis’ life which had been taken into account for the award cited the Pope’s activism “serving the poor” and his calls for peace and climate change action.

The president also mentioned Francis’ relationships with “different faiths” and styled him “the People’s Pope”:


As a young man, Jorge Bergoglio sought a career in science before faith led him to a life with the Jesuits. For decades, he served the voiceless and vulnerable across Argentina. As Pope Francis, his mission of serving the poor has never ceased. A loving pastor, he joyfully answers children’s questions about God. A challenging teacher, he commands us to fight for peace and protect the planet.


A welcoming leader, he reaches out to different faiths. The first pope from the Southern Hemisphere, Pope Francis is unlike any who came before. Above all, he is the People’s Pope – a light of faith, hope, and love that shines brightly across the world.

A few days prior, Biden had awarded the Presidential Medal of Freedom to a number of people including George Soros and Hillary Clinton.

“These nineteen individuals are great leaders who have made America and the world a better place,” a White House statement read. “They are great leaders because they are good people who have made extraordinary contributions to their country and the world.”

 

Such a decision was, however, widely criticized, with commentators slating Biden’s choice of recipients for the award.

Linking Francis’ reception of the award to Clinton and Soros, former U.S. Nuncio Archbishop Carlo Maria Viganò drew a comparison between the three:

Along with these exponents of the Radical Left, Joe Biden supports the antichristic and criminal Agenda 2030 plan, adherence to woke and LGBTQ+ ideology, gender theory, climate change hysteria, mass vaccinations, abortion and infanticide, and ethnic replacement through uncontrolled immigration.

 

How can one be surprised if among this very select group of medalists is also Jorge Mario Bergoglio, whom the deep state arranged to be elected as head of the deep church precisely to promote the same criminal globalist coup?

Current U.S. Nuncio and Viganò’s successor – Cardinal Christophe Pierre – was in attendance at the White House for a photo shoot with Biden, to present the award to the Pope from afar.

 

Biden had been due to visit Rome and the Vatican City State at the end of last week, but announced January 8 that he had canceled his visit. The brief statement cited the recent devastating fires in California as the reason for Biden remaining in the U.S.

 

The trip was due to be the swan song of Biden’s presidency, as the politician looked to cite his identity of a “Catholic president” one last time and crown his career with a final Papal audience.

Biden last met with Francis briefly in June last year, during Italy’s hosting of the G7 meeting. But it was an October 2021 private audience between the pair which drew the most attention.

 

Emerging from the meeting, Biden asserted that the Pontiff “was happy I’m a good Catholic” and told him to “keep receiving Communion.” Summary press releases from both the White House and the Holy See Press Office briefly noted that the conversation revealed around the “world’s poor,” as well as the “climate crisis” and issues regarding COVID-19 and refugees.

 

However, despite Biden’s prolific political record advocating for abortion and LGBT issues, the topic of abortion apparently was not raised in the meeting. Some observers suggested that if Biden had been told to “keep” receiving Communion, then the topic of abortion must have been discussed.

 

The Catholic Church teaches that abortion is always wrong because it kills an innocent human being, thus violating the Church’s prohibition on murder, a teaching which “remains unchangeable.”

 

“Formal cooperation in an abortion constitutes a grave offense,” reads the Catechism of the Catholic Church. “The Church attaches the canonical penalty of excommunication to this crime against human life.”

Furthermore, the Church’s canon law stipulates that under no circumstances are those who persist in manifest grave sin to receive the Holy Eucharist. “Those who have been excommunicated or interdicted after the imposition or declaration of the penalty and others obstinately persevering in manifest grave sin are not to be admitted to holy communion.”

For many decades our Canadian political establishment has been diminishing and demeaning our rich and proud Canadian heritage, culture, and identity.


Our current Prime Minister has boldly stated that there is not, and never has been, a Canadian identity. Both Liberal and Conservative governments have adopted the falsehoods of a multicultural Canada and have kept the floodgates open to rampant immigration.


With that being said, it is confusing and hypocritical that these same establishment politicians are vigorously opposing and condemning Donal Trump’s recent musing of annexing Canada. Why is it that these same politicians who have expressed derision regarding Canadas culture now boastfully pretend that it needs to be protected from America, but not from the overwhelming flood of Asian immigration?


I am very proud of our Canadian identity, our culture and history and concerned that if we allow our political establishment to continue with its current policies on immigration, education, DEI and many other corrosive social policies Canada and our culture will indeed be extinguished.


Although I am also concerned that annexation by the USA has credible and real consequences, I believe these could be mitigated, and if done respectfully and may be a credible option for Canadians to regain and restore our freedoms and democracy.

Dear President-elect,

I am a former elected representative from Ontario, Canada and I am keenly interested in knowing and learning more regarding your proposal of annexing Canada to become the 51st State.


As you can appreciate, your proposal has caused a significant stir and much commentary from the Canadian political establishment. It has also created some confusion and a stirring of national sentiment which has been absent for many decades.


Before either rejecting or supporting your proposal for annexing Canada far more details are required in order to evaluate the merits.

I believe your proposal would have great appeal to the majority of Canadians if the following were known and enunciated.

1. Not the 51st state, but at a minimum each existing Canadian province be granted statehood. Making at a minimum sixty (60) states. It would also be valuable to sub-divide each of the following provinces, Ontario, Manitoba, Saskatchewan, Alberta, and BC into smaller states. To create 65 states

2. The 3 Canadian territories are also recognized as Territorial governments under the annexation proposals.

3. Each of the new states (former provinces) be required to have a Bi-cameral legislature and elect 2 senators to the USA congress.

4. The current congressional districts of approximately 750,000 be retained for the new Canadian states. The new states with less than this population would still have one congressional district. This would create approximately 55 new congressional districts.

5. Each province be admitted to the Union through a referendum.

6. The establishment of a Bilateral commission with equal representation from each nation to create a report with recommendations on finalizing the terms of Union.


Canada has a rich and proud heritage and culture that remains intact even though it has been undermined for many decades by our political establishment. Any annexation proposal ought to recognize this unique and distinct culture and also seek to mitigate further undermining or diminishment of the Canadian identity.

I trust the above is helpful and I look forward to further public discourse on this important and unprecedented proposal.

Legal Battles

On December 12th I was informed that the Crown is appealing my successful Jordan application which stayed all the criminal charges against me. This legal maneuver has little likelihood of success, but it will continue to keep me in the courts for most of the year. I do not expect the Court of Appeals will here the motion until late summer or early fall and a decision may takes months to deliver.

Fox News accused of feeding questions to Donald Trump

A fixture of Donald Trump’s first term was the anti-Trump book.

Journalists and turncoats that quit the administration cashed in big time as resistance libs lapped any book that fed them stories – true or not – that confirmed all their worst nightmares about Donald Trump.

With Trump set to return to power, members of the press are probing to see if there is still juice left in the anti-Trump book market.

 

POLITICO’s Alex Isenstadt was first out of the gate.

Isenstadt authored Revenge: The Inside Story of Trump’s Return to Power.

The book contains an anecdote about Trump’s preparation for a January 2024 town hall broadcast by Fox News and moderated by anchors Bret Baier and Martha MacCallum.

Isenstadt claimed someone at Fox News fed Trump and his team the questions Baier and MacCallum planned to ask Trump in advance.

 

“About thirty minutes before the town hall was due to start, a senior aide started getting text messages from a person on the inside at Fox. Holy s–t, the team thought. They were images of all the questions Trump would be asked and the planned follow-ups, down to the exact wording. Jackpot. This was like a student getting a peek at the test before the exam started,” Isenstadt wrote.

 

Isenstadt also claimed Trump and his team gained advanced knowledge that Baier and MacCallum “planned to ask Trump if he would divest from his businesses if he won, and whether the party was taking a risk nominating him given his indictments,” and to “press Trump to ‘disavow political violence’” and ask about his focus on “retribution.”

Fox News released a statement saying they had no evidence anyone passed questions to Trump and pointed out that Isenstadt offered no proof to back up his allegations.

 

Nevertheless, Fox said it would conduct an investigation to see if there was any validity to these claims.

“While we do not have any evidence of this occurring, and Alex Isenstadt has conveniently refused to release the images for fact checking, we take these matters very seriously and plan to investigate should there prove to be a breach within the network,” the Fox statement read.

 

Trump spokesman Steven Cheung put out a statement distancing Trump from these allegations.

“President Trump was the most accessible and transparent candidate in American history, and it’s a big reason why he won in historic fashion,” Cheung declared.

 

A source with knowledge of Fox’s internal working told Mediaite that if there was any breach it couldn’t have come from Baier and MacCallum or any of the top members of the editorial team.

“If there was a breach, it was not from Bret or Martha or the top editorial levels of the network and there is a sophisticated and extensive digital footprint of all editorial material,” the source stated.

Israel and the Gaza-based terrorist group Hamas had reached an outline of a ceasefire agreement, The Jerusalem Post reported on Monday. According to the proposed agreement, Hamas would immediately release 33 living hostages while Israel would shut down some of its military operations in the Gaza Strip. Hamas would then continue to release other remaining hostages in phases while Israel would gradually cease its Gaza military operations in corresponding phases. 

 

Has the United States been involved? The tentative agreement comes a week before President-elect Donald Trump was scheduled to take office. Trump has promised that Hamas would be punished if all the remaining hostages in Gaza are not released by the time he gets into office. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Sunday spoke with U.S. President Joe Biden about negotiators’ efforts to obtain the release of the 98 hostages still in Gaza. Netanyahu expressed his gratitude to Biden and President-elect Donald Trump for their support for Israel retrieving its citizens from captivity in Gaza.

Judy Note: On Monday 13 Jan. Joe Biden said he was giving $770 to victims in California who lost everything the fires – that he claimed were caused by Climate Change.

 

The fires were caused by Climate Change? Really? The true problem that fed the still out-of-control fires was obvious: There was no water in fire hydrants or in the water reservoir, long ago monies tax payers allocated for more reservoirs, had never been built – the monies vanished – and the LA Fire Department budget was drastically cut so much so that insurance companies withdrew their home owner policies a few months prior to the fires.

 

And, $770 for people who lost everything? WOW. That’s the same amount Biden gave to Hurricane Helene victims in North Carolina who lost everything, too. Wonder if he’s giving it as a loan, like he did for the North Carolina victims, who had to pay it back within a year or they lost the deed to their property – which many did.

 

After all, North Carolina was obviously a land grab to gain control of valuable mines in the area that Kamala Harris’s husband had a high investment in.

 

Speaking of political involvement in the manmade disasters, it has been confirmed that “Arsonists set multiple fires that led to the massive LA inferno, while state and federal Democrats blocked fire mitigation prior, ensuring their firestorm’s success.
