Trump sets the record straight on Constitution comments, slams the ‘FOOLS’ who’d believe otherwise:
In classic style, former President Donald Trump refused to stand idly by as a narrative was built around his reaction to “The Twitter Files” and he came out swinging against the “FOOLS” who would disagree with his actual point.
On Friday, journalist Matt Taibbi posted his thread on Twitter that began delivering receipts on how the social media platform had evidently worked at the behest of government officials and political organizations to suppress unfavorable stories, including about Hunter Biden’s laptop.
With the uncovered activity standing as evidence of election interference, Trump had issued a statement on Saturday that read in part, “A Massive Fraud of this type and magnitude allows for the termination of all rules, regulations, and articles, even those found in the Constitution.”
As previously reported, corporate media and Democrats used these words to malign the former president, and even Elon Musk, who provided the necessary access for “The Twitter Files,” weighed in, “The Constitution is greater than any President. End of story.”
By Monday, Trump had seen more than enough of the claims that he wanted to eliminate the founding document he strove to uphold during his administration and slammed it as just another in the long line of “HOAXES & SCAMS” perpetuated by “The Fake News.”
“The Fake News is actually trying to convince the American People that I said I wanted to ‘terminate’ the Constitution. This is simply more DISINFORMATION & LIES, just like RUSSIA, RUSSIA, RUSSIA, and all of their other HOAXES & SCAMS,” the former president wrote on Truth Social. “What I said was that when there is ‘MASSIVE & WIDESPREAD FRAUD & DECEPTION,’ as has been irrefutably proven in the 2020 Presidential Election, steps must be immediately taken to RIGHT THE WRONG. Only FOOLS would disagree with that and accept STOLEN ELECTIONS. MAGA!”
To make certain that his meaning was clear, he offered follow-up statements with the first one stating, “SIMPLY PUT, IF AN ELECTIONS IS IRREFUTABLY FRAUDULENT, IT SHOULD GO TO THE RIGHTFUL WINNER OR, AT A MINIMUM, BE REDONE. WHERE OPEN AND BLATANT FRAUD IS INVOLVED, THERE SHOULD BE NO TIME LIMIT FOR A CHANGE!”
While leftists picked up on the president’s remarks as another opportunity to drive talk of “election deniers” and “conspiracy theorists,”conservatives hadn’t doubted the intent of the message and called out corporate media as well for their interpretation of the statement.

Billions of COVID-19 benefits went to ineligible recipients:
Auditor-General Karen Hogan said billions of dollars in ineligible COVID-19 benefit payments are at risk of going uncollected because the federal government is doing a poor job of identifying individuals and businesses that should pay back funds.
The Auditor-General found $4.6-billion in overpayments to ineligible recipients and an additional $27.4-billion that should be investigated further. That includes $15.5-billion for businesses that received the Canada Emergency Wage Subsidy but did not suffer from a significant drop in revenue, the report says.
Additional areas flagged in Hogan’s report include $1.6-billion in Canada Emergency Response Benefit (CERB) payments to 190,254 individuals who quit their jobs, $6.1-million in CERB payments to 1,522 people who were in prison and $1.2-million to 391 dead people. The Auditor-General also urges the government to take a closer look at $2.2-million in CERB payments to 434 children who were under 15 years old at the time of application.
Federal ministers rejected the Auditor-General’s key numbers yesterday, insisting that the final amounts of ineligible payments will be much smaller and that officials are working hard to identify and collect what is owed.

Tom Cotton drops mic on woke Kroger CEO for running to Republicans to save merger from Democrats: 'Best of luck':
If Kroger and Albertsons thought Republicans would rescue their plan to merge, Sen. Tom Cotton (R-Ark.) made it clear last Tuesday that support for the merger among Republicans is anything but certain.
What is the background?
Kroger announced in October plans to acquire Albertsons for $24.6 billion.
The plan was not exactly celebrated. Instead, it triggered immediate antitrust concerns, especially among Democrats who are suspicious of massive corporations. After all, Kroger is the nation's second-largest grocery store chain and Albertsons is the fourth-largest.
If the acquisition were approved, Kroger could potentially rival Walmart.
What happened with Cotton?
At a hearing before Senate Judiciary Subcommittee on Competition Policy, Antitrust, and Consumer Rights last Tuesday, Cotton blasted Kroger CEO Rodney McMullen for running to Republicans for support while at the same time enacting woke corporate policies.
Specifically, Cotton grilled McMullen over a religious discrimination lawsuit the federal government brought against his company for forcing two Arkansas employees to wear a uniform adorned with a rainbow heart. The employees were eventually fired because they refused to wear a uniform with an LGBT symbol on it.
