TORONTO:

The proposed island airport expansion could affect housing development in South Etobicoke and downtown Toronto.

By Alan Carter

An updated plan for a neighbourhood of 21,000 people to live on Ookwemin Minising Island, previously known as Villier Island, passed an important step at City Hall on Thursday. But the proposed expansion of Billy Bishop Airport may force that plan to change again.

Ookwemin Minising Island, which means “place of the black cherry trees,” was created by the flood protection project at the foot of the Don River. Artists’ renderings of the upcoming neighbourhood show a mix of streets, parks, pedestrian areas, housing, and at its heart, a car-free thoroughfare. The original concept from 2024 has now increased in density with 300 to 800 more affordable housing units, along with several other important improvements.

“It feels much more refined, it feels much more urban,” urban planner Blair Scorgie tells CityNews. “It very much sort of feels as though it was responding to a lot of the critique that I and others were providing of the 2024 plan. It feels like a unique place with its own sense of identity.”

The unknown is the airport across the harbour from the newly planned community. The provincial government has recently expropriated land from Toronto, with the express purpose of expanding the airport and allowing jets. The building plan for Ookwemin Minising is designed for the current smaller turboprop aircraft that currently use the island airport.

“So how the different tall buildings are oriented on Ookwemin Minising Island are designed around those flight paths. So, of course, any changes to the flight paths could affect how density and height is distributed around the island,” explained Toronto’s chief planner Jason Thorne.

Since there are no details yet on what an expanded airport would look like, the building plan for the island could be up in the air.

“We’re getting closer to actually putting shovels in the ground, and are we now also at a point where the Ford government is going to cause an unnecessary roadblock by expanding the island airport to jet service?” asks Scorgie.

The housing plan for the area has now passed the Housing and Planning Committee at Toronto City Hall and will next head to full city council, where the expectation is that people will start moving into the neighbourhood sometime in 2031.

Conservative MP Dean Allison Announces Inquiry into COVID-19 Vaccines

Conservative MP Dean Allison holds a news conference on Parliament Hill to make an announcement on an inquiry into Canadians who may have been injured by COVID-19 vaccines. He is joined by Shawn Buckley (lawyer) and Theresa Buckley (inquiry volunteer). (June 4, 2026) (no interpretation)

OTTAWA — Conservative MP Dean Allison announced a new initiative Thursday aimed at collecting the experiences of Canadians who say they suffered adverse health effects following COVID-19 vaccinations.

Speaking on Parliament Hill, Allison said the project is intended to give affected Canadians an opportunity to share their stories and ensure their experiences are documented.

“When people come forward with concerns about their health, their first response should never be dismissal, it should be listening,” Allison said.

“The individuals sharing their experiences through projects such as the Allison Inquiry are not statistics. They are mothers, our fathers, our sons, our daughters, our friends and our neighbours.”

Allison argued Canada has lagged behind other democratic countries in reviewing the effects of pandemic-era policies.

“Canada has increasingly become an outlier among democratic nations when it comes to reviewing what happened during the pandemic,” he said, noting that countries including the United Kingdom, Australia and New Zealand have undertaken public reviews or inquiries.

While stopping short of calling for a national public inquiry, Allison said the initiative would provide a more immediate way for Canadians to tell their stories.

“What we are proposing is something more immediate and accessible. An opportunity for Canadians to share their experiences, tell their stories and ensure that their voices are heard.”

Asked by the Western Standard whether the initiative had the support of Conservative Leader Pierre Poilievre, Allison said he had discussed the project with both Poilievre and members of the Conservative caucus.

“Oh absolutely, I talked to Pierre about this, I talked to caucus about it,” Allison said.

“The amazing thing about it is that every single member of Parliament I have talked to have heard these same stories.”

Allison added that Poilievre regularly encounters Canadians raising similar concerns.

“If you asked Pierre, he is out and about working hard. I know that he hears these stories all the time.”

Allison also pointed to federal data showing more than 58,000 adverse events have been reported following COVID-19 vaccinations in Canada, including more than 11,000 classified as serious.

The government data cut off was on January 5th, 2024.

He noted that the federal Vaccine Injury Support Program has received more than 3,500 claims, with over 3,000 deemed eligible for review.

“The government acknowledged that people have been injured and yet only over 250 people have been compensated,” Allison said.

Allison concluded his remarks by asserting his belief that vaccine injured Canadians deserve to be compensated

“Whether one supports or opposes government pandemic policies, I believe Canadians agree in one principle. If people have been harmed, they deserve compensation, support, transparency, and timely assistance.”

THIS IS “HUGE”!

TRUMP:

House rejects Tlaib war powers resolution on Lebanon in lopsided 324-92 vote

By

The House dealt Rep. Rashida Tlaib a decisive defeat Thursday, voting 324 to 92 to block her war powers resolution that would have directed President Trump to withdraw U.S. armed forces from Lebanon within seven days. The margin was not close, and the Michigan Democrat's own party leadership helped ensure it wasn't.

House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries, Democratic Whip Katherine Clark, and Democratic Caucus Chair Pete Aguilar all came out against the measure before the vote, issuing a joint statement that undercut Tlaib's central premise. CBS News reported that the three Democratic leaders declared flatly that there are no U.S. servicemembers involved in combat operations or hostilities in Lebanon.

That left Tlaib arguing for a withdrawal from a conflict her own leadership said does not exist, at least not in the way her resolution described it.

Tlaib's claims and the floor clash

Tlaib forced the vote after weeks of fighting between Israel and the Iranian-backed militant group Hezbollah in southern Lebanon. She framed the United States as an "active participant" in what she called Israel's "ethnic cleansing campaign" and "war crimes." Those are her words, labeled as framing claims, not established facts.

On the House floor Wednesday night, Tlaib made a specific accusation about the Trump administration's role:

"The Trump administration is providing intelligence, coordinating strikes and demonstrating overt command over Israeli decisions."

She offered no publicly cited evidence for that claim during floor debate. The resolution itself directed the president to pull U.S. armed forces "from Lebanon" within a week of adoption, broad language that drew objections from both sides of the aisle.

Rep. Brian Mast, the Florida Republican who chairs the House Foreign Affairs Committee, pointed out the obvious problem. Tlaib was asking to remove forces "from a country where we are not in conflict," he said.

The exchange grew heated. Rep. Max Miller, an Ohio Republican, addressed Tlaib directly during debate and did not mince words:

"Hezbollah is a terrorist organization... and its members are butchers that you like to hang out with to a certain extent. You advocate for terrorists on a daily basis."

Tlaib fired back that Miller's remarks were "an attack on my character" and demanded his words be stricken from the Congressional Record. They were.

The pattern is familiar. Tlaib has built a record of legislative provocations that generate floor fireworks but produce little in the way of results. Her recent proposal to redirect $168 billion from defense spending to an "Unhoused Bill of Rights" followed the same trajectory, a progressive wish list with no realistic path to passage.

Democratic leaders break with their own member

What made Thursday's vote notable was not just the lopsided margin. It was the speed and clarity with which Democratic leadership moved to distance itself from Tlaib's resolution.

Jeffries, Clark, and Aguilar issued their statement before the vote, not after. They acknowledged the situation in Lebanon but steered hard toward a different posture, saying they "stand with the Lebanese people, the government of Lebanon and the Lebanese Armed Forces in their efforts to live peacefully and defeat Hezbollah, a violent terrorist organization that is a sworn enemy of the United States."

That language matters. Democratic leaders explicitly called Hezbollah a violent terrorist organization and a sworn enemy, framing that sits uncomfortably next to Tlaib's resolution, which focused its fire almost entirely on Israel and the Trump administration rather than on the Iranian-backed group waging war in southern Lebanon.

The leaders also pointed to a separate war powers resolution Tlaib introduced Wednesday with updated language. That version narrowed the directive, calling for removal of U.S. forces "from any hostilities in Lebanon" rather than from Lebanon entirely. It also added a carve-out: "Nothing in this concurrent resolution may be construed to prevent or limit security cooperation with the Lebanese Armed Forces or the protection of diplomatic facilities."

Democratic leaders called the updated version "the best legislative vehicle to keep U.S. troops out of Lebanon" and said it could "build consensus." Rep. Gregory Meeks of New York, the top Democrat on the House Foreign Affairs Committee, backed the revised measure. Whether that second resolution gains any traction remains an open question.

Timing and the broader picture

The vote landed the same week as two other significant developments. On Wednesday, the House passed a separate war powers resolution to limit President Trump from taking further military action against Iran without congressional approval, the first time the chamber approved such a measure, as the Iran conflict has begun to lose support among some Republicans.

Also on Wednesday, a U.S.-brokered ceasefire between Israel and Lebanon was announced. That deal is reportedly contingent on Hezbollah ending attacks and withdrawing from part of southern Lebanon.

In other words, the diplomatic track was already moving in the direction Tlaib claimed to want, a reduction in hostilities, while her resolution demanded a unilateral U.S. pullback that her own caucus said addressed a problem that didn't exist in the form she described.

The 92 votes Tlaib did collect represent the far-left flank of the Democratic caucus, but even that number understates how isolated her position was. With only two members voting present, more than three-quarters of the full House voted no. That kind of margin doesn't happen by accident. It happens when leadership on both sides agrees the measure is either unserious, counterproductive, or both.

The Squad's brand of foreign-policy activism has faced a string of setbacks beyond the House floor. Squad-backed candidates went 0 for 6 in recent Illinois primaries, suggesting that the appetite for this strain of progressive politics may be thinner than its loudest advocates believe.

A pattern of symbolic votes

Tlaib's resolution fits a broader pattern in which a small progressive faction uses procedural tools to force floor votes on maximalist positions, not to pass legislation, but to put colleagues on the record and generate media attention. The tactic works as a messaging exercise. It fails as governance.

The approach is not unique to Tlaib or the Squad. But the consistency of the results is worth noting. When 53 House Democrats voted against a resolution naming Iran the top state sponsor of terrorism, it revealed a real fault line within the party on national security. Thursday's 324-92 margin on Lebanon revealed something different: near-total consensus that Tlaib's approach was the wrong one.

Even members sympathetic to restraining presidential war powers found reasons to oppose this particular vehicle. The original resolution's demand to pull forces from a country where, by the Democratic leadership's own admission, no U.S. servicemembers are engaged in combat made the measure easy to dismiss as political theater rather than serious policy.

The updated version Tlaib filed Wednesday attempts to address some of those objections. Its narrower language and explicit carve-outs for Lebanese Armed Forces cooperation and diplomatic facility protection suggest that someone, possibly Meeks, possibly leadership staff, explained to Tlaib why the first draft was dead on arrival.

Whether the second draft fares any better will depend on whether the ceasefire holds and whether the political dynamics around Iran and Lebanon shift in the weeks ahead.

Moments like Thursday's vote also tend to produce the kind of heated floor exchanges that define reputations. Miller's accusation that Tlaib "advocates for terrorists on a daily basis" was struck from the record, but it was heard.

Tlaib's repeated characterization of Israeli military operations as "ethnic cleansing" and "war crimes", language that goes well beyond what U.S. intelligence assessments or allied governments have concluded, was not struck. Both statements will live in the political record regardless of what the Congressional Record officially reflects.

The broader Democratic caucus, meanwhile, tried to thread a needle. Leaders condemned Hezbollah in strong terms, expressed opposition to entangling the United States in a wider Middle East conflict, and pointed to the Iran war powers vote as evidence of their seriousness.

Recent lopsided House votes on other resolutions have exposed similar tensions within the party between its progressive wing and members who prefer not to hand Republicans easy attack lines on national security.

What comes next

Tlaib's second resolution remains pending. The ceasefire announced Wednesday introduces a new variable. If it holds, the urgency behind any Lebanon-focused war powers push fades. If it collapses, the debate returns, but likely on different terms and with different sponsors who carry more institutional weight than a member whose resolution just lost by 232 votes.

The Iran track may prove more consequential. Wednesday's House vote to limit further military action against Iran without congressional approval marked a genuine shift, with Republican defections signaling real unease about the scope of the conflict. That is a debate worth having on the merits. Tlaib's Lebanon resolution was not.

Other Squad members, including Rep. Ilhan Omar, who has faced her own confrontations with constituents and colleagues over foreign policy stances, will likely continue pressing similar measures. The question is whether anyone beyond the same 92 votes is listening.

When your own leadership publicly dismantles your resolution's premise before the vote even starts, the message is hard to miss. The House didn't just reject Tlaib's war powers resolution, it rejected the idea that her brand of foreign policy belongs anywhere near the levers of actual decision-making.

Trump Confirms Mass Rally, Scrapping US 250th Concerts

US President Donald Trump on Thursday announced a mass rally in Washington on June 24 to celebrate America's 250th anniversary, saying he'd canceled planned concerts after several artists pulled out.

"In celebration of our Country's 250 Year History, we will be bringing you, LIVE, the Greatest Rally, EVER! It will be special at every level — A Rally to end all Rallies!" Trump said on his Truth Social network.

"We don't want singers with no talent, but big fees to put you to sleep, we've told them all to stay home," added the 79-year-old Republican.

"All we want is you, me, a few speakers, and the Greatest Music ever played, the same Music you have listened to for years!"

Trump said these would include Lee Greenwood, the singer of "God Bless the USA," a staple of his political rallies.

The rally would also feature US military bands and choruses, "all of your favorite Hits, PLUS a fine and highly dignified gentleman known as, President DONALD J. TRUMP!"

Trump had previously suggested holding a rally for his "Make America Great Again" (MAGA) movement but he did not mention that in his announcement on Thursday.

Trump has tried to stamp his mark on America's 250th birthday, most notably by staging a mixed martial arts fight in a specially constructed arena on the White House lawn on June 14 - his 80th birthday.

But the celebrations have become increasingly complicated.

Shortly after they were announced as performers in a Washington concert series around the July 4 holiday, multiple musical acts backed out, with some citing the event's politicization.

They include country singer Martina McBride and glam rocker Bret Michaels, frontman of 1980s band Poison.

The concerts were scheduled to kick off on June 25 as part of major events on the National Mall organized by Freedom 250, a Trump-backed public-private entity.

The remaining line-up of musicians, including Vanilla Ice and C+C Music Factory, has sparked a flood of sarcastic comments on social media.

"On Wednesday, June 24th, at 7 P.M., in magnificent Washington, D.C., now totally beautified, and one of the Safest Cities anywhere in the World, and in celebration of our Country’s 250 Year History, we will be bringing you, LIVE, the Greatest Rally, EVER! It will be special at every level — A Rally to end all Rallies! We don’t want singers with no talent, but big fees to put you to sleep, we’ve told them all to stay home. All we want is you, me, a few speakers, and the Greatest Music ever played, the same Music you have listened to for years!

We will have the fabulous Lee Greenwood introducing me with what has turned out to be one of the Greatest Hits of All Time, GOD BLESS THE U.S.A., and the amazing Christopher Macchio, who will sing Nessun Dorma, Hallelujah, Ave Maria, God Bless America, and others — Not since the legendary Luciano Pavarotti has there been such a voice! The Rally will also be featuring the wonderful U.S. Army Band “Pershing’s Own” and Armed Forces Choir, and “The President’s Own” Unites States Marine Band, with the Joint Armed Forces Chorus, all of your favorite Hits, PLUS a fine and highly dignified gentleman known as, President DONALD J. TRUMP!"

A senior scientist at one of our nation's most secure biolabs was caught smuggling a virus into the country. Here's what it means for the bigger picture.

On January 26, Vincent Munster arrived at Detroit Metropolitan Airport carrying a black plastic case. Munster, a 53-year-old Dutch scientist, is Chief of the Virus Ecology Section at the NIH’s Rocky Mountain Laboratories (RML) in Hamilton, Montana. RML contains one of the world’s most secure biological research facilities, a BSL-4 lab where the most dangerous pathogens are studied.

Munster told customs agents that his case contained diagnostic equipment, but his nervous-looking colleague triggered their suspicion. When they opened it, they found more than 100 vials packed in coolers. At least 17 contained monkeypox virus, smuggled into the country undeclared from the Republic of Congo...

GLOBAL:

POLITICAL PLAYBOOK

No part of Republicans’ party-line immigration enforcement package has been a cakewalk. That isn’t going to change today.

The overnight news of Todd Blanche’s nomination to formally take on the AG role upped the stakes for Republicans’ revolt over the DOJ’s “Anti Weaponization” fund, which already derailed the reconciliation timeline. Just hours later, the Senate’s vote-a-rama got stuck for the entire morning on Minority Leader Chuck Schumer’s motion to send the bill back to committee to add language killing the “slush fund,” which requires only a simple majority.

In many ways, Blanche’s fate and that of the reconciliation bill are tied. The unequivocal death of the DOJ fund — which President Donald Trump said yesterday he loves — could bolster Blanche’s path ahead, on top of clearing away reconciliation’s biggest hurdle yet.

“What we need to do right now is focus on the [Anti-Weaponization] Fund, or [Blanche is] not going to have a very good time in Judiciary Committee,” Sen. Thom Tillis (R-N.C.) told reporters.

And if this morning is any indication, killing the fund is looking more like a question of how than if. Tillis declined to back Schumer’s motion, but said he does want language to take the fund off the table, telling reporters “we've got to have a treatment for this fund before we get off” of reconciliation, and left the door open to a GOP-led amendment instead. But the motion did get a boost from wildcard Sens. John Fetterman (D-Pa.) and Susan Collins (R-Maine).

The biggest holdout was Sen. Bill Cassidy (R-La.), who spent a significant chunk of the hours-long vote speaking with Senate GOP leaders and colleagues as the vote held at 49 no’s. But Cassidy’s thinking was plain enough in an amicus brief he signed alongside Sen. Cory Booker (D-N.J.) this morning, pushing a federal judge to block the DOJ fund in court. Over two hours later, GOP leaders successfully pushed Cassidy to vote “no” — killing Schumer’s amendment — but clearing the way for on-the-fence Sens. Jon Husted (R-Ohio) and Dan Sullivan (R-Alaska) to cast “yes” votes. Both face tough reelection bids.

But this saga is far from over: Cassidy quickly filed his own amendment to prohibit payments from the DOJ fund. Further amendments will have the harder task of clearing 60 votes.

It was just two days ago that Blanche set off to calm the revolt by declaring the fund basically dead. Doing so spurred more questions than answers, and prompted Democratic senators and some Republicans like Tillis to call the DOJ’s bluff to get it in writing during this amendment process. Earlier calls to keep reconciliation focused entirely on immigration seem to have fallen on deaf ears, with the chamber staring down a marathon voting session going into tonight.

Blanche’s nomination already elicited hints of pushback from GOP senators that he’ll need to get across the finish line to confirmation, POLITICO’s Jordain Carney writes. Sen. John Cornyn (R-Texas) is undecided, telling CNN a key factor for the AG is that “you're also supposed to be able to tell the President ‘no.’” Sen. John Kennedy (R-La.) doesn’t know yet. Tillis has been consistent about rejecting any defenders of the Jan. 6 riot, which Blanche has yet to disavow. Fetterman, who’s been a crucial Democratic vote in favor of past Trump nominees including Pam Bondi, also told reporters he won’t vote for Blanche (or Bill Pulte for DNI).

Blanche told reporters in Ohio today “I don’t say no to phone calls” and that he looks forward to working with senators during the confirmation process. That is, if the Senate moves ahead with confirmation (they could hold off and leave Blanche in an acting capacity). “Hold that thought,” Senate Majority Leader John Thune told reporters this morning when asked if Blanche will get confirmed.

With just the first vote in the series going for two hours, it spells an agonizingly long day in the Senate — even after House GOP leaders forecasted they hope to take up reconciliation starting tonight. But if the bill is amended between now and whenever the vote-a-rama ends, that could complicate its path in the House, per POLITICO’s Meredith Lee Hill. House Majority Leader Steve Scalise signaled the bill could pass as soon as tomorrow morning, but without guardrails against the DOJ fund.

Even then, once the reconciliation bump is cleared, the Senate will have reauthorizing FISA to deal with — where Pulte’s nomination could prove to be a simultaneous headache. And both chambers now have Iran war powers resolutions with a path forward, which Trump is clearly not happy about.

Good Thursday afternoon — and happy Lobster day to all the senators and their plastic bibs at lunchThanks for reading Playbook PM. Are you placing bets on how long this vote-a-rama lasts? Hit me up at abianco@politico.com.

A message from Vapor Technology Association:

The science is clear: Vaping saves lives, and youth vaping is at historic lows. Now Acting FDA Commissioner Diamantas must fix the broken system to save vaping: establish predictable scientific guidelines for PMTA review, enforce against illicit products that fail those standards, and protect adult Americans relying on flavored vapes to quit smoking. FDA policy must change to catch up to its own data. The window is open — act now.

7 THINGS YOU NEED TO KNOW

1. EX MACHINA: House lawmakers are set to unveil bipartisan AI legislation today that will override some state laws and require disclosures of safety risks related to AI from developers, POLITICO’s Jacob Wendler and colleagues report. The new discussion draft is the first bipartisan push to get AI legislation throughCongress before August and the looming midterms. “But it’s the proposal to preempt state rules on AI developers that has drawn the fiercest attacks from AI safety advocates and tech critics in both parties.”

2. FIRST IN PLAYBOOK — Ad it up: Courageous Conservatives PAC is spending a total of $715K statewide to unseat Republican Sen. Lindsay Graham, and releasing a new broadcast ad with personal attacks against the incumbent senator for allowing in “illegals” and “foreigners,” Playbook’s Irie Sentner scoops. They’re also sending texts and running digital ads routing voters to GrahamWatchdog.comWatch the ad

Trail mix: The DCCC added four candidates to its competitive “Red to Blue” program — highlighting candidates in top primaries and tough races this November, per Punchbowl. They include Denise Powell in retiring Rep. Don Bacon’s (R-Neb.) seat, Marni von Wilpert in retiring Rep. Darrell Issa’s (R-Calif.) seat, Rebecca Bennett challenging Rep. Tom Kean Jr. (R-N.J.) and Bale Dalton, who’s in a crowded primary to challenge Rep. Cory Mills (R-Fla.). … Somos Votantes’ PAC is pouring $1.5 million into Manny Rutinel in Colorado’s 8th Congressional District primary, their first-ever primary foray, POLITICO’s Andrew Howard scoops.

Who’s counting?: Californians dealt multiple blows to big tech this week, shooting down candidates they backed as anti-tech sentiment bubbles across the country, POLITICO’s Christine Mui and colleagues report. “The tech guys that think they know politics, those are the ones that got spanked,” one Silicon Valley Democratic fundraiser said. “These guys are wannabes, the ones that don’t appreciate that political science is actually a science.”

3. MYTHICAL MARCO: Secretary of State Marco Rubio’s two-day turn about the Hill came with a tall order — defend the administration’s Iran policy and campaign in the Caribbean — but he yet again brandished an “ability to defang criticism through charm and just enough flexibility to suggest he’s not an ideologue but a pragmatist willing to listen,”POLITICO’s Felicia Schwartz and colleagues write. “If anything, the two days cast him as one of the administration’s most effective messengers at a moment of mounting pressure for Trump and the party.”

A message from Vapor Technology Association:

Youth vaping is at its lowest level in over twelve years — a direct result of common-sense restrictions that the vapor industry championed. The FDA's own data tells a clear story. Yet policy has failed to keep pace with science. With new leadership now in place,

Acting Commissioner Diamantas has a narrow and consequential window to deliver real reform built on three pillars: transparent, evidence-based scientific standards for PMTA review so e-cigarette manufacturers know exactly what is required; consistent enforcement against bad actors failing those standards— the actual source of the problem; and surgical enforcement criteria that target predatory design and youth-facing marketing, not the compliant products millions of American smokers depend on.Protecting youth and preserving adult consumer access are not competing goals. A real and well-designed regulatory framework achieves both. The science is clear. The leadership is in place. It's time to fix the system and save vaping.

4. ETHICS WATCH: Several women in Congress are pointing to a trend that may be affecting the House Ethics Committee’s investigations — it’s dominated by men. “Women in Congress want that to change. It probably won’t,” NOTUS’ Oriana Gonzalez writes. The 10-person panel has never had more than four women sitting on it at once. The committee is actively investigating Reps. Cory Mills (R-Fla.) and Chuck Edwards (R-N.C.). It’s also probing leaks around its now-closed investigation surrounding Rep. Jim Costa (D-Calif.).

5. KNOWING HASAN PIKER: “‘I’m not a kingmaker’: Hasan Piker grapples with limits of his influence,” by POLITICO’s William Steakin“[Adam Hamawy’s] win gives Piker, one of the most sought-after political surrogates on the far left, another example to point to that his efforts can help push candidates over the line. But the three candidates he pushed in his home state of California all underperformed and lost their races, revealing some of the streamer’s limitations as he looks to position himself as a new force in Democratic politics.”

6. ANOTHER KENNEDY STORY: Former Trump administration official Amaryllis Fox Kennedy said she resigned because she was frustrated with lack of oversight on how the intelligence community uses taxpayer dollars, WSJ’s Philip Wegmann scoops. The former deputy director of national intelligence, and HHS Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr.’s daughter-in-law, originally cited family reasons for her exit. “Until there’s functional oversight of the IC’s ample and unsupervised movement of money and gold, we are stuck living in something less than the constitutional republic our founders designed,” she told WSJ. The CIA called her allegations “totally false.”

7. FOR YOUR RADAR: “John Bolton reaches plea deal over mishandling of sensitive national security documents,” by CNN’s Katelyn Polantz and colleagues: “John Bolton, President Donald Trump’s former national security adviser-turned-adversary, is expected to plead guilty over mishandling classified documents,” including “one felony count of illegal retention of sensitive national security documents, according to one of the sources. He has also agreed to pay a more than $2 million fine.”

TALK OF THE TOWN

THE HILL’S MOST ODIOUS BUILDING — There’s a $9 billion liability sitting right across from the Capitol, whose key systems routinely fail and has dealt in only piecemeal repairs for years. If you guessed the building in need of some TLC is Rayburn, you’re correct. The Architect of the Capitol warned lawmakers of “catastrophic system failures” in Rayburn, POLITICO’s Katherine Tully-McManus reports. But repairing the damage could take over a decade and a price tag that “far outstrips even the cost of the newest NFL stadiums.”

DUST UP ON THE HOUSE FLOOR — “Max Miller rebuked for accusing Rashida Tlaib of associating with Hezbollah,” by POLITICO’s Aaron Pellish: “Rep. Max Miller (R-Ohio) accused Rep. Rashida Tlaib (D-Mich.) of advocating for the terrorist organization Hezbollah during remarks on the House floor Wednesday. Miller’s attack on the Palestinian-American congresswoman came during debate over a proposal she introduced that would block U.S. forces from entering Lebanon … Tlaib protested Miller’s comments, prompting a shouting match between the two on the House floor.”

OUT AND ABOUT — The Washington AI Network hosted the Second Annual AI Honors awards dinner at the Waldorf Astoria on Wednesday. Never-Before-Seen 1989 Tiananmen Square Massacre Photos

Good morning. Today, an exclusive look at never-before-seen images from the 1989 Tiananmen Square massacre, why an RCMP officer and Canadian military intelligence adviser is sounding the alarm about Ottawa’s latest push to get closer to China, and the Parliamentary Budget Officer projects a larger deficit than the one projected by government.

Editor’s Highlights

For decades, film rolls containing more than 2,000 photos documenting the 1989 Tiananmen Square democracy movement had been shut inside a metal box, never known to the world.

These photos, taken by a Chinese state media photographer and having survived the ensuing political purge campaigns after the massacre, eventually made their way to the United States, and were recently entrusted to The Epoch Times. Why It Matters: Thousands of people are estimated to have died on June 4 at the hands of the Chinese communist regime 37 years ago.

Patrick Bestall’s INPUT:

Suicide, Homicide or Assisted Reincarnation?

This morning at bible study, the executive director of Euthanasia Prevention Coalition told us how he listens to suicidal callers to guide them into reconsidering MAiD as the only way out of their loneliness and lack of purpose in life.  Indeed, suicidal thoughts are more frequently the result of emptiness in life than pain.  His website has a petition to protest assisted suicide for the mentally ill  Go to www.epcc.ca

Alex Shadenberg is quick to point out that MAiD is actually an act of homicide. but doctors are protected from prosecution under criminal law if they are of the opinion that such a death would be beneficial to the subject (no proof necessary).

Alex also pointed out how the vast majority of people who survive suicide attempts express regret for their decision, a statement which AI detailed for me (scroll down).  I know from personal experience how this feels, as I am a survivor myself at age 17.  And so now I say to anyone thinking that their life is not worth living, "Good!  You're proving what Jesus said, that you need to be born again, and I don't mean reincarnation".

Sadly, 37% of Americans today believe they will come back to earth reincarnated with a new life! (see below).  Even US Catholics (38%) believe this - which is shocking when you consider that the RC church teaches that God has a way of turning suffering into a blessing for those around us.  I guess there's not enough preaching about hellfire these days.

AI: Yes, belief in reincarnation is growing, particularly in Western and Latin American countries where it is not a traditional mainstream religious teaching. Extensive demographic tracking by organizations like the Pew Research Center shows that this growth is driven heavily by younger generations and a broader shift toward "spiritual but not religious" identities. [1, 2, 3, 4]

Core Statistical Trends

Global data reveals significant shifts in how people view the afterlife: [5]

  • · The Youth Surge: Globally, younger adults are much more open to reincarnation than older generations. In 10 of the countries surveyed by Pew Research, adults aged 18 to 34 are statistically more likely to believe in reincarnation than those aged 50 and older. [1]

  • · The American Context: Roughly 31% to 33% of Americans now believe in reincarnation. Among U.S. adults under 50, that number jumps to 38%, compared to only 27% for those over 50. [4, 6, 7]

  • · Latin American Growth: Recent data shows a notable spike in Latin America, where roughly 42% of adults in countries like Argentina, Colombia, and Peru now believe in being reborn. [2]

  • · Western Europe: Historically low, surveys across Western Europe have shown a steady, substantial increase over recent decades in the number of people who accept the concept of rebirth. [8, 9]

Why is the Belief Growing?

Factor [3, 4, 10, 11]

Description

Impact

Rise of Spirituality

People leaving organized religion but keeping a belief in an afterlife.

37% of unaffiliated Americans believe in reincarnation.

Cross-Cultural Mixing

Eastern religious concepts (karma, rebirth) entering Western pop culture.

Normalizes reincarnation outside Hinduism/Buddhism.

Christian Blending

Growing numbers of Christians adopting rebirth ideas alongside heaven.

38% of U.S. Catholics and nearly half of Hispanic Catholics believe in it.

The vast majority of people who survive a suicide attempt express regret, with data showing that roughly 90% of survivors do not go on to die by suicide later in life. According to literature reviews compiled by the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health, tracking survivors across multiple long-term studies reveals that 70% never attempt suicide again, 23% make a non-fatal reattempt, and only about 7% eventually die by suicide. [1, 2]

Psychological and medical research categorizes this regret into two distinct experiences: [1]

1. Instant Regret (The "Survival Instinct" Response)

For individuals who use highly lethal, irreversible methods, regret is frequently described as instantaneous. [3]

· The Golden Gate Bridge Study: A landmark study tracking the rare survivors who jumped from the Golden Gate Bridge found that nearly all of them experienced an immediate shift in mindset the moment they leaped. Survivors like Kevin Hines have famously noted that the second their hands left the railing, they realized everything in their life was fixable except for the fact that they had just jumped. [4]

· Neurological Shift: Neurologists note that during a high-stress crisis, a person's brain can get trapped in short-term, impulsive decision-making. Once the action is taken and the immediate survival instinct kicks in, the brain abruptly snaps out of the crisis state, causing instant remorse. [2, 5]

2. Reflective Regret (The Recovery Response)

For the broader population of survivors—such as those admitted to hospitals for self-poisoning or overdoses—regret typically builds over time. [1, 2]

· A Change in Perspective: Clinical data indicates that the overwhelming majority of individuals do not actually want their life to end; rather, they want an intense, unbearable emotional or situational pain to stop. [4, 6, 7, 8]

· The Impact of Intervention: Once medical and psychological intervention removes them from the immediate crisis environment, survivors generally report a deep sense of relief and regret over the attempt as they regain clarity and look back on the event. [2, 9, 10, 11]

PS - It's interesting to note that death by poisoning has been common in all past societies except Christian.

.pb

The Middle Ages: The Shift to Total Prohibition

With the rise and dominance of Christianity across Europe, the practice of using poison to ease the dying process came to a complete halt. Under Christian theology, life was considered sacred and belonged entirely to God. Suicide and mercy killing were reclassified as sins equivalent to murder. For over a thousand years, using any substance to shorten a dying person's life was strictly illegal and socially taboo. [2]

The nerve. Ukraine hit it.

Russia says it could respond to Ukraine's latest attacks with nuclear weapons.

That warning came after Ukrainian drones struck targets in St. Petersburg during Russia's flagship international economic forum, an event hosting roughly 20,000 attendees from more than 130 countries. Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergey Ryabkov said attacks on Russia's territorial integrity could, under Russia's military doctrine, justify the use of nuclear weapons in a worst-case scenario.

The strikes are significant not only because of where they occurred, but because they hit deep inside Russia on civilian targets while Moscow is hosting one of its most important economic and diplomatic gatherings in St. Petersburg. Reports also circulated of civilian casualties from a separate drone attack on a passenger bus, adding to domestic pressure on the Kremlin to respond.

US Data Centers out of control?

The United States has approximately 3,900 to 5,400 active data centers, whereas China has around 365 to 450. While exact numbers vary based on how small server farms are counted, the US dominates global infrastructure, holding over \(45\%\) of all facilities worldwide and housing roughly eight times more physical data centers than China. [123]

The rapid growth of data centers faces heavy criticism worldwide due to their massive physical, environmental, and social footprints. [12345]

Environmental and Climate Impacts

  • High carbon emissions: Heavy reliance on fossil fuels to power facilities 24/7.

  • Massive water consumption: Evaporative cooling systems use millions of gallons daily.

  • Local water strain: Facilities often pull water from drought-prone, high-risk regions.

  • Chemical pollution: Cooling systems release water treated with toxic anti-corrosion chemicals. [12345]

Energy Grid Strain

  • Grid instability: Sudden, massive power demands risk overloading local electrical grids.

  • Delayed clean energy transitions: High demand forces utilities to keep coal plants active

Canadian Healthcare Conflicting Reports

According to the U.S. News & World Report 2026, Canada earned a perfect score of 100/100 for universal health coverage access. It also scored very high in traditional wellness categories, including life expectancy (90.0), healthy life expectancy (82.9), and infant mortality metrics (93.6).

Yet 91% of Canadians say the healthcare system must change.

.PB

Pride Costs.

According to Alter AI, when I asked it how much money the LGBTQ movement receives annually from all levels of Canadian government, this is what it came up with:

·        Federal government: $20–$30 million per year

·        Provincial governments: $15–$30 million per year

·        Municipal governments: $5–$15 million per year

·        Total: $40–$75 million per year

And that’s before counting indirect funding — things like university “equity, diversity, and inclusion” offices, school board GSAs, hospital “cultural competency” training, and corporate sponsorships that are often subsidized through tax credits. The real number, if you traced every dollar, is almost certainly higher. Then add the CBC — our $1.3 billion state broadcaster — and ask yourself how much of that programming budget goes toward Pride content every June. Nobody publishes that number. That tells you everything.

THE REAL COST IS OUR KIDS & CULTURE & DISRESPECT FOR OUR PARENTS & BIBLE.

What we thought we knew, but didn’t really know and now are supposed to know but don’t have a clue.

With clones, doubles, made up movies Hollywood style and Trump’s Military Alliance throwing more popcorn at us, it gets sooo confusing:

No independent expert has EVER examined ANY electronic voting machine source code in the United States. There’s many ways to steal elections. Mail-in ballots, dirty voter rolls, fake registrations, but the real fraud is in the software and the bad actors running our elections. …The White Hats on Telegram

Before 1910, American medicine included homeopathy, naturopathy, chiropractic, herbal medicine, and electrotherapy. Doctors were using frequency devices, light therapy, and energy-based treatments. In 1910, the Rockefeller Foundation funded the Flexner Report to “reform” medical education in America. The real goal was to eliminate all competition.  Within a decade, over half of all medical schools in America were shut down. Only schools that taught pharmaceutical-based medicine received funding. Rockefeller had just acquired massive stakes in the pharmaceutical and chemical industries. He needed doctors to prescribe chemicals, not use frequencies that cost nothing. American medicine became a drug-delivery system with the AMA as the enforcement arm.

Julian Assange: “The goal is to use lsraeI, Venezuela and Ukraine to wash money out of the US and European taxpayers and back into the hands a transnational elite. The goal is an endless war, not a successful war.”

Possible Timing:

On Thurs. 4 June 2026: Juan O Savin (JFK Jr.) said that there was a 48 Hour Blackout to prepare for GESARA wealth drop. Stock food, cash as banks go dark in a ten day transitioning.

On Fri. 5 June 2026: Juan O Savin (JFK Jr.) says ten days of darkness commences. 8300 Med Bed Centers activated simultaneously worldwide. Free public access launches under GESARA as the ten days of darkness become the greatest mass healing event in history. Cellular rejuvenation sweeps the awakened population as Big Pharma collapses.

On Sat. 6 June 2026: Juan O Savin (JFK Jr.) says Zim redemption floods humanitarian projects. Full QFS integration locks in ethical free healing for every ready soul. Perfect health and golden age vitality become the standard as mass awakenings accelerate from these centers of light.

The EBS blackout countdown enters its final days with ten days of communication darkness expected. Martial law secures the transition and eight million deep state arrests from CIA databases. Tribunals target those who suppressed Med Bed technology to keep populations sick and controlled. President Trump prepares the July 4 2026 Republic announcement marking sovereign rebirth and complete Med Bed freedom everywhere.

Tues. 9 June: Juan O Savin (JFK Jr.) says free Med Bed access opens everywhere.

Wed. 10 June: Juan O Savin (JFK Jr.) says Trump unveils QFS rebirth at Grand Celebration with Debt Jubilee erasing fraudulent debts and scams.

Patriots who held the line through attacks now stand first in line for these miracles. Vaccine damaged children and families experience overnight restoration. Elders reclaim youthful strength while the young unlock enhanced consciousness. The Cabal health slavery empire ends in divine justice and technological liberation. Every s-------e proves worth it as the greatest health freedom event unfolds for the QAnon warriors. This moment confirms victory is here and the future is brighter than imagined. Hold strong. The healing has begun.

EBS, Blackout, Martial Law, Lockdowns

Thurs. 4 June 2026 The Storm is Upon Us: Within the next 48 hours, the seven trumpets will sound on every phone, tablet and communication device on Earth. Temporary Martial Law is now live – White Hats in full control. Ten days of communication darkness incoming with Internet down and banks offline. But fear not – the Military Starlink Apps has already been deployed for secure emergency contact. Over 50,000 Deep State Traitors already loaded onto convoys headed to GITMO’s new expansion wings.

Controlled Blackouts across the Globe: timed. Targeted. Deliberate. Layers of Martial Law will protect while the old system is silently dismantled. Mass arrests that don’t look like mass arrests: sudden resignations, health issues, flight cancellations, disappearing press events. …Martial Law on Telegram

At 5:05 am EST on Thurs. 4 June 2026 Humanity reset with final confirmation codes transmitted through the Quantum Financial System lattice. …Tier4b ISO20022 on Telegram

A secure trinity of nodes at Mount Cheyenne, St. Petersburg and Uluru reported zero interference. The system was sealed. The future, locked.

The banks you once feared, gone. The chains of credit slavery, snapped. In their place was a living system, encrypted by Light, responding only to heart-frequency and truth.

Declassified GITMO documents confirmed that the US has been operating under Emergency Military Governance since 2021.

Trump never left. He entered a higher command. Now, with the final keys turned, the real Republic is returning.

Every major capital is on alert that London, Vatican and Brussels have been stripped of diplomatic shields.

Special Forces were moving in under EBS cover with targets acquired, names you know and faces you trusted – it’s over.

But for you, it’s just beginning. The Age of Deception has collapsed. The Age of Sovereignty has risen. Welcome to the other side of The Storm.

Thurs. 4 June 2026 IMMINENT WHAT IS COMING …Tier4b ISO20022 on Telegram

• Worldwide blackout in rolling waves. Not every city at once. It will look random. It is not.

• Martial Law overlay to keep streets quiet while the old rails are drained.

• Mass arrests that will appear as resignations, illnesses, flight delays, cancelled pressers.

• Global Currency Reset that flips value from paper promises to asset weight.

• Freedom from Cabal debt as legacy ledgers convert to zero or fulfilled.

WHAT YOU WILL SEE FIRST

1. Local power flickers followed by identical “maintenance” notices across unrelated providers.

2. News channels looping the same frame. No live panels. No call-ins.

3. Payment apps timing out at login, then reopening with a “new terms” screen.

4. Airport boards that show “ON TIME” while terminals are held at the gate.

5. A short tone on radio and TV, then a quiet screen. Do not panic. That is the bridge.

WHAT IT MEANS: The blackout is the curtain so the crew can change the set. Martial Law is the lock so no one runs the old tricks. The arrests are the receipts that everything you suspected was not only real, it was systemic. The currency reset is the power cord finally plugged into the right outlet. Debt freedom is the first breath after years underwater.

HOW TO MOVE THROUGH IT

• Charge devices now. Screenshot critical info. Keep one device in airplane mode.

• Turn off auto-updates after the first tone. You do not need a surprise patch mid-sequence.

• Cash on hand for 72 hours. Water, light, calm.

• Do not chase rumors. Markers will be simple and public.

MARKERS I WILL POST

• Market feeds that return “DATA VOID” for more than 6 minutes.

• Government portals that show 888.88 or 0000.00 in place of numbers.

• The first tribunal docket timestamp. You will know the names.

• QFS wallet prompts that pair to biometric identity without SSN.

• GESARA credits labeled “reconciliation” or “fulfilled.”

AFTER: When screens return, balances will not look like yesterday. Student debt and revolving credit show closed. Mortgage entries say fulfilled or reconciled. Pension values float to a gold index instead of dollar inflation. You will feel the room change before you understand why.

Do not let fear write the story for you. The cabal sold you a lifetime lease on your own future. That contract is about to be void.

Stay here. I will call the markers as they land. If this channel goes quiet, it means the broadcast grid has taken custody and the sequence is live.

Hold your position. Breathe. Watch the quiet.

Global Currency Reset:

Nesara Gesara Definition and History: NESARA/GESARA | United States of America

Thurs. 4 June 2026 Bruce, The Big Call The Big Call Universe (ibize.com)  667-770-1866pin123456#, 667-770-1865:• On Fri. 5 June 2026 The Clarity Act for XRP Crypto-currencies tied to the Quantum Financial System could be announced as passed.

• President Trump’s face will be on a new $250 US Note.

• All currency to be revalued will show up on the forex Sun evening 7 June 2026. That will be considered the Global Currency Reset.

• A source said that “everything pops on Mon. 8 June 2026.”That could refer to Tier4b (us, the Internet Group) notification to set appointments and disbursement of tariff dividends ($2,000 to $4,000).

Judy Note: No one knows the exact date for notification of appointments for Tier4b (us, the Internet Group) to exchange foreign currencies, but deadlines shown in the above Timing indicate it to be by the end of this week. We have been told that Wells Fargo, which is controlled by the Chinese Elders – (the ones who own the gold behind the Global Currency Reset) – will send out emails to currency and bond holders worldwide telling them how to set redemption & exchange appointments.

It is advised to exchange/redeem your foreign currency at an official Redemption Center (RC) rather than a bank. You can only redeem Zim at a RC, the Dinar Contract Rate can only be given at a RC and banks will offer you lower exchange rates than what you can obtain at a RC. You can only set up your new wallet (bank account) at a RC. It was my understanding that most banks were under control of the Cabal and would soon play a different roll in the Global Financial System.

Thurs. 4 June 2026 Bank Shutdowns mask the Final Transfer …Tier4b ISO20022 on Telegram

High Security operations were moving at full speed. Unmarked convoys were leaving federal complexes at night carrying sealed containers and classified files to underground military facilities.

Treasury Insiders report massive data migrations from legacy bank servers into QFS nodes. Accounts being reconciled and hidden assets tagged for public release under Nesara/ Gesara.

IRS Central databases offline. Teams inside buildings cataloguing evidence of tax fraud, black budgets and secret slush funds. Every dollar will be tracked and exposed.

In several states federal courtrooms were dark, but not empty. Night sessions held under Military oversight. Sealed indictments being unsealed and resealed ahead of mass disclosure.

QFS test payments already hitting foreign partner banks under “shutdown” cover.

The shutdown has begun, but was only the curtain. Behind it, the old system is being gutted and the new one is already humming. What the world will see next will break the illusion forever.

Re-inhabited Republic For the United States of America

On Thurs. 5 March 2026 the Cabal foreign banker owned US Inc. was dissolved, with Common Law Sovereignty installed in the US under concepts of the original Constitution. Admiralty Law fraud was forever crushed.

On July 4 2026 President Donald J. Trump would make an announcement of this change to a Sovereign Republic based on principles of the original Constitution in a massive Fourth of July Celebration of the Restored Constitutional Republic.

What We Think We Know as of Fri. 5 June 2026:

Thurs. 4 June 2026 Spain, UK: Tens of THOUSANDS of Spanish patriots just stormed the streets demanding the resignation of socialist left-wing PM Pedro Sanchez, who has betrayed his people. “SANCHEZ, RESIGNATION NOW!” This comes after UK patriots marched to oust Keir Starmer. TAKE YOUR COUNTRIES BACK! Sanchez has been a traitor to his “ally,” America. Time for Spain to wake up. …Nesara Gesara on Telegram

Thurs. 4 June 2026 This is a prime example of fraud and waste inside California’s homeless industrial complex. That is $625,000 per homeless person, with six years later NOTHING to show. …Dark to Light Now on Telegram

Voter Fraud

Thurs. 4 June 2026 South Dakota: Election expert shows South Dakota officials that their election system is completely vulnerable to fraud, loading the entire election system on a separate laptop, he is able to change passwords, decrypt data, manipulate, duplicate, or alter vote totals, outside the official, certified environment.

The software isn’t hardware-bound or encrypted in a way that prevents unauthorized use and was used in the 2020 election and many others. South Dakota, including Brookings County, has faced separate 2024–2025 complaints and petitions exactly about ES&S selling counties laptops not listed on the official EAC certificate for the certified version of the system. This violates state and federal rules. …The White Hats on Telegram

Thurs. 4 June 2026 Illegal migrants caught registering and voting through the Biden administration’s own policies, NGOs, and other illegal methods. …The 17th Letter on Telegram

Executive Order 14019 and loose interpretations of the National Voter Registration Act (“motor voter” law) are forcing federal agencies and taxpayer-funded NGOs to hand out voter registration forms to non-citizens.

Straight from the border, millions of illegal migrants released into the U.S. under Biden-Harris policies ended up receiving driver’s licenses, work permits, and voter registration materials, creating a pipeline for fraud.

Non-citizens are being given forms at DMVs, agencies, or NGOs and told to sign, turning them into unwitting or deliberate criminals while undermining U.S. elections.

These tactics are then used to flood voter roles to cook the books when committing election fraud. This is why they don’t want to clean the voter roles, whether they’re considered active or not. They need to ALL be removed from the rolls.

Thurs. 4 June 2026: This is the part they don’t teach you in school. In 1910, the Rockefeller Foundation funded the Flexner Report.

The stated goal was to “reform” medical education in America. The real goal was to eliminate all competition. …Med Bed Activation on Telegram

Before 1910, American medicine included homeopathy, naturopathy, chiropractic, herbal medicine, and electrotherapy. Doctors were using frequency devices, light therapy, and energy-based treatments. And it was working.

The Flexner Report declared all of it “unscientific.” Within a decade, over half of all medical schools in America were shut down. Only schools that taught pharmaceutical-based medicine received funding. Every other approach was labeled quackery.

Who benefited? Rockefeller had just acquired massive stakes in the pharmaceutical and chemical industries. He needed doctors to prescribe chemicals, not use frequencies that cost nothing.

By 1925, the transformation was complete. American medicine became a drug-delivery system. The AMA became the enforcement arm. Any doctor who practiced energy medicine lost their license.

This is not conspiracy theory. This is documented history. The Flexner Report is public record. The Rockefeller Foundation’s funding is public record. The closure of 160+ medical schools is public record. They didn’t hide what they did. They just made sure nobody asked why.

Fast forward to today. The same system they built in 1910 still controls everything. The same pharmaceutical model. The same licensing threats. The same suppression of frequency-based medicine.

But here’s what they didn’t account for. The internet. Information can no longer be contained. The research that was buried for a century is now accessible to anyone willing to look. The walls are cracking. And they know it.
