Just weeks after Joseph Tillman killed her husband of 50 years in a DUI accident, Regina Johnson forgave him in court and it was quite the emotional scene.
NEW: Georgia woman forgives the man who took her husband’s life, embraces him in court as was sentenced to 20 years in prison. Regina Johnson and her husband Chuck Johnson were married for 50 years before his life was tragically taken. Joseph Tillman was seen crying as he was sentenced for hom*cide by vehicle, DUI, and reckless driving.
Johnson told Tillman that she forgives him and that God loves him. Tillman whispered back: “I'm so sorry. I am so sorry.” In response to the emotional moment, the judge said: “I don't think I've ever seen the wife of a victim hug the defendant where they k*lled somebody.” Tillman was sentenced to 20 years with prison time suspended if he completes a two year inpatient rehab program, according to ABC 7.

Johnson said to Tillman,
I forgive you, and God loves you more than you know.
Tillman cried openly because just weeks before he had killed Regina's husband Chuck in a hit and run while driving high on nitrous oxide.
And when you think of what a Christian witness is, this is it.
‘Joey doesn't know yet how much God loves him,' Tillman said. ‘Joey needs healing of things in his past, as we all do. And that is our heart and prayer.'
Just consider the judge’s reaction:
‘I don’t think I’ve ever seen the wife of a victim hug the defendant where they killed somebody,’ said Cherokee County Superior Court Judge Tony Baker, according to Atlanta based WSB-TV.
You can see that Tillman is totally and completely broken by the woman's forgiveness — in a life-changing way.
Tillman's lawyer, Paul Ghanouni, said that ‘he's changed his way of life,' per WSB-TV, and ‘seems like he's on a trajectory to continue to move forward with his life in a positive way.'
I can only hope that means he's encountered God's forgiveness too.
Tillman pleaded guilty to three counts of homicide by vehicle, plus felony hit and run, making a false statement, DUI, and reckless driving, and he was sentenced to 20 years in prison, though his prison time can be commuted if he completes a 2-year rehabilitation program.

SHROUD:
The Shroud of Turin has once again taken centre stage, lighting up social media and sparking renewed debate over its authenticity.
This piece of linen, long revered as the burial cloth of Jesus Christ, bears a mysterious “photographic” image of a man who appears to have suffered the wounds of crucifixion. For centuries, it has been the subject of intense scrutiny, faith, and controversy.
Why is the Shroud dominating headlines now? There are two key reasons.
First, artificial intelligence has entered the fray, creating an AI-generated image of the man whose imprint graces the cloth.
Whether it is the true face of Jesus or another crucified victim from the time, the results offer a lifelike rendering of a man walking, smiling, and frowning, bringing an ancient enigma startlingly into the present.
Second, the Shroud, once dismissed by carbon dating in 1988 as a mediaeval forgery, has undergone its own kind of resurrection.

The results, once declared definitive, are now being challenged by cutting-edge scientific analysis, leaving many to question why the Shroud was ever so hastily written off.
The Shroud’s First Act
The Shroud’s recorded history begins in 1354, when it surfaced in the French village of Lirey, purporting to be the very linen that wrapped Christ’s body.
At a time when Europe’s relic trade was booming with splinters of the True Cross, Holy Grail fragments, and even dubious relics of Christ’s foreskin circulating, it was met with fervent devotion.
Pilgrims flocked to see it, yearning for tangible proof of the divine.
But the Shroud did not go unchallenged. By 1390, Bishop Pierre d’Arcis denounced it as a fraud, alleging that an artist had confessed to painting it.
However, there is no direct confession document and the name of the artists was not revealed by d’Arcis. The information about the confession was second-hand or more, as d'Arcis mentioned it was told to him by his predecessor, Bishop Henri de Poitiers, who had supposedly investigated the shroud around 1355.
Pope Clement VII, caught between ecclesiastical scepticism and popular piety, sanctioned the shroud’s display but with the caveat that it be revered as a devotional image rather than an authenticated relic.
The controversy might have ended there, yet the Shroud endured, its aura of mystery undiminished, shifting from curiosity to icon.
The Carbon Dating Debacle
Fast forward to 1988, when scientific modernity attempted to settle the matter with the cold precision of carbon-14 dating.
Three laboratories conducted tests, confidently placing the Shroud’s origins between AD 1260 and 1390, seemingly confirming its medieval fabrication. The case was closed, or so it seemed.
Enter American nuclear engineer Robert Rucker, a man with a keen eye for methodological malpractice. His forensic dissection of the 1988 study, outlined in “The Carbon Dating Problem for the Shroud of Turin,” exposed glaring inconsistencies and procedural blunders.
Worse still, the raw data had been concealed for nearly three decades, only to be reluctantly revealed under pressure.
Subsequent work by Australian journalist William West, “The Shroud Rises, as the Carbon Date is Buried,” added fuel to the fire, portraying the carbon-dating exercise as a rushed and deeply flawed undertaking.
What had once been presented as irrefutable proof now looked more like a scientific blunder.
According to West, the Shroud bears microscopic evidence tying it directly to Jerusalem, specifically in the spring, the very season of Jesus’ execution.
Traces of pollen, dirt, and limestone unique to the region suggest that the cloth once lay in the ancient city. Even the forensic evidence is telling: blood chemistry consistent with severe trauma, the tell-tale signs of scourging, crucifixion, and the agony recorded in the Gospels.
Further analysis reveals that the Shroud spent centuries in Eastern Europe before making its way westward, a journey corroborated by both physical and historical evidence.
A New Scientific Awakening
The march of technology has offered fresh insights.
Wide Angle X-Ray Scattering (WAXS), led by Italian crystallographer Liberato de Caro, produced results that challenge the medieval forgery hypothesis. His team’s analysis dated the Shroud to approximately 2,000 years ago aligning eerily well with the Gospel timeline.
Meanwhile, Professor Giulio Fanti of the University of Padua employed advanced mechanical and chemical dating techniques, arriving at a similar conclusion: the linen likely originated around 33 BC, with a margin of error of 250 years. Such findings, while not definitive proof, severely undermine the idea of the Shroud as a medieval invention.
But it is the image itself that remains the greatest mystery.
Unlike any known medieval painting, it is not formed by pigment, ink, or dye but exists only on the very surface of the fibres.
One of the most provocative theories suggests that the image was imprinted by a burst of ultraviolet radiation, an event so intense it exceeds the technological capabilities of any known period before the modern era.
Paolo Di Lazzaro, chief of research at Italy’s national energy research agency, and his team tested this hypothesis using high-energy excimer lasers.
They managed to reproduce some of the Shroud’s peculiar characteristics but only under conditions that suggest an extraordinarily powerful and brief burst of energy.
The implications are staggering: such an event is either beyond human technology of the past or something else entirely.
Faith Beyond Proof
But do Christians need the Shroud to believe?
Faith, after all, is not built on artefacts but on trust in the divine. Christianity has never relied on physical proof, it is founded on conviction, the kind that does not demand evidence but accepts truth by grace.
The Shroud may be an extraordinary relic, one that continues to baffle and inspire.
But ultimately, Christianity does not need a piece of cloth to validate the Resurrection. The message of Christ endures regardless because faith is not about seeing. It is about believing.

7-Year-Old Notices Elderly Woman Eating Lunch Alone and Decides to Eat With Her:
‘God Had Us in That Space at That Time’:
When a 7-year-old boy noticed an elderly lady eating lunch alone at a restaurant, he chose to sit with her and brighten her day.
On June 7, Crystal Tamez and Ezra—one of her four children—were eating lunch at Braum’s, a burger joint in Rockwall, Texas, when Ezra spotted an elderly woman sitting alone behind his mom.
Packing up his food, Ezra said, “Mom, we have to go sit with her.”
A nervous Mrs. Tamez hesitated at first but seeing how determined her son was, she didn’t want to deny his request and agreed.
After politely asking the 84-year-old woman if they could sit with her, Mrs. Tamez learned that the elder was battling depression in the wake of her husband’s passing a few months ago.
“She was having a hard time getting out of the house, and so she really appreciated [Ezra] noticing her and coming over,” Mrs. Tamez told the Epoch Times.

In a conversation that lasted for about 30 minutes, Ezra spoke to her about his interest in football.
“He told her that he loved football, and he was a quarterback,” Mrs. Tamez said, adding that the elderly woman went on to ask him questions about his siblings.
When Mrs. Tamez got up for a refill, she noticed just how sweet and precious the moment was and thus decided to capture it on video.
As the mother-son duo left the restaurant, the octogenarian, who the family refers to as Ms. Pat, thanked Ezra for brightening her day.
Later, Ezra told his mom: “It’s just not right, Mom.”
“What?” Mrs. Tamez asked.
“Nobody should be doing life alone,” Ezra said. “It’s just not okay for her to sit alone.”

Mrs. Tamez was touched by his response. Describing her son as “very kind, sweet, and generous,” Mrs. Tamez said he is the type of child who wants to help others at every opportunity.
However, Ezra isn’t her only child who has shown great compassion. Mrs. Tamez recalled that one of Ezra’s siblings would always play with special-needs kids at school rather than go to recess. Another child, Arrow, forged an unlikely friendship with his bus driver before she began attending church with him.
“It’s just kind of who they are,” Mrs. Tamez said of her children.

‘I 100 Percent Think That God Had Us in That Space, at That Time’
Ms. Pat, who currently resides in a senior home in Rockwall, Texas, lost her first husband when she was young. After staying single for some time, she met her last husband nine years ago. Sadly, for eight of the years they spent together, he was battling brain cancer. Despite that, the elderly couple made the most of their time together, doing a lot of traveling.
Since her husband’s passing, she hadn’t been able to bring herself to Braum’s, a restaurant she and her late husband often visited together, until the day she first met Ezra and his mother.
“I 100 percent think that God had us in that space, at that time,” said Mrs. Tamez, adding that she believes God used Ezra to comfort the widow and show her she wasn’t alone.
“He works in ways where he puts other people, like Ezra—the little angel in disguise—just [as] a reminder she’s not forgotten,” the proud mom said.
Since their first meeting, Mrs. Tamez has stayed in touch with Ms. Pat and even invited her to Ezra’s football game.
Mrs. Tamez and her husband, Eli, are self-employed and have been married for the last 20 years. Their parenting philosophy focusses on human connection and faith. They don’t allow their children—aged 5 to 14—to use iPads, instead encouraging them to talk to people in the real world.
By sharing this heartwarming story, Mrs. Tamez hopes to highlight the importance of encouraging children to forge strong human connections by getting off screens and into the real world.

Air Canada to Resume Flights Aug. 18 After Flight Attendants Defy Back-to-Work Order:
The airline was set to restart flights on Aug. 17, but the union said the strike would continue.
Air Canada flight attendants say they will remain on strike despite a government order to enter binding arbitration. Meanwhile, the airline says flights will resume on Aug. 18.
Air Canada had initially said flights would resume late on Aug. 17 as the federal government referred negotiations between the airline and the flight attendants’ union to the Canada Industrial Relations Board (CIRB) for binding arbitration hours after a strike that began just past midnight on Aug. 16.
The airline now says that flights will resume starting in the evening of Aug. 18 after the union “illegally directed its flight attendant members to defy” CIRB’s back-to-work order.
The Canadian Union of Public Employees (CUPE), which represents the flight attendants, has accused Jobs Minister Patty Hajdu of caving to Air Canada’s demands, saying that with expectations of government intervention to end the strike, the airline was not engaging in good-faith negotiations. The union has called the minister’s intervention unconstitutional.
The union said that it will challenge the CIRB’s back-to-work order, and that it invites Air Canada back to the negotiating table to reach a resolution.
The CIRB had directed flight attendants to resume their work by 2 p.m. ET on Aug. 17. The board also ordered the terms of the existing collective agreement remain in place until the two parties signed a new agreement.

Air Canada began winding down operations after the union issued a 72-hour strike notice on Aug. 13, and grounded its more than 700 daily flights by Aug. 16, impacting over 130,000 customers daily.
The strike action of the more than 10,000 flight attendants affected Air Canada and Air Canada Rouge, while flights operated by third-party airlines Jazz and PAL remained unaffected.
In announcing her decision to order binding arbitration, Hajdu said she was exercising her “authorities under Section 107 of the Canadian Labour Code” to direct the issue to the CIRB to “secure industrial peace and protect the interests of Canada, Canadians, and the economy.”
At issue is disagreement over wages and ground pay, with flight attendants saying it’s unfair that they don’t get compensated for work done between flights while the plane is grounded, while also demanding higher overall pay.
Air Canada said it has offered what it describes as a 38 percent increase in total compensation over four years, covering wages, pensions, health benefits, and vacation pay.
The union says that inflation has outpaced wages over the past decade, and that the company’s proposal amounts to only a 17.2 percent wage increase over four years.
Air Canada Flights
Air Canada said earlier on Aug. 17 that since it implemented a full shut-down and suspended operations at 1:30 p.m. on Aug. 16, its “aircraft and crew are out of position vis-à-vis the schedule.”
The airline also said earlier that while it was preparing to resume flights by the evening of Aug. 17, it may take several days for operations to return to normal.
The airline now says that flights will resume in the evening of Aug. 18 after the union decided to continue the strike on Aug. 17.
“Customers whose flights are cancelled will be notified and are strongly advised not to go the airport unless they have confirmed flights on other airlines,” Air Canada said.
“Air Canada will offer those with cancelled flights options, including obtaining a full refund or receiving a credit for future travel. The carrier will also offer to rebook customers on other carriers, although capacity is currently limited due to the peak summer travel season.”
‘This Is Not Over’
The union said the federal government’s decision to intervene “will not ensure labour peace,” adding that the action has done “incalculable damage to the Charter and workers’ rights by siding with Air Canada to crush the rights of flight attendants at Air Canada.”
“This is not over,” CUPE President Mark Hancock said in an Aug. 16 statement. “We will continue to fight on the picket lines, on the streets, at the bargaining table, in the courts, and in Parliament, until the injustice of unpaid work is done for good.”
The Conservatives also criticized the Liberal government for the intervention.
“No worker – federally-regulated or otherwise – should be forced, especially by the government, to work without being paid. Yet, that is exactly what flight attendants are being ordered to do,” Conservative MP and shadow minister for labour Kyle Seeback said in a statement.
“Instead of continuing to attack flight attendants by forcing them back to work, [Prime Minister Mark] Carney should work with Parliament to pass the Conservatives’ Flight Attendants Fairness Act, ensuring workers are paid for the work they do before, during and after a flight.”
NDP Interim Leader Don Davies accused Minister Hajdu of misusing the Labour Code in her order.
“The Liberal govt is again using s. 107 of the Canada Labour Code to order workers back to work. This is a blatant misuse of that section and is being challenged in court,” Davies said on social media.
“They should recall Parliament and democratically debate back to work legislation if they feel it’s justified.”
Minister Hajdu said she needed to intervene as both parties were “so far apart on a number of issues” that they were going to need “some additional help” to reach an agreement.
“It is clear that the parties are not any closer to resolving some of the key issues that remain, and they will need help with an arbitrator,” Hajdu said, saying she needs to “protect the interests of Canada, Canadians, and the economy.”

I asked google (I hate google. It only pushes its own ideas, very bias) I asked if there were income taxes in FL. Google said YES.
Then I asked if there were property taxes in FL. It said YES but then said there is no personal income tax! So you see? Above I asked specifically if there was income tax and it said yes, then I asked about property tax and it says yes there are property taxes but no income tax!

I literally had to correct grok telling it that one time you told me this and the next time you told me that. It actually apologized. I'm just saying that these are just scripts written by programmers and they only get their answers from the internet so I wouldn't rely too heavily on them.
But then in fact I wouldn't rely to heavily on people either. As we have found out there is no black and white in life. I used to think the law is the law but it's not! They use all these words like "Court".
What is a court? It's an area where a game is played. A good lawyer, a good storyteller gets the guilty off scott free. (see the movie Chicago).
Taxes in Canada are insane!
The average Canadian pays 70% more taxes than the average American! If the Canadians with their blinders on only watching mainstream news yell "elbow'sup Canada!" the mainstream media makes it look like we have to fight the US. Our greatest Ally for over 100 years until Mark Carney took over Canada.
The average Canadian says oh well look at us we have free healthcare! Yeah until you need a liver transplant and they deny you because you never took the covid vaccine and they let you die in the hospital! RIP my wife.
They don't cover things like Dental, or anything to do with your eyes, or dermatologists, or podiatrists, and anything they do cover, as mentioned above, is up to their discretion! What do you expect for something that is "free"? Which it is not free because Canadians pay 70% more taxes than the average American! Canadians paid dearly for what they call "free healthcare"!
I've posted this before but here's a lawyer confirming that Health Canada has got nothing to do with the betterment of your health! So in fact the so-called know that you're paying dearly for is that their whim!
Before we move on from “the tax department” I think it's important to note that the way these evil creatures work, is it they just start to say things over and over again to get people used to the idea before they actually Implement these things.
They've been talking about these new taxes since Carney took over Canada;
1. Currently there are no capital gains taxes on your principal residence if you live in Canada. However self appointed "Queen of Canada" Mark Carni-val, plans to tax capital gains on principal residence. No this is not in place yet but that's something to look forward to. And for those who have lived in the same house for years and years they will refer back to a date in 1972 I believe it was which they call v-day (valuation day) They (the government) will make an assumption of what your house would have been worth on that day and they (the government) will make an assumption of what it is worth today (not what you say it's worth, what they say it's worth) and you will be charged attacks on that capital gain.
This is similar to a Harley-Davidson I bought in the United States and had it registered in Canada. I made the trip to the US during the worst possible snow storm pulling a trailer because I knew the bike was a good deal. I had all my paperwork in place I had the riv forms paid for and signed (registrar of imported vehicles) they make you stop at a particular border crossing at a particular time and if you're not there they can automatically charge you I think it was $10,000 time just for not showing up! My son and I had to drive 17 hours Non-Stop to make it on time to the particular Crossing Point. We felt pretty confident with all our paperwork in place however the Canadian government still would not believe what I paid for the bike. Instead they went by their black book evaluation and charged me a fine of $1,8 and they said if you don't pay it we're going to seize your bike and you'll have to get a lawyer and you'll have to subpoena the seller to come to court and you'll have to pay for his time off work and his food and lodging and the court will be here not where you live and in the meantime we keep your bike!
Naturally, I gave them the credit card and paid the fine. After I saw my lawyer he said just walk away from it he says it will take up too much of your time and there is a possibility that you could lose in court and they'll take your bike. Furthermore he said he would want a $5,000 retainer to start the process and you said the process could take years! So I walked away from 1,850.00 and that was like 15 years ago!
So yeah they will put the valuation on your property and charge you the taxes accordingly!
2. If you pass on any assets, cash stocks bonds, property, anything of value to your kids, currently inheritance is not taxed but Carney wants to go after that too he wants to put a tax on whatever is passed down!
3. Home equity tax: If you don't owe anything on your house, then the value is known as equity. Carney thinks you should put pay a tax on that as well! So families who have worked all their lives and paid off their mortgage are going to be penalized for having a value in their house! That's whether you sell it or not! The tax will be owed every year based on the value and based on the equity! Typically the only people who have mortgage-free are older, they are retired they worked all their lives to pay off the mortgage, they still have to pay taxes maintenance insurance on the property as well as their own living costs and now he expects to put all these other taxes on top? Where does he think it's going to come from? The sky? Maybe the airplanes that spray the Chemtrails will spray money on the people? No the only option these elderly people will have is to sell their home and give anything left to the government!
Let us not forget that Carney himself is a director of the world economic Forum whose motto is you will own nothing and be happy! They expect to push everybody away from private property ownership Private Car ownership they don't want you to own anything they want you to be dependent on the system they don't want you to make your own money because that makes you independent! Independent people are harder to control because they can do what they want. Dependent people hookers who are dependent on their pimps for their next hit of drugs! There's only one thing I hate more than parasitic governments, it's pimps who get young women addicted to drugs so they will do anything that the pimp wants for their next hit! People like this need to be burned at the stake in public to set an example for others!
Oh wait right now it's too hot and we can't have outside fires!
4. So, let's say you're totally pissed at all this and you want to take your money out of Canada into another country to escape communism. well Carney's already got that figured out too! This one is already in place! It's called an "Exit Tax" or “Departure Tax” (I call it an escape tax). You see you can move out of the Communist Canada into another country but as long as you retain your Canadian citizenship you will be tied to Canada and you will always have to file income taxes. I'm not an accountant but I believe income from all sources must be divulged. So if you make money in another country you may have to still pay taxes in Canada! Talk to your accountant to be sure but the way I understand it is as long as you retain your Canadian citizenship you are tied to Canada! It's when you give up your Canadian citizenship, that's when they hit you with the exit tax! There was a very wealthy man who explained this on a video. He escaped Canada, gave up his citizenship to cut the ties to the communist country but had to pay $500,000 in exit taxes! Might not be that much for everybody but it's all relative, because for those who don't make as much as this wealthy fellow did, it will be equally as hard to take!
Keep in mind that:
· Carney himself is a billionaire satanist who is a director of the world economic forum which claims to be the world's unelected overseer.
· Carney's family lives in the US.
· He moved his corporate offices from Toronto Canada to New York as soon as he became queen of Canada.
· However his businesses are registered in the Bahamas or the Cayman Islands where there are no corporate taxes. So he pays no taxes on what he makes.
· He invested billions through his company into a Texas oil pipeline however he will not allow Alberta to build an oil pipeline I guess that's too much competition for him.
· He also has ties with world renowned pedophiles and child traffickers
· He has a son who claims he is a girl.
· His wife had a book about herself calling herself the First Lady before Carney was even appointed! It was already available on Amazon before Carney was appointed Queen of the land!
Us has been Canada's strongest Ally since its Inception in 1776. Us is Canada's greatest trading partner and also protected Canada militarily, luckily just because of Canada's geographical location. However since Carney sat on the throne, he completely denounced Trump and ran to his Satanic friends in the UN for help militarily. Is he really that stupid to call on the UN countries, including Canada, to gang up against the US!? The US & Russia are the only two superpowers in the world standing between the freedom that we once knew and New World Order, which is Satan trying to take over the world.
I wonder if Carney becoming queen of Canada is part of the process of uniting the UN against USA, in the same manner that they are using all the United Nations to fund Ukraine to deplete Russia, in terms of time and money and people. Of course Ukraine wouldn't be able to stand on its own two feet but you can see all the United Nations throwing taxpayer dollars at the gay stripper that they posted as Queen of Ukraine.
And why do they all have to be queer!? Because as we have said, satan is 180° opposite of anything biblical. Six Secret Service agents were suspended without pay or benefits following an attempted assassination of President Donald Trump at a rally in Pennsylvania in July 2024.
Matt Quinn, the agency’s deputy director, told CBS News on Wednesday that they “weren’t going to fire [their] way out of this,” but did say they are “laser focused on fixing the root cause of the problem.”
Quinn told the outlet that the agents received penalties ranging from 10 to 42 days of unpaid leave and were assigned to restricted roles with reduced responsibilities upon their return. He added that the disciplinary measures followed a federally mandated process.

Back in March, FBI Deputy Director Dan Bongino told Fox News there was no evidence of some grand conspiracy against Trump. “In some of these cases, the ‘there’ you’re looking for is not there. And I know people — I get it, I understand. It’s not there. If it was there, we would have told you,” Bongino said.
That same month, Daily Caller’s Reese pressed White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt about whether Trump was satisfied with Bongino’s answer.
