The Creation of Mankind

The Lord, the Creator of all things, is ever existent.  He has always existed and He always will exist.  The description of Melchizedek in Hebrews could also describe our God.

“Without father, without mother, without descent, having neither beginning of days, nor end of life.” – Hebrews 7:3

 

The Lord, who has always existed, lives in the Spiritual realm.  He created spiritual beings to help Him in His kingdom.  We know these beings as angels.  There is organization within the untold number of angels.  There is a hierarchy, some angels have higher rank than others.  They are all servants of the Most High God.

 

Ezekiel chapter twenty-eight gives us a rare glimpse of the Spiritual realm.  It describes a created being that was the epitome of wisdom and beauty (verse 12).  He was also a member of an exclusive group of angels, the guardian cherubs (verse 14), and walked in the Heavenly Garden of Eden (verse 13).  Sadly, this most beautiful of the Lord’s angels became proud because of his beauty (verse 17), and rebelled against God.  We know this created being as Satan, the accuser.

 

I am not aware of any Scripture that indicates that there was a physical realm at this time.  All of this occurred in the Spiritual realm.  In the process of rebellion, one-third of the angels followed Satan (Revelation 12:4).  The Lord lost a large portion of His Heavenly servants.  The rebellion of one-third of the angels tells us that there is freedom of choice in the Spiritual realm, just as there is here in the physical realm. 

 

The Lord then did something unexpected.  He created the physical realm, and populated it with physical servants, mankind.  I believe that the purpose of this was to replace the “fallen” angels who followed Satan. 

 

Some have estimated that there have been over one-hundred billion persons born on earth.  Some are/were obedient Hebrews.  Many are/were Christians saved by faith in the Lord Jesus.  If the estimates of thirty to forty percent child mortality are even close, that would indicate billions of just innocent children in Heaven. 

 

How many other souls that our gracious Heavenly Father has listed in His Book of Life is unknown.  What we can surmise is that there will be billions of souls in Heaven, ready to worship God and willing to serve Him.  It is possible that the Lord has created more than enough human servants to replace the spiritual servants lost to Satan.

 

There is conflict in Heaven (Daniel 10:13).  The Lord maintains a two to one advantage in the Spiritual realm over Satan.  Perhaps this is why the Lord Jesus told us that the Holy Spirit could not come to earth until He, the Lord Jesus, returned to Heaven (John 16:7). 

 

The Lord God is the Victor!  With the addition of myriads more servants who love Him, the servants lost to rebellion will be replaced.  The Lord planned this from before the world was formed (II Timothy 1:9).  His ways are so much higher than our ways (Isaiah 55:9).  He is the Most High God.  May we serve Him always, and may His name be praised forever!

What really happened in Edgewood, British Columbia?

On November 6, 2025, hundreds of ostriches were shot and killed on a rural Canadian farm by order of the Canadian Food Inspection Agency, in the name of protecting the public from avian flu.


Except..

They were not food.
They were never tested.
They were, according to their farmers, beacons of hope whose antibody-rich eggs held the scientific potential to prevent future mass culls in the farming industry.

So, who was right? The farmers or the state? Did Canada lose far more than birds on the night of the cull?

TRUMP: 

Ambassador who introduced Donald and Melania Trump says he will testify under oath before Congress

Ambassador Paolo Zampolli, the Italian-American diplomat who claims credit for introducing Donald Trump to Melania Trump more than a quarter-century ago, said Thursday he is prepared to testify before Congress and bring as many as 50 witnesses to confirm his account of how the couple met.


The offer comes on the heels of First Lady Melania Trump's pointed White House statement addressing Jeffrey Epstein and denying long-circulating rumors that the convicted sex offender played any role in her introduction to the president. In a phone interview with the Daily Mail, Zampolli made clear he wants the record set straight, under oath if necessary.


The episode lays bare a pattern that conservative readers will recognize: a smear built on innuendo, kept alive by media repetition, and aimed squarely at the First Family. Zampolli's willingness to testify is a direct challenge to anyone still peddling the Epstein-introduction fiction.


The Kit Kat Club, September 1998

Zampolli's account is specific. He says he introduced Donald Trump and Melania Trump at a New York Fashion Week party at the Kit Kat Club in September 1998. At the time, Zampolli was a modeling agent, not yet the diplomat he would later become as Trump's Special Envoy for Global Partnership.


In the Daily Mail interview, Zampolli did not hedge.

"I'm ready to testify in Congress, in front of Congress, to say who introduced the First Lady, and I'm ready to even bring another 50 witnesses to say they were present that night."


He added bluntly: "The whole world knows this. This is old news."

For anyone paying attention, it is old news. The Kit Kat Club introduction has been part of the public record for years. But that has not stopped outlets from floating the alternative theory, that Epstein somehow brokered the meeting, without evidence sufficient to support the claim.


Melania Trump's White House statement

The First Lady's office sent a press release to the media on Wednesday announcing she planned to make remarks, though it gave no hint of the subject. On Thursday, Melania Trump delivered a statement from the White House addressing the Epstein matter directly. She denied being "friends" with Epstein and said she was not a "victim" of him. She took no questions from reporters afterward.


President Trump himself told MSNOW he did not "know anything about" the First Lady's plans to address the subject, a detail that suggests she acted on her own initiative.

Marc Beckman, a senior adviser to the First Lady, explained the motivation in plain terms. He told the Daily Mail that "enough is enough" and "the lies must stop." That framing, a family tired of baseless insinuation, fits the facts far better than any conspiracy theory about Epstein matchmaking.


Zampolli's own Epstein connections

Zampolli did not pretend he had no contact with Epstein. He acknowledged it openly, noting that his name appears in the Epstein files. "I'm in the files, you know?" he told the Daily Mail. The New York Times confirmed Zampolli's name appeared in the files and reported that Epstein had at one point discussed buying a modeling agency with him.

A 2011 email attributed to Epstein struck a hostile tone toward Zampolli: "Be careful, [Zampolli] is trouble. Lots. He sells stories to the press."


Zampolli characterized the Trump-Epstein relationship as casual and unremarkable for the era. "They met randomly, they met socially, everybody knew Epstein," he said. That statement tracks with what has been publicly known for years: Epstein moved in elite New York social circles, and crossing paths with him at events did not make someone complicit in his crimes.


The broader Trump family has navigated persistent attempts to tie them to Epstein through guilt by association. Melania Trump has repeatedly pushed back on high-profile claims made about her, and this latest statement fits that pattern.


The Amanda Ungaro story

The Daily Mail interview also addressed a separate thread involving Amanda Ungaro, a Brazilian model and Zampolli's ex-girlfriend. The New York Times reported allegations that Ungaro had been deported, and Zampolli denied using his connections to the Trump administration to make that happen.


"At no time did I request any favors from my colleagues," Zampolli said. He stated that his inquiries were "solely aimed at understanding the situation" and that any advice he sought was "strictly in relation to my son's safety."


Ungaro herself has spoken to Brazilian outlet O Globo about flying on Epstein's private jet in 2002, when she was 17 years old. She described the experience as unsettling.

"All I wanted was to get off that plane. I knew something was wrong, I just didn't know what. At the time, it never crossed my mind that it could involve abuse."

Notably, Ungaro has not suggested that Epstein shared a close relationship with the Trumps. That distinction matters. Her account is about Epstein's predatory behavior, not about the First Family.


Zampolli dismissed suggestions that his personal history with Ungaro motivated the First Lady's statement. "There's no way. This is the First Lady of the United States. Do you think she cares about my ex?" he said.


Why Zampolli says Melania spoke out

Zampolli offered his own read on the First Lady's motivations, and it had nothing to do with personal drama or political calculation. He pointed to the victims.

"I'm sure she cares about the victims and everybody that has been a victim has a right to expose this animal."


He went further: "I honestly think, deep in her heart, she cares about the victims." He also noted plainly, "I know she's not a victim. We know that."

The ambassador spoke warmly of the First Lady. "I think the First Lady has the biggest heart in the world, she's a family woman, and she's our marvelous First Lady," he said.


Those are the words of a longtime family friend, not someone trying to distance himself.

The First Lady's willingness to speak publicly, her growing comfort using her platform on her own terms, represents a shift from her typically reserved public posture. That she chose this subject, and chose to address it without advance notice to the president, says something about how seriously she takes the smear.


Capitol Hill and the Bondi deposition

The Epstein saga continues to generate friction on Capitol Hill. An ongoing battle persists over whether former Attorney General Pam Bondi must sit for an Epstein-related deposition. The specifics of that dispute remain unclear, but the political stakes are obvious: Democrats have used the Epstein files as a weapon against anyone in Trump's orbit, regardless of whether the facts support the insinuation.


Zampolli's offer to testify under oath raises the bar. It is one thing to float rumors in newspaper columns and cable news segments. It is another to face a witness who says he was there, saw it happen, and can name 50 people who saw it too.

The Trump family has endured extraordinary public scrutiny of its private life, and the Epstein association has been among the most persistent and least substantiated lines of attack. Every member of the family has had to respond to it in one form or another.


What remains unanswered

Several questions remain open. The exact wording of Melania Trump's White House statement has not been fully reported. No specific congressional committee or forum has been identified for Zampolli's potential testimony. And the details of the Bondi deposition fight remain murky.


But the central factual question, who introduced Donald Trump to Melania Trump, has a man willing to answer it under penalty of perjury. That should count for something in a media environment where anonymous sourcing and suggestive framing have replaced verified fact.

When a witness steps forward and says "put me under oath," the people who built their narrative on whispers have a problem. And they should.

Zohran Mamdani's first 100 days: a trail of broken promises from housing to homelessness

New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani swept into office on a wave of progressive promises, city-owned grocery stores, a billion-dollar public safety overhaul, an end to homeless encampment sweeps, fully funded libraries, smaller classrooms. One hundred days in, the record shows something very different: reversals, downgrades, quiet retreats, and a budget that contradicts nearly every major pledge he made to voters.


The gap between Candidate Mamdani and Mayor Mamdani is not a matter of spin. It is a matter of dollars, staffing levels, policy documents, and his own public statements, measured against what he actually did once the campaign signs came down.


A detailed accounting by the New York Post lays out the specifics. And they are damning, not because political compromise is unusual, but because Mamdani built his entire candidacy on the claim that he would be different from the transactional politicians he ran against.


The grocery store mirage

On the campaign trail, the former Queens state assemblyman promised five city-owned grocery stores, one in each borough, to combat food deserts. It was a signature plank, the kind of tangible pledge that sounds good on a flyer.


In office, Mamdani proposed $70 million in new funding for the city's Economic Development Corporation to scout potential locations and build those stores. But the stores remain a concept, not a construction project. The proposal has stalled behind what one observer described as "outside forces who won't play along."

Promising government-run supermarkets was always a dubious idea. That it collapsed this fast tells you something about how seriously the plan was vetted before it became a talking point.


A $1.1 billion department becomes a two-person office

Perhaps no single promise captures the distance between rhetoric and reality more sharply than Mamdani's public safety plan. As a candidate, he called for a new Department of Community Safety with a $1.1 billion price tag. Social workers, not NYPD officers, would respond to non-violent 911 calls. It was the progressive dream, reimagined policing, backed by real money.


What New Yorkers got instead: a "Mayor's Office of Community Safety" with just two staffers and a $260 million budget. That is a 76 percent funding cut from the campaign promise and a department downgraded to an office. Two people. For a city of more than eight million.


The Strategic Response Group survives

Mamdani entered the 2024 mayoral race vowing to disband the NYPD's Strategic Response Group, the unit tasked with responding to protests. He repeated that pledge throughout the campaign. The SRG became a symbol of the kind of heavy-handed policing he said he would end.

The unit is still in place.


This week, Mamdani told the New York Times that disbanding the SRG was part of an "active conversation" with NYPD Commissioner Jessica Tisch. He said he would overrule Tisch if necessary. But the unit remains operational, and the mayor's own language has shifted from a firm commitment to a negotiation.


Mamdani stated he remains "steadfast in my commitment to disband the SRG, to do so in a manner that upholds both First Amendment rights of New Yorkers and keeps New Yorkers safe." Steadfast commitments that produce no action after 100 days are not commitments. They are press releases.


The gang database walkback

The NYPD's gang database was another target during the campaign. Mamdani signaled he would push to reform or eliminate it. Last week, he stood silent as Commissioner Tisch told reporters that police officers use the database "every day."


By Monday, Mamdani offered a careful retreat. He said he had made his "critiques of the database clear" and claimed the NYPD was in the process of making reforms. He did not specify what those reforms were. The database remains active. The critique remains vague.


Standing next to the police commissioner while she defends the very tool you promised to dismantle, and saying nothing, is not reform. It is capitulation dressed up as process.


Homeless encampments: a reversal measured in lives

Soon after winning the 2025 mayoral election, Mamdani vowed to end his predecessor Eric Adams' practice of clearing homeless encampments. It was a marquee promise to the progressive coalition that elected him.

Then back-to-back winter storms hit the city. At least 29 people died, most of them outdoors.


Mamdani reversed course. He instructed city workers to return to homeless encampments for seven days in a row and try to convince people to move off the streets before tearing down makeshift living structures. The no-sweeps pledge lasted roughly two months.


The deaths were a tragedy. And the policy reversal may have been the right call on humanitarian grounds. But the original promise was reckless, made to win votes from activists without accounting for the reality that people living on the streets in a northern winter face mortal danger. Twenty-nine people paid the price for that timeline.


CityFHEPS: from champion to appellant

Housing vouchers through the CityFHEPS program became a flashpoint under Adams, who fought expanding the program. City Council progressives and housing advocates were infuriated. One advocate called Mamdani's handling of the issue a "betrayal."

Rather than expanding the program as his base expected, Mamdani formally filed an appeal to keep an anti-CityFHEPS lawsuit alive. The legal maneuvering placed him on the same side of the courtroom where Adams had stood, a position that would have been unthinkable during the campaign.


Class size and library funding: quiet retreats

In 2022, Mamdani voted for the state's class size law as a state assemblyman, requiring New York City public school classrooms to shrink. Late in his mayoral campaign, he renewed his support for the mandate.


Once in office and facing a massive budget shortfall, he started to quietly push for the class size mandate to be relaxed. A key state lawmaker, identified as Sen. John Liu, backed the effort. The law Mamdani voted for and campaigned on became, in his own administration, an obstacle to be negotiated away.


Libraries fared no better. As a candidate, Mamdani promised to commit 0.5 percent of the city budget to libraries. His preliminary budget allocated 0.39 percent, and slashed library funding by $30 million. Librarians with the NYC Public Library Action Network did not mince words.

They said plainly: "Mayor Mamdani has broken his promise."


The honeymoon is over

Ryan Adams, a managing director at the consulting firm Actum, offered a blunt summary of the mayor's first 100 days:

"The honeymoon is over for Mamdani. But I don't think the marriage has soured with New York."


Adams catalogued the damage in specific terms: Mamdani "reversed his no-sweeps pledge within two months, triggered an uproar over CityFHEPS from advocates for the homeless and unhoused, walked back his approach to the gang database, and his signature affordability agenda, city-owned supermarkets, free buses, a rent freeze, is stalled behind outside forces who won't play along."


His conclusion cut to the core of the problem:

"The campaign was a movement. The administration is a negotiation. That's a hard landing."


It is a hard landing. And the people absorbing the impact are not the consultants, the activists, or the political class. They are the New Yorkers who believed the promises, the families in food deserts still waiting for a grocery store, the homeless residents caught between sweeps and storms, the librarians watching their budgets shrink, the parents told classrooms would get smaller.


The pattern progressives refuse to see

None of this should surprise anyone who has watched progressive governance collide with municipal reality in city after city. The promises are always grand. The math never works. The retreats are always "pragmatic." And the people who were supposed to benefit are always the last to be told the plan changed.


Mamdani campaigned as a movement candidate. He governed, from day one, as a politician making the same compromises he denounced in his opponents, except he made them faster, with less transparency, and after making far bigger promises.

A $1.1 billion department becomes a two-person office. A no-sweeps pledge lasts two months. Library funding drops below the promised floor. The gang database stays. The protest-response unit stays. The grocery stores exist only on paper.


Movements are built on trust. Governing requires honesty about what is possible. Mamdani offered neither, and 100 days was all it took to prove it.
