Bongino Causes Panic with Ominous Social Media Post:
‘I'll Never Be the Same’:
Deputy FBI Director Dan Bongino ignited a firestorm online Saturday with a foreboding message on social media, stating he will “never be the same” after the discoveries he’s made during his time with the bureau.
“During my tenure here as the Deputy Director of the FBI, I have repeatedly relayed to you that things are happening that might not be immediately visible, but they are happening,” Bongino wrote on X.
He emphasized that both he and Director Patel are dedicated to “stamping out public corruption and the political weaponization of both law enforcement and intelligence operations,” calling it a top priority. But it was the next portion of his message that drew the most attention, as Bongino hinted at disturbing revelations uncovered during internal investigations.
“But what I have learned in the course of our properly predicated and necessary investigations into these aforementioned matters, has shocked me down to my core. We cannot run a Republic like this. I’ll never be the same after learning what I’ve learned,” his post continued. “We are going to conduct these righteous and proper investigations by the book and in accordance with the law. We are going to get the answers WE ALL DESERVE. As with any investigation, I cannot predict where it will land, but I can promise you an honest and dignified effort at truth. Not ‘my truth’ or ‘your truth,’ but THE TRUTH.”
Bongino closed the post with, “God bless America, and all those who defend Her.”
His comments follow a wave of scrutiny and investigations surrounding former senior officials from the Obama administration, including ex-CIA Director John Brennan and former FBI Director James Comey. Both are under investigation for their roles in initiating the Trump-Russia collusion probe, a matter that led to the Mueller investigation and legal challenges that overshadowed much of President Trump’s first term.
Newly declassified documents have shown that top intelligence officials were aware Russia had no material impact on the 2016 election when they approved the launch of the investigation. However, Comey and Brennan testified to the contrary before Congress.
National Intelligence Director Tulsi Gabbard, who signed a memo verifying that these officials had informed their superiors of the lack of Russian impact, has characterized the entire operation as a “coup attempt.”
“This is not a Democrat or Republican issue. This is an issue that is so serious it should concern every single American because it has to do with the integrity of our democratic republic,” Gabbard said in a recent interview with Fox News.
“What we saw occur here as the documents we released detailed was that we had a sitting President of the United States and his cabinet and leadership team, quite frankly, who were not happy with the fact that President Trump had won the election, that the American people had chosen Donald J. Trump to be the next President, Commander-in-Chief of the United States.”
She continued: “So the effect of what President Obama and his senior national security team did was subvert the will of the American people, undermining our democratic republic, and enacting what would be essentially a years-long coup against President Trump, who was duly elected by the American people.”
In response, the Justice Department announced Thursday the formation of a “strike force” to determine whether there is sufficient evidence to bring charges against former President Barack Obama for his alleged role in the matter.
According to Attorney General Pam Bondi, the team will work to identify “the worst offenders” involved in alleged fraudulent conduct, including health care fraud, wire fraud, mail fraud, bank fraud, money laundering, false statements, and related offenses.
Meanwhile, the FBI has opened a separate investigation into Comey and Brennan. Sources told Fox News the inquiry is focusing on potential false statements made before Congress about the Russia probe, as well as possible elements of a broader conspiracy.
