The Illusion of Process

It should come as a surprise to no one that as we enter June, the Thames Valley District School Board (TVDSB) has once again bypassed its own internal protocols to hoist the “Progress” Pride flag. As we noted in our earlier post today, these flags have appeared at schools across the district without warning, without stated purpose, and without notification of duration—all of which stands in direct violation of Procedure 2033a.


When a school board crafts a policy, it is meant to provide a framework of order and accountability. Yet, when that same board treats its own rules as mere suggestions—enforcing them when it suits their ideological agenda and ignoring them when transparency might invite parental pushback—the entire educational framework is compromised.


A Lesson in Hypocrisy

Schools are, at their core, institutions of learning. We teach our children that rules matter, that procedures exist for a reason, and that actions have consequences. When the administration demonstrates that they are exempt from these principles, they are not teaching civics—they are teaching cynicism.

  • ·        The Procedure: Section 5.2.3 of Procedure 2033a explicitly mandates that principals communicate the reason and duration for displaying any non-official flag.

  • ·        The Reality: Parents are finding schools draped in ideological insignia with no explanation and no end date.


By refusing to follow their own mandate, the TVDSB is effectively signaling that their internal policy is subordinate to the promotion of a specific social ideology. This is not about the flag itself; it is about the total collapse of accountability.


Defending the Secular Classroom

We must be clear: an objection to the promotion of ideology in a secular, taxpayer-funded school is not an act of “intolerance.” It is an act of viewpoint neutrality. When the TVDSB chooses to fly one specific flag while ignoring others, they have abandoned the neutrality that a public, secular institution is obligated to maintain.


If you are frustrated, you are not alone. But frustration without action is exactly what the board is counting on. They are banking on the assumption that parents will grumble at the school gate but ultimately do nothing.


Take Formal Action

We encourage you to move beyond the school-gate conversation and make the board’s non-compliance a matter of official record.

1.    Flood the Office: As we detailed earlier, the new Student and Family Support Office is the current point of contact for a board under supervision. You do not need to be a parent to register your concern as a taxpayer.

2.    Document Everything: When you reach out, keep a record of your communication. If you call, follow up with an email. Formal, documented objections are far more difficult for the administration to ignore than casual, unrecorded grievances.

3.    Assert Your Rights: Remember that you can seek “creed-based” accommodations if you object to ideological programming. You do not need a traditional religion to hold a “creed”—Classical Liberalism, with its foundational commitment to free speech and individual autonomy, is a perfectly valid basis for an accommodation request.


The board will only be held to their own rules if we hold them to their own rules. They are currently operating under the assumption that they can ignore their own policy manual with impunity. It is time we disabuse them of that notion.

I was in the UK to cover Tommy Robinson's Unite the Kingdom rally, but I also wanted to investigate what decades of mass immigration and failed integration have done to parts of Britain.

 

So, I travelled to Whitechapel in East London alongside Visegrád 24 founder Stefan Tompson, independent journalist Cam Higby, and Iranian activist Younes Sadaghiani.

 

I saw entire streets where English was rarely spoken and where mosques dominated the neighbourhood landscape. It appeared as though parts of London had become increasingly disconnected from the values and culture on which it was built.

The neighbourhood I visited bears little resemblance to the image of England most people have in mind.

 

Across the United Kingdom, demographic change is accelerating. In city after city, the population makeup has shifted dramatically.

The trend becomes even more pronounced among younger age groups, where the share of white British residents continues to decline as decades of mass immigration reshape the country.

 

For years, the political class and legacy media have ignored concerns about mass immigration, integration, and demographic change. They were simply topics that weren't to be discussed.

But after spending time in Whitechapel, I can tell you that the transformation is real, and it is happening far faster than most people realize.

TRUMP: 

Trump taps Bill Pulte as Acting Intelligence Chief after Gabbard's departure

President Donald Trump announced Tuesday morning that Bill Pulte, the 38-year-old director of the Federal Housing Finance Agency, will step in as acting director of national intelligence following Tulsi Gabbard's resignation, a pick that hands the nation's top intelligence post to a housing regulator with no known national security background.

Trump made the announcement on Truth Social, praising Pulte's record overseeing Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac while confirming the young official would hold both jobs simultaneously. The move drew immediate questions from lawmakers in both parties about whether Pulte is equipped for the role.


The appointment fills a vacancy created by Gabbard's decision to step down to care for her husband, Abraham Williams, who is battling a rare form of bone cancer. Gabbard announced her departure in recent weeks, and her last day as DNI will be June 30, as the New York Post and other outlets have reported.


A housing finance chief for the intelligence community

Trump's social media post framed Pulte's financial stewardship as a qualification for the intelligence world. As the Daily Mail reported, the president wrote:

"I am appointing the Director of the Federal Housing Finance Agency, and Chairman of Fannie Mae/Freddie Mac, William J Pulte, to serve as Acting Director of National Intelligence."


Trump added that Pulte "has deep experience managing the most sensitive matters in America, the safety and soundness of the Markets, and over ten Trillion Dollars at Fannie Mae/Freddie Mac, a substantial increase from where it was just 12 months ago."

Pulte will keep his FHFA director title and his chairmanship of both Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac while running the intelligence community in an acting capacity. If Trump decides to formally nominate Pulte for the permanent DNI role, he would need Senate confirmation, the New York Post noted.


That confirmation fight could prove difficult. Republican Sen. Bill Cassidy offered a blunt two-word assessment when asked about the pick: "Doesn't seem qualified," AP News reported.

Democratic Sen. Mark Warner went further, charging that Trump had "chosen an official who has demonstrated not just willingness but eagerness to use the authorities of government to pursue political retribution."


Who is Bill Pulte?

Pulte is the grandson of William J. Pulte, founder of the Pulte Group, a construction company now worth more than $22 billion. The younger Pulte first gained public attention in 2019 when he began giving away money on Twitter, now X, in a series of philanthropic stunts that built his following to more than three million by 2022. He has claimed to have given away over $1 million through those efforts.


He is also a Mar-a-Lago member who has been spotted frequenting Trump's golf resorts, a social proximity to the president that clearly hasn't hurt his career trajectory.

But Pulte's tenure at FHFA has not been without friction. He reportedly sold Trump on the idea of proposing a new 50-year mortgage, a concept that raised eyebrows across the housing industry. He also drew backlash from Christian supporters after reportedly discussing a meme depicting him as Jesus Christ before it was posted online.


More seriously, Pulte has feuded openly with Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent. At a dinner with multiple Cabinet officials in September, Bessent reportedly confronted Pulte after hearing that Pulte had been badmouthing him to the president. The exchange, as reported, was not diplomatic. Bessent allegedly told Pulte: "Why the f*** are you talking to the President about me?", and then threatened to "punch you in your f***ing face."


That kind of intra-Cabinet tension is not unusual in any administration, but it raises practical questions about how Pulte will navigate the intelligence community's relationships with the Treasury Department and other agencies that share classified information.


Pulte's political edge

Beginning in April, Pulte started publicly accusing three prominent Trump adversaries of mortgage fraud: New York Attorney General Letitia James, who brought charges against Trump; California Sen. Adam Schiff, who led an impeachment inquiry against the president; and Federal Reserve Board of Governors member Lisa Cook, who fought back when Trump tried to fire her, a case now before the Supreme Court.


All three denied any wrongdoing. But the pattern, using the authority of a housing finance agency to target political opponents of the president, is precisely what Warner and other Democrats have seized on. Whether those accusations have legal merit or amount to political theater remains an open question.


Democrats drew criticism for politicizing Gabbard's resignation over her husband's health, and now they face the question of whether their objections to Pulte will be treated as principled concern or more of the same partisan reflex.


Gabbard's exit and the family crisis behind it

Gabbard posted on social media Tuesday morning alongside the president's announcement, offering a personal update rather than a political statement.

"We are getting ready to head to the hospital for my husband's surgery and just wanted to say thank you so much to all of who have shared messages, prayers and well wishes for Abraham."


Williams's exact diagnosis has not been publicly detailed beyond "a rare form of bone cancer." The surgery Gabbard referenced appears to be part of his ongoing treatment. Whatever one thinks of Gabbard's tenure as DNI, her reason for leaving is personal and serious, and she has handled the transition with grace.


Reports had circulated earlier that Trump was weighing a change at the DNI post even before Gabbard's family situation became public, with policy disagreements, particularly over Iran, reportedly contributing to internal friction. The departure of Gabbard's deputy, Amaryllis Fox Kennedy, amid reported disagreements over Iran strikes added to the sense that the intelligence directorate was already in flux.


The real question: what does an acting DNI need to do?

The director of national intelligence oversees 18 intelligence agencies, coordinates threat briefings for the president, and serves as the principal intelligence adviser to the National Security Council. It is not a ceremonial post. The person in the chair shapes what the president sees, how threats are prioritized, and how the intelligence community communicates with policymakers.


Pulte's defenders can point to his management of a massive financial portfolio and argue that executive competence transfers across domains. His critics, and they now include members of both parties, can point to the obvious: nothing in his résumé suggests experience with signals intelligence, covert operations, counterterrorism, or the diplomatic sensitivities that come with running the IC.


Newsmax reported that Pulte would need Senate confirmation if formally nominated for the permanent role, a process that would force him to answer those questions under oath. For now, the "acting" designation lets Trump install his pick without that hurdle.

Just The News confirmed the basic contours of the appointment, noting Pulte's continued leadership of the FHFA alongside the new intelligence duties.


Loyalty, competence, and the stakes

Trump has always valued loyalty and personal trust in his personnel decisions, and Pulte clearly has both. The president's willingness to hand the intelligence portfolio to a 38-year-old housing regulator with a social media following and a family construction fortune says something about how this White House views the intelligence establishment, less as a guild requiring decades of tradecraft and more as a bureaucracy requiring a loyal manager who will execute the president's priorities.


That theory of management has its logic. The intelligence community has not always covered itself in glory when it comes to serving elected leadership honestly. But the acting DNI will face real-world tests, from China, from Iran, from Russia, from terrorist networks, that have nothing to do with mortgage markets or Twitter philanthropy.

Pulte may rise to the occasion. Plenty of capable people have succeeded in roles no one expected them to fill. But the burden of proof now sits squarely on his shoulders, and the stakes are measured not in dollars but in lives.

When the intelligence community gets it wrong, Americans don't lose money. They lose people.

FBI's Operation Spring Cleaning nets 1,139 arrests, 984 firearms, and 615 federal indictments in three-month surge

The FBI's latest nationwide crackdown on violent crime produced 1,139 arrests, seized nearly a thousand firearms, and generated 615 criminal indictments over three months, the Justice Department announced Monday. FBI Director Kash Patel called Operation Spring Cleaning part of what he described as "the most prolific run of crime reduction in United States history."


The operation spanned cities from Charlotte, North Carolina, to Chicago, Dallas, Houston, Philadelphia, and Sacramento, targeting violent offenders, drug traffickers, armed felons, and fugitives the Justice Department said were spreading deadly drugs, driving gun violence, and pushing crime across district and state lines.


An FBI document reviewed by Fox News Digital detailed the scope: 1,474 joint operations, 586 search warrants, and 984 firearm seizures alongside the arrests and indictments. Federal and local agencies worked the operation together, though the FBI has not disclosed which specific partner agencies were involved or how the results broke down city by city.


Drugs, guns, and a Mercedes-Benz

The drug haul alone tells the story of what was moving through American neighborhoods before agents intervened. Law enforcement confiscated 509 kilograms of cocaine, 48 kilograms of fentanyl, 698 pounds of methamphetamine, 567 pounds of marijuana, 7.4 kilograms of crack cocaine, 38 kilograms of heroin, and 13,260 MDMA pills, the Justice Department reported.


In Dallas, authorities also seized $20,000 worth of jewelry and a Mercedes-Benz on top of the drugs and guns recovered there.

Those numbers represent real poison pulled off real streets, fentanyl measured in kilograms, methamphetamine measured in hundreds of pounds. For communities in cities like Philadelphia and Chicago that have endured years of rising drug-fueled violence, the seizures represent supply lines disrupted and dealers taken off the board.


Patel frames a refocused FBI

Patel, who has moved aggressively to reorient the bureau's priorities since taking the helm, framed Operation Spring Cleaning as part of a broader pattern. He told Fox News Digital:


"Operation Spring Cleaning is the latest success story in this FBI's full-throttle mission to surge resources all across the country, crushing violent crime and saving American lives."

He listed other recent operations by name, Summer Heat, Viper, Grayskull, and argued they collectively represent a historic shift. Patel has faced sharp questioning from congressional Democrats over his leadership, including a recent clash with Sen. Chris Van Hollen of Maryland during a Senate Appropriations subcommittee hearing. But the director has consistently pointed to operational results as his answer to critics.


Patel has also drawn attention for revealing internal bureau practices that raised questions about the FBI's institutional culture under prior leadership.

FBI Deputy Director Chris Raia echoed Patel's tone in a statement:


"The FBI's Operation Spring Cleaning is yet another example of our commitment to rooting out crime and delivering results the American public deserves. Along with our partners, we're protecting our communities, reducing crime stats nationwide, and producing record numbers of arrests and seizures. We remain focused on carrying out our mission to crush violent crime and defend the homeland, and we've only just begun."


A cross-jurisdictional problem

Reid Davis, the special agent in charge of the FBI's Charlotte office, offered a blunt assessment of why federal involvement matters in violent crime cases that local departments often struggle to contain on their own.


"People willing to commit violent crimes don't care about city and county lines."

That one sentence captures a frustration familiar to law enforcement professionals across the country. Gangs and drug networks operate across jurisdictions. Local police departments, often understaffed and politically constrained, cannot always pursue suspects who flee to the next county or state. Federal agencies can.


The question critics on the left rarely answer is what happens when those federal resources are redirected away from violent crime, toward political investigations, diversity initiatives, or headquarters bureaucracy. Under Patel, the FBI has signaled clearly that street-level enforcement is back at the top of the priority list.

That shift has also played out in high-profile cases where federal and local authorities clashed over investigative access and jurisdiction.


Operation Soteria Shield and the broader push

Monday's announcement came just days after the FBI disclosed the results of Operation Soteria Shield, a joint takedown with Texas authorities that targeted child exploitation. That operation yielded more than 276 arrests of suspected child exploiters and rescued 89 children, authorities said Friday.


The back-to-back announcements are not coincidental. The Justice Department said Operation Spring Cleaning supports the broader initiative known as Operation Take Back America, a nationwide effort to repel illegal immigration and eliminate drug cartels and transnational criminal organizations.


Authorities are also preparing for the summer season, when some violent and property crimes have historically shown seasonal increases. The timing suggests the FBI intends to maintain its operational tempo heading into the warmer months, when crime tends to spike in major cities.


The bureau's recent track record of major seizures and high-profile arrests has reinforced the message that federal law enforcement is operating with renewed urgency across multiple fronts.


What the numbers don't tell us

For all the impressive topline figures, important details remain undisclosed. The FBI has not broken down how many of the 1,139 arrests occurred in each city. It has not specified what charges are included in the 615 indictments or which jurisdictions filed them. The legal basis for the 586 search warrants has not been made public.


Those gaps matter. Aggregate numbers can obscure as much as they reveal. A single jurisdiction padding its count with minor offenses would look different from 615 serious federal charges spread across violent felony cases. The FBI should welcome scrutiny of the details, if the results are as strong as advertised, transparency only helps.


The bureau's willingness to confront uncomfortable questions about its own institutional history, including past allegations of misleading federal courts, will ultimately determine whether the public trusts these operational claims at face value.


A question of priorities

The contrast between this FBI and the one Americans watched for the past several years is hard to miss. For much of the previous administration, the bureau's public profile was dominated by political controversies, internal leaks, and questions about whether its leadership was weaponizing federal law enforcement against domestic political opponents. Rank-and-file agents, the men and women who actually serve warrants, make arrests, and build cases against violent criminals, were often an afterthought in the national conversation.


Operation Spring Cleaning puts those agents back at the center. Nearly a thousand guns off the streets. Hundreds of pounds of fentanyl and meth seized before they could reach buyers. More than 1,100 people arrested. Whether the political class in Washington wants to acknowledge it or not, those are real results with real consequences for real neighborhoods.


Patel said it plainly: "These surges truly save lives, and I couldn't be prouder of our agents and partners who executed them."

The FBI spent years convincing half the country it had lost its way. The only cure for that is the work itself, and right now, the work is getting done.

Rubio gets grilled on Iran

Secretary of State Marco Rubio made no mention of the war with Iran during the opening statement of his first public hearing before former Senate colleagues since the war began — a conflict with such far-reaching economic consequences, some Republicans in the room could soon lose their jobs.


“Our foreign policy is one that is solely focused on the national interest of the United States of America — on the defense of our country, both its military defense and our security, but also our economic security and the vibrancy of our economy,” he said this morning. He lauded the U.S. as “the world’s sole global superpower,” celebrated cuts to foreign aid, and joked that he looked forward to “probably half of your questions.”


The questions he wasn’t looking forward to came quickly. 

“You were a senator. You sat on this committee, you sat on the Intelligence Committee” said Sen. Jeanne Shaheen (D-N.H.), the panel’s top Democrat. “You know as well as anyone that effective American foreign policy requires a strong partnership with Congress.” She said she had “a long list of unanswered requests” to the State Department, including briefings on U.S. force posture in Europe, displacement in the Iran war, Ukraine, sanctions, USAGM, the Romanian visa program termination and Venezuelan oil revenues.


The deeply unpopular war has sent prices skyrocketing ahead of November’s elections — though President Donald Trump has said he isn’t concerned about Americans’ financial situations or the midterms as he pushes for a deal to end the war.

Democrats wasted no time trying to score political points.


“When I talk to my constituents, they ask for economic relief at home, not regime change in Havana or Caracas or Tehran,” Shaheen said. “Instead, you sent Congress a war powers notification saying we are not in active hostilities with Iran while the U.S. was conducting strikes against Iran and Iran was bombing U.S. embassies and bases throughout the Middle East.”


Maryland Sen. Chris Van Hollen, who recently wrote an NYT op-ed blasting his party’s support of the Israeli government, called the war “a dumpster fire.” He added that Israeli PM Benjamin Netanyahu “said he’s been waiting 40 years to do this. It turns out he finally found a president who was both stupid and reckless enough to join him.”


And in an extended back-and-forth with Sen. Cory Booker (D-N.J.), Rubio declared the “war is over,” to which Booker retorted: “The war is not over. And yet the American people see how we're losing at the pump and with their costs, and yet this thing still hasn’t been resolved.”


Rubio’s testimony came as negotiations with Tehran to end the war, now in its third month, appear stalled amid renewed tensions and cracks in the fragile ceasefire.


The secretary of State presented an upbeat view of the status of talks, telling the committee that Tehran “agreed to negotiate aspects of their nuclear program that just a month ago, just a year ago, they were refusing to even mention.” Rubio said a deal could come “today, it could happen tomorrow, it could happen next week” — but also cautioned there is no guarantee that any final agreement will be reached.


Rubio revealed there were “indications” that Iranian Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei, who has not been seen in public since the initial U.S.-Israeli strikes that killed his father and reportedly severely disfigured him, “is increasingly engaging at some level” in the negotiations. He emphasized the White House would not agree to relieve any sanctions on Tehran unless Iranian negotiators make major concessions on the country’s nuclear program and reopen the Strait of Hormuz. More from POLITICO’s Felicia Schwartz


Democrats appeared skeptical. “We are the strongest nation on the planet Earth, and we’re in a stalemate with Iran,” Booker told Rubio. “And now we’re begging to get back into a deal that you all trashed in the first place.”

Rubio replied: “There’s no one begging.”

1. PROMOTION FOR PULTE: Trump this morning tapped FHFA Director Bill Pulte to take over from Tulsi Gabbard as acting DNI, an unconventional choice that elevates the president’s loyal but controversial ally with no known background in intelligence to serve as the country’s top spy. Trump’s Truth Social post did not indicate he would nominate Pulte for the permanent DNI job — for which confirmation would be a tall order. Democrats are deeply suspicious of Pulte given his central role in Trump’s campaign to dominate the Fed, as are many Republicans, POLITICO’s Gregory Svirnovskiy and John Sakellariadis write.

As housing chief, Pulte recommended DOJ investigate several of Trump’s perceived political enemies over unfounded allegations of mortgage fraud and promoted — then pulled back — a short-lived and unpopular White House idea for 50-year mortgages. Pulte has also stirred drama within Trump’s Cabinet: Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent reportedly threatened to punch Pulte “in the fucking face” at a private dinner last year.


2. TRUMP SIGNS WATERED-DOWN AI EO: Trump today quietly signed an executive order to address cybersecurity threats from AI, but with less government scrutiny than the White House was set to impose last month, POLITICO’s Sophia Cai and Cheyenne Haslett scooped. Trump’s signature comes after a small, high-level meeting at the White House yesterday about next steps for the order. The EO asks some AI companies to submit their new models to a voluntary government review 30 days before releasing to the public — a departure from an earlier draft, obtained by Sophia, that called for a voluntary review as much as 90 days in advance.


3. FOR YOUR RADAR: “House Ethics Committee investigating Rep. Jimmy Gomez over sexual misconduct allegations, sources say,” by CNN’s Pamela Brown, Annie Grayer and Allison Gordon: “The sources … said the panel had made early reach outs in its attempt to follow up on a New York Post story, which alleged Gomez had been spotted kissing an aide, who worked for a different member of Congress, outside a backyard party in 2023. A Gomez spokesperson told The Post at the time that the accounts were ‘not true’ … In reaching out to look into that story, one of the sources told CNN, the panel learned of other allegations of sexual misconduct against Gomez that it is now investigating.”

The response: “In a lengthy statement for this story, Gomez acknowledged having made mistakes that caused his family pain but said they had not violated the law or any House ethics rules. He said he would ‘cooperate with any Ethics Committee inquiry and provide it with whatever information it might need.’”

8. IOWA INSIGHT: The marquee matchup in Iowa tonight is the Democratic Senate primary. Democrats believe the national attention could boost energy and drive turnout — both tonight and down the road. “A lot of excitement around this primary because it represents what we might be able to get done in November,” Iowa Democratic Party Chair Rita Hart told Playbook contributor Roxy Ekberg, who’s covered Iowa for years.

It’s then that Democrats see an opportunity to flip the 1st Congressional District, where incumbent GOP Rep. Mariannette Miller-Meeks won by less than one point in 2024. Votes are still being tallied in Ethiopia after Monday’s elections, but it’s a foregone conclusion that Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed will secure another five-year term.

A political status quo in Africa’s most populous nation after Nigeria won’t necessarily translate into stability, though.

The contest for seats in the national legislature, which elects the premier, saw the opposition vote split among more than 40 small blocs, putting Abiy’s Prosperity Party on a clear path to victory.

The election was deferred in the northern Tigray province and parts of neighboring Amhara, home to some of Abiy’s fiercest rivals.

Ethiopia continues to be riven by internal divisions, most notably between the federal government and the Tigrayans. They fought a two-year civil war that claimed hundreds of thousands of lives before a truce was agreed in 2022. Armed insurgencies continue elsewhere in the country.


Abiy, 49, who won a Nobel Prize after forging a peace deal with Eritrea following decades of animosity, has done little to ease the tensions and instead largely resorted to force to quell dissent.


He’s angered Somalia and Eritrea by demanding direct access to the sea, antagonized Egypt by building a huge dam on a Nile River tributary, and drawn accusations from Sudan’s military that he’s backing a militia in the nation’s civil war.

Regional diplomats warned earlier this year that relations between Ethiopia and Eritrea had deteriorated sharply, raising the risk of renewed conflict.


The US is unlikely to keep Abiy in check.

The Trump administration has sought to broker peace deals in Sudan and the Democratic Republic of Congo, but is now squarely focused on the Middle East. Africa is far down its priority list.

The result on June 14 may still be very close, but the trend is now pointing to a rejection. That will come as relief to the government and businesses, who have opposed the cap because of its potential damage to the economy.

Anti-Christian Bill C-9 amended to criminalize ‘residential school denialism’

(LifeSiteNews) — The Canadian Senate’s Human Rights Committee voted Monday night to amend an anti-Christian “hate speech” bill to criminalize “residential school denialism.”

The sponsor of the amendment, Sen. Nancy Karetak-Lindell (Nunavut), claimed that residential school attendees such as herself faced harms.

“Every survivor experienced it in a different way,” she said. “We lost a lot of family time. We lost a chance to grow up in our culture, in our language. Yes, I did get education, but I also lost out on a parallel education that I would have gotten if I had been able to stay home.”


The new proposed amendment would change Canada’s Criminal Code to say that any person who willfully promotes hatred against indigenous peoples by “condoning, denying or downplaying” Canada’s residential school system outside of a private conversation could face prosecution or even a summary conviction, which could then lead to potential jail time.


The new amendment to Bill C-9 needs a House of Commons ratification, if the bill as it stands is passed by the Senate in the third reading.

Bill C-9 would criminalize religious expression and belief when quoting parts of the Bible, including passages about homosexuality and gender. Specifically, it would remove Section 319(3)(b) of Canada’s Criminal Code, which provides protection to good-faith expression of a person’s religious views based on texts such as the Bible.

The bill has been  constitutional experts for empowering the police and government to  those deemed to have violated a person’s “feelings” in a “hateful” way. The bill was introduced by Justice Minister Sean Fraser last year.


In 2021 and 2022, the mainstream media ran with  that hundreds of children were buried and disregarded by Catholic priests and nuns who ran some Canadian residential schools. The reality is that after four years there have been  at residential schools.

However, as the claims went unfounded, over 120 churches in Canada, most of them Catholic and many of them on indigenous lands that serve the local population,  to the ground, , or defiled.


The Democracy Fund (TDF) recently  that it has launched an independent, professionally-led forensic investigation into over 120 cases of arson and vandalism against Catholic and Protestant churches and Jewish synagogues since 2021.

In 2024, retired Manitoba judge Brian Giesbrecht said that Canadians  “deliberately deceived by their own government” after blasting the former Trudeau government for “actively pursuing” a policy that blames the Catholic Church for the unfounded “deaths and secret burials” of indigenous children.

Executive Order 14263. Signed May 2026. Title: “Restoring Medical Innovation Through Patent Transparency.” It was not announced at a press conference. It was not on the evening news. It was uploaded to the Federal Register at 11:47 PM on a Friday night.

 

The order directs the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office to release all patents currently held under secrecy orders related to human health, bioelectric medicine, and frequency-based therapeutic devices. There are 6,321 of them.

 

Since 1951, the Invention Secrecy Act has allowed the U.S. government to classify any patent that is deemed a threat to national security. The inventor is issued a secrecy order. They cannot manufacture the device. They cannot publish the research. They cannot tell anyone it exists. If they violate the order, they face 2 years in federal prison.

 

As of 2025, there were 5,915 active secrecy orders. The government has never disclosed what technologies are being suppressed. But patent attorneys who have reviewed the categories confirm that a significant portion fall under “biomedical devices” and “electromagnetic therapeutic apparatus.”
