Holy YHWH, how great and glorious are your ways above all things. You are the author and the finisher of all life and so mankind’s desire to control life is nothing but a puff of wind. You laid out the journey this planet would take. You have preordained the beginning and the end and you put it all together so that you could give us the right to choose to love you.
What do you want with our love—frail and pathetic as it is? Yet, you desire it all the same. Thank you that you are able to take that love and reshape it so it becomes a pure and beautiful offering on the altar before your throne. Thank you that you take the stench of our sin corrupted hearts and you cleanse them and make them into a sweet fragrance.
How good you are. Even now, as mankind prepares to welcome the man of lawlessness, you wait and you long for each soul to turn to you. Even now, as many shake fists at you and rail against your name as though you take pleasure in their suffering, you weep for them and call to them to return to you. We continue to come before you and beg for your hand to move in our world. We ask you not to change the destination of your will but to give us strength as mankind deliberately chooses their own path.
We ask you to cover us against those who search out your people with intent to destroy. We ask you to bring people to us who eagerly desire to know your truth but can’t find it in the offerings of this world.
We ask you to open our mouths in the right times and shut them when words are useless.
We ask you to give us the power to live lives of truth and righteousness so the wicked can’t mock your name because of us. Change us Father so that we don’t cower under the oppression of world leaders but make us rejoice that you have given us the right to see what so many desired to see.
Your return is so close and so we ask you to make a way for all those who are lost to be found. Use us as instruments of your glory. We worship you in Y’shua’s name and through the power of the Holy Spirit.
