Why aren’t journalists covering Ivermectin?

💥 Michael Capuzzo, a New York Times best-selling author , has just published an article titled “The Drug That Cracked Covid”. The 15-page article chronicles the gargantuan struggle being waged by frontline doctors on all continents to get ivermectin approved as a Covid-19 treatment, as well as the tireless efforts by reporters, media outlets and social media companies to thwart them.

Because of ivermectin, Capuzzo says, there are “hundreds of thousands, actually millions, of people around the world, from Uttar Pradesh in India to Peru to Brazil, who are living and not dying.” Yet media outlets have done all they can to “debunk” the notion that ivermectin may serve as an effective, easily accessible and affordable treatment for Covid-19. They have parroted the arguments laid out by health regulators around the world that there just isn’t enough evidence to justify its use. …[NOT TRUE!]

I really wish the world could see both sides,” Capuzzo laments. But unfortunately, most reporters are not interested in telling the other side of the story. Even if they were, their publishers would probably refuse to publish it.

💥 I agree with the above opinion. Compare what happened to 2018 when a 20-year-old Muslim mowed down a street full of people outside a church on the Danforth in Toronto. No vigil. No political involvement. Religion not revealed. They even misspelled the perp's last name to hide the fact he was Muslim.

When similar incidents occur in other countries (like, no affiliation with a terrorist group), the courts wait to determine if mental illness was a factor. Not here. Not now.


Further investigation indicates the Hyde Park murderer probably is mentally ill.


I confess I am alarmed at how we allow politicians and media to act as judge and jury pronouncing verdicts before trial. It's aslippery slope. This case seems to be open and shut, but it sets an important precedent if we accept that a person is guilty until proven innocent.


I am also betting that Trudeau will use this to push "forward" his bill to censor bloggers and social media, even though there is noevidence at this time that the Hyde Park murder posted hate messages.





Supreme Court rules against illegal immigration:

That’s because according to The Hill, a U.S. Supreme Court ruling was handed down on Monday that ruled against the prospect of giving green cards to illegal immigrants who were allowed to reside in the United States for humanitarian reasons — a decision that will also undoubtedly upset a number of Democratic politicians and immigration advocacy groups.

Monday’s unanimous high court ruling affects thousands of illegal immigrants protected under a government-issued Temporary Protective Status, or TPS — which are people who have unlawfully entered the United States but were granted special protection for humanitarian reasons.

Canada is prepared to take in some Central American migrants to help the United States, which is grappling with an influx of migrants at its southern border with Mexico, Canadian Immigration Minister Marco Mendicino said.

In their first phone call since President Joe Biden's administration was sworn in, Mendicino and U.S. Secretary of Homeland Security Alejandro Mayorkas last week discussed issues including Central American migration - an area where the Biden administration is struggling to gain control.

Canada wants to help, Mendicino told Reuters in an interview late Tuesday.

"I certainly think that we have the capacity within our existing levels plan to accommodate more refugees," he said.

Canada aims to resettle36,000 refugees for 2021.

After India finally gets somewhat of a grip on its deadly second wave, one of its health regulators just took away one of its main lines of defense.

India’s Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) has executed a policy reversal that could have massive implications for the battle against covid-19, not only in India but around the world.

Hundreds of thousands, if not millions of lives, could be at stake. The health regulator has overhauled its COVID-19 treatment guidelines and removed almost all of the repurposed medicines it had previously recommended for treating asymptomatic and mild cases. They include the antibiotic doxycycline, hydroxychloroquine, zinc, ivermectin and even multivitamins. The only medicines that are still recommended for early treatment are cold medicines, antipyretics such as paracetamol and inhaled budesonide.

“No other covid-specific medication [is] required,” say the new guidelines, which also discourage practitioners from prescribing unnecessary tests such as CT scans.

The Indian Bar Association has taken legal action against the World Health Organization’s (WHO) Chief Scientist Dr. Soumya Swaminathan for her alleged role in spreading disinformation on the use of ivermectin to treat COVID-19.

The association served a legal notice (pdf) on Swaminathan on May 25, claiming that she was “spreading disinformation and misguiding the people of India, in order to fulfill her agenda” and sought to prevent her from “causing further damage.”

They further say that Swaminathan, in her statements against the use of ivermectin, ignored research and clinical trials from two organizations - the Front Line COVID-19 Critical Care (FLCCC) Alliance and the British Ivermectin Recommendation Development (BIRD) - who have presented solid data showing ivermectin prevents and treats COVID-19.

“Dr. Soumya Swaminathan has ignored these studies/reports and has deliberately suppressed the data regarding effectiveness of the drug Ivermectin, with an intent to dissuade the people of India from using Ivermectin,” the plaintiff said in a statement (pdf).

In a May 10 tweet that has since been deleted after the notice was issued, Swaminathan wrote, “Safety and efficacy are important when using any drug for a new indication. WHO recommends against the use of ivermectin for COVID-19 except within clinical trials.”

Swaminathan made the Twitter post soon after Goa’s health minister announced that every Goa resident 18 and older would be given ivermectin as prevention regardless of their COVID-19 status, as part of the state government’s effort to stop the transmission of the virus. India has been hit hard in the second wave of the CCP (Chinese Communist Party) virus pandemic beginning in March 2021.

As much as we have attempted to sound the alarm and save the lives of both Democrats and Republicans (and everyone else) across America, recent polls and surveys reveal that about 95% of Democrats have either already taken the covid vaccine or plan to. There are other counseling services available to military members. Regardless of faith, gender, or sexual orientation, individuals can seek out mental health counselors to ensure they are getting the services that are needed.

This is about to change. The military is being directed by a liberal administration. Job titles are about to change. Responsibilities are about to change.
