Verse(s) for today:

The voice of him that crieth in the wilderness, Prepare ye the way of the LORD, make straight in the desert a highway for our God.

Isaiah 40:3 KJV

And now abideth faith, hope, charity, these three; but the greatest of these is charity.

1 Corinthians 13:13 KJV

The LORD taketh pleasure in them that fear him, In those that hope in his mercy.

Psalm 147:11 KJV

Something to THINK ABOUT:THE CHAOS OF DIVISION

In spite of many languages and histories, when Christianity was born there was one empire and one faith.  When that empire split in two, with separate capitols in Rome and Constantinople, so did the faith.  When those twin empires fell and split into many separate nations, so also the Roman and Orthodox Churches fell into many denominations and nation-state churches.

In the last half of the 20th Century, we once again had a powerful New World Order and a unifying Jesus Revolution that spread across countries like so many missionaries reaching out to the ends of the earth.  And since 2012 we're going back again to another big split, but not a geographical one this time, it's an ideological split. The world is polarized between top-down authority vs. bottom-up subsidiarity.  Financial globalists and political dictators jockey within their ranks for promotion at the top like so many competing mob gangs, and meanwhile conservatives and anarchists explore different ways to be free and independent.

It follows (does it not?) that we should see another "faith split", also non-geographical, a One World New Age Religion vs. a Born-Again Persecuted Church.  We should see the tares standing out from the wheat for the angels to gather.  Maybe Babylon will fall in one hour; maybe the Church will rise in a Rapture; but what matters to me at this point is that we are guided away from mistakes of the past as we progress towards predictions of the future. That means we don't splinter again by identifying ourselves with different philosophies of life, and instead we identify only with the Kingdom of God, something the Byzantine Empire did for a thousand years before the followers of Mohamed infiltrated, corrupted and conquered it.

I wrote in "No Other Flags" that God will have no other flags before him or above him, no city gods, no national allegiance.  That also means no personal, no denominational allegiance before him or above him (1 Cor. 1: 10-17).  Going forward let us talk only about being citizens of Heaven.  Let not our loyalties and priorities be divided between God and earthly organizations of any kind.  We can reinforce this by written agreements.  Any private club or mutual aid group we belong to should state within a PMA charter, within its rules, within its business practices, that our first obligations, our highest priorities, are described in holy scripture, in the bible.  Apart from this, history has proven we will be vulnerable in any political or survival group, any independent educational or economic group, no matter how noble.  That will be most dangerous when tribulation and trials become worse than at any time in history.

Consider what it was like when the local church was stronger than the government.

1. Tithes were more efficient than taxes in providing care that showed self-sacrificing love.

2. Tithes did not finance abortions, euthanasia, and school programs that undermine parental rights.

3. Tithes didn't come from gambling, liquor, cigarettes and activities that handicap governments with a  conflict of interest in making moral decisions.

Consider the Mennonites.

1. It's not enough to be a homesteader and exit the system to be free from emotional exhaustion.  Homesteading helps, but the core of your relief is in the mind being detached enough to relax for a day.  Mennonites do not work on Sundays.

2. It's not enough to love your neighbour.  Jesus said love your neighbour yes, AND love God his Father.  "Neighbour" is not enough.  And "neighbour" includes your enemy (Matthew 5: 43-45).  No other religion teaches this, and those who try it are fully released from pain and anger.  Mennonites do not believe in fighting war.

3. It's not enough to mobilize opposition by peaceful protest.  Yes, Ghandi pulled the rug out from under India's British masters and won independence.  But he died saying "It's a never ending source of anguish to my soul that I feel separated from the God I love so dearly."  Mennonites simply move to new territory and take their peace of mind with them.

IN CONCLUSION

We can try all sorts of plans to build back better or revive our faith, but in the end our only choice will be to find ourselves gathered with the tares or the wheat.  We either repeat the mistakes of the past by doing it "our way", or accept that there is only God's way as revealed in the bible which points to Jesus Christ, and that way is One Way, not the divisive way of the world.

***Legal Expert Says There Is No Evidence of Accounting Fraud in Trump Case

By [Victor Winston]

 updated on December 9, 2023

Key testimony from a respected accounting professor has challenged the fraud allegations against Trump, casting doubt on the case's foundation and potentially leading to charges being dropped.

The legal proceedings are scrutinizing accusations from New York Attorney General Letitia James.

James alleges that Trump, his company, and executives exaggerated the worth of assets in financial statements, affecting banks and insurers. Notable assets mentioned include Trump Tower and Mar-a-Lago.

Expert Witness Challenges Fraud Allegations

Eli Bartov, a professor from New York University and an expert witness, presented a contrary view in court. He testified, finding no evidence of accounting fraud or significant misstatements in Trump's financial records. Bartov's testimony suggests that the discrepancies could be mere errors rather than intentional deceit, describing the financial statements as transparent and detailed.

"My main finding is that there is no evidence whatsoever of any accounting fraud. [Trump's] financial statements were not materially misstated."

The judge, however, raised concerns about Bartov's understanding of how banks like Deutsche Bank utilized these statements. He pointed out that these institutions seemed to adjust Trump's reported net worth on their own. Nevertheless, Bartov argued that such financial statements serve as starting points for negotiations and that differing valuation opinions do not automatically imply fraudulent intent.

Trump's Increased Courtroom Presence

Throughout the trial, Trump has been an intermittent presence, but he increased his attendance during the defense's presentation, US News reported.

Observers noted his active involvement, as he frequently pointed out documents to his lawyers and displayed frustration over objections to Bartov's testimony.

Trump has repeatedly denounced the trial as baseless and politically motivated, calling it a "witch hunt" and a "disgrace." In contrast, the state's position is firm, accusing Trump of engaging in financial fraud over many years.

Allegations of Conspiracy and Insurance Fraud

The non-jury trial is airing serious allegations, including conspiracy, insurance fraud, and falsifying records. Notably, the judge has previously ruled that Trump engaged in fraud.

If found liable, Trump could face penalties exceeding $300 million and a ban on conducting business in New York.

During a heated exchange in the courtroom, Professor Bartov firmly defended his analysis. When questioned about his conclusions, he retorted to the inquiring party, expressing his commitment to truthfulness in his testimony.

"You should be ashamed of yourself, talking to me like that! I am here to tell the truth."

Meanwhile, Trump has been vocal during breaks, reiterating his stance that the case is an unfounded and politically motivated attack against him.

Closing Arguments and Potential Outcomes

As the trial moves towards its conclusion, the stakes are high. A ruling against Trump could not only impose significant financial penalties but also severely restrict his business activities in New York.

Throughout the trial, both sides have presented their narratives fiercely.

The state maintains its accusation of long-standing financial fraud, while Trump and his defense emphasize the absence of fraudulent intent in his financial statements.

Conclusion

This trial sheds light on complex financial practices and the fine line between error and intentional fraud.

As the courtroom awaits the final decision, the public and legal communities alike are keenly observing the unfolding of this high-profile case.

  • ·         Former President Donald Trump's civil fraud trial in New York has entered its defense phase.

  • ·         NYU Professor Eli Bartov testified, finding no evidence of accounting fraud in Trump's financial statements.

  • ·         The trial, filled with allegations of conspiracy and insurance fraud, is set to conclude before Christmas.

  • ·         If found liable, Trump faces significant penalties and restrictions on his business activities in New York.

**Trump's lawyers file motion to pause election interference case:

Former President Donald Trump faces multiple legal battles that has resulted in his lawyers working overtime to protect him from several political indictments.

Each day seemingly brings a new twist to any one of his battles, and that was certainly the case this week after Trump and his attorneys "filed a motion seeking to halt activity in his election interference case after filing a notice of appeal Thursday seeking to override a decision from a federal judge who denied his motion to toss the case," according to The Hill.

The requests asked Judge Tanya Chutkan to pause "all district court proceedings in this case" while a higher court makes a ruling on the former president's earlier appeal to have the case tossed completely.

There were no legal arguments included in the motion. The Hill reported that arguments are expected in a later filing.

The stakes are high, given that the trial is set to begin March 4, which just so happens to fall right before Super Tuesday -- one of the most important early primary voting days of the election cycle.

Prosecutors argue that Trump and his legal defense team are trying "maneuvers" to get the trial moved passed the 2024 election.

Trump, his allies, supporters, and logical-thinking people believe that the trial date was purposely set to disrupt his campaign, or at least that's the illusion.

Trump's request came in the wake of a ruling last week by Chutkan who said Trump's immunity defense wasn't going to fly.

In a 48-page ruling, Chutkan wrote, "Whatever immunities a sitting President may enjoy, the United States has only one Chief Executive at a time, and that position does not confer a lifelong ‘get-out-of-jail-free’ pass, Former Presidents enjoy no special conditions on their federal criminal liability."

She added, "Defendant may be subject to federal investigation, indictment, prosecution, conviction, and punishment for any criminal acts undertaken while in office."

Trump's lawyers were not thrilled with Chutkan's assessment of the situation, saying, "The Court incorrectly denied President Trump’s claim of Presidential immunity on the ground that such immunity does not extend to federal criminal prosecution for a President’s official acts."

Despite the ongoing legal battles, Trump still enjoys a dominate lead in all relevant GOP primary polling.

The former president and his allies have long insisted that the cases against him are part of a larger effort to hamstring his 2024 presidential campaign, especially given that he's doing so well.

*Colorado Supreme Court justice warns of "chaos" if Trump case not resolved before 2024 election:

A Colorado Supreme Court justice warned of "chaos" if the challenge to former President Donald Trump's candidacy was not resolved before the 2024 election was decided, the Washington Examiner reported. A lower court ruled in favor of keeping Trump's name on the ballot despite finding that he participated in an "insurrection."

The state's highest court has the power to overturn that decision. However, Justice William Hood III said that "by failing to resolve this issue on the merits now, we create the potential for chaos in January of 2025."

Last month, a Denver judge ruled that Trump was guilty of an insurrection for his role in the Jan. 6, 2021, riot at the U.S. Capitol. However, the court found that the 14th Amendment of the U.S. Constitution, which bars those who engage in an insurrection from holding office, doesn't apply to the presidency.

Trump's name remains on the ballot as the Colorado Supreme Court reexamines the issue. Still, Hood warned that overturning the lower court's decision would mean the challenge would head to the U.S. Supreme Court and further prolong the matter.

Other justices on the Colorado Supreme Court also noted that the 14th Amendment isn't specific enough about who is considered an "officer of the United States." It would be a significant move to take Trump's name off of the ballot with so little guidance from the U.S. Constitution.

"If it was so important that the president be included, I come back to the question, why not spell it out? Why not include president and vice president the way you spell out?" Justice Carlos Samour said of Section 3 of the amendment.

"They spelled out senator or representative," Samour pointed out. Justice Melissa Hart also noted that "nowhere in any of the references to 'officer' does the Constitution list the president."

It seems that state politicians and even some of the judges are more than happy to label Trump an insurrectionist, and they are attempting to use that against him. However, each has stopped short of disqualifying him from the 2024 presidential race on those grounds, likely knowing it will be overturned at the highest court.

Other states are similarly trying and failing to do this to Trump. Meanwhile, Wyoming’s Secretary of State Chuck Gray filed an amicus curiae brief for the Colorado case in objection to the accusation against Trump, Fox News reported.

"As chief election officials of our states, [Secretaries of State] have to stand up for the electoral process in our republic, and this is pivotal to ensuring the integrity of our elections. I ran on election integrity, and that's why the people of Wyoming voted me into office," Gray said.

"And I'm following through on that, and defending the truth here, and making sure that these outrageous, frivolous lawsuits that the radical left is bringing and trying to remove President Trump from the ballot, that they don't succeed," Gray added. Other Secretaries of State, including Frank LaRose of Ohio and Jay Ashcroft of Missouri, also joined in.

"It really should have been dismissed immediately; the case is frivolous. And instead, we got this 95-page finding from this local judge there in Colorado, and with the principle of issue preclusion, this could be really used against President Trump," Gray continued.

"So, it's very important that this is just dismissed in its entirety. And that's what we really try to delve into with this amicus brief … and we're really proud that Missouri Secretary of State Jay Ashcroft and Ohio Secretary of State LaRose signed on."

These false and malicious claims against the former president over Jan. 6 have become another means of election interference. Trump deserves to be on the ballot, and the American people deserve to have the chance to decide for themselves.

Keanu Reeves' Hollywood home raided by burglars, who stole 'John Wick' star's gun: Reports:

The Hollywood home of Keanu Reeves was raided by burglars earlier this week, multiple reports say.

A spokesperson for the Los Angeles Police Department said officers responded to an anonymous call about trespassers at the home of the "John Wick" star around 7 p.m. on Wednesday. However, LAPD officers did not find anyone at the "Matrix" star's home in Hollywood Hills.

Then around 1 a.m. on Thursday, police responded to an alarm that was tripped at the celebrity's home.

Investigators reviewed security camera footage that reportedly showed multiple men in ski masks smashing a window and entering the property. The perpetrators allegedly fled the crime scene before police arrived.

"According to our sources, the culprits took one firearm from the home before making a run for it. It's unclear if anything else was taken, but Keanu was not home at the time," TMZ reported.

Los Angeles Magazine noted, "LAPD is currently investigating if the initial call was someone scouting the property to see the police’s response time out to the house."

Authorities are still investigating the incident.

This isn't the first time that the celerity home of Reeves was the target of intruders.

In September 2014, his home was infiltrated by two intruders in two days.

Reeves was awoken around 4 a.m. to find a woman sleeping in his library chair.

TMZ previously reported, "Keanu calmly approached her and began speaking to her. She explained she was there to meet him. He very calmly called 911 and obtusely told the dispatcher cops needed to roll quick."

Police arrived at the 59-year-old actor's home and allegedly took the woman into custody and she was taken for a psych evaluation.

The day after the bizarre fan encounter, a second woman illegally entered his house when Reeves was not home.

The 50-year-old woman purportedly slipped into the house through a door left unlocked by the cleaning crew inside.

Law enforcement officials told TMZ the woman took a shower in his house and went skinny dipping in the pool. The cleaning staff alerted Reeves, who then contacted police.

In February, Reeves and his partner, Alexandra Grant, were granted a restraining order against a 38-year-old man who is accused of stalking, harassing, and trespassing on the actor’s property.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, "The order describes the individual as a transient stranger with no permanent residence, but who has 'engaged in an ongoing course of alarming and harassing/threatening conduct' since November 2022."

The man, Bryan Dixon, allegedly went to Reeves' home and wore a "suspicious and alarming" backpack, which included a DNA testing kit that was “apparently intended to use on Mr. Reeves in a delusional attempt to prove they are blood-related."

Young Americans lead Population in Prepping for Disaster:

Patriot News ALERTS

December 9, 2023

By World Net Daily

This story was originally published by the WND News Center.

That portion of America's population that preps for disaster often in the past has been limited to handsful of people with electric generators in their garages and basements full of dry and canned foods stacked on shelves.

In other words, a relatively small number.

But it's growing, and the younger populations are leading the way.

That's according to a survey by Finder.com that was profiled in Fox News.

The results reveal that in 2019, only 20% of Americans reported making a disaster-related purchase over the previous year. The most recent year found 29% doing that, with 39% of Millennials and 40% of Gen Zers "reported spending money on disaster prepping in the last 12 months."

Those numbers had spiked during COVID when 45% confirmed such purchases, and among Millennials it was 58% and Gen Zers was 59%.

While the later numbers were down, Fox explained, "Younger Americans appear to be the ones preparing the most for a disaster scenario ahead of 2024, with everything from global pandemics to the upcoming presidential election on their minds."

"In my work, I see young people worried about a repeat of a COVID-type event and the types of disruption it can bring to daily life," explained Chad Huddleston, of Southern Illinois University, in a visit with Fox News Digital.

And Drew Miller, chief of Fortitude Collapse Preparedness, added, "Our people have known for a long time that when there's an electric grid failure or a real pandemic… that people won't go to work, there won't be food, and they'll starve if you don't have preparations."

Patrick McCall, of McCall Risk Group, explained to Fox, "The number of sites I think that were selling these [emergency preparedness] things or the number of places that were offering this type of stuff on the Internet was very scarce [in 2017]. Then we got into COVID, which created its own dilemmas and own kind of prepping in a different bit of craziness, as I would call it."

Several experts suggested concerns over the 2024 presidential election could be a motivating factor.

Miller cited concerns over a “possible civil war” following the election. Democrats, in fact, repeatedly have claimed that democracy will be dead if President Donald Trump is victorious, despite the fact the policies and actions of Democrat candidate Joe Biden, the incumbent, have repeatedly undermined democracy through his agenda to censor ordinary Americans, and impose punishment for thought crimes.

It’s also partly because national and international politics are “more chaotic,” according to Brekke Wagoner, who runs the Sustainable Prepping social media channel.

“I think for the first time, a lot of Millennials and Gen Zers are realizing how fragile our systems are. We’ve grown up in a time in which technology has meant we’ve had grocery stores that were always stocked and you can get anything from Amazon in 24 hours. Then all of a sudden the pandemic and some uncertainties in our national and international politics has made us rethink how all of these systems are not as stable as we assumed,” Wagoner said.

Trump Crushes Eligibility Challenge in Court – Haters Silenced!

In a stunning victory for Former President Donald Trump, a federal court in Arizona has thrown out a frivolous case challenging his eligibility to run for president. Take that, haters! The court, presided over by the wise and astute United States District Judge Douglas L. Rayes, dismissed the case because the person who brought it, John Anthony Castro, just didn’t have the chops to challenge the 2024 frontrunner. Sorry, Castro, maybe next time.

JUST IN: Trump Gets Huge Court Victory In Arizona…..https://t.co/umQFkk78Wt

— 🇺🇸🇺🇸Josh Dunlap🇺🇲🇺🇲 ULTRA-MAGA (@JDunlap1974) December 6, 2023

You see, there’s this fancy legal principle called “standing,” which basically means you can’t sue someone unless you’ve actually been personally harmed by their actions. And according to the court, Castro couldn’t prove that he was in direct competition with Trump or that he would suffer any harm from Trump being on the ballot. Nice try, Castro, but you can’t just sue someone because you’re jealous of their popularity.

But it gets better. The court even looked at Castro’s campaign finance reports and found that he had basically raised chump change. I mean, come on, Castro, if you’re gonna challenge a former president, at least show us the money! According to the Federal Election Commission records, Castro’s campaign only managed to scrape together a measly $678.00 in contributions. That’s barely enough to buy a Big Mac at Trump Tower.

To add insult to injury, Castro is a nobody in the political world. He’s practically a nobody competing for the Republican nomination in the 2024 election. And get this, he even tried running for the U.S. House in Texas’ 6th District in 2021. Newsflash, Castro, your failed attempts at political office don’t give you the right to drag down a true leader like Donald Trump.

But wait, there’s more! Castro had the audacity to file 27 federal lawsuits challenging Trump’s eligibility to run. Twenty-seven! Talk about a sore loser. And he even threatened Trump with “legal hell.” Oh please, Castro, save your empty threats for someone who cares. We all know that Trump is as tough as nails and can handle anything you throw at him.

In the end, the court not only dismissed Castro’s baseless complaint but also shut down any other related legal requests. It’s time to call it a day, Castro. The court has spoken, and Trump is free to run for president once again. This victory just goes to show that when it comes to playing the political game, Trump is the master, and his opponents will always be left in the dust. Long live the Trump train!
