1. Equity

I’m not sure how Google would define “equity,” but my definition of equity is “stored value.”


As a homeowner, you understand home equity as the stored value that it offers you.

Your equity in your home is a product of all the time, energy, and money that you have put into it, plus the value that has been added by the passage of time.

Relational equity is accumulated in the same way.

“What have we invested in each other? What have we endured? How many years have we travelled through life together?”


Relational equity is why we tolerate annoyances and troubles from the people we love. They have added value to our lives, so they have relational equity in us.

Likewise, customer-bonding ads create relational equity between today’s businesses and tomorrow’s customers. They do this by highlighting shared perspectives, beliefs, and values.


Customer-bonding ads communicate authenticity and vulnerability. And they are always there, 52 weeks a year. Authenticity, vulnerability, and the passage of time are not easy to fake or accelerate.

Keep those things in mind as you read on.


2. AI

Eighty-seven Wizards of Ads who stay in regular touch with nearly 1,000 businesses are a reliable finger on the pulse of what is happening.

This is what is happening:


Google Search results have been altered in a dramatic and unexpected way. Some companies have benefited greatly from Google’s new methodology, while other companies have been devastated by it.


You’ll understand what separates the winners from the losers in just a moment.

With 6,000 employees, Edelman is the world’s largest PR agency. They help companies worldwide manage their reputations and trust through stories published in mass media.

Edelman has been doing what they do since 1952.


On October 27, 2025, Christmas decorations were vibrating in anticipation of replacing Halloween decor when Brent Nelson, Chief Strategy Officer at Edelman, was quoted in Ad Age magazine.


Explaining why Google dramatically expanded their results-ranking criteria, Nelson said,

“What drives visibility isn’t your ad budget or keyword bids; it’s earned media. Analysis shows that 90% of what appears in AI summaries is ‘earned-driven’—pulled from reviews, press, blogs, forums and cultural chatter. Paid now plays a different role, amplifying what’s already there.”


“The new shelf space isn’t a store; it’s the AI summary. Brands need to understand their earned footprint across AI-generated answers.”


“Who gets cited? Whose trusted? Who’s missing? That’s the new baseline of visibility.”

In other words, Google is now rewarding Relational Equity.


3. A Prediction

Hundreds of new companies are about to leap into the Public Relations business. Their goal will be to get their clients mentioned in online press, blogs, forums and cultural chatter.


PR is an easy business to get into. It won’t be long before you are approached by someone who has a PR solution to help you improve your AEO (Ask Engine Optimization).

If you remember any of today’s Monday Morning Memo, let it be this:

“If you don’t have anything interesting to say, don’t let anyone convince you to pay money to say it.”


Company slogans, mush-mouth clichés and traditional ad-speak are not going to move the needle.

Every month or two, you are going to need something new, exciting, different, and entirely real to say.


4. A Suggestion

Radio stations would be smart to start a daily or weekly blog that is fun, quick, entertaining, easy to read, and full of valuable things that every consumer would want to know about.


If I owned a station in Austin, I would call my blog “Cool Things Austin Needs to Know”

If my blog were well written and full of actionable information and enough people got into the habit of scanning it each day, my radio station could become an important contributor to the online press, blogs, forums and cultural chatter that are now so very important.


Could a Radio station become a major online player in their community? Absolutely!

Remember, radio stations have the power to popularize their online blogs FOR FREE. Announcers could quote interesting tidbits from it each day and build a massive readership. Offline radio excitement would become online blog excitement.

Do I expect that radio stations will do this? Nope.


But if a few do dare to do it, do I expect them to be successful? Nope.


These are the four ways that their bosses will force them to screw it up.

1. They will try to make it a source of direct revenue.

2. They won’t write about anything or anyone who doesn’t advertise on their station.

3. They will allow advertisers to influence what is said about them in the blog.

4. It will be badly written, boring, and of no value to anyone.

But it would absolutely work if they did it right.


5. Closing comments

We are overwhelmed by a three-ring circus of media: online, offline, local, national, audio, video, print, outdoor, broadcast, streaming, digital, analog, physical, old-school, new-school, professional, amateur, full-colour and black-and-white.

It is never the media that makes the message work.It is always the message that makes the media work.If you don’t have anything interesting to say,don’t let anyone convince you to pay money to say it.

This should be no surprise as the Bible tells us, "For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows." 1-Timothy 6:10

So is not understanding that the world sees MONEY as the most important goal in life.

Have we not even seen the church go after MONEY as their goal, when you see the likes of many ministries ruined by the pursuit of riches?

 

Even the Bible warns us in 1-John 2:15-17 to be careful what we are pursuing.

"Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world.  And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever."

 

Interestingly, we are in the year 5951 according to the Essene Calendar.

The fifth letter of the Hebrew alphabet is the picture of GRACE, the Ninth letter being TIME of TESTING, then GRACE again and the First letter being the picture of GOD the ALMIGHTY.

So when we look at this time according to God's Gematria of the Hebrew Letters, we are in a TIME of TESTING surrounded by GRACE which is from GOD.

 

How will this go down?

In James 2:5, "Hearken, my beloved brethren, Hath not God chosen the poor of this world rich in faith, and heirs of the kingdom which he hath promised to them that love him."

What is the Kingdom?  Is this not the 1,000? The year reign of Jesus Christ on this earth is coming very soon as we approach the end of the 6,000. years since the fall of man.

 

Finally, God is using Trump to displace the Elites' desire to take over the world.

He is going to be further tested at Davos coming soon, and we need to be praying for his plan.

And Revelation states that "And the ten horns which thou sawest are ten kings, which have received no kingdom as yet; but receive power as kings one hour with the beast." Revelation 17:12


I see this passage stating that these ten rulers had not ruled yet.  So are these mega corporation leaders who have not ruled as actual rulers, but will rule for a short time with the Anti-Christ?

Just a thought.

 

God knows all, and He will have His way in the end.  But he will give men a short time to rule with the evil one they follow for a short time, to show the total failure they will become.

So that is the outcome!

Man is his flesh, will fail miserably, and we need not say much more than MARANATHA!!!

Representative Ilhan Omar, D-Minn., found herself locked out of an Immigration and Customs Enforcement facility in Minneapolis on Saturday, January 10, 2026, during what was intended to be a routine oversight visit.


Fox News reported that Omar, joined by fellow Minnesota lawmaker Rep. Angie Craig, arrived at the ICE Whipple Building to inspect conditions as part of their congressional duties, only to be turned away after initial entry due to a newly enforced Trump administration policy requiring a minimum of seven days' notice for such visits.


Before being asked to leave, Omar and her group briefly engaged with officials on matters like detainee hygiene, but their access was abruptly revoked.

The policy, introduced by the Trump administration on the same day as the visit, has stirred debate over congressional access to federal facilities.

Federal officials maintain that the rule aligns with legal standards, citing funding from the One Big Beautiful Bill Act rather than direct congressional appropriations as justification.


Debate Over Congressional Oversight Heats Up

The issue has sparked sharp discussion about the balance between security protocols and the oversight responsibilities of elected officials.

Omar herself noted the initial warm welcome, saying, "We were initially invited in to do our congressional oversight and to exercise our Article I duties."


She added, "Shortly after we were let in, two officials came in and said they received a message that we were no longer allowed to be in the building and that they were rescinding our invitation and denying any further access to the building."

Now, let’s unpack this: Omar’s frustration is palpable, but isn’t there a case for order over spontaneous drop-ins at sensitive facilities?


DHS spokeswoman Tricia McLaughlin defended the policy, stating, "For the safety of detainees and staff, and in compliance with the agency’s mandate, the members of Congress were notified that their visit was improper and out of compliance with existing court orders and policies which mandate that members of Congress must notify ICE at least seven days in advance of congressional visits."


While safety is a fair concern, one might wonder if this seven-day rule is less about security and more about dodging tough questions—hardly a hallmark of transparency.


History of Access Rules Questioned

This isn’t the first time such restrictions have been attempted; a similar mandate from Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem was previously overturned by a federal judge for breaching laws that ensure lawmakers’ unrestricted access to funded facilities.

With this new rule, the administration seems to be testing the waters again, banking on a different funding technicality to sidestep past rulings.


Yet, if history is any guide, don’t be surprised if this policy faces another courtroom showdown—bureaucracy versus accountability is a tale as old as time.

WASHINGTON — Federal Reserve Chair Jerome Powell said Sunday the Department of Justice has served the central bank with subpoenas and threatened it with a criminal indictment over his testimony about the Fed’s building renovations.

The move represents a major escalation in President Trump’s battle with the Fed, an independent agency he has repeatedly attacked for not cutting its key interest rate as quickly as he prefers.


The subpoena relates to Powell’s testimony before the Senate Banking Committee in June, he said, regarding the Fed’s $2.5-billion renovation of two office buildings, a project that Trump criticized as excessive.


Until now, Powell had maintained a restrained approach to Trump’s criticisms and personal insults, which he has mostly ignored. But after Sunday’s actions, Powell issued a video statement in which he bluntly characterized the threats of criminal charges as “pretexts” to undermine the Fed’s independence when it comes to setting interest rates.

“This is about whether the Fed will be able to continue to set interest rates based on evidence and economic conditions — or whether instead monetary policy will be directed by political pressure or intimidation,” Powell said.


The central bank had attempted to placate the administration by dialling back some policies, such as efforts to consider the effect of climate change on the banking system, that Trump and his economic advisors clearly opposed.


In his testimony in June, Powell disputed some of the criticisms that had been levied against the Fed’s renovation of two historic office buildings, which have ballooned in cost.

The White House did not immediately respond to a message seeking comment Sunday.

The Justice Department said in a statement Sunday that it can’t comment on any particular case, but added that Atty. Gen. Pam Bondi “has instructed her US Attorneys to prioritize investigating any abuse of taxpayer dollars.”


A spokesperson for U.S. Atty. Jeanine Pirro’s office didn’t immediately respond Sunday to a text message and phone call seeking comment.


With the subpoenas, Powell becomes the latest perceived adversary of the president to face a criminal investigation by the Trump administration’s Justice Department. Trump has urged prosecutions of his political opponents, obliterating institutional guardrails for a Justice Department that for generations has taken care to make investigative and prosecutorial decisions independent of the White House.


The potential indictment has already drawn concern from one Republican senator, who said he’ll oppose any future nominee to the central bank, including any replacement for Powell, until “this legal matter is fully resolved.”


“If there were any remaining doubt whether advisors within the Trump administration are actively pushing to end the independence of the Federal Reserve, there should now be none,” said Sen. Thom Tillis of North Carolina, who sits on the Banking Committee that oversees Fed nominations. “It is now the independence and credibility of the Department of Justice that are in question.”

Outside that clinic, a mysterious plague was tearing through the South. It burned skin. It destroyed minds. It killed tens of thousands. Entire towns panicked.Every authority insisted it was infectious—a germ that spread through contact, demanding quarantine, isolation, fear.

January 12, 2026 – As the federal Liberal government proposes changes to the country’s criminal justice system aimed at concerns over violent repeat offenders, Canadians are expressing a growing concern about rising crime in their own communities. Some of the most common crimes facing Canadians, however, don’t involve ever seeing another person’s face.


New data from the non-profit Angus Reid Institute, the first in a series examining crime in Canada, finds three-in-five (62%) believe that over the last five years, crime has been rising in the communities where they live. It’s a proportion that far outnumbers those who say there’s been no change (24%) or a decrease (5%).


In 2014, more than a decade ago, Canadians were more likely to perceive stable crime rates (40%) than increasing ones (30%). The latter figure has doubled in the intervening years.


The perception is matched by empirical data from Statistics Canada, which shows a rise in both its Crime Severity Index and Violent Crime Severity Index since 2020.


That said, among the most widespread crimes – at least attempted – are fraud and identity theft, which appear to be increasing in frequency and targeting nearly everyone. More than four-in-five Canadians say they have been the target of an online or phone scam over the past two years.


For 30 per cent of the population this has resulted in the loss of information or money. Notably, Canadians lost more than $638 million in reported fraud cases in 2024, although only five to 10 per cent of such cases are thought to be reported to authorities.


What this means is that while 13 per cent of Canadians have been involved in a police-reported crime during this two-year period, more than one-in-three (36%) have been victims of a crime if expanded to include this rampant fraud.
