Italian archaeologists were digging beneath Jerusalem’s Church of the Holy Sepulchre when they happened upon something everybody’s been looking for… an ancient landscape that lines up with the Bible’s descriptions of where Jesus Christ was crucified and buried.

The church has stood in that spot since the fourth century, and Christians have believed for some time that it’s the site of Christ’s death, burial, and resurrection. But restoration work gave researchers a very rare chance to look under the floor and see what’s been hidden underneath for centuries.
And what they found was pretty cool. It’s an abandoned quarry that had been partly filled with soil and used for cultivation. But they could also see rock-cut tombs and evidence of an ancient garden.
And that’s what caught the attention of the pros, because the Gospel of John describes a garden near the place where Jesus was crucified, with a new tomb inside.
Then archaeologists got to work and started uncovering the landscape under the church.
During the final phases of the excavations in 2025 — they began three years prior during a floor restoration — the team found a peculiar landscape that suggests they might’ve been onto something.

While no one had been found in the tomb, the abundance of parallels was nonetheless compelling.
That’s one heck of a coincidence, right?
But it wasn’t just the garden that was lining up.
The Bible puts the crucifixion near Jerusalem but just outside the city gate. Archaeologists say the quarry would’ve been in that kind of location during the time of Christ.
Then they started discovering soil and could prove people were growing things there.
They also found traces of olive trees and grapevines dating back to around the time Jesus died.

Another point of fascination? Sections of the quarry measured 20 feet deep and had been filled with dirt, suggesting that it served a pastoral purpose.
The site’s agricultural function was further supported by the discovery of olive trees and grapevines — possibly the same plant referenced in John 19:41 — that date back to the time of Jesus‘ death, which is believed to have happened around 33 A.D.
“The gospel mentions a green area between the Calvary and the tomb, and we identified these cultivated fields,” Stasolla told the Times of Israel.
In fact, the graves, which were carved directly into the stone, proved that it was an actual burial ground, and matched descriptions by Matthew, Mark and Luke of Jesus’ grave as having been carved from rock.
The discoveries show a landscape that looks very similar to the one described in the Gospels, but there’s another intriguing clue… centuries later, Christians were already treating one tomb at the site as “important.” That means the location was likely remembered and passed down long before this church was built over it.

The evidence goes beyond parallels to the Bible. One particular chamber had been obstructed by a Roman structure built during Emperor Hadrian’s reign in the second century.
Around 200 years later, builders employed by Constantine’s workers destroyed the Roman structure and dug up the site to reveal the tomb, which they then separated from the other chambers. They even bestowed with its own Christian shrine where pilgrims could gather around and worship.
While this doesn’t definitely prove that this was Jesus’ burial site, the campaign to preserve it suggested that knowledge of the site had been passed down to early generations of Christian worshippers.
“The real treasure we are revealing is the history of the people who made this site what it is by expressing their faith here,” Stasolla told the Times. “Whether someone believes or not in the historicity of the Holy Sepulchre, the fact that generations of people did is objective. The history of this place is the history of Jerusalem, and at least from a certain moment, it is the history of the worship of Jesus Christ.”
Very cool. It seems somebody remembered this place for a reason…
But centuries passed, empires came and went, buildings went up and came down, and Christians still returned to this one tomb.
Now archaeologists are digging through those layers one by one.

While Washington debates CLARITY, something far more consequential is happening beneath the political noise:
The architecture is advancing.
DTCC is moving regulated financial infrastructure worth $114 Trillion toward DLT.
The SEC has provided pathways.
Existing law still governs ownership, securities, custody, contracts and investor rights.
The institutions responsible for protecting staggering amounts of civilization’s accumulated value are moving forward.
So I asked the question that matters:
SO WHAT” if the Senate fails?
What if Congressional CLARITY is extraordinarily desirable – but not existential?
What if America has already assembled enough law, regulatory authority, institutional governance, contractual protection and technological safeguards to create what I call:
CLARITY EQUIVALENCE.
· If so, Washington’s political paralysis may slow the transformation.
· It may complicate it.
· It may surrender American competitive advantage.
· But it no longer possesses the power to stop it.
That is an enormously significant reality to embrace.
And history will eventually tell us whether it was correct.
So don’t take my word for it.

What if we think of the cross not as a religious symbol – but a visual lesson about reconciliation?
God is center justified because I see God as the Source and Origin of Life, the Universal Reference Point, Designing Principle and Lawgiver of all Laws.
The vertical axis is the Master’s Story: THE → GOD → WINS. God enters His Creation. The Word becomes flesh. Christ lives His Design perfectly, serves rather than dominates, loves rather than coerces, willingly s--------s Himself, overcomes death, and ultimately sits in victory – with The God of Life.
The horizontal axis tells our story of response: SORT → GOD → KUWL. Humanity encounters an overwhelming universe of information, claims, desires, fears, institutions and choices. We hold responsibility to SORT things well. We can exercise our free will to start with God at the Center – the reference point against which everything is tested – or outsource our 1:1 responsibility to others. Or, we can accept His invitation to humbly seek Knowledge → Understanding → Wisdom → Life by God’s Design.
And this creates the extraordinary convergence, the crossover – with God at the very center:
Creator meets creation.
Heaven meets earth.
Perfect meets imperfect.
Truth meets choice.
God meets humanity.
Not through domination, but freely through reconciliation.
Christ Jesus therefore becomes both the demonstration and the invitation. He does not merely explain The Way. He lived it. He demonstrated what humanity looks like when perfectly aligned with the Creator’s Design – and invites humanity to follow freely.
This cross reflects my understanding as simply as possible.
