Monday 5-20-24

Verses for today:

In this was manifested the love of God toward us, because that God sent his only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through him.

1 John 4:9 KJV

Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.

Acts 2:38 KJV

But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judæa, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.

Acts 1:8 KJV

The ‘Ring’-of-TRUTH...

Ukraine war update- long story short:

The owned media are telling you that Zelensky is losing ground to Russian advances because of hold-ups in foreign aid and boots on the ground.  The truth is that money sent to build anti-tank walls (made of cement pyramids) disappeared into Ukrainian pockets.

Also, Ukrainians don't want to be enlisted but families of draft dodgers will lose benefits so they enlist and surrender to the Russians at the first opportunity.  Ukrainians know that they will be better taken care of in Russian prison camps than back home.

Bill Maher takes jab at the left's outrage brigade who believe Harrison Butker is 'history's greatest monster':

Maher exposes the irony of the left's criticism of Butker while defending Hamas.

Comedian Bill Maher recently struck down those outraged on the left who have been critical of Kansas City Chiefs kicker Harrison Butker. The comedian said he does not understand why there is such pushback.

Butker, who is Catholic, made a series of remarks during his commencement speech at the private Catholic school Benedictine College. As a result, many on the left have been outraged, claiming that Butker should lose his job as a professional football player for the remarks.

'I don't see what the big crime is. I really don't.'

During a panel discussion on Maher's "Real Time," the comedian mocked critics who have characterized Butker as "history's greatest monster."

Maher said that he "can't express how much this guy [Butker] is not like me," adding that "[h]e's religious. He loves marriage. He loves kids... And he's now history's greatest monster."

"Again, I don't agree with much with this guy, but I don't get the thing. He said… ‘Some of you may go on to lead successful careers in the world.' Ok, that seems fairly, like, modern. ‘But I would venture to guess that the majority of you are most excited about your marriage and the children you will bring into this world.’ I don't see what the big crime is. I really don't."

"And I think this is part of the problem people have with the left is that lots of people in this country are like this. Like he's saying some of you may go on to lead successful careers, but a lot of you are excited about this other way that people- everybody used to be. And now can't that be a choice too?" Maher added.

"And I feel like they feel very put upon, like there's only one way to be a good person and that's to get an advanced degree from one of those a****** factories like Harvard."

Maher also went on to address the irony of those on the left cherry-picking what to be outraged about.

"I find it very ironic that he's saying, ‘You know what, in my world, you know, we like the women to stay at home and just have babies’ and the college kids and the young people find this absolutely abhorrent, but they're demonstrating for Hamas, who make that the law!" Maher said.

"It's not just an opinion in Hamas, that you stay home and have the babies. They will enforce you [to do] that!"

Helicopter Carrying Iran’s President Has Crashed, State Media Reports - The New York Times:

DUBAI, United Arab Emirates — A helicopter carrying Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi suffered a “hard landing” on Sunday, Iranian state media reported, without elaborating. Some began urging the public to pray for Raisi and the others on board as rescue crews sped through a misty, rural forest where his helicopter was believed to be.

The likely crash comes as Iran under Raisi and Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei launched an unprecedented drone-and-missile attack on Israel just last month and has enriched uranium closer than ever to weapons-grade levels. Meanwhile, Iran has faced years of mass protests against its Shiite theocracy over an ailing economy and women’s rights — making the moment that much more sensitive for Tehran and the future of the country as the Israel-Hamas war inflames the wider Middle East.

Raisi was traveling in Iran’s East Azerbaijan province. State TV said the incident happened near Jolfa, a city on the border with with the nation of Azerbaijan, some 600 kilometers (375 miles) northwest of the Iranian capital, Tehran. Later, state TV put it farther east near the village of Uzi, but details remained contradictory.

Traveling with Raisi were Iran’s Foreign Minister Hossein Amirabdollahian, the governor of Iran’s East Azerbaijan province and other officials and bodyguards, the state-run IRNA news agency reported. One local government official used the word “crash” to describe the incident, but he acknowledged to an Iranian newspaper that he had yet to reach the site himself.

Neither IRNA nor state TV offered any information on Raisi’s condition in the hours afterward. However, hard-liners urged the public to pray for him. State TV later aired images of the faithful praying at Imam Reza Shrine in the city of Mashhad, one of Shiite Islam’s holiest sites, as well as in Qom and other locations across the country.

“The esteemed president and company were on their way back aboard some helicopters and one of the helicopters was forced to make a hard landing due to the bad weather and fog,” Interior Minister Ahmad Vahidi said in comments aired on state TV. “Various rescue teams are on their way to the region but because of the poor weather and fogginess it might take time for them to reach the helicopter.”

He added: “The region is a bit (rugged) and it’s difficult to make contact. We are waiting for rescue teams to reach the landing site and give us more information.”

Rescuers were attempting to reach the site, state TV said, but had been hampered by poor weather conditions. There had been heavy rain and fog reported with some wind. IRNA called the area a “forest” and the region is known to be mountainous as well. State TV aired images of SUVs racing through a wooded area.

A rescue helicopter tried to reach the area where authorities believe Raisi’s helicopter was, but it couldn’t land due to the heavy mist, emergency services spokesman Babak Yektaparast told IRNA.

Raisi had been on the border with Azerbaijan early Sunday to inaugurate a dam with Azerbaijan’s President Ilham Aliyev. The dam is the third one that the two nations built on the Aras River. The visit came despite chilly relations between the two nations, including over a gun attack on Azerbaijan’s Embassy in Tehran in 2023, and Azerbaijan’s diplomatic relations with Israel, which Iran’s Shiite theocracy views as its main enemy in the region.

Iran flies a variety of helicopters in the country, but international sanctions make it difficult to obtain parts for them. Its military air fleet also largely dates back to before the 1979 Islamic Revolution. IRNA published images it described as Raisi taking off in what resembled a Bell 412 helicopter, with a blue-and-white paint scheme previously seen in published photographs.

Raisi, 63, is a hard-liner who formerly led the country’s judiciary. He is viewed as a protégé of Khamenei and some analysts have suggested he could replace the 85-year-old leader after his death or resignation from the role.

Raisi won Iran’s 2021 presidential election, a vote that saw the lowest turnout in the Islamic Republic’s history. Raisi is sanctioned by the U.S. in part over his involvement in the mass execution of thousands of political prisoners in 1988 at the end of the bloody Iran-Iraq war.

Under Raisi, Iran now enriches uranium at nearly weapons-grade levels and hampers international inspections. Iran has armed Russia in its war on Ukraine, as well as launched a massive drone-and-missile attack on Israel amid its war against Hamas in the Gaza Strip. It also has continued arming proxy groups in the Mideast, like Yemen’s Houthi rebels and Lebanon’s Hezbollah.

Meanwhile, mass protests in the country have raged for years. The most recent involved the 2022 death of Mahsa Amini, a woman who had been earlier detained over allegedly not wearing a hijab, or headscarf, to the liking of authorities. The monthslong security crackdown that followed the demonstrations killed more than 500 people and saw over 22,000 detained.

In March, a United Nations investigative panel found that Iran was responsible for the “physical violence” that led to Amini’s death.

The U.S. State Department said it was “closely following reports of a possible hard landing of a helicopter in Iran carrying the Iranian president and foreign minister.”

Kids in Crisis:

Having worked for CAS for a number of years as a foster-home parent, I can tell you many social workers lie without batting an eye.  And so do many foster parents.  It's about time to shine the light of good record keeping on their activities, just like we did with the residential schools.

Bishop Barron added that the social media world has increased fear in young people of simply answering the front door. Social media is brutal, “a flood of negativity,” while other peoples’ lives look so much better. Other people look so happy, successful and beautiful. “But life isn’t like that. We have good days and bad days,” Barron said. You might think that you are not that beautiful but nobody is, he said.

Canadian psychologist Jordan Peterson is blunt about self-centeredness. “There is no technical difference between thinking about yourself and being miserable,” Peterson said in an online lecture, adding that psychologists have known this for 20 years. But he is quick to argue that if a physician offers medication, take it. You might need every means at your disposal to get well, he said.

Interestingly, 20th century Swiss analytical psychologist Carl Jung said that “At bottom, every psychological problem is a spiritual problem.”

Sylvester Stallone is about to score one huge payday for this extremely rare collectible:

Sylvester Stallone helped redefine the action movie genre.

In the 1980s Stallone was synonymous with big muscles, big guns, and big blockbusters.

And now Sylvester Stallone is about to score one huge payday for this extremely rare collectible.

Stallone to auction off his “Holy Grail” watch.

Sylvester Stallone is set to turn over 11 of his watches to Sotheby’s for auction.

But one piece stands about above the rest.

YouTube personality – and watch expert – Nico Leonard van der Horst told TMZ that one of Stallone’s watches being turned over for auction is the “Holy Grail” of time pieces.

That would be the Patek Philippe Grandmaster Chime.

The complexity and rarity of the watch make it the most expensive piece in the collection.

“The Grandmaster Chime is one of the most complicated and exclusive wristwatches made — with just a small handful in circulation — and that’s why Leonard says it’ll go for well over $5 million, which is what it’s pegged to fetch once it actually goes up for sale,” TMZ reported.

The initial asking price is $5,000,000.

But the last time one of the watches went up for auction the sale price reached $31,000,000.

“The last time a Patek Philippe Grandmaster Chime was up for auction, it sold for a record $31 million. That was in 2019, and that one wasn’t owned by Rambo, which is why Leonard tells us this one from Sly will likely go for far more than the $5 mil estimate,” TMZ also reported.

Stallone’s latest project

Stallone is currently filming season 2 of Tulsa King, the Taylor Sheridan created show for Paramount+.

In Tulsa King, Stallone plays Dwight Manfredi, a New York mobster sent to Tulsa, Oklahoma by his crime family to build a new empire following his release from a lengthy prison sentence.

Season 1 ended with Manfredi’s love interest – ATF agent Stacy Beale – seting him up to get arrested by the feds.

In addition, Manfredi’s rivals in New York are preparing to make a move against him.

Stallone teased season 2 in a video posted to Instagram.

“You have no idea what’s coming. Trust me,” Stallone told fans.

Tulsa King will also follow the model of Sheridan’s other smash hit Yellowstone.

While Tulsa King will stream on Paramount+, the show will also air episodes on CBS.

CBS and Paramount+ need new hits with Yellowstone ending its run this November.

Getting an actor the caliber of Stallone to star in a series like Tulsa King is one of the new trends in streaming shows.

Since TV seasons no longer require 25-episode commitments, it’s easier to work around the schedules of major movie stars. The decline in movie theater business also made streaming shows a more attractive option for stars that fans used to have to buy a ticket to see perform.

In this way, Tulsa King is also following the model of Yellowstone where the presence of Kevin Costner was the original hook that drew in fans.

Green Energy 11-42X higher than they tell you:

the “real costs” of wind and solar energy “explode” and are actually 11 to 42 times higher when the need for battery storage facilities and project disposal costs are factored in, according to Lomborg, who credits that calculation to a 2022 peer-reviewed study.

This makes “solar by far the most expensive electricity source, followed by wind,” he writes.

Another recent study shows that the U.S. would need to build three months’ worth of battery storage to shift all electricity production to wind and solar, up from the current 7 minutes of storage.

Lomborg points out that this would cost the U.S. five times its current GDP, and then those batteries would have to be replaced in 15 years.

Staggering numbers are already being spent to get nowhere near that target. Governments worldwide dumped $1.8 trillion last year into their attempted transition to green energy.

Five of Ontario’s top-earning bureaucrats work for Ontario Power Generation. They were led by President and CEO Kenneth Hartwick whose $1.925 million salary in 2023 was up 11.5% from 2022.

By comparison, the provincial cabinet minister in charge of Ontario’s Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs portfolio, Lisa Thompson, made a salary of $165,851 last year.

Kayleigh McEnany Drops MAJOR Trump News LIVE On Fox:

Former White House press secretary Kayleigh McEnany asserted that her former employer, Donald Trump, possesses the “moral authority” on the matter and attacked President Joe Biden for his insufficient response to the widespread anti-Israel demonstrations occurring on college and university campuses across the nation.

McEnany contrasted the former president’s forceful handling of the eruption of protests and violence last week on Fox News’s “Outnumbered” show with Biden’s sluggish and belated reaction. She added that she wished to stop hearing accusations of “anti-Semitism” from the right.

“This is a problem of the left. Joe Biden hails from the left. He is a Democratic president. I’m sorry, but I give him no credit today. Zero credit today. I like to give Biden credit were credit’s due. Not today,” began McEnany. “So, Biden speaks today because, politically, the moment demanded it. But what did he have time to do over the last nine days?

“Take issue with the effort of Florida to protect unborn babies. He went to the White House Correspondents Dinner. He did a campaign event in D.C. and a campaign event in Delaware. He found time for all that. He even went on Howard Stern. He found all the time in the world for that. But he couldn’t speak out about this,” she continued.

She continued:

You don’t get credit for that. And then about a minute into his speech, which, by the way, only lasted about a minute or two — so, yeah, clearly not prioritizing this — about a minute or two to speak. He says this is not a moment for politics. It’s a moment for moral clarity. Well, it’s not a moment for politics. Then why have you treated it so politically?

Here’s the sad part. The press will let him get away with this. If Donald Trump had delivered those exact same remarks in the exact same timeline, the White House press briefing room would be at a fever pitch…We would be asked, “Do you denounce the support from any anti-Semitic protester?” And unless we denounced every young person in the country, that wouldn’t be enough. And then we would be asked, “Will you pull their student loans?” If we didn’t answer, there would be a ferocious roar from the White House press corps.

“As Donald Trump said, Joe Biden is the moral authority for this country. Has he acted like it? No. He’s led from behind,” McEnany concluded. “The former president has been the moral authority on this issue, not the current one.”

A subset of 2020 voters who said they were tired of Joe Biden “gaslighting” them on the economy and other topics last month said they would support former President Donald Trump this year.

One person, simply known as “Omar,” took part in a focus group of “undecideds” who met earlier this week to discuss the 2024 election and the variables impacting their choices to vote, according to The Daily Wire. He appeared to share the group’s views on Biden, particularly with relation to the status of the economy.

They were asked to contrast the state of the economy under Joe Biden’s administration with that of Donald Trump during the discussion. Interestingly, every single one of them said that they felt like they had it better under Trump.

The next question posed to the focus group was, “Are you pretty much decided that Trump’s policies would be better for the economy, or is there anything Joe Biden could do or say between now and the time you vote that would make you feel differently about feeling that his policies would not be as good for your family on the economy?”

First to speak, one of the women expressed her opinion that Biden didn’t seem to be taking the time to really address the economy.

“I feel like he doesn’t even take accountability for what’s — at all, with what’s going on. And not even accountability, like he’s in denial that it’s happening!” she said.

Trump Gets Monumental News from Unlikely Source:

In 2024, the American Jewish community is seeing a startling change within the intensifying political climate. The Republican Jewish Coalition (RJC) has started an extraordinary fundraising campaign in response to the growing unhappiness with President Joe Biden’s handling of Israeli issues and the intensifying protests on college campuses.

With a $5 million baseline goal, the project is the greatest in the RJC’s history and, according to Fox News, will greatly strengthen former President Donald Trump’s presidential campaign. The RJC is a well-known grassroots group that serves as the national voice for Jewish Republicans. The promise was emphasized by the organization’s national political director, Sam Markstein, who said that the campaign will be “the RJC’s largest effort ever to mobilize support in the Jewish community for President Trump.”

In addition to the $15 million independent expenditure, there is a fundraising campaign. The decision was made in the midst of weeks of widespread college campus protests that were brought on by Israel’s continuing war with Hamas in Gaza. In addition to attracting media attention, these protests have brought attention to the growing rift within the Democratic Party.

Republicans continue to be mainly united in their opposition to these demonstrations, while many Democrats are divided in their support. According to a recent Fox News poll, only 15% of Republicans supported the protests, while 80% of Republicans were against them. By contrast, 41% of Democrats polled were against the protests, while 50% supported them.

There is a noticeable lack of pleasure among the Jewish community. The Democratic Party’s tolerance for anti-Semitic remarks and its approach to the Israel-Hamas conflict are making a lot of American Jews feel uneasy. In 2020, the Pew Research Center conducted a thorough poll of Jewish Americans and discovered that although a sizable majority of them still identify as Democrats, the Orthodox Jewish community is shifting more and more in favor of the Republican Party. 75% of Orthodox Jews who responded to the study said they were Republicans or leaning Republican, a considerable rise from previous years.

The change reflects generational and ideological divisions within the Jewish community and is not just a political oddity. Younger Jewish adults are more likely to identify as secular or Orthodox, with the latter group having less of a sense of a bond with traditional Jewish social life and religious rituals. Notwithstanding these distinctions, both parties are concerned about the rise in anti-Semitism. According to the Pew survey, just over half of Jewish Americans feel less safe and 75% of them think there is more anti-Semitism in the country now than there was 5 years ago.

Trump is endorsed by the RJC because they consider him to be “the most pro-Israel president in U.S. history.” The RJC stressed in their statement how crucial it is to have a “trusted friend” in these dangerous times, particularly in light of the rise in anti-Semitic crimes and unfriendly college conditions. Trump has been a steadfast supporter of Israel, and pro-Israel activists in the Jewish community have found great resonance with his ideas.

The RJC’s efforts to raise money could have a big influence on the next election, possibly influencing Jewish voters who have always sided with the Democratic Party. Markstein stated, “The Jewish community is more motivated than ever to move past Joe Biden’s mistakes, broken promises, and betrayals as antisemitism soars to record highs and America’s relationship with our ally Israel continues to reach new lows.”

Trump’s campaign looks to benefit greatly from the unexpected but vital support as the 2024 race draws near.

Common Laxatives Linked to Behavioral Issues and Worse in Children, Experts Warn | The Epoch Times:

When children suffer from constipation, many parents turn to over-the-counter laxatives like MiraLAX for relief. Pediatricians often recommend them. But some families are raising concerns about safety and sharing alarming accounts of apparent side effects in their kids. An ongoing study is looking into the safety of the popular medication in response to reports that a number of children developed “neuropsychiatric problems” after taking MiraLAX.

The researchers from The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP) are looking specifically at polyethylene glycol 3350, or PEG 3350, the active ingredient in MiraLAX and similar generic products. Medications containing PEG 3350 are not labeled for use in anyone under 17, but MiraLAX is often recommended off-label by pediatricians to treat chronic constipation in kids — sometimes for extended periods of time, even though the label advises “use no more than 7 days.”

While the FDA awarded a grant to CHOP to investigate the possible side effects in 2014, the story is once again making headlines after a report from a local Philadelphia news station voicing parents’ concerns. Families told WPVI-TV that after taking MiraLAX their children experienced mood and behavioral changes, including depression, anger, anxiety, and mood swings.

“We saw a lot of the anger, a lot of the rage, a lot of the aggression,” parent Mike Kohler told the station. Jeanie Ward told the station her daughter Nicole exhibited “near psychiatric events with paranoia, mood swings, aggression, rage.” “It was horrifying to see my daughter change like that and to not come completely go back to normal,” Ward said.

A private Facebook page called Parents Against MiraLAX currently has over 16,000 members. “We are a group of parents and family members who are very suspicious of PEG 3350 and are here to discuss its effects on our children,” the group states. “We discuss alternative options and ways to talk to doctors about our opposition to this very dangerous drug.”

How great a concern are such claims, and is there proof that MiraLAX is the cause of the problems? Pediatric neurologist Dr. Jonathan Mink, MD, says that while the jury is still out, there are other likely scenarios that might explain the issues these parents reported. “I see an awful lot of children who have neurobehavioral syndromes like Tourette syndromeattention deficit hyperactivity disorderautism, and anxiety and constipation is a common problem in those children,” he told CBS News.

Though the exact connection is unclear, the nature of these disorders likely has something to do with it, as nerve cells and muscles also control bowel function, explained Mink, who serves on the executive committee of the American Academy of Pediatrics’ Section on Neurology and is president of the Child Neurology Society. That raises the possibility that problems the parents observed may have been due to an underlying condition rather than the medication itself.

“The question is, then, is this a coincidence?” Mink said. “Could this be an association where there’s no cause-and-effect relationship?” In 2014, the FDA reported 167 adverse side effects in children who had taken MiraLAX, 37 of which included neurological or psychiatric responses. But after reviewing these cases, the agency said there was not enough evidence to change or add any additional warnings to the drug’s label.

“To date, the agency’s reviews of adverse event reports and medical literature indicate that the approved labeling for PEG 3350 products accurately conveys their risks, and additional warnings regarding neuropsychiatric issues in children are not warranted at this time,” the FDA said in a statement. “However, because many parents and physicians rely on these products to treat serious constipation, we have decided to fund research to better determine the benefits and risks associated with the use of these products in children.”

Mink says he believes the study will eventually help provide more concrete answers. “I think it’s important that the study is going on to look into this because the concern has been raised,” he said. However, for children with chronic constipation for which alternative treatments have not worked, Mink says he believes MiraLAX is likely safe to use.

“It’s generally my recommendation to treat symptoms that are causing problems and not symptoms that are not causing problems,” he said. “My personal professional opinion is that I don’t think it’s likely that MiraLAX is causing these symptoms.” He notes that although MiraLAX isn’t approved by the FDA for use in children, it doesn’t mean it is not safe.

“For pediatricians and pediatric sub-specialists, there are many treatments that we offer to children who have very serious symptoms that have not been approved by the FDA for use in children. And that’s not because they’re not necessarily safe for use in children, it’s because the studies have not been done in a way that has led to FDA approval,” he said. CHOP issued the following statement in response to WPVI-TV’s report:

“Researchers at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia are conducting a study commissioned by the Food and Drug Administration on laxative-use by children. We cannot comment on studies that are incomplete, nor can we comment on a particular child’s circumstances. We will submit our findings to the FDA upon completion of the study.”

CBS News reached out to Bayer, the manufacturer of MiraLAX, which issued the following statement: “MiraLAX is a safe and effective osmotic laxative that relieves occasional constipation. It is approved and labeled for use in adults and children 17 years and older for up to 7 days, unless otherwise directed by a doctor.”

The company continues: “While MiraLAX is not labeled for use in the pediatric population, there have been many clinical studies conducted with PEG 3350 in pediatric populations which have demonstrated safety for short and long term use in children with a history of chronic constipation. As part of Bayer’s ongoing commitment to consumer well-being, we regularly track, analyze and report all adverse event data related to the use of the product. Results of this ongoing monitoring support the continued safe use of MiraLAX.”

RINO Mitt Romney double crosses Biden in a shocking betrayal:

Romney hitched his wagon to Biden long ago. But now he’s delivering an unexpected wake-up call.

And now RINO Mitt Romney double crossed Biden in a shocking betrayal.

Sen. Mitt Romney, R-Utah, said Wednesday that President Biden made a tactical error by not pardoning former President Donald Trump. “He should have fought like crazy to keep this prosecution from going forward,” Romney said to MSNBC anchor Stephanie Ruhle.

“It was a win-win for Donald Trump.”

While the President of the United States can only pardon in federal cases, Romney claimed that Biden “made an enormous error” in neither pardoning his predecessor or forcing New York prosecutors to drop their hush money investigation against Trump.

Romney claimed Biden squandered an opportunity to unite the country behind him.

“You may disagree with this, but had I been President Biden, when the Justice Department brought on indictments, I would have immediately pardoned him,” he stated. “I’d have pardoned President Trump. Why? Well, because it makes me, President Biden, the big guy and the person I pardoned a little guy.” Obviously, Romney missed the irony of calling Biden the “big guy” with allegations swirling that Joe benefitted from bribes sent through his son, Hunter.

Romney contended that there was a political precedent for such a move during Lyndon B. Johnson’s presidency.

“I have been around for a while. If LBJ had been president, and he didn’t want something like this to happen, he’d have been all over that prosecutor saying, ‘You better not bring that forward, or I’m gonna drive you out of office,’” Romney argued.

Allies of former President Trump have criticized the continuing NY v. Trump trial as a “sham” orchestrated by Democrats ahead of the 2024 election. Romney described the behavior of his fellow Republicans as an “enormous mistake.” “I think it’s a terrible fault for our country to see people attacking our legal system — that’s an enormous mistake,” Romney remarked when asked about the political show.

“I think it’s also demeaning for people to quite apparently try and run for vice president by donning a red tie and standing outside the courthouse. It’s just — I’d have felt awkward.” Romney likes to pontificate from his high horse, as if he’s never done anything demeaning. Did you forget about when he offered a $10,000 bet live on TV? We didn’t.

How out of touch and demeaning to the average working class American can you get? Maybe he should fade away into obscurity instead of lecturing others about decency.

Immigrant Kids:

Sex offenders convicted of a range of crimes from child rape to possession of child pornography were housed or working in five hotels that are used to house illegal immigrants and their families, including children.

How can we as a Society allow this to happen?

Parody Video Gone:

Trump on Friday posted to Truth Social a parody music video of Tom Petty’s hit song “Free Falling” mocking Biden’s many gaffes.

Allies of Joe Biden appear to be attempting to scrub a viral parody music video highlighting Jee Biden’s cognitive decline.

Parody video of Tom Petty's hit song "Free Falling" has been removed across X platform with disclaimer that reads, “This media has been disabled in response to a report by the copyright owner.”

Big Tech overlords are censoring across the internet the parody video exposing Biden in bid to interfere in 2024 election, but parody videos fall under fair use exception.

Former Democratic Spokesperson Jake Tapper To Moderate Upcoming Presidential Debate

The first presidential debate between President Joe Biden and Donald Trump is slated for June 27, moderated by CNN's Jake Tapper and Dana Bash in Atlanta.

The Washington Free Beacon reported that as the 2024 presidential race heats up, the upcoming debate between the current president, Joe Biden, and former president, Donald Trump, is drawing significant attention.

The event is scheduled to take place in Atlanta, marking a pivotal moment in this election cycle. CNN journalists Jake Tapper and Dana Bash, known for their extensive careers in journalism, will moderate the debate.

Jake Tapper, one of the moderators, has a history of connections within the Democratic Party, which might draw scrutiny from various quarters. Prior to joining CNN, Tapper dated Monica Lewinsky and subsequently shared insights from his experiences, particularly around the period of her notoriety due to her involvement with former President Bill Clinton.

Exploring Jake Tapper's Democratic Connections

Tapper's career before journalism included a stint as a spokesman for Marjorie Margolies-Mezvinsky, a Democratic congresswoman. His political affiliations are further highlighted by his attendance at notable Democratic events, such as the wedding of Marc Mezvinsky and Chelsea Clinton, which was also attended by Hillary Clinton.

His associations extend into the social sphere where he has been seen with celebrities like Dave Matthews and journalist Stephen Gutowski. Notably, Tapper was also present at a dinner party celebrating a Supreme Court decision on affirmative action, mingling with various celebrities.

In recognition of his journalistic endeavors, Tapper was named Man of the Year by the Washington Free Beacon in 2020, underscoring his influence and recognition in the media sphere.

Co-moderator Dana Bash also brings her own connections to the Democratic Party, through her former marriage to Jeremy Bash, a Democratic operative and pundit on MSNBC. Jeremy Bash has had roles within the Obama administration, aligning him closely with Democratic political circles.

Dana Bash's role as a CNN journalist and her previous marriage to a figure active in Democratic politics provide layers of context to her moderating position at the upcoming debate. Her professional background and personal connections are likely to be of interest as the debate approaches.

Both moderators' backgrounds are seen as relevant given the current polarized political climate, where the impartiality of debate moderators can be pivotal in framing the discussions of the candidates' policies and positions.

The Implications of Moderator Backgrounds in Election Debates

The selection of moderators with political connections can influence public perception and the overall tone of the debate. This is particularly significant in an era where the impartiality of the media is often questioned by both political entities and the general public.

The backgrounds of Jake Tapper and Dana Bash, coupled with their professional accomplishments, make them noteworthy choices for moderating such a high-profile event. Their roles are likely to be scrutinized as they navigate the complex dynamics of moderating a debate between two major political figures.

As the debate date approaches, the preparation by both moderators and candidates is intensifying, underscoring the importance of this event as a decisive moment in the presidential race.

The upcoming presidential debate in Atlanta not only sets the stage for an engaging political discourse but also highlights the intricate relationships between media figures and political entities. As moderators, Tapper and Bash will need to balance their journalistic responsibilities with their personal histories within the Democratic sphere.

Given their backgrounds and the heightened stakes of the presidential race, their moderation will be pivotal in shaping the discourse and potentially the outcome of the election. Their handling of the debate will likely be a focal point for both media critique and political analysis post-debate.

As the political landscape continues to evolve, the role of the media and its figures remains critically intertwined with the mechanisms of democracy, particularly in the context of such significant electoral events.

Concluding Thoughts on Upcoming Presidential Debate Moderation

In conclusion, the upcoming presidential debate between Joe Biden and Donald Trump, moderated by Jake Tapper and Dana Bash, encapsulates more than just political rivalry; it represents the complex interplay between media and politics. Their connections to the Democratic Party and notable public figures add layers of intrigue and potential bias, which are critical to understanding the broader narrative of American political discourse.
