House/Church Rules

Rule #1: The less rules, the better.

Notice the absence of any verb in the above sentence. That is the way much scripture is written in the original languages. When translators and scholars came along to put it into English, they felt obligated to insert verbs like "The less rules there are, the better it is", or "the less rules that are required the better off we are". Why is this important? Because REQUIRED carries an entirely different meaning.

The truth is, we function best without rules, guided by love and each other's advice. We only require rules when the spirit of family conformity is lost to the spirit of individuality.

When everyone is "my mother and my brother" as Jesus described (Matt. 12:46-50, and when family honour is more important than personal satisfaction, then we don't need rules. We don't even need to distinguish the difference between brothers and cousins, not even between brothers and sisters, or mothers and fathers. There are only our parents and kin, for there is only one Faith, one Father, Teacher, who counts - and that is God in heaven. The rest of us are ambassadors for Him, or we are trainees (disciples) who need rules to assist in controlling youthful appetites.

When the fire within us is satisfied by consuming Him and His Infinite Love, we will not need to draw upon the short-lasting fires of anger, hunger and lust of the senses. Those strange fires are so disappointing they can only be satisfied by the devils who promise to excite them with things which destroy the body itself. The ultimate fire apart from God is suicide and hellfire. The Ultimate Fire in God raises us to reign with Him in heaven. (2 Tim. 2:12)

Rule #2: Pray without ceasing.

Rejoice always. Pray without ceasing. In everything give thanks. For this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you. (Thess. 5:16-18) The believer who lets long stretches of silence open up between God and themselves is the believer who becomes vulnerable to the same whispers that captured a third of the angels. The Seraphim never gave Lucifer that opening. They burned through every moment with unbroken praise. And the believer who burns through every moment also gives the enemy no opening.

There is one more dimension to consider. The Seraphim worship is not solitary. It is communal. They cry to one another. They reinforce each other's worship. They amplify each other's declarations. This is one of the most important reasons God designed his people to gather. The church is not just a social organization. It is a worshiping community. It is the gathering of voices that strengthen each other in the declaration of God's holiness. When believers gather to worship together, the same dynamic that protected the Seraphim begins to operate in human form. Voices cry to one another. The praise of one ignites the praise of another. The whole community burns together with greater intensity than any single believer could maintain alone.

This is why the writer of Hebrews commands believers not to forsake the assembly. Hebrews 10:25. Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as is the manner of some, but exhorting one another, and so much the more as you see the day approaching. Gathering together is not optional in the Christian life. It is essential to maintaining the fire of worship. The believer who isolates himself from the community of worshipers is the believer who lets the fire cool. The community is the firebox. The gathering is the bellows. The worship of many voices keeps the heat alive.

Rule #3: Seek the fellowship and support of your brothers in the Lord.

Proverbs 3:5 - "Trust not in thine own understanding."

Proverbs 27:17 - "As iron sharpens iron, so one man sharpens another."

Matthew 18:20 - "For where two or three gather together in my name, there am I with them."

Ecclesiastes 4:9-12 - "Two ae better than one..and a threefold cord is not easily broken."

Deuteronomy 32:30 - "One can chase a thousand, but two put ten thousand to flight."

Liberals quietly accelerate “voluntary” digital ID rollout

The Carney government is quietly expanding Canada’s digital ID infrastructure, rolling out pilot projects across multiple federal departments while insisting participation will remain “voluntary.”

An Employment and Social Development Canada briefing note, first reported by Blacklock’s Reporter, reiterates there are no plans for a mandatory national digital ID, despite acknowledging public skepticism among Canadians “distrustful of public institutions.”

“Digital credentials are secure electronic versions of physical documents like work permits, stored in a digital wallet,” the Jan. 14 briefing note said. “The government is creating a system so departments can issue digital versions of documents they already provide.”

The language echoes an Oct. 28, 2024 cabinet statement insisting there were “no plans to consider or introduce a federally issued digital ID,” even as Ottawa pursued what it described as “fast and efficient” digital government services.

GRAND RAPIDS, Michigan — To help Democrats win the midterms, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez is taking a shrewder, more pragmatic tack to her endorsements than others on the left.

She sidestepped Graham Platner’s Maine shipwreck, and on Sunday in Michigan, on a three-city swing for Senate Democratic hopeful Abdul El-Sayed, dealt another quiet blow to William Lawrence, the controversial Michigan congressional candidate who criticized Black political leaders and said their support for the party’s leadership “defangs the White left.”

Not only did she not endorse Lawrence, she took pains to skip Sunday’s hand-hoisting curtain-call photo-op with El-Sayed, Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.) and Lawrence, leaving the stage before it happened.

“I think that there's nuances to a candidate — I think — or to any campaign, that are holistic, but that doesn't mean that they aren't important,” AOC said when asked about that moment.

She spoke to Playbook in a rare interview backstage at DeVos Place after addressing a packed crowd of over 2,500.

“That doesn't mean that not endorsing in a race is rejection by any means, but I think that me choosing to enter a race has a high bar because of — I put a lot of energy into every candidate that I endorse.”

Was that why she didn’t appear with Lawrence? “I'm always careful before I issue any endorsements,” she said.

AOC also defended herself from criticisms that she’s moderated too much. “I think my vote record speaks for itself,” she said.

It all felt like a testing of the 2028 waters.

She struck post-partisan notes in this pivotal purple battleground, telling Playbook, “You can have a clear vision for what we're trying to accomplish as a country, and also include everyone in it, and to show that everyone has a place in that as well.”

And while the left flank and establishment wings of the party go to the mat in Michigan, New York, Wisconsin and elsewhere in the primaries, AOC is drawing a throughline between, cutting the figure of a 2028 presidential contender.

“I come from a working-class family. I didn't come from a militant leftist family,” AOC said in the interview. “I believe that these are the prescriptions that are going to help us as a country. And so I think that when we talk about it in that frame, it helps people understand that our conclusions are not just from this disconnected partisan motivation, but it is from a motivation to solve the real inequality that has been hurting us as a country.”

AOC described El-Sayed’s election as “genuinely important to the party because as we start to see the shamelessness and corruption from this administration, Democrats are going to be outspent. Period, by super PACs and dark money in general elections by Republicans, and I think that when we get to a point of figuring out how to have a strategic advantage that can break past some of these financial barriers, we can really figure out a playbook that works for everyone.”

So, is she in or not? “I mean, I can't say that I've ruled it out,” AOC said of her own presidential prospects.

El-Sayed, who’s said he wants to have an outsized role in 2028 if he wins, told Playbook AOC “is speaking to the needs that Michiganders are facing, and you know there's a lot of distance between here and there,” he said. “We're focused on 2026 right now, but anybody who's able to speak to those needs, I think, will have a great shot.”

In between Lansing and Grand Rapids rallies, AOC told us she tracked Spain’s 1-0 victory over Lionel Messi’s Argentina.

“While I have a soft spot for Messi,” she said, “It's always good to see an underdog win.”

THE OTHER BOSS:

But even as the party wrestles with factionalism in the Michigan battle for its soul in 2026, two of its leaders at opposite ideological ends — AOC and New Jersey Gov. Mikie Sherrill — are sounding more alike as they stake out different tacks toward 2028.

In an exclusive interview with Playbook, Sherrill, marking six months in office today that’s featured a Gateway Tunnel win over President Donald Trump and a passed state budget, told us she wants to be a 2028 powerbroker.

“The short answer is yes,” Sherrill said. “I want to make sure that what we see in any candidate in ‘28 and anybody that gets across the finish line, I want to see somebody who is on track with the focus that New Jersey has on creating opportunity for everyone and a great future for our kids.”

Could that be a progressive?

“I think what people want to see is less about a political spectrum and where you fall in it. There was recently a poll done in New Jersey of the Democratic electorate, and the two most popular people with 80 percent plus approval rating were myself and Bernie Sanders. So I'm telling you that what people want to see right now is somebody that is going to fight for their interest.”

ESPECIALLY IN MICHIGAN: It’s not all kumbaya yet as the insurgent left eyes the heavily Democratic Detroit-area district of Rep. Shri Thanedar for its next target. National DSA is endorsing challenger Donovan McKinney, Will Steakin scoops. Also adding to the pile-on: Rep. Summer Lee, who’s emerged as a favorite for progressives on the campaign trail, is also endorsing McKinney ahead of the August primary.

TOMORROW’S PRIMARIES: Arizona voters will take to the polls to decide between candidates in some heated and high-profile primary elections. In a crucial swing House target for Democrats, a very negative race between Marlene Galán-Woods and Amish Shah could leave whoever wins bruised for the general, NYT’s Sejal Govindarao reports, though Jay Feely also has to hold off Joseph Chaplik for the GOP nomination. Republicans’ gubernatorial contest pits Trump-backed Rep. Andy Biggs against more old-school Rep. David Schweikert, who warns that an ultra-MAGA figure could lose the party yet another statewide race, AP’s Jonathan Cooper and colleagues report.

2028 THIS WEEK: The DNC’s Rules & Bylaws Committee will meet Thursday and Friday in D.C. to continue considering states’ applications for Democrats’ first five 2028 presidential primaries. And California gubernatorial nominee Xavier Becerra is backing Nevada to go first (along with South Carolina to lead off in the South). The Silver State is “home to the very communities who have suffered most under the heavy hand of Donald Trump,” Becerra said in a statement, “and they should be first in line to send the message that his reign is over.”

2028 WEST WING WATCH: The West Wing chatter surrounding VP JD Vance and Secretary of State Marco Rubio’s 2028 prospects is heating up, two administration officials tell Dasha. Though both men deny any presidential politicking, those around them — including the president — are increasingly gossiping about who might come out on top after recent moments in the spotlight.

· Vance's lengthy Joe Rogan interview generated praise and criticism. Rubio delivered what many conservatives viewed as a polished, "presidential" address. The narratives shaping online: Vance owns the internet lane. Rubio owns the statesman lane. But the only kingmaker in this equation is Trump, and both officials say he regularly asks everyone and anyone whom they’d prefer for the top spot. Another person close to the administration notes POTUS has been praising Vance’s book tour appearances and the MOU with Iran (which has since fallen apart).

· “The insinuation that chatter is heating up about 2028 is completely false,” White House Communications Director Steven Cheung said in response. “There will be more than enough time to talk about 2028, but it’s not a topic of conversation yet.”

FIRST IN PLAYBOOK — Mark Kelly on the trail: The Arizona senator will keynote this year’s Iowa Democratic Wing Ding, taking place in Clear Lake next month. The famous annual fundraiser will feature top Iowa Democrats too. Kelly is also expected to carve out time for the Iowa State Fair.

Rahm Emanuel on the trail: The former U.S. ambassador to Japan, another potential 2028 contender, will head to Omaha, Nebraska, today to campaign with Democratic congressional nominee Denise Powell. The pair is expected to visit a Teamsters picket line and hold a presser on the minimum wage, as Emanuel seeks to direct Democrats’ energy away from safe-seat primaries and toward flippable seats. He’ll also attend a Powell fundraiser.

AND ANOTHER…FIRST IN PLAYBOOK — Ad it up: Texas state Rep. James Talarico’s latest Senate ad is a positive spot that touts his background and says he’ll “take on corruption and make this economy work for working people again.” The 30-second ad is part of a seven-figure buy and starts airing statewide today on TV. NRCC SETS ITS TARGETS: Republicans' House campaign arm is adding a final seven districts to its list of targets this cycle, Andrew Howard scoops this morning. The National Republican Congressional Committee is putting AL-02, FL-14, FL-22, LA-06, MO-05, OH-01 and TN-09 on its list — all seats made redder via GOP redistricting this cycle.

FIVE THINGS YOU NEED TO KNOW

1. WAR REPORT: Iran wakes up today from the ninth straight night of U.S. attacks, which intensified on both sides as the region plunges into a deeper return to war. The latest escalation followed the weekend’s third U.S. troop death of a service member in Iraq who was trying to detonate an Iranian drone, U.S. Central Command said. That tally may rise to four, as the U.S. worked to identify remains that are believed to be of a soldier who went missing during the deadly attack in Jordan. “We hit it very hard again tonight,” Trump said yesterday, “and we did that in honor” of the U.S. troops killed.

· Is this an escalatory spiral? Though the war hasn’t returned to the all-out nature of its early days, more American deaths could increase domestic pressure on Trump to retaliate — or seek peace. Meanwhile, the price of oil pushed past $90.

2. THAT’S ALL SHE WROTE: Just like that, Troy Jackson is effectively the next Democratic Senate nominee in Maine. Though the delegates he won in a landslide aren’t legally required to vote for him at this weekend’s convention, Nirav Shah, Dan Kleban and Jordan Wood by last night had joined Secretary of State Shenna Bellows in bowing out of the race. The sprint reflects Democrats’ desire to coalesce quickly around someone with a shot against deep-pocketed GOP Sen. Susan Collins.

· But but but: Many Maine Democrats fear this messy, semi-closed process could damage their chances, that Jackson lacks Graham Platner’s charisma and that he’s a relative unknown next to Collins, POLITICO’s Andrew Howard and Aaron Pellish report from Augusta.

3. EYES ON THE SKIES: Trump told reporters that upgrades are coming to his new Air Force One jet, the Qatari gift that’s raised security concerns apparently so sensitive that the FBI subpoenaed NYT reporters over their coverage of it. “As I understand it, in about a month or so, they’re going to send it to have it be maxed out,” the president said yesterday. 4. NOTHING TO SEE HERE: FBI managers received guidance last week that the bureau won’t look into people’s clashes with or assault claims against immigration enforcement officers anymore, NYT’s Devlin Barrett and Hamed Aleaziz report. “If enacted, such a change would sharply limit law enforcement scrutiny of immigration agents,” just as ICE tactics and fatal shootings return to the national spotlight. The Justice Department and DHS denied the change.

5. THE CRISIS IN VENEZUELA: “The U.S. Saw an Investment Boom in Venezuela. Now It’s a $37 Billion Problem,” by WSJ’s Kejal Vyas and Ryan Dubé in La Guaira: “[T]he Trump administration is facing a daunting multibillion-dollar cleanup after twin earthquakes last month tore open roads, downed power lines and flattened buildings. … Failure to rebuild risks more unrest, creating a challenge not only for [Delcy Rodríguez’s] hold on power but also for a U.S. administration that sees Rodríguez as vital to its plans for stabilizing Venezuela.”

HOLLYWOODLAND — From the Iran war to the battles of ancient Greece, conservative influencers have taken on the box office with a feud over Christopher Nolan’s blockbuster “The Odyssey,” which hit theaters over the weekend, Dasha reports. Leading up to the premiere, a number of notable right-wing accounts launched a trend of criticizing the film as too woke, mostly due to casting decisions. Then, another set of conservative influencers, including Ben Shapiro and David Rubin, came out praising the film.

But how much of the chatter is organic? Another person, who heads a conservative influencer marketing company, tells Dasha they got outreach from both camps looking to pay them for social media content. They declined the offers, but it’s an example of an increasingly controversial practice of various interest groups paying to create organic-looking trends online.

WELCOME TO THE WORLD — VP JD Vance and second lady Usha Vance announced their fourth child, Alec Neel Vance, arrived yesterday morning. Both mom and son “are happy and healthy.”

MONUMENTAL NEWS — As Trump pushes for fast triumphal arch approvals, the Advisory Council on Historic Preservation is considering making rules changes that would speed up the process, The Atlantic’s Janay Kingsberry scooped. Though it could face legal challenges, such a move could also lay the groundwork for other monuments to be built more quickly, with a lower bar and fewer impediments.

SPORTS BLINK — In the end at the World Cup, it was Trump on stage with the victors from Spain — the country whose socialist government has frequently feuded with him, POLITICO’s Ali Walker and colleagues capture from East Rutherford. “Turns out, revenge is a dish best served on a warm Sunday afternoon in a New Jersey swamp,” they write. Though Trump gave Spain the trophy, he celebrated the tournament for uniting the world, showing off the U.S. and really making the States “a soccer country.”

- US Will 'Assure Flow of Traffic' Through Hormuz

The United States "will continue to assure flow of traffic" through the Strait of Hormuz, Energy Secretary Chris Wright told ABC News' "This Week" on Sunday after the U.S. military struck Iran for the eighth consecutive night for violating the terms of the memorandum of understanding that sought to end the war.

President Donald Trump "is always looking for the diplomatic off-ramp ... [and] wants to end with a peaceful agreement with Iran, but it takes two parties to do that," Wright said. "If they're ... ready to do that, that's the way it will end.

"If not, we will continue to assure flow of traffic through the Strait without Iran's cooperation.

The energy secretary insisted that the U.S. is currently "assuring that oil and gas and other products can flow through the Strait of Hormuz with or without Iranian cooperation. And we've continued to degrade their offensive military capabilities."

When pressed about comments Wright made in March predicting that the Iran war would end in a few weeks or "sooner than that," the energy secretary said, "We needed four to six weeks for military actions.

"They went for five and a half weeks. We did a pause to try to get an agreement with the Iranian people to allow oil to flow without them attacking it. They've proven unwilling to do that. And we've pivoted."

Wright also insisted that it is "absolutely not" true that the flow of traffic through the Strait of Hormuz effectively stopped over the past few days.

"I get the data on that every day," Wright said. "The seven-day trailing average right now is just under 7 million barrels a day flowing through the waterway and just under 7 million barrels a day additional flow through the bypass pipelines.

"So, we're at a little under 14 million barrels a day from the Arabian Gulf region. That's two-thirds of pre-conflict traffic, dramatically up from where we were back in March when I was last on your show."

Dr. Jerome Corsi, who has a Harvard PhD in political science and has written more than 50 books, predicted last month that “President Trump was Not Going to Allow Dems to Steal Midterms.” With Trump’s big election and voter fraud announcement on national television Thursday night, it is taking shape how he’s going to stop the steal in the midterms and beyond. Dr. Corsi says, “Donald Trump is doing exactly what I thought he would do. He’s setting up the case that there is voter fraud on a massive scale. Now, especially, President Trump said the Chinese have penetrated our computers and are manipulating our elections.

That’s extremely important because the most important thing established is that we are under attack by a foreign enemy. It’s another nation in our election system. That’s a national security emergency right there. That’s what President Trump needs to establish, that one point, in order to have a National Emergency Declaration to protect the nation against a foreign enemy. People are missing the point.

That was the most important point he made (Thursday night 7/16/26–Trump voter fraud speech starts at about the 16 min. mark). Also, there is Venezuela, and it was able to affect our elections, and they cheated in their own election utilizing the same computers and the same systems.”

Why is the Lying Legacy Media and the Democrats hyperventilating over this? Dr. Corsi says, “The mainstream media is going nuts because they know if President Trump does a National Security Emergency, it will take a two thirds majority in both houses (House and Senate) to overturn it. That’s unlikely to happen. There is nothing they could do about it, and I doubt the Supreme Court would take up the case.”

Dems also know that stopping voter fraud would cause them to dramatically lose House and Senate seats. Michigan Senator Elissa Slotkin recently said if the Save America Act was passed “. . . it would be hard for any Democrat in any state to win any election.” This is exactly what Dr. Corsi has been saying about cutting off the Democrat election fraud.

We are also finding out that the intel agencies and law enforcement knew about the China election breech in 2020 and hid it from President Trump. Dr Corsi says, “All the big culprits are the intelligence agencies, and Donald Trump called them out (Thursday), and he let them know he knows their game. That was a very serious speech. He laid down some big markers. Treason and major crimes were committed by our intelligence agencies against the President of the United States. The media was attempting to lie to destroy his Presidency and continuing to do so even today. The Democrats are turning into communists and babbling their nonsense out into the streets.”

Dr. Corsi has long said the voter rolls have to be cleaned up and purged of dead people and all non-eligible voters. Corsi says, “The voter rolls are a mess because Democrats want them to be a mess. A lot of Republicans are happy with stealing too. . .. Is the Trump Administration going to stop asking to look at state voter rolls and start forcing states to reveal what is on them? Dr. Corsi says, “First, they are going to arrest them, then they will send in the others to have a look. They are going to say you are committing voter fraud, and you are under arrest.”

So, this is going to get ugly? Dr. Corsi says, “Yes, and the American people won’t mind seeing heads of state, Brad Raffensperger (GA Secretary of State), charged with criminal offences. You can’t commit voter fraud and say I am going to protect the illegals on my voter list and I am not going to let ICE arrest anybody. These are crimes. If these government officials want to commit crimes, then fine, let’s arrest them and prosecute them. . .. Trump said this in his speech. He said there are crimes that are being committed that are raised to the level of treason. . .. The gloves are coming off in a big way. . .. All these guys ought to be lawyering up right now. I am not sure the Democrat Party will survive this.”

You can claim this is all conspiracy theory nonsense if you like, but the reality is, both Trump and Q were talking about China interfering in the 2020 election in real-time, and given the new Declassification, there appears to be some level of truth to it.

I think we are headed to the massive revelation that the Communist Dems conspired with the CCP to release a virus and duplicate millions of mail-in ballots, to overthrow the sitting President of the United States.

That would explain why Joe Biden inexplicably garnered 81 million votes, and why all the swing states jumped from Trump to Biden after truckloads of mail-in ballots arrived in deep blue counties in all the swing states.

The rabbit hole is deep.

- Reflections on the Eve of 2027

If someone had whispered to me, only a few years ago, that mankind would awaken from centuries of fear as naturally as a child wakes from a pleasant nap, I would have smiled politely and suggested they spend a little less time reading prophecy and a little more time planting tomatoes.

Yet here we are.

Tonight the calendar closes upon 2026, and no historian could adequately explain what has happened. Economists have exhausted their graphs. Politicians have misplaced their speeches. Television pundits now sound remarkably like poets, which proves that miracles are not only possible but occasionally amusing.

The greatest revelation was never the restoration of currencies, nor the exposure of hidden corruption, nor even the astonishing technologies that seemed to appear overnight like flowers after spring rain.

The greatest revelation was the discovery that humanity had never truly been poor. It had only imagined itself so.

Neville Goddard once suggested that the world faithfully mirrors the state of consciousness we consent to occupy. If that be true—and this remarkable year has persuaded many that it is—then perhaps civilization simply awakened from a long and rather unpleasant dream of limitation.

For generations, men labored beneath invisible burdens. Debt became as ordinary as breathing. Scarcity was taught like arithmetic. Fear was sold wholesale and consumed retail. The machinery of society became exceedingly skilled at convincing free souls they were helpless passengers.

It turns out the machinery was never stronger than the imagination that powered it. Once enough people ceased believing in fear, fear resigned its position without protest. The old systems did not so much collapse as quietly evaporate, much like frost beneath the morning sun.

The remarkable thing about abundance is not that it creates generosity. It merely uncovers it. The moment families found themselves free from endless financial anxiety, something beautiful occurred.

The majority did not rush first toward palaces. They rushed toward people. Communities gathered to build homes where none had stood before. Children without families suddenly found themselves surrounded by them. Wells appeared where villages had thirsted. Regenerative farms transformed neglected fields into orchards that seemed almost eager to repay the earth for centuries of neglect.

Food forests now grow where abandoned parking lots once baked beneath the summer sun. Libraries are busy again. Music drifts from open windows. Neighbors know each other’s names. Even the birds appear less suspicious.

There was another surprise. People discovered they rather enjoyed working. Not because they had to, but because they finally could choose work worthy of their gifts.

The workweek quietly shrank, while satisfaction expanded in equal measure. Artists returned to forgotten studios. Grandfathers built violins. Grandmothers learned astronomy. Children spent afternoons climbing trees instead of schedules. Engineers planted gardens. Farmers studied philosophy. Executives discovered fishing. And even accountants began smiling, though medical science has yet to explain that particular phenomenon.

Speaking of science, the advances arrived with astonishing speed.

Healing technologies once confined to speculation became ordinary fixtures of modern life. Bodies long burdened by chronic illness found new vitality. Energy returned. Vision sharpened. Strength blossomed where weakness had lingered.

Much has been said about governments. Perhaps the finest compliment one can pay the new order is that people think about government far less than before. Communities govern themselves with remarkable common sense.

Transparency replaced secrecy. Service replaced ambition. Power returned to its rightful owner—the individual conscience. One begins to suspect that liberty requires fewer regulations than previously advertised.

And of course, there were disclosures.

Volumes could be written about forgotten histories, concealed inventions, and truths that had patiently waited for humanity to become emotionally mature enough to receive them.

Yet perhaps the most breathtaking discovery was not hidden beneath mountains or buried within secret archives. It was written across the stars.

Humanity came to understand that Earth had never been an isolated outpost spinning alone through a silent universe. We had always belonged to a far greater family—a vast communion of intelligent life, each civilization expressing another facet of the Infinite Creator’s imagination.

More frequent encounters were not marked by fear, but by recognition. It felt less like meeting strangers than embracing distant relatives whose faces stirred memories too ancient for language. They arrived not as conquerors or saviors, for neither role was needed. They came as elder brothers and sisters, delighted that humanity had finally reached the maturity to remember its place among countless worlds.

They offered remarkable knowledge—new sciences, elegant technologies, and deeper understandings of consciousness—but their greatest gift required no machinery. They reminded us who we were.

Again and again they returned us to a truth the sages of every age had quietly whispered: that consciousness is the first cause; that imagination is creative; that love is not merely an emotion but the organizing principle of the universe; and that every soul is a unique expression of the One Life exploring itself through infinite forms.

They smiled whenever we praised their accomplishments, gently insisting that the same creative power lived within us. “We have not come to awaken your dependence,” they would say, “but your remembrance.”

As humanity accepted this wider family of creation, the old habit of division quietly dissolved. Nations that had struggled to see one another as neighbors now found themselves members of a cosmic household. Religious traditions discovered new harmony rather than contradiction, each recognized as another beautiful dialect spoken in the language of the Divine.

And after the initial astonishment subsided, something curious happened.

People forgave. Not because wrongdoing was insignificant. But rather because carrying yesterday’s chains into tomorrow’s paradise seemed unnecessary. Forgiveness turned out to be less about the past than about refusing to mortgage the future.

Spiritual life blossomed naturally. Churches filled without coercion. Ashrams welcomed seekers without rivalry. Meditation halls stood beside community gardens. Ancient scriptures found fresh readers. Scientists and mystics, having argued for centuries, finally discovered they had been describing the same mountain from opposite sides.

Perhaps the most heartwarming sight of all is found in ordinary homes. Families gather without glancing nervously at clocks. Dogs nap contentedly beneath dinner tables. Music replaces background noise. Friends linger after sunset. Neighbors exchange vegetables instead of gossip. Grandchildren know the stories of their grandparents.

People grow tomatoes, lemons, figs, herbs, and roses not because survival requires it, but because beauty deserves participation. Forests are expanding. Rivers are healing. Wildlife has begun returning to places it abandoned generations ago. The earth seems relieved. And perhaps she has every right to be.

Someone recently asked me what caused this extraordinary transformation. I answered with the only explanation that seems sufficient. Humanity finally remembered who it was. Not frightened consumers. Not competing tribes. Not isolated strangers. But expressions of one Life appearing in billions of wonderfully unique forms.

That remembrance changed economics because it changed consciousness. It changed politics because it changed character. It changed technology because invention followed compassion rather than conquest. It changed civilization because enough people quietly accepted a different story about themselves.

As midnight approaches and another year prepares to unfold, there is surprisingly little left to wish for. Not because every dream has been fulfilled, but because humanity has rediscovered the quiet secret that fulfills every dream before it appears.

Abundance was never merely wealth. Freedom was never merely politics. Peace was never merely the absence of conflict. They were states of being waiting patiently for recognition. And once recognized, they expressed themselves as naturally as spring follows winter.

May future generations read these pages with amusement and ask one another, “Did people truly believe they were separate from one another? Did they really imagine that fear could govern forever?”
