God’s people live in a hostile world—one that causes us to question whether there is any righteousness to be found. Although scripture designates all believers as “pilgrims,” the sights and sounds of our present surroundings often tempt us to feel as though we are sojourning alone. Yet, these are but feelings. A whispered betrayal of the truth that Jesus Christ is with us today, tomorrow, and every day thereafter, until we finally enter into His glorious kingdom, wherein God’s righteousness reigns.
There is a future day when Jesus will no longer say, “I will be with you to the end of the age,” for that age has no end. We shall be with Jesus throughout all eternity! Dear Christian brother and sister, I pray that you ache, as I do, for the heavenly abode of which we’ve read and dreamt of, whose builder and maker is God. But we are not there yet.
While we do not belong to this world any longer, we belong in this world and remain here by the will of the Lord. Each of us must be faithful to fulfill all that the Lord has appointed, and not lose heart in standing for what is good, righteous, and true. Let us spend ourselves and be spent, for those things that are of God and His kingdom. For soon, dear fellow pilgrim, we will be home where we truly belong, and hear, “Welcome, thou good and faithful servant.” Until then, Jesus will carry us through to the end.

This Week In Canada:
· A new national agreement signed by all provinces, territories, and the federal government will eliminate many interprovincial trade barriers starting in December, opening cross-Canada markets for thousands of goods ranging from clothing to industrial products.
Business groups praised the move but urged governments to go further by eventually including food, alcohol, and financial services, which remain exempt, apparently due to complex regulatory differences. Industry leaders say unified standards - particularly for food safety - would make future expansion possible, and some hope recent US tariff threats will help push provinces to work together more quickly.
Not everyone is convinced, however, as some argue that most barriers are overstated and that deregulation could risk public protections. They contend that transportation costs, not government rules, are the real obstacles to trade within Canada.
· Prime Minister Mark Carney announced that Canada is finalizing a $1-billion project to expand critical minerals processing capacity, alongside securing $50 billion USD in investment from the United Arab Emirates. The funding is expected to support critical mineral development, energy projects, ports, and artificial intelligence, reflecting confidence in Canada’s economy amid trade and productivity challenges. Carney highlighted Canada’s leadership in AI, quantum technologies, and life sciences, and invited UAE investors to visit Canada to explore projects. He expressed confidence that trade between Canada and the UAE could more than double within a decade, emphasizing alignment on green tech and energy. Carney noted that representatives of UAE sovereign wealth funds will visit Canada next year to identify further investment opportunities. His trip precedes the G20 summit, where Canada plans to focus on critical mineral supply chains, AI for sustainable development, disaster prevention, global development funding, and gender equality through economic growth.
· Norwegian company Vianode is investing $3.2 billion to build North America’s largest synthetic graphite production facility in St. Thomas, Ontario, creating up to 1,000 jobs. The plant will produce synthetic graphite, a critical component for lithium-ion batteries, addressing supply currently dominated by China. Ontario Premier Doug Ford highlighted the project’s economic benefits, including supporting two million electric vehicles annually and creating spinoff jobs in the region. The facility will be built on 56 hectares in the Yarmouth Yards industrial park, near Volkswagen’s PowerCo battery plant, and the province is providing a $670-million loan to support construction. Production is expected to start in 2027, eventually reaching 150,000 tonnes per year. Vianode emphasized sustainability and local sourcing for raw materials, primarily from North America and Canada. Both Ford and Vianode CEO Burkhard Straube noted that the project strengthens Canada’s EV supply chain despite challenges in nearby automotive manufacturing.
· Canada has passed a new law restoring citizenship for so-called “Lost Canadians,” children born abroad to Canadian parents who were also born outside Canada. The legislation responds to a 2023 Ontario Superior Court ruling that previous citizenship-by-descent rules were unconstitutional. Under the law, citizenship can now be passed down beyond the first generation if the parents spent at least three cumulative years in Canada before the child’s birth or adoption. Some Senators and MPs, including Saskatchewan’s David Arnot, raised concerns that the law treats intercountry adoptees differently from domestic adoptees, applying a “substantial connection” test to the former. Immigration lawyers warn this could be a Charter violation under Section 15 and conflict with international treaty obligations. Attempts to amend the law to address adoption rules or adjust the three-year requirement were unsuccessful in both the House of Commons and Senate. Lawmakers and legal experts say the issue may need future legislative clarification or a court challenge.
· Canada’s public pharmacare program appears stalled, with federal Health Minister Marjorie Michel confirming Ottawa is not actively negotiating with the remaining provinces and territories to expand coverage. Only BC, Manitoba, PEI., and Yukon have signed agreements, covering roughly 17% of Canadians. This month’s federal budget included no additional funding for pharmacare expansion, leaving advocates questioning the program’s future. Some provinces, including Saskatchewan, New Brunswick, and Nova Scotia, say they are ready to sign deals, while Quebec and Alberta have concerns about sustainability and coverage. Pharmacare legislation was originally intended to cover contraceptive and diabetes medications nationwide, but delays and funding gaps are limiting its rollout.
· Canada Post reported a record third-quarter pre-tax loss of $541 million, marking its highest quarterly deficit in history and a 72% increase from the same period last year. The losses come amid ongoing labour disruptions and rising competition in parcel delivery, with parcel revenue falling 40% to $450 million due to a decline of 27 million pieces. The company’s financial troubles are part of a broader trend, with cumulative losses exceeding $5.5 billion since 2018 and a $1-billion federal loan in January keeping operations afloat. Letter volumes continue to decline, while labour negotiations with the Canadian Union of Postal Workers stretch into their third year. Canada Post anticipates up to 30,000 employees may leave through retirement or voluntary departure over the next decade as it seeks cost reductions. The federal government has proposed measures to modernize the service, including adjusting delivery standards, closing some rural post offices, and expanding community mailbox service. A submitted plan to implement these changes is under federal review. The ongoing labour uncertainty and declining demand raise questions about the organization’s long-term sustainability.
This Week’s Action Item:
The Ontario government plans to introduce the Buy Ontario Act, which would require public-sector organizations to prioritize goods and services from Ontario first, and then from elsewhere in Canada.
Minister Stephen Crawford said the legislation aims to protect jobs, support local businesses, and keep public procurement dollars within the province.
The act would include compliance measures, such as fines, holdbacks, or barring vendors from future contracts. Exceptions would be allowed if Ontario or Canadian goods and services cannot be sourced at a reasonable cost or within a reasonable time frame.

The horrors of Muslim Sudan
Doctors Without Borders reports "hundreds of thousands fleeing rape and murder in Sudan's western city of El-Fasher. Fate unknown. Mass graves sighted.

Our lead levels are twice as high as the water in other provinces
Data from 2023-24 shows 26 municipalities in Ontario reported at least one lead test that exceeded the provincial limit of 10 ppb. Using the federal government’s more stringent five-ppb guideline, the number of municipalities that were reported to have exceeded the level jumps to 38.
Last year, the IJB published a groundbreaking report that revealed nearly half of Ontario’s schools had exceeded lead levels between 2020 and 2024. The IJB has made that data publicly searchable on its Lead Tracker, allowing parents and students to search all test results for five years by name of school or daycare.

If the left has packed units with people who have no loyalty to the Constitution, paired with messaging to “refuse orders,” paired with NGOs acting as a shadow government, paired with mass illegal entry at the border… The pattern is unmistakable. New children’s book teaches 5-year-olds that abortion is a ‘superpower.’
The abortion industry has long tried to indoctrinate children into its anti-life agenda. This book, presenting abortion as human empowerment, is just the latest example.
Amelia Bonow, the abortion activist most well-known for creating the "Shout Your Abortion" social media movement, has published a children's book about abortion, years after vowing to do so.

Social media posts for the book describe abortion as a "superpower" that gives human beings the unique power to shape their own destinies, avoiding the fact that abortion kills human beings. A post on Instagram about the book claims, "Parents, caregivers, and educators who work with children have long been searching for a tool to talk with kids about abortion, especially given the volume of political noise currently surrounding the issue."
The post also stated:
This beautiful hardcover book was created to talk with kids about abortion. "Abortion Is Everything" speaks directly to five to eight-year-olds about what abortion is, how it might feel, and why people have abortions.
With accessible, inclusive language, 'Abortion Is Everything' frames abortion as the actualization of a uniquely human superpower: our capacity to imagine the future and make choices that lead us towards the life we envision. Abortion is a tool that allows human beings to shape our destinies, and which has shaped the entire world around us.
Along with Bonow, the book was written by Rachel Kessler and illustrated by Emily Nokes.
"'Abortion Is Everything' introduces the concept of abortion in a way that empowers parents and kids to begin rewriting our cultural scripts about abortion at the most foundational level," the post concluded.
Commenters to the post appear ecstatic at the thought of propagandizing very young children about the killing of preborn human beings, with one stating, "Love it. I‘ve been speaking to my kids about abortion since they were small, and it is so empowering to hear a child say: 'You don‘t have to be pregnant if you don’t want to be.'“
Another claimed, "[I] think i will be buying this today for my potential future offspring!!"
And yet, it's likely that many individuals of the same persuasion believe "Meet Baby Olivia," which educates about human prenatal development (and says nothing about abortion at all), is a "blatant attempt to brainwash young children" — with science, apparently...
A Never Before Seen Look At Human Life in The Womb | Baby Olivia
If there's one thing abortion advocates know how to do, it's how to promote propaganda to children. They've been doing it for decades — with taxpayer dollars.
The Backstory: Bonow and other abortion activists like her have long tried to promote abortion to children. She appeared in a "Kids Meet" video series in 2019, which was labeled, "Kids meet someone who's had an abortion." At that time,
Bonow announced her then-upcoming children's book (which apparently has not been published until now). The video has since been removed from the "Kids Meet" page, but was republished elsewhere on YouTube: Dear Reader, Have you ever wanted to share the miracle of human development with little ones?

In the video, Bonow said she got pregnant after having unprotected sex with a boyfriend, but denied being irresponsible, and said her boyfriend supported the abortion.
Most of the children, who seemed to be pre-teens and teenagers, didn't push back against Bonow's claims — except for one boy, who quickly received heaps of criticism from Bonow.
Bonow also used dehumanizing, inaccurate language, claiming that the abortionist “sucked the pregnancy out,” rather than acknowledging the preborn baby or even using the term "fetus," which the children quickly began doing also.
One of the older children compared the baby to a “sea cucumber,” laughing at the fact that the preborn baby is alive. “Yeah, I kind of like to compare it to, like, a sea cucumber,” a boy said. “It’s not thinking, it’s just living. It’s like your arm is not capable of complex thought. Neither is a baby inside your womb.”
Bonow laughed and replied, “I like your take.”
When one child said abortion can sometimes be wrong, Bonow quickly lashed out. “I don’t know, I just don’t agree. Do we want people to just have all those babies?” she asked, and then denigrated adoption, implying that having a child living with another family would be worse than killing that child in abortion.
Bonow also attacked pro-lifers. “I don’t call them pro-life, I call them anti-choice,” she said, adding, "The people that say [they’re pro-life] don’t want to take care of people that have babies they can’t afford and then are totally poor. They want to deprive people of access to health care, and I’m just like, you guys aren’t pro-life. I’m pro-life.”
Anti which choice, exactly? Pro whose life? It certainly seems that being intentionally killed would cause a person to be deprived of... well, everything, including "access to health care."
Another abortion activist, Mary Walling Blackburn, wrote a pro-abortion children's book in which she referred to an aborted baby as a "happy ghost."
The Bottom Line:
The abortion industry has long tried to indoctrinate children into its pro-abortion agenda. This book, presenting abortion as human empowerment, is just the latest example.

· It is attempting to skirt a congressional ban on $2.5 billion in “risk corridor” payments to insurers that President Obama himself signed into law. It is even making illegal payments to insurance companies on behalf of members of Congress and their staff — giving Congress its own special exemption from Obamacare.
· Consistent with past practice, the Obama administration is thumbing its nose at the nonpartisan GAO by announcing it will continue to divert these taxpayer funds to insurance companies.
