Sunday 2-4-24

Verses for today:

Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid.

Matthew 5:14 KJV

How think ye? if a man have an hundred sheep, and one of them be gone astray, doth he not leave the ninety and nine, and goeth into the mountains, and seeketh that which is gone astray?

Matthew 18:12 KJV

And he said unto them, Take heed, and beware of covetousness: for a man's life consisteth not in the abundance of the things which he possesseth.

Luke 12:15 KJV

How come This isn't on the News Every Day?

Protesting farmers blocked many roads with tractors, started bonfires, set off fireworks, and toppled a statue in front of the European Parliament.

BRUSSELS (LifeSiteNews) – Protestors have now blocked streets in Brussels with tractors and started bonfires in front of the European Parliament.

On February 1, the Europe-wide farmers’ protest against policies threatening their existence reached Brussels, where protestors blocked many roads with tractors, started bonfires, set off fireworks, and toppled a statue in front of the European Parliament.

“We want to stop these crazy laws that come every single day from the European Commission,” a Spanish farmer representing his country’s farmer’s union told Reuters.

According to Reuters, the police used tear gas and water cannons against some protestors who tried to tear down barriers that were erected to protect the parliament.

The protest in Brussels happened in the context of a continent-wide uprising, including in France, where 10,000 farmers erected more than 100 blockades on important roads across the country. Farmer protests also took place in SpainPortugalItalyGreeceGermanyScotland and Ireland.

A German comedian and member of the European Parliament, Martin Sonneborn, wrote on X, formerly Twitter, “thousands of farmers with agricultural delegations from France, Belgium, Spain, Italy and Portugal camped outside my workplace in Brussels. The city is at a standstill, already 230 kilometers of traffic jams at 8 o’clock in the morning.”

“As far as the EU is concerned, the outside world and the inside world are clearly no longer in any meaningful relationship with each other: while more than 1,300 tractors are blocking the European Parliament and its burning forecourt outside, the 27 heads of state inside have not even put the farmers’ anger on their agenda,” he wrote.

“The so-called common people, the farmers & workers, have often been the main driving force in European history. While those in office are, well, rather described as somewhat ‘retarding’.”

“Vive la farmers’ revolution!” Sonneborn concluded.

Archbishop Carlo Maria Viganò, the former papal nuncio to the U.S., expressed his support for the farmer’s protests in a recent post on X.

“The globalist criminal plan wants to destroy traditional agriculture, animal husbandry, and fishing in order to force people to eat artificial food produced by multinational corporations,” he wrote. “And it is the big investment funds and the Word Economic Forum that are lobbying parliaments to impose a devastating and inhuman ‘transition’.”

“I express my complete solidarity with and encouragement to the farmers, ranchers, fishermen, truck drivers, and all those who support them.”

“Let us accompany with prayer those who are fighting against the New World Order. May the Rosary be the spiritual chain that unites us. May the Lord accompany, protect, and bless those who are waking up before it is too late,” Viganò concluded.

Foreign imports and ‘climate change’ policies threaten existence of farmers

At the time of the protests, an extraordinary summit of the heads of state of the EU members took place in Brussels. During the meeting, the politicians approved a 50 billion euro aid package for Ukraine.

One of the farmers’ concerns is the flooding of the European market with cheap Ukrainian imports that are meant to help the country with its war efforts. Since Ukraine and other non-EU countries do not have to adhere to the high environmental standards of the EU, the farmers view it as unfair competition that threatens their existence.

For the same reason, the farmers also oppose a planned trade deal between the EU and the Mercosur bloc, a federation of countries in South America.

One of the major issues for farmers is the so-called “green” measures imposed by EU bureaucrats that include higher taxes or cuts to tax subsidies as well as bans on necessary tools such as nitrogen fertilizer.

The farmers have also been blamed for their greenhouse emissions and their alleged contribution to “climate change”. They are heavily affected by the EU’s plan to achieve “net-zero” emissions and make the bloc “climate-neutral” by 2050.

The plan includes cutting fertilizer use by 20%, limiting the amount of land dedicated to agricultural use, halving pesticides by 2030, and doubling organic food production.

While some of these measures may have a positive impact on food quality, they put immense pressure on farmers, especially smaller farms, whose numbers have been on the decline for decades. The EU’s plan to combat so-called “climate change” could lead to the majority of farmland being controlled by a relatively small elite.

Part of the problem for smaller farms is the EU’s common agricultural policy (CAP), a € 55 billion per year subsidy system that has been in place for over 60 years. The system “has historically been based on economy of scale: bigger farms, bigger holdings, common standards,” Jon Henley from The Guardian writes

This policy has led to a continuous decrease in small farms in Europe as they have become increasingly uncompetitive.

Israel's Long War for the West

The common thread weaving Hamas, Hezbollah and the Shia militias together is the significant funding and support each receives from Iran, which has in turn received it from the Obama and Biden administrations. When the Biden administration came in, Iran had $6 billion of reserves; it now has, according to former US Army Gen. Jack Keane, more than $100 billion-- which is presumably what it used to finance its proxies and its nuclear program.

The Biden administration now appears about to compound the problem with another catastrophic retreat: there are reported to be discussions about the US pulling its troops out of oil-rich Iraq – just as the Iranian regime has been trying to force the US to do since Iran's Islamic Revolution of 1979.

"Israel didn't start this war. Israel didn't want this war.... In fighting Hamas and the Iranian axis of terror, Israel is fighting the enemies of civilization itself.... While Israel is doing everything to get Palestinian civilians out of harm's way, Hamas is doing everything to keep Palestinian civilians in harm's way. Israel urges Palestinian civilians to leave the areas of armed conflict, while Hamas prevents those civilians from leaving those areas at gunpoint." — Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, Wall Street Journal.

Iran's former Foreign Minister Ali-Akbar Salehi recently confirmed that the "the confrontation between Iran and Israel will continue as long as [Israel] exists... even if a Palestinian state is established."

Israel is actually well on its way to winning. The least we can do is to enable it to have whatever it needs to complete its mission, and the time in which to do it.

[P]rotecting our borders and protecting our allies is not an either-or choice.... America's outstanding troops are fighting abroad not because the US is irresponsibly gallant, and not recklessly to fund the military-industrial complex, but to defend us here at home better.

If you have a strong military, you will not have to use it: no one will test you.

In 1938, British Prime Minister Neville Chamberlain thought that a "deal" with Hitler would bring peace and stability. It brought the opposite. Hitler, not surprisingly, used the opportunity of the illusion of peace to enlarge his invasions. By the time they became intolerable, it was clear to everyone that it would have been far less costly in life and treasure to have stopped Hitler before his army crossed the Rhine.

[A]s the journalist Daniel Greenfield pointed out, did anyone ever ask during World War II if there were too many German casualties, and if there were, that the fighting should stop?

The Biden administration would probably prefer to work with an Israeli prime minister, who was more compliant, one who would be happy to see a Palestinian state next to Israel, and not worry so much if it was genocidal; a prime minister who would be happy to see an Iran armed with nuclear weapons, and not get all squeamish every time the mullahs called for "Death to Israel" and said Israel is a "one-bomb" nation. The Biden administration might even be wondering, "Why can't there be a reasonable Israeli prime minister who would just sign off on these plans without giving everyone such a hard time?"

"Iran wants to erase the Jewish state from the map, but the main obstacle Mr. Blinken sees to his plan is Israel." — Editorial Board, Wall Street Journal, January 24, 2024.

Others have mentioned that if this is what Iran is doing without a nuclear weapon, just think of what it will do with one.

Not all wars are "forever" or "pointless," or the United States would not be here. Regrettably, there seems to be... a commitment to losing.

The Biden administration has so far been immensely supportive of Israel in many ways, which is most welcome. It is sincerely hoped that its wholehearted support will stay the distance.

Iran itself has been exempt from paying any price for all the devastation it is causing, not to mention the devastation it could cause if it is allowed to have nuclear weapons. Diplomacy will not stop it, and a "deal" will not stop it.

It is time to confront the Iran challenge seriously, eliminate Iran's ability to fund and provide weapons to its proxies that pose multiple threats in this fight, and bring an end to its nuclear program before it is too late.

On January 17, 2024, the Council for a Secure America (CSA) released the latest update to its "Israel-Hamas War" report, marking 100 days since the start of the war. The update is the third in a series following CSA's 50- and 70-day war reports. From the outset of these reports, the real question was how long they would need to be issued.

Historically, wars involving Israel have been relatively short. The "Six Day War" in 1967 derived its name from the length of the war that saw Israel defeat the combined forces of Egypt, Jordan and Syria in that time. The Yom Kippur War of 1973, which started with a surprise attack on Israel led by Syria and Egypt, lasted just short of three weeks before an Israeli victory. In between, there have been continual attacks, to which Israel has responded by "cleaning up" the immediate sources of the attacks, which the Israelis dryly called "mowing the lawn."

The moral calculus between the Allies and the Nazis in WWII did not change based on how many German civilians were killed in the bombings and artillery shelling on the road to Berlin. The morality of the American Civil War was not measured in civilian deaths, and neither is any other.

A nation is actively evil when it sets out to exterminate a civilian population. Whether it is WWII or the Hamas war: only one of the two sides was engaged in a total war of extermination.

On October 7 and in the months since, Hamas has engaged in the deliberate killings of civilians. Israel has not. The number games are meant to be a distraction from that simple fact.

Morality is defined by intent, not statistics.

Pictured: The funeral of Israel Defense Forces Capt. Harel Itach, who fell in battle against Hamas terrorists in the Gaza Strip, on December 31, 2023 in Netanya, Israel. (Photo by Amir Levy/Getty Images)

The Associated Press recently made headlines by falsely claiming that the Israeli campaign against Hamas "sits among the deadliest and most destructive in recent history" and was even worse than "the Allied bombing of Germany in World War II".

The Washington Post argued that "Israel has waged one of this century's most destructive wars in Gaza" while The Wall Street Journal contended that it was "generating destruction comparable in scale to the most devastating urban warfare in the modern record."

That's all the more impressive since, even accepting the Hamas casualty figures (tainted and inflated numbers in which there are no terrorists, only civilians, and fighting age men are really children) as the media does, this is still probably one of the least violent conflicts in the region.

[T]hose wishing to stand for a seat in the Majlis must be approved by the Council of the Guardians whose members are named by the "Supreme Guide".

Those elected won't be considered elected unless the "Supreme Guide" approves.

In an arrangement that might have amused Alice [in Wonderland], candidates are not allowed to criticize the leadership or to offer programs that contradict choices already made by the ruling elite.

The Fundamentalists have never made it clear what their fundamentals are, and the Reformists have always shied away from suggesting any concrete reform.

The "Supreme Guide" has repeatedly said he prefers the Fundamentalists who praise his "Looking East" strategy.

In Lewis Carroll's Alice's Adventures in Wonderland, a visual perversion deforms people and objects so that they look like what they are meant to be but are not quite the same.

The fantasy device used by the English poet in his comic tale has given its name to a neurological condition known as the Alice in Wonderland Syndrome (AIWS) which causes an incorrect perception of external reality.

The four decades' long experiment that Iran has had with the Khomeinist ideology is a big-sized illustration of that syndrome.

To start with, you call yourself Islamic but end up as a regime that directly or indirectly has attacked all of Iran's Muslim neighbors, sparing the only two that are not Muslims: Armenia and Russia.

Then you call yourself a republic but insist that an elected president cannot be installed unless endorsed by the "Supreme Guide" who could also veto all of the president's decisions or even sack him with a nod.

Good Day

David A. Strock, Sr.

As I read the following from Mike Lindell, I had no problems believing any of it because I lived it.  Not in the realm of politics; but, in the realm of nasty business….more than once too.

Were I not a Christian, I probably would not have survived any of them.

For example with WXIL, I KNOW almost all that was done to me from three radio station owning objectors to the assignment of Channel 236 to Parkersburg, to a competing applicant for the license; to the rigging Arbitrons in 1976 to attempts on my life; to cheating accountants; to a walk out of my entire staff in 1978 (not all those folks were bad…just the leaders…peer pressure is a terrible thing) ; to corrupt legal counsel; and much more!  I really should finish my book.  I mostly know who, how and why these things were done to me.  Their philosophy:  If you can’t beat the competition then simply kill it.

You have no idea unless you have been through it yourself like I have and like Mike Lindell has what being a target can mean.  In some small way, I can also identify with Donald Trump.  Hatred is hatred no matter who the target or who your assailant may be.  It seemed like my enemies had all the money in the world, while I had NONE.  Yet, my radio station was the highest rated station based on percentages of the population ever.

And you know what?  Politics did also play a role against me as Jimmy Carter was President the entire time, I had WXIL; with the highest interest rates on record to this day I believe in our country.  Only Joe Biden is worse with Barack Obama running 3rd in my opinion.  And., I have forgiven all.   Everyone.  For it to have total effect, those who I have forgiven would be wise to ask for forgiveness; so, that they might understand what has been given them.

Be sure to read the following…not with a grain of salt… no.  But rather with a strong Faith in the God of the Universe and His Son, Jesus Christ who can, does and will see you through it all.  We are in for a hard ride this year. But I am not afraid.

“What then shall we say to [all] this?  If God is for us, who [can be] against us?  [Who can be our foe if God is on our side?]   He who did not withhold or spare [even] His own Son but gave Him up for us all, will He not also with Him freely and graciously give us all [other] things?  Who shall bring any charge against God’s elect [when it is] God Who justifies [that is, who puts us in right relation to Himself?  Who shall come forward and accuse or impeach those whom God has chosen?  Will God, who acquits us?]  Romans 8:31-33 – Amplified Bible Classic Edition

It might serve you all well if you were to read the entire chapter:  https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Romans%208&version=AMPC  One of my favorite Bible passages…..although I love them all.

Blessings to all of you.

From: Lindell Offense Fund <no-reply@lindelloffensefund.org>Sent: Saturday, February 3, 2024 5:02 PMTo: dassr@cascable.net Subject: Good Day

We need safe elections no matter who is running for office!

Hello from Mike Lindell,

I know a good day from a bad day.

I have studied the numbers for my business for years. If something doesn't look right, I ask questions.

I never just throw up my hands and say, "It must have been a bad day for sales."

No, you never do that if you want to become successful.

You have to do your research, and ask questions, and discover what is happening and why, if you want to survive.

The same way with politics.

In November 2020, when I watched the Election Returns come in, and with 95% counted, or 97% counted in Arizona or Pennsylvania, you knew Donald Trump had been reelected.

But when the counting stopped, the video monitors turned off, and Polling Station windows were covered up with brown paper.

And then, the Election Returns froze like Lake Michigan in February.

That's when I got a little suspicious. That's when the "Oh no" began to set in.

Since November 2020, you and I have been on a quest to NEVER LET THAT HAPPEN AGAIN.

The mail-in ballots. Electronic voting machines. Ballot-harvesting. No voter ID.  Voter Drop Boxes.  Election Season. Then the lawyers show up on CNN, MSNBC and FOX News.

November becomes December. Then, January 6. Then you have January 7-8, the two most critical days in US History.

For those of you, like me, who questioned the results of the election, we were deplatformed and censored on YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter—if you dared say anything about elections or Donald Trump.

The rest of us were put on ice—the Deep State used fear to shut you and I up. They wanted to silence us like Nazi Germany. Then a Divine thing happened to me. Someone gave me evidence of the Election Results.

Computers were pre-programmed and/or programmed afterwards.

My business was canceled because I was speaking out.

Then the lawsuits followed—the lawfare—to shut me up and shut my business down.

The Deep State followed, surrounding my car, and taking my Mobile phone at a Hardee's Drive-through.

And honestly, safe and fair elections are bigger than Donald Trump. I am fighting for every party, every politician.

WE NEED SAFE ELECTIONS NO MATTER WHO IS RUNNING FOR OFFICE!

But there is no question, no question, Donald Trump is being singled out for attack by the media, lawyers, the Deep State and many Washington politicians including President Biden and former President Barack Obama.

Despite it all, I still have faith in America because of you. I have not lost faith in God. I know Jesus is in control and he is allowing us to see all of this.

Trump is the frontrunner, and come what may, we will do everything in our power to end the machines, return to single day voting, in-person voting, with voter ID, and using Paper Ballots that are hand-counted and tallied on the same day--like France, Argentina, and Taiwan.

Thank you for all of your support and prayers and notes of encouragement. We have a long way to go, but with you by my side, and God's blessing, we can preserve this great nation.

Thank you, and God Bless

Mike Lindell

Republicans abandon fight to end the killing of preborn babies. Pro-lifers vow to make them pay:

Having ridden the abortion issue to victory at the polls for decades, craven Republicans are revealing their true colors.

After the Dobbs decision overturned Roe v. Wade, Republican lawmakers can no longer use Roe as an excuse for refusing to end abortion-on-demand.

You’ll never believe what prominent Republicans are saying now.

In 2022, after more than 66 million deaths, the High Court finally overturned this odious ruling returning to elected officials their most sacred duty, the protection of innocent human life.

And now that the power to end abortion-on-demand is back in their hands, Republican politicians are showing just how meaningless their lip service to the Right to Life cause was.

Republicans betray their Pro-Life allies

After leveraging the zeal of the Pro-Life movement to secure victory after victory at the ballot box, Republican operatives are successfully working behind the scenes to water down the Party’s stand on protecting the lives of unborn children.

NBC News reported that the National Republican Senatorial Committee is urging the GOP to reject a national abortion ban and to only back restrictions on late-term abortions.

And some Republican politicians are scrubbing their websites of any mention of defense of the unborn.

Rep. Troy Balderson’s website once said, “as a Christian, Troy believes life begins at conception and is 100% pro-life,” but his 2024 website makes no reference to his stance at all.

Rep. Monica De La Cruz recently deleted mentions of her pro-life stance on her website and believes in finding so-called “common ground” on this issue.

Mace hails babies deaths at a “sweet spot”

But South Carolina Republican Congresswoman Nancy Mace made the most absurd and indefensible statement of them all.

She called a 15-to-20-week abortion ban with exceptions the “sweet spot.”

At 20 weeks a baby is so developed she can feel pain and move her arms and legs.

So, exactly how many of these precious little ones is Congresswoman Mace willing to sacrifice to attain her political “sweet spot” – 100, 1,000, 10,000, 100,000?

As a mother herself, she should know the value of every precious child.  But I guess to her they’re simply pawns on the political chess board.

Betraying Pro-Lifers will lead to Republicans’ defeat.

Every news cycle, the Republican Party’s willingness to sell-out their supposed principles for what they see as political gain is on display.

Make no mistake, Republican voters are sick and tired of getting stabbed in the back by politicians who pretend to be principled conservatives on the campaign trail but are nothing more than cowards or Democrat-lite once they’re elected.

Feckless Republicans would do well to remember the activist Warren Court has been replaced by the originalist Roberts Court due in no small part to the dedication of Pro-Lifers who worked tirelessly for decades to elect Republicans, especially Republican presidents.

Betraying them will have dire political consequences.

IRS Announces Massive New Boost

Here's what you can't miss today:

The Chinese military strategist Sun Tzu once wrote: “The supreme art of war is to subdue the enemy without fighting.”

We live in an age of fifth-generation information warfare. Battles are not solely fought with guns and bombs. The new battlefield is in the minds of every citizen.

There are covert psychological operations at play to control what you see, what you hear, and what you’re allowed to think.

In this first episode of FALLOUT, our new EpochTV show co-hosted by Dr. Robert Malone and Epoch Times senior editor Jan Jekielek, we’ll be diving into some of the key tactics of disinformation.

After that, we’ll take a break—and head to Dr. Malone’s farm to get a glimpse into the magic of horse riding.

For fiscal year 2024, the IRS plans to boost enforcement staff by a net 5,462 employees, according to a Jan. 29 report by IRS watchdog Treasury Inspector General for Tax Administration (TIGTA). This would take the total number of enforcement personnel at the tax agency to 18,960 by the end of fiscal 2024, which is 40 percent higher than the staffing at the beginning of October 2023.

The Oregon Supreme Court has just ruled that almost all of the Republican senators in the state are banned from running for reelection. This ruling means that 90 percent of Oregon’s Republican senators are essentially being kicked out of the chamber.
