Reading out of the One Minute with God for Men daily devotions, but it's common for all, children, women. Kindness isn't a single act. It's a lifestyle. It's a proactive decision to make when you go out into the world with intention.
Matthew 7, 12 says, do for others what you would like them to do for you. treat others as you want to be treated. God's promise is your own soul is nourished when you are kind. That's Proverbs 11, 17. So next time you feel overwhelmed by cortisol and stress and all the things that are going on in your life, meditate, pray, ask God to give you the strength going into the world to be kind.
When you're kind to others, when you're allowing for empathy, humility, and understanding the common bond in humanity, you might give somebody the grace that they deserve that they didn't realize they were going to have. It's a gift.
When somebody cuts you off, when somebody is rude, kill them with kindness. Be kind. I appreciate you guys. Hope you're having a good week and a good day. I'll see you tomorrow, September 19th. Until next time.

Evangelism Encounters
This is the story of a bodybuilder named Morgan. Well, sort of. It’s actually more about multiplication of gospel witness. Let me explain.
Last year, during our final day of the EETN Test Driver’s Competition, Devin Van Egdom, one of our EETN trainers, walked up to a 330 pound man named Morgan to ask him The 3 Big Questions. At the time Devin was being trained by Keith Tinson.
Devin did a great job asking Morgan the questions, and communicating the gospel to him. Morgan’s answers included us being created by aliens, and that this life might be a test to lead us to an afterlife. The conversation ended with Devin encouraging Morgan to consider the gospel message. Morgan expressed a desire to follow up with friend’s of his who had been bugging him to come to church with them. Days later, one of our cameramen, Robert Lawrie, sent our group a video of a popular YouTube fitness channel that featured Morgan in a fun weightlifting challenge. You can see that short video HERE
This reminded all of us to pray for Morgan.
Months went by, when out of the blue, Keith sent the group a text with a photo of him with Morgan! Keith had bumped into Morgan while participating in a GO Team at Spencer Smith Park in Burlington. Keith was bursting with excitement to share the news that Morgan had become a follower of Christ!
“Gentlemen, since we last saw him he has given his life to Christ!! We chatted for 25 minutes about what God has done to him... He said he often thinks of that conversations [with Devin]... Our conversation was rich, and we opened the word, talked about salvation, assurance, perseverance... We ended in prayer...It was an amazing experience.”
The whole group was ecstatic. And we have since been in communication with Morgan to schedule a follow up interview once he returns from a bodybuilding competition overseas.
God seems to use people in training to bring folks to the Lord — sometimes more so than us veterans! It’s like he wants to encourage them early in their evangelism journey, so that they know (or we the trainers know) that salvation is ALL a work of God, not the skill of man.
As the Apostle Paul wrote,
“I planted, Apollos watered, but God gave the growth. So neither he who plants nor he who waters is anything, but only God who gives the growth.” 1 Corinthians 3:6-7 (ESV)
A Paradigm Shift
A shift in my own thinking has occurred since joining The Cross Current ministry. I have learned that it’s not just about how many lost people can I share Christ with, but rather, who am I equipping for the work of evangelism?
“And he gave the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, the shepherds and teachers, to equip the saints for the work of ministry...” Ephesians 4:11-12 (ESV)
This is the idea behind Equipping Evangelists. They are disciple makers in evangelism. As Cory says, “Evangelism adds, but discipleship multiplies”.
Adding is beautiful. We love when new souls are added to the Kingdom. But multiplying is even better because it reaches even more souls with the gospel.
The exciting thing to consider is that this model of evangelism, with its emphasis on discipleship, is producing more gospel witness than any single evangelist could ever do on his or her own. This is the big idea in the book The Master Plan of Evangelism, by Robert Coleman, a TCC recommended resource.
The Multiplication Continues
Devin is now training others in evangelism, who will go on to train others, who will train others... And in the process of training others, the Morgans of the world will come to know Jesus.

'We have to Change Attitudes before we ever Change Doctrine':

In this first extended interview he’s just done with Crux Now, Leo XIV has basically said that the Church’s teaching on sexual morality could change.
Leo XIV publicly doubts Catholic teaching on sexual morality and the immutability of dogma
(LifeSiteNews) — In his first extended interview, Leo XIV fell short of affirming the immutability of the Church’s teaching on sexual morality, and strongly implied that changes could be possible in the future.
Although more muted, he also implied that he could “change the Church’s teaching” on women’s ordination.
When discussing his approach to “LGBTQ+” issues with Elise Ann Allen of Crux Now, Leo XIV struck an uncertain note, suggesting that Church teaching could shift if attitudes changed first:
People want the Church doctrine to change, want attitudes to change. I think we have to change attitudes before we ever change doctrine.
The idea that “attitudes” must be changed before doctrine can sheds new light on the recent events in the Vatican, including the audiences with Fr. James Martin, SJ and Sr. Lucia Caram, and the LGBT pilgrimage.
He continues, and rather than stating such changes were impossible, Leo says:
I find it highly unlikely, certainly in the immediate future, that the Church’s doctrine in terms of what the Church teaches about sexuality, what the Church teaches about marriage [will change].
Later, instead of stating that the Church’s teaching could not change, he merely said that he thought that it would remain the same:
I think that the Church’s teaching will continue as it is, and that’s what I have to say about that for right now.
This language is deeply inadequate. The central points of Catholic teaching on sexual morality – including the sinfulness of homosexual acts, as well as fornication, adultery and others – are not contingent, or matters of probabilities and personal conjecture. They are definitive, grounded in both the natural law and divine revelation, and incapable of alteration.
We can know with certainty from reason alone that sexual activity outside of marriage – and thus all sexual activity between persons of the same sex – is contrary to the natural law.
This is also a dogma of the faith, as divinely revealed in Holy Scripture and proposed by the universal ordinary magisterium of the Church. Vatican I taught that such truths are to be believed with divine and Catholic faith.

Over 2,000 people packed the pews at St. Patrick’s Cathedral last night to hear priest, theologian, philosopher, and exorcist Fr. Chad Ripperger. Introduced by Colin Nykaza and Fr. Enrique Salvo, Fr. Chad Ripperger spoke for over an hour on “Levels of Spiritual Warfare and Our Lady” — earning a rousing standing ovation.
While in 1963, it might have taken just one or two days to exorcise a demon, the amount of time it takes has since grown to months and now years — an average of four years today. While acknowledging that demonic possession is relatively uncommon (0.5% of the population), Fr. Ripperger estimated that 10-15% are demonically oppressed and 25% demonically obsessed, explaining that “Every mortal sin opens the door” to demonic influence because it places a person under the authority of Satan. The number of cases due to involvement in the occult has also been on the rise.
For protection, Fr. Ripperger urged Catholics to stay out of sin and maintain a state of grace by leading a Catholic life of the sacraments and prayer. He suggested that a 30-day prayer prescription will clear everything out (other than possession) 80% of the time and recommended a disciplined daily prayer and self-denial practice. Fr. Ripperger has said that exorcists often fast by eating one meal per day, six days a week. This practice helps provide spiritual protection.
Despite living in a time of a drastic increase in societal oppression, there is good news: “This is an unprecedented time to grow holy!” Fr. Ripperger said. “There are graces available today [such that] your odds of becoming a saint are higher. Every person, and every family, is called to defeat their demons.”

Chicago Mayor is Mental:
“Jails and incarceration and law enforcement is a sickness that has not led to safe communities,” Chicago Mayor Brandon Johnson declared during a fiery press conference Tuesday, adding that he intends to “eradicate” that sickness.
Johnson made the remarks after a reporter asked him about his administration’s public safety plan. During his diatribe, the mayor cited four years of Chicago murder data, beginning with the city’s record-setting 970 killings in 1974. He noted there were 828 murders in 1995, 778 in 2016, and 805 in 2021.
“This has been a problem in this city for a very long time,” Johnson said, claiming the city is seeing improvement due to his initiatives. Now, the mayor claimed, President Donald Trump “wants to put his name on our paper” and take credit for the latest downtrend.
But Johnson chose outlier years to bolster his point, including the city’s worst year on record, while overlooking the longer trend of steady decline. Between 2004 and 2013, Chicago never recorded more than 513 killings in a year, and most years stayed under 450, according to official records. In 2015, the city had 493 murders, well below the 778 he cited for 2016. And the 2021 total occurred during the pandemic crime surge.
To be sure, 2025’s murder count is on pace to show marked improvement. But the city’s long-term decline came during the very period Johnson described as plagued by a “sickness” of arrests and incarceration.
“We’re offering a better pathway so we don’t have 970 people murdered in our city every single year,” Johnson said, despite the fact that Chicago has not approached that figure in decades and has never tied or exceeded it.
“I get so sick and tired of people believing that the only thing that Black and Brown and poor people get to get in this city are badges,” he continued. “No. It’s a sickness and we’re gonna eradicate it.”
Ald. Brendan Reilly (42nd), who recently announced a campaign to unseat Cook County Board President Toni Preckwinkle, pounced on the remarks.
“Every once in a while, President Preckwinkle & her protégé Mayor Johnson can’t help but let slip their indifference toward crime victims & their outright animosity toward local law enforcement,” Reilly wrote on Twitter. “Putting violent criminals in prison doesn’t protect communities?!?
I will always stand with the victims of crime and back our courageous women & men in Blue, while promoting constitutional policing. Violent criminals must always be held accountable for their crimes.”

NEW Assassination Attempt Against Top Conservative Just Thwarted:

A ponytailed man from New Hampshire plotting to assassinate the state’s Republican governor has been taken off the streets after authorities uncovered a shocking digital trail of violent threats and bomb-making boasts. Tristan Anderson, 22, is accused of threatening to kill Gov. Kelly Ayotte using homemade pipe bombs — weapons authorities described as a “weapon of mass destruction.”
According to prosecutors, Anderson first came to the attention of law enforcement after allegedly bragging to a roommate on Snapchat about his bomb-making skills. Screenshots and videos allegedly showed him displaying the materials for his devices and boasting of his ability to turn fireworks, metal tubes and bags of nuts and bolts into deadly weapons.
An arrest warrant states that Anderson has previously complained about an “Israel Deep State” running the state and federal governments. Prosecutors said in court this month that a string of racially-charged, anti-Semitic rants revealed his fixation on Jewish Americans and his hatred for Ayotte, who is Catholic. He also issued threats to “kill” members of the New Hampshire GOP committee, accusing them of believing that “they speak for the rest of NH residents.”
Authorities say Anderson shared other disturbing posts, including his declaration that he is “convinced my generation is full of w\*\*\*\*s” and videos promoting anti-Jewish conspiracy theories. His online footprint painted a portrait of a young man marinating in violent rhetoric and fringe conspiracy theories.
The chilling investigation began when the roommate decided to alert police. The roommate reported Anderson possessed firearms and bomb-making components including fireworks, metal tubes, and bags of nuts and bolts he promised to fashion into pipe bombs. This tip sent investigators racing to intercept the plot before anyone was harmed.
Anderson has been locked up since August at the Merrimack County Jail, where he is being held without bail. He now faces a slate of charges including criminal threatening and threatening a government official. The speed of the investigation and the aggressive charges reflect just how seriously authorities are taking threats against elected officials in the post-2024 political environment.
Gov. Ayotte did not respond to a request for comment by the Daily Mail. But her security team and state officials are treating the case as a stark warning about the violent climate confronting conservatives nationwide.
Anderson’s arrest took place just weeks before suspected gunman Tyler Anderson opened fire on a Utah college gathering, killing conservative activist Charlie Kirk — a grim reminder of how dangerous threats can quickly become deadly reality. In the wake of these incidents, lawmakers and political leaders are ramping up security, canceling outdoor appearances or moving them indoors.
Ayotte, who was inaugurated as New Hampshire’s governor in 2025, previously served in the U.S. Senate from 2011 to 2017. Her election in 2024 was one of the rare bright spots for blue-state Republicans. Despite President Donald Trump losing New Hampshire, Ayotte defeated Democrat Joyce Craig by 8 points, a decisive margin credited to her relentless local outreach and disciplined messaging.
In fact, Ayotte managed to win by ignoring the political minefields dominating national headlines. She never once mentioned the Israel-Hamas war despite the roiling debate on college campuses for much of 2024. Her only commentary on the region, the outlet noted, appears to be a 2014 op-ed in which she criticized Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas, writing that Abbas “has embarked on a destructive course harmful to the prospects for rebuilding Gaza and achieving Israeli–Palestinian peace.”
Chris Vetter, director of Safety Services at the State House, told the New Hampshire Monitor that officials are on high alert and taking the increased threats seriously. “We’re aware of what’s going on nationally,” Vetter said. “We’re going to remain vigilant.”
The arrest of Tristan Anderson underlines a dangerous trend: fringe extremists targeting Republican leaders with threats of violence while marinating in conspiracy theories and online radicalization. It’s a scenario that has become all too common as the political temperature spikes across the country.
Whether the justice system will ultimately convict Anderson on the most serious charges remains to be seen, but for now New Hampshire officials say the immediate danger has been contained — and they intend to keep it that way.

Texas authorities are now facing a baffling and disturbing mystery: the sudden, shocking death of a young Republican congressional staffer who had dedicated her life to serving her community. Regina Santos-Aviles, a trusted aide to Representative Tony Gonzales (R-TX), collapsed without warning inside her own home — and the strange circumstances surrounding her final hours have sparked questions far beyond Uvalde.
Law enforcement officials in Uvalde confirmed this week that the case remains under active investigation. Texas Rangers are now participating in the search for evidence, digging for answers about what caused the 35-year-old to collapse late Saturday night. Despite the combined efforts of local police and state investigators, no one has yet explained why a healthy and politically active staffer’s life ended so abruptly.
Santos-Aviles was rushed to an area hospital after her collapse but was pronounced dead early the next morning.
According to a report from the Bexar County Medical Examiner, she died at 6:34 a.m. on Sunday. The report lists no official cause of death, News 4 San Antonio revealed. Fellow station KSAT likewise reported that the cause and manner of death remain under investigation — leaving a gaping hole of uncertainty and fueling speculation about what really happened inside her home.
Even Uvalde’s top law enforcement official admits the case is unlike anything his department has seen. UPD Chief Homer Delgado confirmed on Monday that officers found no sign of foul play or a struggle at Santos-Aviles’s home, where she was discovered unconscious. “We are working closely with the victim’s family, who are fully cooperating with our investigators during this difficult time. At this point, there is no indication of foul play. As is our standard procedure, all unattended deaths are investigated,” he said.
Delgado also called on the local community to remain patient as investigators sort through the facts and not rush to judgment. “In times of loss, our greatest duty is to stand together, support one another, and honor the memory of those we have lost,” the police chief said.
But even as police try to keep a lid on speculation, disturbing new details have emerged. The Daily Mail reported that Santos-Aviles allegedly caught fire inside her own home before her collapse, according to family members who spoke with the outlet. This shocking claim, if confirmed, would add a macabre twist to an already troubling case.
The young woman’s mother, Nora Ann Gonzales, reportedly arrived on the evening of September 13 to find her daughter in distress and immediately called 911. In a heart-wrenching revelation, Gonzales said her daughter’s final words were, “I don’t want to die.”
The fire department was also drawn into the mystery. “When we arrived, we learned of a fire behind the residence that had been put out with a fire extinguisher,” Fire Chief Mario Rangel told the San Antonio Express-News. The notion of a mysterious blaze at the very moment of her collapse raises questions about whether the public has been told the full story.
Santos-Aviles was remembered as a “devoted mother” to her eight-year-old son and as a rising figure in local politics who cared deeply about Uvalde’s future. Before joining Representative Gonzales’s office in 2021 as local district director, she had worked at the Uvalde Area Chamber of Commerce, where colleagues said she was known for her relentless energy and passion for improving her community.
Representative Gonzales posted a solemn Bible verse to social media after her death: “‘Now may the Lord of peace himself give you peace at all times and in every way. The Lord be with all of you.’ 2 Thessalonians 3:16,” he wrote.
In his official statement, Gonzales added, “We are all heart-stricken by the recent news. Regina devoted her profession toward making a difference in her community. She will always be remembered for her passion towards Uvalde and helping the community become a better place.”
A representative for the Texas Rangers declined to respond to a request for comment from the Daily Caller. But their involvement, coupled with the shocking claim of a fire at the scene, has left many wondering whether the public is on the verge of learning far more about this tragic death.
For now, the death of Regina Santos-Aviles stands as an unresolved mystery — a dark and unsettling event that has shaken a conservative Texas community and drawn national attention. As investigators work to piece together the final hours of a devoted mother and loyal congressional staffer, friends and neighbors are left to grapple with grief and unanswered questions.

Marine One Makes Emergency Landing

Marine One carrying President Donald Trump and First Lady Melania Trump was forced into an emergency landing in the United Kingdom Thursday, prompting a last-minute scramble to transfer the first couple to another helicopter. According to White House officials, what should have been a routine 20-minute flight turned into a tense 40-minute ordeal when the presidential helicopter developed a serious mechanical problem mid-air.
White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt confirmed the incident, telling reporters the switch was due to a “hydraulics issue” that appeared mid-flight. “Out of an abundance of caution, the pilots landed at a local airfield before reaching Stansted Airport,” Leavitt said. “The president and first lady safely boarded the support helicopter.”
The Trumps are currently in the UK for their second state visit, and Thursday’s scare underscored the high stakes and security concerns surrounding every moment of a presidential trip abroad. Even though officials called the issue “minor,” the fact that Marine One — the most closely maintained helicopter in the world — had to make an emergency landing overseas has already sparked speculation about how such a problem could occur.
Fox News reported: “President Donald Trump and the first lady had to transfer from Marine One to a support helicopter Thursday after a hydraulic issue forced an unscheduled landing at a local airfield on the way to Stansted Airport in England.”
White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt reiterated to Fox and other outlets that the switch was due to a “minor hydraulic issue.” “Out of an abundance of caution, the pilots landed at a local airfield before reaching Stansted Airport,” Leavitt said again. “The president and first lady safely boarded the support helicopter.”
The president and first lady were en route from the prime minister’s Chequers landing zone to Stansted Airport when the issue emerged. Though the flight was scheduled to last only 20 minutes, it ultimately took nearly 40 minutes to complete the trip due to the unscheduled landing and helicopter swap. The White House emphasized that the president and first lady were never in danger.
However, the incident has fueled questions and concern. Marine One is part of the elite presidential air fleet maintained by the U.S. Marine Corps and supported by Secret Service and White House Military Office personnel. The helicopter is regularly inspected and updated with cutting-edge technology to ensure safety and reliability. Mechanical issues forcing an unscheduled landing are rare, and for such an event to occur on foreign soil is even rarer.
Supporters of the president were quick to note that the pilots and crew acted swiftly and professionally, preventing what could have been a catastrophic situation. Critics, meanwhile, speculated about whether Marine One’s maintenance schedule was up to par during a high-profile foreign trip.
The Trumps’ state visit to the UK has been billed as a strengthening of ties between the two countries following the president’s reelection. The trip includes meetings with Prime Minister Rishi Sunak, ceremonial events, and multiple public appearances designed to underscore the “special relationship” between Washington and London.
Despite the scare, President Trump continued with his schedule after landing safely at Stansted Airport aboard the support helicopter. White House aides said the president was unfazed and quickly resumed preparing for his next meeting.
For decades, Marine One has been synonymous with presidential security and reliability. The helicopter, usually a VH-3D Sea King or VH-60N White Hawk, is designed to withstand almost any contingency. Each aircraft in the fleet is backed up by support helicopters and decoy aircraft to confuse potential attackers. Thursday’s incident demonstrated that even with the best maintenance and security protocols in the world, mechanical failures can still strike at the most inconvenient moment.
With the UK trip continuing and no injuries reported, officials emphasized that the president and first lady are safe and the issue is under review. “Out of an abundance of caution” may have been the phrase of the day, but the incident also showed that even the White House takes nothing for granted when it comes to safeguarding the Commander in Chief abroad.
As one veteran of presidential travel put it after the emergency landing, “This is exactly why you always have a Plan B.”

WARNING!!! Without my permission someone, or ones, have put up a platform on Telegram under my picture and name of Judy Byington. I DO NOT have a Telegram Platform. I DO NOT set up Quantum Financial Accounts. On Sat. 13 Sept. 2025 in that Byington Platform Chat 6226 it said that I was offering to set up Quantum Financial Accounts for people. This is a SCAM!!! – likely by the Deep State Cabal to confiscate your money. As I understand it, Quantum Financial Accounts will be set up for you for free when you go to your appointment at an official Redemption Center, notification of which will be sent to everyone after the EBS goes off.
Judy Note: It is my personal opinion, and I could easily be wrong, that when we hear the EBS go off with the sound of Seven Trumpets, we can soon expect to receive several messages on our cell phones generated from the new Starlink Satellite System. One of those messages should contain information about how to gain a redemption center appointment. Those who don’t have foreign currency to exchange will use their appointment to set themselves up for banking, med bed treatment and voting using personal cell phones linked up to the Starlink Satellite System, while we with currency and bonds will do the same, plus be able to do our exchange.
Possible Timing of the Global Currency Reset:
· On Sat. 13 Sept. 2025 President Trump gave the Green Light for EBS Activation, including an ok for the Global Military Alliance to take over fake news media and make mass arrests, plus he activated the Global Currency Reset (GCR) worldwide.
· At 9am Iraqi Time on that same Sat. 13 Sept. 2025 the Governor of the Central Bank of Iraq had announced on TV that the Iraqi Dinar (called the kingpin of the GCR) had revalued and would officially go live on Sun. 14 Sept. 2025.
· Official Redemption Centers to exchange foreign currencies and redeem Zim Bonds were already open worldwide and had been exchanging those in Tiers 1,2,3.
· Tier4b (us, the Internet Group) would begin booking currency exchange and Zim Bond redemption appointments at the same time as they could book Med Bed appointments, all of which notification to book those appointments was imminent.
· Those appointments would be booked through the Star Link Satellite System, not through text or email, and on a national or global number that was hooked to a Military secure Website
· On Mon. 15 Sept. 2025 Markets and certain Banks (Chase, Wells Fargo, HSBC) were said to be open for the general public who wanted to exchange Dinar and Dong at banks. That would be for a much lower rate than could be obtained through waiting for an official Redemption Center Appointment. Some banks may exchange foreign currencies only for those they invited to the appointment. The rates awarded were dependent upon the bank’s contract with the QFS and the fluxing rate on the bank’s back screen of the Forex at the time of the appointment.
