Verse(s) for today:

For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: not of works, lest any man should boast.

Ephesians 2:8-9 KJV

Blessed are they that keep his testimonies, And that seek him with the whole heart.

Psalm 119:2 KJV

Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning.

James 1:17 KJV

Only two, House Members did not vote in favor of Israel's right to exist

Just two House members did not vote in favor of a resolution supporting Israel's right to exist.

Rep. Rashida Tlaib (D-MI) voted no while Rep. Thomas Massie (R-KY) voted present in the Tuesday vote.

Just 2 House members did not vote in favor of a resolution affirming Israel's right to exist https://t.co/7LhfWar6Rp

— Insider News (@InsiderNews) November 29, 2023

The dissent

"In a statement, Tlaib argued that the resolution 'ignores the existence of the Palestinian people' and 'brings us no closer to peaceful coexistence,'" according to Business Insider.

"The resolution also states that 'denying Israel's right to exist is a form of antisemitism' — which Massie took issue with," it added.

Massie's explanation

"I agree with the title 'Reaffirming the State of Israel’s Right to Exist' and much of the language, but I’m voting No on the resolution because it equates anti-Zionism with antisemitism," Massied posted to X.

"Antisemitism is deplorable, but expanding it to include criticism of Israel is not helpful," he continued.

Massie Votes No, Tlaib Present On Near-Unanimous Resolution Reaffirming Israel's Right To Exist https://t.co/VEiHRBkRkl

Tlaib's criticisms

“Both Israelis and Palestinians have the right to live with democracy, safety, peace and human dignity. This resolution that ignores the existence of the Palestinian people brings us no closer to peaceful coexistence,” Tlaib stated.

“Israel does not have a right to carry out illegal occupation and apartheid—which will never lead to a just and lasting peace,” she added. “Unfortunately, this resolution is a one-sided attempt to rewrite history.”

Rep. Mike Lawler (R-NY) introduced the resolution that sought to express increased support for Israel and condemn antisemitism following increased incidents after the Oct. 7 attacks by Hamas in Israel.

Hamas terrorists killed over 1,400 Israelis, taking more than 240 hostages in Gaza. Over 30 Americans were also killed, with 10 hostages taken. At least one American hostage and several Israeli hostages have recently been released in hostage swaps with Israel.

The resolution sent a clear signal of American support to Israel but also revealed concerns by two lawmakers dissenting in the matter that has taken national prominence following the recent war in the Middle East.

Letitia James case against Trump may take massive turn:

New documents and testimony in the New York civil fraud case against former President Donald Trump from Attorney General Letitia James may lead to a major change in the case.

The bank involved in the accusations against Trump over his net worth now claims his adjustments were not unusual, as James has claimed.

Banker's testimony

“It’s not unusual or atypical for any client’s provide[d] financial statements to be adjusted to this level to this extent,” banker David Williams said during the trial Tuesday.

“I think we expect clients-provided information to be accurate,” Williams said. “At the same time, it’s not an industry standard that these statements be audited. They’re largely reliant on the use of estimates.”

Contradicting the lawsuit

"The lawsuit argues that Trump inflated his assets to obtain favorable terms from banks and insurers, portraying Deutsche Bank as Trump’s biggest victim," according to the National Pulse.

"Williams, however, drew attention to the bank’s standard practice of independently reducing a client’s stated asset values before loan approval, which was the case with Trump," it continued.

The background

"Earlier in the trial, Trump and two of his sons, Donald Trump Jr. and Eric Trump, testified that no banks had been harmed by the alleged inflated valuation, and that multiple lenders had profited millions of dollars in interest on the loans," Trending Politics reported.

"Trump also claimed that the earlier assessments took into account his name and the possibility for future development," it noted.

The case is one of several against the former president as he seeks a comeback bid to the White House next year.

In addition to the New York fraud trial, Trump faces additional cases in Florida over classified documents found in his home last year, along with cases in Georgia and Washington.

The latest development in the New York case may be a major win for Trump as he continues to defy the odds in his hopes to return as president.

Dana White just scored a knockout with this epic rant about Big Media:

Dana White is the outspoken CEO of the Ultimate Fighting Championship – but he’s not just the face of the UFC.

White has been a loud advocate for Donald Trump for years.

And now White has scored a knockout over Big Media following the truth bombs he dropped in this must-see rant.

The last non-woke sport standing ?

The National Football League, National Basketball Association, Major League Baseball, even the National Hockey League and NASCAR have all decided to placate the woke mob.

But not the Ultimate Fighting Championship.

Former Middleweight Champion Colby Chaos Covington actively campaigned for former President Donald Trump and even received a phone call from the then-President following one of his victories.

Inaugural UFC “BMF” Champion Jorge Gamebred Masvidal went as far as organizing the Cuban vote for Trump and has been important in the Hispanic vote in Florida swinging red.

And of course, the CEO of UFC, Dana White has been an outspoken Trump supporter from day one.

White has made it no secret he supports the 45th President of the United States and routinely rushes to Trump’s defense in the sports media.

Dana White scores another knockout

And in a recent interview, White pulled no punches when sharing his thoughts on the state of the media in 2023 America.

The UFC boss was the guest on the hit Bussin with the Boys podcast recently.

Bussin with the Boys is a popular Barstool Sports podcast hosted by Will Compton and Taylor Lewin.

MSNBC delivers heart-stopping news about Donald Trump

Politics can be a nasty business. But no one thought it would come to this.

And MSNBC delivers heart-stopping news about Donald Trump

The thought of another four years of President Donald Trump has the Left in a panic.

They’re desperately trying to convince voters that Trump winning a second term would be disastrous for not only the United States, but for the world.

One way they’re doing this is through Left-leaning media outlets such as MSNBC.

Early this week, Hayes Brown, an opinion writer and editor for MSNBC, posted on the news outlet’s website an article claiming that the apocalypse would occur if Trump wins next year’s election.

Brown argued that the former president and his team’s plan to address climate change would bring about the end of the world.

“Only a massive shift away from fossil fuels and a reduction in the amount of carbon dioxide pumped into the air can avert the oncoming disaster,” Brown wrote.

“But former President Donald Trump and his advisers have other ideas, all of which would only bring about a climate change-fueled apocalypse even faster.”

This is yet another case of the Left exaggerating their claims as to how damaging a Trump presidency would be.

They also claim that democracy as we know it will be fully destroyed if Donald Trump were to win in 2024.

Brown goes on to explain that Biden’s so-called climate accomplishments through the Inflation Reduction Act would be blown apart by a Trump administration as well.

“Trump would also seek to roll back any environmental regulations that the Biden administration has issued and have Congress cut off the climate spending in last year’s Inflation Reduction Act,” Brown continued.

The Inflation Reduction Act has done little to nothing to solve the crisis of soaring inflation.

In fact, it’s main purpose is to use taxpayer funds to support massive climate initiatives.

Even Democrats like Senator Joe Manchin (WV) believe the bill was poorly named.

President Biden has also failed to get Americans on board with purchasing more electric vehicles.

This is largely due to how expensive electric cars are, especially for middle-class families who are trying to stay afloat in Biden’s poor economy.

Brown’s prediction of a “climate change-fueled apocalypse” under a Trump presidency has a very low chance at happening despite his clamoring.

And instead, Donald Trump’s policies will bring back common-sense action to climate change that doesn’t involve the erasure of fossil fuels or using taxpayer dollars to fund pointless climate bills that don’t actually solve the problem.

The White House received a dire warning from North Korea that has all hell breaking loose:

The communist country of North Korea has been a threat to the free world for decades. Now they’re trying to show their force.

And the White House received a dire warning from North Korea that has all hell breaking loose.

On November 21, a surveillance satellite named Malligyong-1 was launched from North Korea according to news reports from the nation’s propaganda network, Korean Central News Agency (KCNA).

The launch of the satellite was obviously condemned by the United States, the United Nations, and South Korea.

Allegedly the satellite was able to take pictures of military bases in the U.S. and the White House, as well as other places around the world.

Kim Jong Un is reported to have viewed the pictures from Malligyong-1 according to KCNA.

“The respected Comrade Kim Jong Un saw the satellite photos of Rome of Italy taken at 17:56:28 on Nov. 25 (Pyongyang Time) and Anderson Air Force Base taken above Guam in the Pacific at 09:17:07 on Nov. 27 (Pyongyang Time) and pilot satellite images of other regions,” KCNA reported.

The North Korean dictator is also alleged to have seen pictures “in detail” of “the Norfolk Naval Station, the Newport News Dockyard and an airfield of Virginia, U.S., taken at 23:35:53 on Nov. 27 and the White House and the Pentagon of Washington and other objects at 23:36:25 on Nov. 27.”

Kim Jong Un was pleased with the satellite’s work and had “great satisfaction” over the whole ordeal according to KCNA.

While the launch of the Malligyong-1 satellite was confirmed by South Korea, North Korea has not yet showed any of the photos that were taken, leading to speculation over if they actually exist or not.

KCNA is working hard to convince the world that the satellite photos are real by announcing that “four U.S. Navy nuclear carriers and one British aircraft carrier,” were present in the pictures featuring U.S. military bases.

And less than a day after the satellite was launched, North Korea announced it had pictures of American military bases in Guam. South Korea was quick to shut down those reports as an “exaggeration.”

North Korea and Kim Jong Un aren’t planning to stop anytime soon with this alleged spying satellites.

In fact, the dictator plans for “many more reconnaissance satellites” that will “closely monitor and grasp the nature…of the U.S. imperialists.”

KCNA backed up these plans by reporting that “The launch of reconnaissance satellite is a legitimate right of the DPRK [North Korea] for strengthening its self-defensive capabilities and it will make a significant contribution to definitely ramping up the war preparedness of the armed forces in conformity with the security environment created in and around the country owing to the enemies’ dangerous military moves.”

While the photos of American military bases and the White House can’t be confirmed, it’s still a threat that the United States should take seriously.

American officials worry that the communist country could use satellite launches to further develop their nuclear missile program.

“The DPRK is unabashedly trying to advance its nuclear weapons delivery systems by testing ballistic missile technology in clear violation of this council’s resolutions,” said American Ambassador Linda Thomas-Greenfield.

“This reckless unlawful behavior threatens all of the DPRK’s neighbors and all member states.”

Who really lost the Newsom vs. DeSantis debate?

The California governor’s answer to any hard question is to shout that we dominate, we dominate! We have biotech! We have important universities! He answers any question but the one you ask him, because he’s Gavin Newsom.

Iaccidentally got ready for Thursday night’s debate between Ron DeSantis and Gavin Newsom.

Driving around the Los Angeles suburbs on Wednesday afternoon, I turned on one of our news radio stations in time to hear an entire interview with the director of a downtown homeless shelter. You can listen to it here, and be sure to pay close attention to the exchange that happens around the 2:40 mark.

The reporter notes that Newsom has been bragging about how many homeless people California has managed to get off the streets, framing it as a policy win that makes his state more successful than Florida. The shelter director annihilates the premise as if from a great height: Florida’s largest homeless population is in Miami, he says, with around 3,800 people on the street, while Los Angeles has 70,000 homeless people.

Seventy thousand.

We treat political debates as a meaningful activity, or we’re supposed to. Sorry, I can’t do it. The Christian Bale character we have for a governor in the formerly Golden State is a quick, aggressive, and sociopathically shameless liar. But 3,800 to 70,000? Good night, and thanks for coming. The whole state has closer to 170,000 people on the streets, by the way, while Florida has a little over 27,000, with almost 15,000 of those in shelters. Go walk around San Francisco if these numbers are feeling too abstract.

The most important way we’re reducing California’s homeless population is through a miserable, ugly, constant march of deaths: “The mortality rate among homeless people in Los Angeles County has increased by 55% in recent years, according to the latest county public health report. In 2019, 1,289 people experiencing homelessness died. This number increased to 1,811 in 2020 and 2,201 in 2021.”

The real debate is written in the streets, in tents and bodies. It’s written in the tax codes, in the U-Haul rentals, and in the prices at the gas stations.

What's to debate? How important is it to get in some really deft zingers? Newsom has better timing, better delivery, better teeth, and a lot more death and misery in tents on the sidewalk. Congratulations.

Ron DeSantis isn’t a show pony, and it’s increasingly obvious that he can’t even play one on TV. He got in a great line, early in the debate, about Newsom's father-in-law fleeing California for Florida, and then he stepped on it. He rushed past the punch line, diving into his next sentence with a remarkable inability to find the pause that lets the other guy writhe on the hook for a moment.

One beat, two beats, audience gets the joke, audience starts to laugh, boom, next line to slam it home. DeSantis doesn’t have that. Ladies and gentlemen, I am sorry: DeSantis will never have that. It just isn’t in him.

Here's my full analysis of that moment, which perfectly demonstrates how poorly DeSantis performs the silly ritual of "debating": Who cares? Who could possibly care? Gavin Newsom’s father-in-law actually fled California for Florida. He did so because California is poorly governed and Florida is well governed. Reality goes on, no matter how anyone performs the lines their consultants scripted for them.

As a Californian, I “watched” the “debate” in the way I'm accustomed to watching my governor, which means that I hit pause a lot to shout obscenities at the screen, fast-forwarded through several waves of nausea, and paced around the living room trying to unclench my fists. Only Larry Flynt would publish a transcript of me responding to the sound of Gavin Newsom speaking, and Larry’s dead.

Most obviously, against a clear record of relentless and astonishing decline, Newsom smirked and performed loud acts of clumsy misdirection.

Yes, a massive number of people have fled the state, and here's the Public Policy Institute of California saying it:

California is in the midst of an unprecedented demographic period: the state’s population is declining for the first time since records have been kept. Between January 2020 and January 2023 California lost almost 800,000 residents, according to estimates by the state’s Department of Finance.

Newsom’s response is to shout that we dominate, we dominate! We have biotech! We have important universities! He answers any question but the one you asked him, because he’s Gavin Newsom.

In the Canadian House of Commons this week, opposition leader Pierre Poilievre asked Prime Minister Justin Trudeau about the astonishing increase in the cost of living for Canadians and the resulting insecurity in food and housing. Trudeau responded, in large part, by leaping to his feet and shouting in a state of performative rage that Canadian conservatives no longer stand with Ukraine. This style of “debate” …

Question: Why is food so expensive?

Answer: YOU LOVE PUTIN?!?!?!?

... is constantly, infuriatingly in evidence any time Gavin Newsom stands on a stage somewhere. Newsom and Trudeau, separated at birth.

The real debate is written in the streets, in tents and bodies. It’s written in the tax codes, in the U-Haul rentals, in the prices at the gas stations ($3.16 in Florida to $4.85 in California as I write this), in the faces of the families that moved to Florida during the pandemic because they could feel freedom there. The thing on television was the echo of the debate, not the thing itself. There are no mysteries about the identity of the winners and the losers.

[Behold ISRAEL]

Violence returns to Gaza

After a weeklong pause, Israel’s war with Hamas has resumed as more rockets arc toward Israel and more airstrikes pound positions across the Gaza Strip on Friday. Israel says Hamas triggered the resumption when someone launched a rocket shortly before the truce was set to expire. A separate attack in east Jerusalem left three Israelis dead before the gunmen were shot near the scene Thursday. Hamas later claimed responsibility for that attack. However, on Wednesday, “at about 18:00, Israeli troops reportedly opened fire at Palestinians in northern Gaza city, killing two of them,” the United Nations reported Thursday, and added, “the circumstances remain unclear.” Qatar’s foreign ministry shared its frustration toward Israel on Friday, accusing the country of “complicat[ing] mediation efforts and exacerbat[ing] the humanitarian catastrophe.” Negotiators in Qatar on Thursday failed to reach a new extension of the temporary ceasefire brokered last week in Doha, which had led to the release of 240 Palestinians, 86 Israelis, and 24 foreign nationals over the past seven days, according to the UN. Now with the collapse of the truce, Israel’s military is again pursuing its seemingly ambitious goal of killing Hamas leaders in the hopes of crushing the group and ending its reign in Gaza once and for all. Our forces are charging forward,” Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu wrote on social media Friday. The military reportedly dropped leaflets in southern Gaza warning residents to flee their homes to avoid future fighting. “We continue to fight with all our strength until we achieve all our goals: the return of all our abductees, the elimination of Hamas, and the promise that Gaza will never be a threat to Israel again,” Netanyahu vowed.

Presented by Epirus The UAS threat is real. So is the technology to counter it – thanks to Epirus. A newly released report from the Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS) examines the sUAS threat, the various kinetic and non-kinetic defenses available to defeat them and how DoD has approached the counter-sUAS mission over the past decade. Read the full piece here.

  • There’s little reason so far to think Israel will be more restrained in its resumption of war against Hamas. Indeed, “Within hours of the truce expiring, Gaza health officials reported that 109 people had been killed and dozens wounded in air strikes that hit at least eight homes,” Reuters reported Friday. Israeli air and artillery strikes have already killed an estimated 15,000 Palestinians, including about 6,150 children and 4,000 women. Israel may be using artificial intelligence to find targets more quickly, Jerusalem-based journalist Yuval Abraham reported Thursday. The alleged AI-based system is known as Habsora (or, “The Gospel”), and it creates targets “almost automatically at a rate that far exceeds what was previously possible,” Abraham writes. Continue reading, here. Evidence seems to be growing for an apparent Israeli intelligence failure. Since at least last year, Israeli intelligence officials were reportedly sitting on detailed plans from Hamas to carry out their October 7 attacks, officials told the New York Times this week after last week telling Haaretz much the same thing. “The approximately 40-page document, which the Israeli authorities code-named ‘Jericho Wall,’ outlined, point by point, exactly the kind of devastating invasion that led to the deaths of about 1,200 people,” the Times reported Thursday. The problem: Israel “didn’t seem to believe that the Hamas leader in Gaza, Yahya Sinwar, intended to implement the plan,” Amos Harel of Haaretz reported last Friday. The Times also reported that “experts determined that an attack of that scale and ambition was beyond Hamas’s capabilities.” Additional reading: · Spanish prime minister says he doubts Israel is respecting international law,” the Guardian reported Thursday from Madrid; · Israel recalls envoy in Madrid over Spanish PM’s comments,” Politico reported shortly afterward; · 'No walls to protect them': Gaza families brace for winter,” ABC News reported Thursday; · Jordan's king calls on Israel to allow more aid into Gaza,” Reuters reported Thursday from Amman; · US tells Israel it will announce visa ban on violent settlers in coming weeks, the Times of Israel reported Friday; · Regional tourism a casualty in Israel-Hamas conflict,” Agence France-Presse reported Friday.

Humanitarian Relief in GAZA

Key points

  • · On 30 November, the humanitarian pause entered its seventh consecutive day. It has enabled a major increase in the delivery of basic supplies into and across Gaza, primarily by the Egyptian and Palestinian Red Crescent Societies and UN agencies. However, as stressed by the UN Secretary-General on 29 November, the level of aid remains completely inadequate to meet the needs.

  • · Aid convoys to areas to the north of Wadi Gaza (hereafter: the north), which prior to the pause have received almost no supplies, continued on 30 November. Since the start of the pause until 29 November, approximately 4,850 metric tons (MT) of food, (primarily wheat flour, rice and canned food), 1,700 MT of blankets and mattresses, 1,110 MT of bottled water, 148 MT of medical supplies and 29,500 litres of fuel were delivered to UNRWA shelters, hospitals and warehouses in the north. About 88 per cent of this assistance was delivered by the Palestine Red Crescent Society (PRCS), in coordination with the UN, and the remainder by UN agencies.

  • · South of Wadi Gaza (hereafter: the south), where most internally displaced persons (IDPs) are staying, enhanced aid distribution, including fuel to hospitals, water and sanitation facilities, and shelters, also continued on 30 November. Between 24 and 29 November, 630 MT of wheat flour were distributed to 224,000 people in the south, along with 63,000 blankets and mattresses. Cooking gas has been entering daily from Egypt during this period and has been available in the market at one distribution centre in the south, albeit in quantities well below the demand.

  • · On 29 November, the Director-General of the World Health Organization (WHO) reiterated his concern about the high risk of infectious diseases in IDP shelters, attributing this to severe overcrowding and the disruption of health, water, and sanitation systems. He noted that more than 111,000 cases of acute respiratory infection, 36,000 cases of diarrhoea in children below five, and 24,000 cases of skin rash had been recorded since the start of the crisis.

  • · On 30 November, eight Israelis held as hostages in Gaza, and 30 Palestinian detainees, held in Israeli prisons, were released. The freed hostages comprised six women, one girl and one man. Among the Palestinian detainees were seven women and 23 children. Since the start of the pause, 240 Palestinians, 86 Israelis, and 24 foreign nationals have reportedly been released.

  • Hostilities and casualties (Gaza Strip)

  • · While the humanitarian pause that started on 24 November has largely held, sporadic incidents have been reported. On 29 November, at about 18:00, Israeli troops reportedly opened fire at Palestinians in northern Gaza city, killing two of them; the circumstances remain unclear. On 30 November, additional shooting incidents were reported in Gaza city, as well as shelling by the Israeli navy towards the Gaza shore in the south, none of which resulted in casualties.

  • · According to the Government Media Office (GMO) in Gaza, since the start of hostilities, more than 15,000 Palestinians have been killed in Gaza, including about 6,150 children and 4,000 women. The GMO, which is under the de facto authorities in Gaza, has been reporting casualties since the Ministry of Health (MoH) in Gaza stopped doing so on 11 November, following the collapse of services and communications at hospitals in the north.

  • · The fatality toll since 7 October includes at least 198 Palestinian medics, according to the Gaza Ministry of Health; 112 UN staff; 70 journalists and media workers, according to the Palestinian Journalist Syndicate; and at least 15 Civil Defense staff, according to the Palestinian Civil Defense.

  • · Overall, 75 Israeli soldiers have been killed in Gaza since the start of the Israeli ground operations, according to official Israeli sources.

As More Truth Comes Out...

… regarding jab deaths, more whistleblowers will start coming out of the woodwork.

And here's one:

[Fil Beorchia]

Google Maps just proved how Radically Pro-Abortion they are after taking this Disgusting Action:

Big tech has become just one more weapon in the pro-abortion arsenal of death.

And Big Tech’s billionaire CEOs will seemingly take any action to support the murder of innocent babies.

Now Google just proved how radically pro-abortion they are after Google Maps took this disgusting action.

Google Maps recently removed directions to a Washington, D.C., pro-life pregnancy center and replaced them with options that included a Planned Parenthood abortion mill.

Replacing life with death

According to The Daily Signal Google Map users who tried to search for the Capitol Hill Crisis Pregnancy Center on either their iPhone or desktop found that Google Maps no longer offered directions to the location.

And to make it even worse, Google Maps instead suggested two different locations for searchers.

At least the first was a pro-life pregnancy center although it was across the river in Maryland.

But the second option was a far cry from a pro-life pregnancy center.

In fact it was the Planned Parenthood – Carol Whitehill Moses Center, an abortion mill.

As reported by The Daily Signal;

“The Daily Signal reached out to Google on Monday around 11 a.m. after confirming that Capitol Hill Crisis Pregnancy Center could not be found on Google Maps (though it could be found on Apple Maps). Shortly afterward, the pregnancy center’s location became available on Google Maps.”

“Google confirmed to The Daily Signal that the pregnancy center’s location had, in fact, been removed.”

Google Maps claims it’s just a simple mistake

“This listing was incorrectly removed and we have since reinstated it,” a Google Maps spokeswoman told The Daily Signal. “We use many sources to keep Maps updated, including feedback from our community, information from businesses, and imagery. When we find inaccuracies, we correct them as quickly as possible.”

Janet During, Director of the Capitol Hill Pregnancy Center told The Daily Signal that she wants to believe this incident was truthfully an accident.

“But when you think of all the past things that have taken place affecting the Capitol Hill Pregnancy Center in a negative way,” she said, “I can’t help but wonder if this was on purpose.”

“It comes back to totally misunderstanding the extensive services that we offer women in crisis pregnancies,” she continued. “The fact that, yes, we offer pregnancy testing and we offer options, education, but we also go way beyond this with walking with them for months, if not sometimes years, and helping them with their child with material resources, emotional resources, and spiritual support.”

Not Google’s first go round

Of course, this is not the first time Google has been caught in pro-abortion bias.

The Big Tech monolith has repeatedly been accused of censoring pro-life viewpoints and content across their many platforms.

In fact, YouTube, which is owned by Google, automatically flags all abortion-related content with a very one-sided decidedly pro-abortion description.

And in the past pro-life ads have been rejected by Google and pro-life content has been hidden.

We truly live in a dystopian Orwellian world, and babies are dying because of it.

ISRAEL / Palestine DEBATE on ‘Tic-Toc’!

On a recent evening, Pasha Boyer, a thirty-two-year-old father and professional sports bettor who lives in Missoula, Montana, logged on to TikTok to continue what has become an unpaid full-time job: debating Israel vs. Palestine over TikTok Live. As usual, his screen resembled a nightmarish Zoom call, with the seven other interlocutors locked in a perpetual state of disagreement. “They said literally everything I was saying was wrong,” he told me. The acrimony did not deter him. He stayed on hour after hour, as fourteen hundred viewers came and went, and he eventually settled into a debate with a fellow-Jew who disagreed with Boyer’s pro-Israel stance. By the time Boyer logged off, it was 3 p.m. the next day; eighteen hours had elapsed. “You know what the crazy part is?” he said. “The other guy was on until three o’clock in the afternoon as well.”

With TikTok’s cultural influence well established, many of its users are now exploring whether the platform can host constructive debates. Boyer is one of several dozen people who have pushed this question to its limit, hashing out one of the world’s most contentious and intractable issues on TikTok Live, the app’s most freewheeling feature. Whether Boyer and his fellow-debaters can change minds is unclear. But, given the opportunity to engage with real people in front of large audiences, staunchly pro-Israel and pro-Palestine users have decided to join live streams that allow them to express their views—and argue with others—seemingly forever.

Adam Ventura, a thirty-two-year-old restaurant manager based in Denver, Colorado, who moderates one of the most popular recurring streams, told me that he wanted to provide a platform for anyone who felt excluded from the public conversation. “Everybody keeps saying, ‘People don’t have a voice,’ ‘You guys don’t let people talk,’ ‘Conspiracy this, conspiracy that,’ ” he said. At first, in the days following October 7th, he struggled to capture five concurrent viewers as he discussed his hopes that Israelis and Palestinians could coexist. But, when a few people started leaving comments, Ventura invited some to speak live. As more viewers asked to join the discussion, Ventura decided on a format: eight guests at a time, four pro-Israel, four pro-Palestine. Within days, the stream was drawing several thousand concurrent viewers, with one multi-hour debate attracting more than a hundred thousand total viewers. A month later, the streams are still going. His follower count has risen from twenty thousand to thirty thousand, and he’s gained a loyal stable of commentators.

To prevent the conversations from descending into complete chaos, Ventura tries to enforce a few rules. You are supposed to criticize the ideas of other people, not the people themselves; you are not allowed to fault someone for their religion; you should respect other people’s opinions even if you don’t agree. Predictably, though, if you pose the question “Is this Israel or Palestine?” over a picture of Jerusalem, and then open the floor to a self-selected group of extremely opinionated people, the result is generally disharmonious. Scroll through the handful of debate live streams on TikTok at any given moment and you will likely find yourself in the throes of a shouting match. Commenters flood the chat with Israeli and Palestinian flags, egging on speakers and asking for opposing ones to get booted. Some send monetary “gifts” to the TikTok Live moderator, hoping that they will be promoted to a speaking role. (Ventura, who gives “gifters” higher priority in the queue, says that the total amount of money he receives is negligible.

Another host said she receives a few dollars per each hours-long session.) If it seems like the debaters are not listening to each other, it might literally be true. “There’s times when I just have to lower the volume on my phone and just speak,” a frequent participant named Noura told me. A pro-Israel woman of Egyptian-Israeli descent, who asked that her last name be kept private for safety reasons, she feels that her perspective is unique. “If my voice can trump everybody else’s,” she said, “I’m just gonna keep talking.”

Though not everyone is muffling their debate partners mid-discussion, most agree that convincing the other side of anything is essentially impossible. Instead, they’re aiming for audience members who don’t yet have strong views on the topic. Jen, a Florida-based jewelry-business owner who frequently hosts and participates in Israel-Palestine debates (and also asked that her last name be kept private), told me that when she hosted streams on the same topic last year, before the latest war in Gaza, only a few people joined. “I would say, ‘Free Palestine,’ and they’re, like, ‘Where’s Palestine? Palestine, Texas?’ ” As horrific footage from the region has flooded people’s social-media feeds, this confusion has largely resolved. Logging on to any social-media platform now puts users directly in front of pundits, provocateurs, and outspoken peers who urge them to do their own research.

Without significant effort, anyone can read antisemitic musings from Elon Musk, the current owner of X; watch discourse on the validity of Osama bin Laden’s “Letter to America”; and observe surges in both antisemitic and anti-Muslim hate speech. Now Jen views her role as pushing back against what she sees as pro-Israel sentiment that Americans might pick up from mainstream media. “I’m just hoping to plant the seed—even a little bit of doubt,” she told me. “So people can be less indoctrinated.” Of course, it’s indoctrination that pro-Israel debaters say they’re also fighting against. Noura told me that the pro-Palestine people she argues with have “made up their minds.” “And not only that, but they have a huge community behind them, telling them that they’re right,” she continued. “So now I’m the black sheep, trying to tell them something else.”

Though it’s hard for participants to gauge their influence, Jen knows from her own experience that online debates can alter beliefs. In 2018, when she would debate on Clubhouse—a social-media site that offered audio-only live streams—she argued that Jews “had always been [in Israel], that the land was given to them, that they didn’t steal anything.” In subsequent months, she tried to learn as much as she could from both sides, “because there were things that I didn’t understand.” She read the books that other debaters recommended—“The Ethnic Cleansing of Palestine” by Ilan Pappé, “Righteous Victims” by Benny Morris—and listened to countless anecdotes. After six months, she started arguing that the state of Israel amounted to illegal occupation of land that rightfully belonged to the Palestinians. “As a Puerto Rican,” she said, “it resonated more with me.”

She switched to TikTok on the recommendation of a friend who told her about the popularity of TikTok Live, and jumped straight into some of the most controversial issues debated on the site: white privilege, abortion, critical race theory. (Her friend has since pivoted from standard debates to TikTok Live’s much more lucrative “battle” feature, where two competitors face off to see who can earn the most donations. Jen described the format as “brain-dead.”) She thought at first that the debates would be in good faith but then realized she was “completely wrong.” Jen told me that she usually attracts “the crazies” and ends up with debates that resemble reality TV. She still finds it worth doing, partly because of her own conversion experience and partly because of her nature. “I guess I just like fighting with people,” she said.

Ventura recognizes that many of his live streams devolve into fights over the same few issues, but this reflects, he thinks, “the nasty reality of what’s going on.” Between the yelling, the incessant crosstalk, and the repeated accusations of lying, people share stories of profound personal loss: an Israeli man whose neighbors were killed, a Palestinian man who lost a nephew. “You’re showing common ground,” Ventura said, “that both people are losing something, both people are being affected by what’s going on out there.”

Even as social-media companies like Meta, X, and TikTok continue to de-emphasize news, they remain the main source of information for many people, their window to the world. Users can watch scores of first-person reports from Israel, Gaza, and the West Bank, or learn about the history behind the current fighting. Pasha Boyer feels that YouTube and podcasts are much more useful and balanced sources of information than TikTok—but, for now, the views on TikTok are higher, so that’s where he’s going to stay, for as many hours as it takes to win a few converts. “I’m not a quitter,” he said. “I’ll never give up.” ♦

White House press officers disobeyed ethics orders:

December 1, 2023

https://www.patriotnewsalerts.com/white-house-press-officers-disobeyed-ethics-orders/

This story was originally published by the WND News Center.

The mouthpieces for Joe Biden's White House, Karine Jean-Pierre, and Andrew Bates, were told they were not allowed to slam Republicans as "MAGA" members, but then did so anyway, according to a new report.

The Daily Mail explains the independent Office of Special Counsel said the two participated in actions "contrary" to official guidance on federal law when they used the "MAGA" moniker to slam Republicans.

It is the Hatch Act that prohibits federal employees from promoting a political ideology while being paid by taxpayers.

The violation happened only after Jean-Pierre already was warned against violating the law that is intended to prevent federal employees from using their positions to influence elections.

It was the OSC that told government officials last summer that "MAGA" and other related terms were "off-limits" because they were being seen as campaign-related slogans.

Jean-Pierre then, after, was found to be in violation of the law with her use of that term, the report said.

A White House official claimed the Democrats running the administration "take the law seriously," and Jean-Pierre often cites the law when she refuses to answer questions about Biden that may be considered campaign-related.

But both Jean-Pierre and Bates used the word "MAGA" repeatedly to demonize Republicans.

"The complaint against the duo was filed by a conservative watchdog group called Protect the Public's Trust, which is run by former Trump administration official Michael Chamberlain," the report explained.

He told NBC News, "Apparently, nobody takes the Hatch Act very seriously, at least nobody that matters. Ms. Jean-Pierre cites it frequently to avoid tough questions, but when she and her deputy received the initial warning from OSC, they doubled down."

Shocking U.S. Supreme Court news leaves everyone’s jaws on the floor:

The power of the Supreme Court cannot be overstated. That’s what makes this development so jolting.

And the U.S. Supreme Court’s latest news has left everyone’s jaws on the floor.

Over the past few years, Democrats have been desperate to do everything they can to attack the legitimacy of the U.S. Supreme Court since they are not in “control” of that institution anymore.

Before Neil Gorsuch, Brett Kavanaugh, and Amy Coney Barrett joined the High Court bench, the Democrats were regularly winning many cases that were favorable for their political agenda. Very few went the way of conservatives.

That was largely because Clarence Thomas was the only super strong conservative on the bench. But now being joined by the three Justices who were nominated by Donald Trump, the Supreme Court’s average jurisprudence is much more conservative.

Modern radical Democrats, though, aren’t willing to stand for that. Just consider how Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer said that a “whirlwind” was coming the Supreme Court’s way if they thought about touching Roe v. Wade, which was eventually overturned.

In recent months, Democrats have been accusing the Justices on the Supreme Court bench of being guilty of ethics violations that have allegedly interfered with the Justices’s ability to rule fairly.

They have no evidence of this of course, but they are doing everything they can to find something.

That’s precisely why Democrats just voted to subpoena a conservative donor and a conservative activist who they say is involved with scandals surrounding the U.S. Supreme Court.

Conservatives were quick to point out that these subpoenas in an attempt to try to dig up dirt on certain Supreme Court Justices may not be legal on a Senate technicality.

“Under the rules, the subpoena is not valid,” U.S. Senator Ted Cruz from Texas said. “The two-hour rule says you have to be concluded with your business, that nothing that happens after two hours is valid. And when they actually issued the subpoena, it was 12:02.”

Furthermore, he noted that the Democrats did not have a quorum for the vote to take place. Instead, Democrats went forward with the vote regardless after Republicans left the room in an attempt to prevent the vote from proceeding.

“Under the rules, they have to have a quorum. We denied them a quorum. Republicans left the room and so when they voted on the subpoenas, there were only Democrats in the room,” Cruz added.

It’s very clear what’s going on here to anyone who doesn’t have blinders on.

The Democrats are very much upset that the conservative Justices on the U.S. Supreme Court bench have strong sway power since they outnumber the liberal Justices 6 to 3.

Even if Democrats got lucky with Joe Biden winning a second term in 2024 and Clarence Thomas stepping down during his second term, that would still not be enough to tip the scales.

So instead of dealing with the consequences of losing the 2016 Presidential election, the Democrats are trying to kick one or more of the conservative Justices from the bench so they can’t stay there for decades longer.

Yet another Democrat witch hunt.
