On a recent Glenn Beck broadcast, a listener called in and said he could explain exactly why the Democrats (and all “woke” and “progressive” individuals} are what they are. He and Glenn referred to them as “reprobates”. The caller defined “reprobate” from the original Latin as “dimwitted” or “stupid” or “without intelligence”. Now, I am no expert on Latin. But, generally knowing the meaning of the word “reprobate” as defined by Webster above, I had no problem with the caller’s definition. Now, and this is the most important part of the discussion, the caller reminded Beck of the Letter to the Romans written by Paul the Apostle, Chapter 1. He said this explains the “woke” generation perfectly sighting things like “transgenderism”, “homosexuality”. “abortion”, and so much more. So, Beck read from his Bible the relevant parts of the first chapter of Romans. Of course, I was familiar with it from my Bible readings. I thought about the context being in terms of America/CANADA and much of the world “going crazy” and it made compete sense.
