Billings Surge Past $42 Billion - A Rising Stand for Accountability


InPower’s commercial billings have now surpassed $42 billion, marking a powerful acceleration in the movement to hold for-profit governmental and corporate actors to account. Quebec’s attempt to enshrine a “freedom” to obtain an abortion in its proposed provincial constitution has triggered an unexpected revolt, not from pro-lifers, but from pro-abortion activists themselves.


What the government assumed would be celebrated as a progressive move has instead been attacked as politically dangerous by abortion advocates who fear it will hand the pro-life movement exactly what it has long lacked: a clear legal target.


That fear was confirmed when Georges Buscemi, president of Quebec Life Coalition, stated openly in recent interviews with mainstream media outlets that constitutionalizing abortion would give pro-lifers a concrete objective to challenge.


“It adds something concrete, a kind of target to take down,” he explained, calling such an addition “another rallying point” for pro-life groups.

His comments ignited panic among abortion activists, who launched a public campaign warning that enshrining abortion could “open a breach” in the so-called right and allow pro-lifers to contest it in court.


The backlash grew so intense that Quebec Justice Minister Simon Jolin-Barrette intervened, insisting that “Quebecers do not want to be intimidated” by anti-abortion groups.


Yet the anxiety within the pro-abortion camp reveals something deeper. Despite the dominance of pro-abortion ideology in Quebec’s media, universities, and political class, abortion advocates appear unsure of their footing. They are now turning on one another. It is a bizarre kind of civil war, unlike anything I’ve ever seen before.


The moment reminds me of the story of Jehoshaphat in Second Chronicles. As the people of Judah worshipped, God caused the invading armies that had come to destroy them to turn against one another. In a divinely arranged ambush, the armies of Ammon and Moab first attacked the men of Mount Seir and then afterward destroyed each other. The entire enemy force collapsed without Judah lifting a sword.


It remains to be seen what will come of this frenzy where, it appears, the two normally allied sides may tear each other apart. Perhaps this is part of God’s strategy for bringing about a victory for life in Quebec. If so, may it happen soon.

Nobel Peace Prize Laureate Blocked from Ceremony by Maduro Regime

Kristian Berg Harpviken, director of the Norwegian Nobel Institute, stated that Machado would not be present at Oslo City Hall when the ceremony begins at 1:00 p.m. local time. The absence marks a somber reminder of the authoritarian conditions facing those who dare challenge Venezuela’s ruling regime.


Machado, a former lawmaker and leader of Vente Venezuela, the nation’s only mainstream center-right political party, has been forced into hiding at an undisclosed location within Venezuela. Her concealment follows the fraudulent presidential election of July 2024, after which the Maduro regime leveled charges against her including conspiracy, incitement to hatred, and terrorism. These accusations, dubious in nature and typical of authoritarian governments seeking to silence opposition, carry the threat of immediate arrest.


The travel ban itself dates to 2014, imposed as punishment for Machado’s support of anti-regime protests that year. That restriction remains in force today, a decade-long sentence for the crime of advocating for democratic principles.


In October, the Norwegian Nobel Committee recognized Machado’s courage with the 2025 Nobel Peace Prize, citing her tireless work promoting democratic rights for the Venezuelan people and her struggle to achieve a peaceful transition from dictatorship to democracy. The award represents international acknowledgment of her sacrifice and determination in the face of authoritarian oppression.


Machado’s current whereabouts remain unknown to the public. Her sister, Clara Machado, told Colombian media Tuesday that the family believed she would attempt to reach Oslo, though uncertainty surrounded the possibility. “At this moment, we don’t really know. She is trying to get to Oslo, which is her wish,” Clara Machado said.


Venezuelan Attorney General Tarek William Saab made clear in late November that the regime actively seeks Machado’s arrest. He threatened to declare her a fugitive should she leave Venezuela, stating that being outside the country while facing criminal investigations would constitute fugitive status. The circular logic is characteristic of authoritarian legal systems where the law serves power rather than justice.


Several regional heads of state have travelled to Oslo for the ceremony in a show of solidarity with Machado and the Venezuelan opposition. Argentina’s Javier Milei, Panama’s José Raúl Mulino, Ecuador’s Daniel Noboa, and Paraguay’s Santiago Peña all expressed their intention to stand with her, even in her absence. Their presence represents a unified regional rejection of the Maduro regime’s legitimacy.


Jørgen Watne Frydnes, chair of the Norwegian Nobel Committee, acknowledged in November the dangers Machado would face attempting to leave Venezuela, noting the organization’s awareness that such a journey would be perilous.

The situation in Venezuela continues to deteriorate under socialist rule. What was once one of South America’s wealthiest nations, blessed with vast oil reserves, has been reduced to economic ruin and political repression. The Maduro regime’s refusal to allow a Nobel Peace Prize laureate to accept her award on the world stage speaks volumes about the nature of the government and the desperation with which it clings to power.


That María Corina Machado remains committed to her cause despite these circumstances demonstrates the courage that earned her this recognition. Her empty chair in Oslo will serve as a powerful symbol of the ongoing struggle for freedom in Venezuela.

The facts are staggering, and they reveal a fundamental failure of government oversight that allowed thousands of fraudulent refugees into the United States for years.

Between 2003 and 2008, the P-3 refugee pipeline brought approximately 36,000 primarily African refugees into the United States, with the overwhelming majority settling in Minnesota. The program, established under the Refugee Act of 1980, permitted refugees already in America to sponsor their spouses, unmarried children, and parents for refugee status. During this period, Africans, including Somalis, represented more than 95 percent of all P-3 program arrivals.


Here is where the story becomes deeply troubling. In March 2008, President George W. Bush suspended the program after the State Department uncovered what can only be described as systematic, widespread fraud. The evidence was damning.


The State Department began requiring DNA testing for P-3 refugees from Somalia, Ethiopia, and Liberia to verify claimed biological relationships. The results, published in a November 2008 report, were shocking. The agency could confirm biological relationships in fewer than 20 percent of cases. Let that sink in. More than 80 percent of the tested family relationships were fraudulent.


The testing began with approximately 500 refugees, primarily Somali and Ethiopian, in Nairobi, Kenya. When those initial results suggested massive fraud, the State Department expanded testing to Ethiopia, Uganda, Ghana, Guinea, Gambia, and Côte d’Ivoire. Eventually, roughly 3,000 refugees underwent DNA testing, most from Somalia, Ethiopia, and Liberia.


Retired Immigration and Customs Enforcement official Charles Thaddeus Fillinger published a comprehensive 30-page analysis in July 2018, calling this debacle “the greatest refugee fraud crisis in modern times” and “possibly the biggest blunder in immigration history.” His assessment is not hyperbole.


Fillinger noted that thousands of fraudulent refugees, most using false identities, entered the United States for years before authorities suspended the program. He drew a stark comparison: when 25 percent of the American workforce was unemployed during the 1930s, we called it the Great Depression. With fraud levels approaching 100 percent in the P-3 program, calling it the greatest refugee fraud crisis in modern times is simply accurate.


The implications extend far beyond statistics. These were not minor paperwork errors or administrative oversights. This was systematic fraud involving false identities and fabricated family relationships. The program was designed to reunite legitimate refugee families. Instead, it became a pipeline for individuals with no valid claim to refugee status.

The Obama administration reinstated the P-3 program in 2012 after implementing reforms, including mandatory DNA testing for all applicants. While this reform addresses the specific fraud mechanism, it raises an obvious question: how many fraudulent refugees entered during those five years, and where are they now?


The federal government’s failure here is multifaceted. First, authorities allowed the program to operate for years without adequate verification mechanisms. Second, even after discovering the fraud, the government provided no clear accounting of how many fraudulent refugees gained entry or what actions were taken to address those already in the country.


This is not about legitimate refugees fleeing persecution. This is about protecting the integrity of America’s immigration system and ensuring that refugee programs serve their intended purpose. When fraud rates exceed 80 percent, the system is not merely broken. It has been exploited on a massive scale, and American taxpayers deserve answers about how this happened and what consequences followed.

Hold onto your hats, folks -- Texas politics just got a whole lot spicier with controversial Congresswoman Jasmine Crockett tossing her name into the 2026 U.S. Senate race, as the Daily Mail reports.

On Monday, the Democrat firebrand from Texas filed paperwork to challenge for a Senate seat, a move that’s already stirring up a storm of debate over her past rhetoric and financial transparency.

This decision comes on the heels of former Congressman Collin Allred stepping back from the Senate contest, opting instead for a House run to dodge what he called a messy primary battle.

Crockett’s Bold Move Sparks Early Scrutiny

Allred’s exit, aimed at avoiding “an ugly primary” and a potential runoff on March 3, has left the Democratic field open for Crockett to face off against state Rep. James Talarico in the primary.

The winner will take on either Republican Sen. John Cornyn or a GOP challenger like Attorney General Ken Paxton, setting the stage for a bruising showdown.

Crockett, a civil rights attorney, isn’t exactly entering this race under a halo of calm -- she was scheduled to hold a press conference in Dallas to presumably address the growing buzz.


Fiery Rhetoric Draws National Attention

Her national profile skyrocketed with sharp-tongued jabs, like branding Donald Trump as “Temu Hitler,” a label that’s raised eyebrows even among those weary of political correctness.

While her supporters might cheer the boldness, such rhetoric risks alienating voters who crave civility over clever insults in these polarized times.

She didn’t stop there, taking aim at Georgia Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene with a viral quip about a “bleach blonde bad built butch body,” later attempting to trademark the phrase for her campaign.


Financial Disclosures Raise Ethical Questions

Beyond the soundbites, Crockett’s financial dealings are under the microscope after Federal Election Commission filings showed her campaign splurged at least $75,000 on luxury hotels, travel, and security this year.

More troubling, she traded 25 stocks while in Congress, including shares in giants like Amazon and ExxonMobil, without disclosing them during her 2022 campaign or after taking office in 2023.

With undisclosed debts exceeding $110,000 and potential conflicts tied to legislation she backed, ethics experts warn that her inconsistent disclosures between Texas and federal filings could invite serious investigation.


Personal Conduct Adds to Campaign Challenges

Her advocacy for marijuana decriminalization, while tied to her firm’s pursuit of dispensary licenses in Ohio, overlaps awkwardly with representing a defendant in a fatal cannabis-related case.

Then there’s the social media misstep during the tragic Texas floods that claimed over 100 lives, where Crockett’s Instagram post shifted from disaster commentary to highlighting her new haircut, leaving many to question her priorities.

While she did address the floods’ impact in the video, the tone-deaf pivot to personal style in a time of crisis underscores a broader concern about her readiness for the Senate’s gravitas.

Canada and the European Union are teaming up on controversial new digital agreements covering everything from artificial intelligence to digital identity and media censorship. The move has sparked immediate warnings from civil-liberties groups about a looming threat to privacy and online freedom.


The agreements were announced Monday in Montreal during the first meeting of the EU–Canada Digital Partnership Council, held alongside the G7 Industry, Digital and Technology Ministerial meeting.


The Council was co-chaired by EU Executive Vice-President Henna Virkkunen and Canada’s Minister of Artificial Intelligence and Digital Innovation, Evan Solomon.

In a joint statement, both sides said the initiative aims to “boost competitiveness, innovation and economic resilience.” Specific commitments include developing “trustworthy artificial intelligence technologies that respect fundamental rights” and accelerating AI adoption across healthcare, manufacturing, energy, culture and public services.


To advance this work, Canada and the EU signed a Memorandum of Understanding on Artificial Intelligence. It will support joint standards development, expand research collaboration and create shared access to large AI infrastructures and computing capacity.


They also agreed to create a structured dialogue on data spaces used to train advanced AI models.

A second memorandum, focused on digital credentials and trust services, commits the two jurisdictions to explore interoperability between digital identity systems. This includes pilot testing, technical standards and “solutions based on digital identity wallets,” according to the EU summary of the agreement.


The EU said the partnership marks “a significant step in strengthening our cooperation to build the economy of tomorrow,” with Virkkunen noting that “no single region can face the digital transformation alone.”


Solomon said the initiative reflects long-standing ties between the two partners, adding: “The Canada-EU relationship is based on shared values and interests, a long history of close cooperation and strong people-to-people ties. Through the Digital Partnership, Canada and the EU are shaping a digital future that benefits people, grows the economy and builds trust between countries.”

The section of the agreement dealing with digital identity systems has drawn criticism from constitutional rights advocates.

The Justice Centre for Constitutional Freedoms said in a post on X that cooperation on “digital credentials and trust services… including solutions based on digital identity wallets” represents a step toward a nationwide digital identification regime. The group warned that the framework risks “pushing citizens into a Digital ID system that will control and track our money and reduce our freedom.”

The partnership also includes working together on ‘supporting independent media, combating foreign information manipulation and addressing risks posed by generative AI’.

Some of the federal government’s largest employers, including the RCMP and the Departments of Health, Justice, Immigration, Natural Resources and Public Works, declined to report their figures.


Meanwhile, the Department of Foreign Affairs said there were too many to count.

“The department manages an extensive network of 182 missions in 112 countries,” read the inquiry. “It undertook an extensive preliminary search in order to determine the amount of information that would fall within the scope of the question and the amount of time that would be required to prepare a comprehensive response.”

According to the Immigration department, providing the data was “not possible in the time allotted.”


“The department is committed to providing an inclusive, equitable and respectful work environment for all,” it said.

A staggering $1.049 billion has been spent by the government on diversity, equity and inclusion programs since 2016, according to a previous Inquiry Of Ministry tabled in the Commons in September.
