Franklin Delano Roosevelt is remembered as the architect of the New Deal and the wartime president who rallied America to victory. He projected calm confidence, speaking of democracy, progress, and providence. Yet behind the public mask stood a man whose private loyalty was to a fraternity older than the republic itself. Roosevelt was a Freemason, not in name only but in conviction. He joined early, advanced eagerly, and carried Masonic symbols into the very fabric of the nation he led.
Roosevelt’s initiation took place in 1911 at Holland Lodge No. 8 in New York. He pledged his oaths, learned the ritual, and embraced the fraternity’s vision of a universal brotherhood under the Great Architect of the Universe. Unlike politicians who treated the lodge as a convenient network, Roosevelt was committed. He praised Masonry openly, sought its company, and surrounded himself with brothers in Washington. For him, the fraternity’s ideals were not a curiosity but a framework that shaped his sense of destiny.
CHURCHILL THE DRUID
Winston Churchill is remembered as the bulldog of Britain, the cigar-smoking statesman who rallied his island with words that sounded like cannon fire. Yet in the shadows, he wore different robes. Before the Second World War ever tested him, he had been initiated into the Ancient Order of Druids, a fraternal society cloaked in ritual, pageantry, and the trappings of an ancient priesthood. For a man who would later posture as the great defender of Christian civilization, the image of Churchill dressed in Druidic regalia ought to give us pause. He was not merely a politician of Empire. He was a man willing to step into strange fellowships, dabble in symbolic rites, and entertain the kinds of societies that carry with them more than a whiff of the occult.
The Ancient Order of Druids was not pagan revival in the literal sense, but it was far more than a gentlemen’s club. Founded in London in the eighteenth century, the Order borrowed the imagery and ritual of the ancient Celtic priesthood. Its members processed in white robes, spoke of sacred groves, and cast their fraternal bond as a continuation of an ancient spiritual lineage. Churchill’s initiation into this society took place in 1908 at Blenheim Palace, his ancestral home. The photographs of the event are haunting: Churchill standing among robed figures with beards flowing, sashes and staffs raised in ritual. These were not images of parliamentary debate or military planning. These were images of initiation into something arcane, a ritual act tying Churchill to a Druidic brotherhood.
Some argue it was harmless, a cultural relic in the same vein as Freemasonry (which, of course, is not harmless at all). But harmless societies do not dress themselves in the vestments of pagan priesthood. Harmless societies do not perform ceremonies in which men bind themselves with symbols of sacred trees and ancestral spirits. Churchill’s willingness to join tells us something about him. He was not opposed to the mystical. He was not too rational for ritual. He was attracted to it, amused by it, and willing to cloak himself in its garments when invited.
Churchill also had brief ties to Freemasonry. Though he was not as devoted to the lodge as Roosevelt, he was initiated into the fraternity and moved within its circles. The same Churchill who could thunder against Hitler’s pagan Reich was at ease in rooms filled with men who called themselves brothers by the light of Masonic fire. Even outside of formal lodges, he found comfort in esoteric societies. In one of his more peculiar dining circles, Churchill himself was nicknamed “the Sorcerer,” while other members of Parliament took on beastly symbolic names such as “the Bear.”
It was frivolous on the surface, but nicknames reveal what others saw in him and what he was willing to accept as part of his persona.
Perhaps the most famous of Churchill’s occult associations is the “V for Victory” hand sign. It was the gesture that came to symbolize British resolve, a simple raised index and middle finger. Yet the origins of the sign have long been debated. Some historians suggest it was encouraged by none other than Aleister Crowley, the notorious English occultist who called himself “the Beast.”
Crowley claimed to have promoted the gesture to Churchill personally as a counter-symbol to the Nazi swastika, loading it with his own esoteric meaning. Strangely, Churchill never disputed Crowley’s public claim and on several occasions, just smiled and danced around the subject when asked by the press. Every time he raised those two fingers, he may have been invoking more than defiance. He may have been echoing a sign crafted in the laboratory of occult symbolism.
The rumors about Churchill and psychic warfare only deepen the mystery. During the Blitz, as bombs fell on London, there were whispers of Britain employing not only radar and codebreaking but psychic defenses. Some accounts claim Churchill entertained the idea of occult practitioners aiding the war effort, just as Himmler relied on astrologers. Hard documentation is scarce, but the very existence of the rumors testifies to the climate of the time. In a world convulsed by death, even the most hardened statesmen could not resist the pull of symbols, rituals, and supernatural whispers.

Churchill’s rhetoric often invoked providence. He could thunder about Christian civilization standing against barbarism. Yet it is worth asking what sort of civilization he had in mind. A man who had stood robed among Druids and who raised a hand sign allegedly popularized by a notorious occultist did not embody a straightforward Christian ideal. He embodied something more conflicted, a man of Empire who found meaning in ritual whether it came from church or from lodge.
The significance of Churchill’s Druidic ties is not that he was a practicing pagan or that he secretly worshiped trees. The significance is that he was part of a generation of leaders who flirted with the mystical as naturally as they smoked cigars or played cards. He was comfortable in a world of symbols, initiations, and hidden societies. He lived at a time when modernity pretended to be rational and secular, but the most powerful men were still drawn to robes, hand signs, and ancient myths.
It is easy to dismiss Churchill’s Druid robes as harmless costume. But the images remain. They show the bulldog of Britain wrapped in white ritual cloth, standing shoulder to shoulder with men who spoke of sacred groves. They remind us that even the leader celebrated as the champion of democracy was not untouched by the allure of occult symbolism. The world was not as cleanly divided as the history books suggest.
Churchill was a Druid, a Mason, a Sorcerer among his friends, both bulldog and brother of a mystic lodge. And in that paradox, we see the truth about the age: modern war was fought with bombs and tanks, but its leaders still reached for ritual and myth, the old shadows that haunt even the most civilized men.

Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, a Democrat from New York, seems extremely worried about rumors that she may be the subject of a federal investigation for allegedly helping illegal immigrants evade capture by Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE).
Following border czar Tom Homan’s announcement that he had referred her to the Justice Department for possible criminal charges, the divisive Democrat wrote a letter to Attorney General Pam Bondi this week, asking to know whether she was the focus of such an investigation.
“I write to request clarity on whether the Department of Justice (DOJ) has yielded to political pressure and attempts to weaponize the agency against elected officials whose speech they disagree with. Over the past two weeks, ‘Border Czar’ Tom Homan has gone on multiple forums threatening political prosecution against me, citing resources I distributed informing my constituents and the American public of their constitutional and legal rights,” she said to begin her letter.
“On February 13, 2025, Mr. Homan announced that he had asked the Deputy Attorney General to open an investigation, and that I will be ‘in trouble now.’ It has been 14 days since Mr. Homan first threatened to weaponize your agency, but I have not yet heard any referral from the federal government. Homan’s actions undercut core Constitutional rights and further transparency is necessary,” AOC wrote along with citing the First Amendment of the Constitution.
“Indeed, last week, Vice President Vance said that ‘we may disagree with your views, but we will fight to defend your right to offer it in the public square.’ Mr. Homan’s repeated attempts to use your agency to politically intimidate duly elected officials are a textbook threat to the right to free speech in the United States. Threatening criminal proceedings for exercising the First Amendment is itself a violation of the First Amendment,” she continued.
“Educating the public about their rights, especially in a time of rising uncertainty, is a key part of our responsibility as elected officials. A government that uses threats of DOJ investigations to suppress free speech is a threat to all, regardless of political ideology.
Please respond no later than March 5, 2025, with an update on the Department of Justice’s response to Mr. Homan’s request and transparency as to whether my office or myself is actively under investigation for exercising their First Amendment rights and executing on our congressional responsibilities,” Ocasio-Cortez wrote.
Homan believes the representative may have created the “Know Your Rights” Instagram Live webinar earlier this month to teach illegal immigrants how to avoid being caught by federal immigration agents, which sparked the issue.
Attorneys from the Immigrant Defense Project led the webinar, which was conducted in both Spanish and English, and gave illegal immigrants advice on how to react to ICE enforcement efforts.
Additionally, her agency has distributed brochures informing illegal immigrants of ICE’s strategies and their legal choices.
Homan claimed to have submitted Ocasio-Cortez to the deputy attorney general for an inquiry in an interview with Sean Hannity of Fox News.
“She wants to go out and say she’s teaching people the constitutional rights. Yeah, you can call it that,” the border czar said.
“We all know what she’s up to. She wants to tell these people how to evade arrest, how to evade ICE, and we still got child predators we’re looking for in New York and her district. People convicted of child sex crimes, people who’ve been convicted of rape, and she wants to say she’s educating them in constitutional rights,” Homan added.
“We’re trying to enforce the laws that Congress enacted. I believe she’s a member of Congress, so if they’re writing laws they don’t want enforced, I can think they got better things to do at a time, but as a member of Congress, you would think she’d want ICE to enforce laws, laws they enacted, that they appropriate us funding to do, and that’s what we’re trying to do, and she’s making it more difficult and more dangerous,” he said.
The congressman might probably argue for free speech, Hannity noted, but he questioned, “When does it cross a line into aiding and abetting lawbreaking?”
“That’s exactly the question I posed to the Deputy Attorney General. I asked him to look into it. I said, you know, I know through my career someone steps in front of you and between you and the person you’re arresting or beating,” Homan said.

A major Democrat megadonor has just shocked the political world—switching sides and throwing his financial muscle behind Virginia’s Republican gubernatorial nominee, Lt. Governor Winsome Earle-Sears, after she became the target of a vile, race-based attack from a far-left protestor.
The controversy erupted on August 21 during a heated Arlington County school board meeting, where Earle-Sears boldly confronted radical leftist policies that allow biological males to invade girls’ bathrooms and locker rooms under the guise of “gender identity.”
As usual, the so-called “tolerant” left couldn’t handle it. Outside the meeting, a protestor proudly displayed a disgusting sign that read:
> “Hey Winsome, if trans can’t share your bathroom, then blacks can’t share my water fountain.”
That repugnant, Jim Crow-era rhetoric instantly revealed the left’s hypocrisy and utter disdain for conservatives of color who refuse to bow to progressive orthodoxy.
Rather than being cowed by the attack, Earle-Sears took to Fox News with her signature poise and patriotism.
> “I’m elected to represent all, even those who hate me,” she declared, sending a powerful message that she serves every Virginian, no matter how ugly their politics may be.
The hateful incident has backfired spectacularly, becoming a turning point for her campaign. And now, Robert Johnson—the billionaire co-founder of BET and longtime Democratic donor who has backed figures like Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton—has stepped up to make a bold statement by donating a whopping \$500,000 to Earle-Sears’ campaign.
Johnson minced no words in his letter of support to Earle-Sears:
> “Madam Lt. Governor. I was so appalled by that racist diatribe displayed by a useful idiot at a recent press event that I chose to show all the voters of Virginia how Black Brothers stand up to defend and support their Black Sisters when confronted with unadulterated racism,” Johnson wrote in a statement shared by her campaign. “I have always been a good investor and that’s why I’m investing in you.”
This is the same Robert Johnson who in 2021 backed Democrat Terry McAuliffe over now-Governor Glenn Youngkin. That he’s now putting his weight behind Earle-Sears speaks volumes about the Democratic Party’s increasing embrace of radicalism and its willingness to attack black conservatives for daring to think independently.
Earle-Sears responded to the hateful display with righteous outrage, calling out the double standards of her opponent, Democrat Rep. Abigail Spanberger:
> “I’m disgusted, but not surprised. This is the ‘tolerant’ left Abigail Spanberger defends,” Earle-Sears wrote on X, formerly Twitter. “There is no place for this disgusting hatred in our Commonwealth. Anyone who doesn’t condemn this sign is complicit in approving it.”
Spanberger issued a statement denouncing the sign, calling it “racist” and “abhorrent,” but her tepid response hasn’t silenced critics who see this as part of a larger pattern of leftist intolerance.
Polls show momentum is shifting. What was once a comfortable 12-point lead for Spanberger in July has now shrunk to just five points, according to a Republican poll.
If she wins in November, Earle-Sears will make history as the nation’s first black female governor—a direct challenge to the left’s narrative that Republicans are hostile to minorities.
This race is shaping up to be a referendum not just on bathroom policies or school board extremism, but on the toxic culture of hatred coming from the far-left. With the support of high-profile donors, grassroots conservatives, and parents fed up with radical policies, Winsome Earle-Sears is proving that Virginia is ready to reject the Democrats’ divisive agenda and embrace true leadership.

CA Governor Gavin Newsom Hit with Shocking Charges:
The Justice Department under President Donald Trump is putting California’s far-left bureaucrats on notice, launching an investigation into the California Environmental Protection Agency (CalEPA) for what appears to be outright race-based hiring discrimination masquerading as “equity.”
In a blunt letter sent Wednesday, the DOJ called out CalEPA for potentially engaging in “employment practices that discriminate … based on race, color, sex, and national origin.” At the center of the probe is the agency’s radical “Practices to Advance Racial Equity in Workforce Planning,” which openly calls for applying a “racial equity lens” to every stage of hiring and staffing. The program even demands diversity quotas on interview panels “as much as possible,” a clear red flag for discrimination under federal law.
This move signals that the Trump administration isn’t afraid to take on California’s woke political establishment, which has turned state agencies into petri dishes for leftist ideology. Gov. Gavin Newsom, a Democrat and 2028 presidential hopeful, has made California a testing ground for radical social engineering, but Trump’s DOJ is hitting back.
While The Hill tried to downplay the significance of the probe, even it acknowledged that DOJ officials clearly see enough smoke to warrant a full-scale legal review. This isn’t the first time Trump has sparred with Newsom, either—Trump has relentlessly criticized California’s crime-ridden cities, sky-high taxes, and suffocating regulations that have forced residents and businesses to flee in droves.
The administration has already clashed with Newsom over his electric vehicle mandates and burdensome truck emissions rules, and now it’s dismantling the latest leftist experiment: Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) policies that prioritize skin color over skill and merit.
Assistant Attorney General Harmeet Dhillon minced no words in her warning: “Race-based employment practices and policies in America’s local and state agencies violate equal treatment under the law. Agencies that unlawfully use protected characteristics as a factor in employment and hiring risk serious legal consequences.”
The investigation comes on the heels of another major legal blow to Newsom’s regime. Just last week, Senior U.S. District Judge John Mendez—appointed by President George W. Bush—struck down two sweeping California censorship laws that sought to ban “AI-generated disinformation” in political ads. The laws were challenged by X, Rumble, and the Babylon Bee, and Mendez ruled that California cannot muzzle free speech under the guise of fighting “deepfakes.”

Murdoch’s media offensive has reportedly caused growing irritation among allies of both President Trump and Vice President Vance. One individual familiar with Vance’s perspective told Breitbart News that the attacks are part of a broader agenda by globalist forces to disrupt Trump’s plans for trade and diplomacy.
“Neocons have been screwing up U.S. foreign policy for decades and they’re furious that they have no foothold in this administration,” a source close to Vance told Breitbart News.

One editorial went so far as to accuse Vance of scheming for power beyond his vice presidency, running under the headline: “JD Vance Already Has an Eye on His Post-Vice Presidency.”
Last month, columnist Kimberley Strassel of the Journal wrote that “Vance criticizing Supreme Court Chief Justice John Roberts ‘Courts Trouble for Trump was ‘unhelpful to the administration,” according to Breitbart.

Four Alternative for Germany (AfD) candidates died “suddenly and unexpectedly” in Germany’s largest state, North Rhine-Westphalia, right before state elections. Anger and theories are running rife on social media about the sudden deaths of the AfD candidates.
“According to WDR, four AfD candidates who were not excluded have died immediately before the NRW municipal election: Blomberg, Rheinberg, Schwerte, Bad Lippspringe. Statistically almost impossible,” wrote Stefan Homburg in a post that received 1 million views.
In another post from Peter Borbe, he writes: “4 AfD candidates died within 2 weeks during the NRW local elections: Wolfgang Seitz (Rheinberg), Ralph Lange (Blomberg), Stefan Berendes (Bad Lippspringe), Wolfgang Klinger (Schwerte), all 4 died suddenly and unexpectedly. An astonishing accumulation of deaths, isn’t it?”
Despite concerns expressed on social media, not much is known about the circumstances of the deaths of the four candidates other than they died “unexpectedly,” which means none of them died from a long battle with cancer, for example.
As of yet, nobody has provided any evidence that the AfD candidates died from anything other than natural causes. In addition, there does not appear to have been any police investigations launched into the deaths of any four of the individuals.
However, in Germany’s polarized political environment, there is no surprise that AfD supporters are worried about the safety of their candidates.
The AfD party is, after all, the most attacked party in the country, including assaults and other forms of violence, according to official government statistics.
Local elections are set for Sept. 14, but the Welt newspaper reports that the latest death was from Ralph Lange, the AfD’s direct candidate for the Blomberg council, who “died unexpectedly,” according to WDR and the Lippische Landeszeitung, among other media outlets. A number of reports claim he was either 66 or 67 years old.
Other candidates were Wolfgang Seitz from Rheinberg, reportedly 59 years old, along with Wolfgang Klinger of Schwerte, reportedly 71 or 72 years old. Finally, Stefan Berendes of Bad Lippsringe passed away, at 59 years old.
Authorities are under pressure to print new ballots, and with elections quickly approaching, there are serious time constraints. In some of the affected districts, new ballots have already been sent out.
Some voters had already sent in mail-in ballots. These ballots will no longer be valid and they must vote again.
Welt writes, citing WDR, that “an AfD candidate (Wolfgang Klinger) in Schwerte (North Rhine-Westphalia, Arnsberg administrative district) and the 59-year-old AfD candidate Wolfgang Seitz in Rheinberg (North Rhine-Westphalia, Wesel district) also died ‘suddenly and unexpectedly’ almost two weeks ago.”
