Karine Jean-Pierre slammed for 'making a mockery of the First Amendment,' discriminating against reporters during White House briefing:
A White House press briefing this week erupted into a shouting match between reporters after press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre was slammed for "making a mockery of the First Amendment."
The press secretary was accused of discriminating against certain reporters during a briefing Monday with actors Jason Sudeikis and Hannah Waddingham, cast members of the show "Ted Lasso."
The actors, who attended the briefing to discuss mental health, awkwardly stood behind Jean-Pierre as Simon Ateba, Today News Africa chief White House correspondent, claimed that the press secretary had not allowed him to ask a question in seven months. He alleged that Jean-Pierre discriminated against him and other reporters.
"This is not China. This is not Russia. What you are doing, you're making a mockery of the First Amendment," Ateba said.
At one point, Jean-Pierre turned around to address the "Ted Lasso" cast members and stated, "Fun times, welcome, guys." She then asked Ateba if he was "going to behave."
After the "Ted Lasso" actors left the room, Ateba continued to press Jean-Pierre and claimed reporters toward the front of the room were offered more opportunities to ask questions than those seated in the back.
Other press corps members off camera urged Ateba to quiet down. One member said he was "tired of dealing" with his attitude, and another stated, "It's not just about you, Simon."
Another reporter spoke up over the chaos and said, "Don't make assumptions about what the rest of us do, mind your manners when you're in here, and if you have a problem, you bring it up afterward, but you are impinging on everybody in here who's only trying to do their job."
After the clash between reporters quieted down, Jean-Pierre addressed the incident stating, "As you know, this is the White House press briefing room. A historic room. A room that should have decorum. A room where folks should respect their colleagues and respect the guests that are here. And I understand that there's going to be give and take. That's the way the press briefing has gone for decades before me."
Associated Press reporter Zeke Miller later used a "point of personal privilege" to apologize on behalf of Ateba.
"I just wanted to express our apologies to the press corps, to the folks watching at home for the display you saw earlier. Our responsibility to them, we're here to ask questions on their behalf, to hold their government accountable, but they can't all be here. This isn't about us," Miller said.
Ateba fired back at Miller on Twitter, writing, "This @WhiteHouse Correspondent @ZekeJMiller for @AP is a disgrace to the First Amendment and journalism. He believes he's better than me. But he's not. He apologized to @PressSec Karine Jean-Pierre today for discriminating against me for seven months. In the past 7 months, as I sat behind him, I watched him him ask those questions at every press briefing, he became entitled, believing that he's better than those who get no questions. This is insane!"
According to Ateba, the press secretary has refused to meet with him until 2024, and he believes she is attempting to avoid his challenging questions.
Ateba and Jean-Pierre squabbled in November when he defended Daily Caller White House correspondent Diana Glebova for attempting to ask Dr. Anthony Fauci a "good question" about the origins of COVID.
Jean-Pierre scolded Glebova for shouting her question, stating, "I'm not calling out on people who yell."
Ateba intervened and told Jean-Pierre she needed to "call [on] people across the room."
"Simon, I'm done with you right now," Jean-Pierre replied.
In May 2022, Ateba similarly accused former press secretary Jen Psaki of failing to call on reporters in the back of the room.

Singer's Condition Highlighted After Recent Concert Postponement:
Bruce Springsteen's past health struggles have been revisited following the postponement of his supposed concert in Ohio. Nationwide Arena released a statement on Twitter confirming the postponement of Springsteen and The E Street Band's show at the venue on March 9 due to illness.
It did not disclose the exact issue and the identity of the band member who is currently sick. In the past months, several members of the band missed some shows due to COVID, including Soozie Tyrell, Jake Clemons, Nils Lofgren, and Steven Van Zandt. Although it remains unknown whether Springsteen or someone else has been afflicted, talks about the singer's past health issues reemerged. The 2023 tour marked Springsteen and the band's first performance since 2017. Before his comeback, Springsteen faced health issues that almost affected his career.
In an interview with Vanity Fair, Springsteen opened up about the throat surgery and depression he went through. For his throat surgery, he revealed that he had to receive an operation to fix the chronic numbness in his left side that affected him whenever he played the guitar. During the procedure, the doctors cut his throat open and tied his vocal cords temporarily so that they could insert the disc into his neck. To allow himself to recuperate, he stopped singing for three months. Although the surgery was "nerve-racking" for him, it was a successful one at the same time.
Meanwhile, he has also been very candid about his mental health struggles in the past years. In an interview with Esquire, he said that he experienced two emotional breakdowns when he was 32 and when he reached his 60s.

Hartford, Conn. - Amanda Bynes was forced to back out of a planned reunion with the All That cast at 90s Con due to an illness. Details on Bynes' condition are unclear. Rod Stewart was forced to cancel a concert in Australia at the last moment. According to The Guardian, Stewart took to social media to explain the reason for the cancellation and apologize to fans in Australia. "Hello my friends. I'm absolutely downhearted that I'm disappointing my fans who bought tickets to A Day On The Green," Stewart writes. "Late this morning I was advised that I have a viral infection and my throat is too irritated to sing. I'm only human and sometimes get sick just like you do," he continued. "My greatest joy is performing for you, so I'm doing everything I can to get on the mend and back on stage!" The 78-year-old singer was set to appear alongside Cindi Lauper and New Zealand's John Stevens at the show. His attempts to heal up likely coincide with his scheduled dates in Australia next week, appearing in Adelaide and Sydney among five other dates. His tour will then take him to New Zealand, Mexico, the U.S., Ireland, and then a return to the U.K. before heading to Spain. The gig cancellation was announced before Stewart's message, with Live Nation and Roundhouse Entertainment lamenting the poor turn of events. "We apologise for the disappointment and inconvenience to ticket holders," the statement read. "A further announcement regarding the concert arrangements will be made early next week."

Making the announcement via social media, the singer-songwriter revealed he’d been “incredibly” unwell in the afternoon on Tuesday, March 14. He then consulted a doctor who diagnosed him with acute vertigo. This diagnosis means the singer’s show will not be going ahead. The message read: “Hi everyone, unfortunately George has started feeling incredibly unwell this afternoon. He’s been diagnosed by a doctor as having acute vertigo and as a result we sincerely regret to announce that tonight’s show at the O2 in London will not be able to go ahead as planned."

No further updates regarding Jeno's health have been provided at this time, and it is unclear what symptoms he is experiencing.
Two Pop Groups Suddenly Cancel Major Concerts

Fans of a pair of South Korean boy bands
Fans of a pair of South Korean boy bands are in for more heartbreak than usual. Both CIX and TO1 have canceled major concerts in recent weeks for various reasons, with CIX pulling out of their planned concert in Mexico as part of their Save me, Kill me world tour and To1 canceling their upcoming performance at KCON 2023 Thailand.
CIX was scheduled to perform in Mexico on March 11. However, shortly before they were set to take the stage, MyMusicTaste confirmed the show would not go on as planned "due to organizers' internal issues." In a statement, MyMusicTaste said, per Soompi, "after further internal discussion, we regret to inform you that the CIX 2nd WORLD TOUR IN MEXICO on the following date has been cancelled... We wanted to provide a great concert for all fans and the members of CIX, but it was cancelled due to organizers' internal issues. We sincerely apologize for any inconveniences caused." The statement went on to apologize "for the sudden notice in regard to this matter and appreciate your understanding in relation to this cancellation." The band's scheduled performance in Washington, D.C. on Tuesday, March 14 went on without issue, with CIX next set to perform in Chicago on Thursday, March 16.
Just days after CIX canceled their performance in Mexico, TO1's agency WAKEONE Entertainment announced the group would no longer perform their scheduled stop at KCON 2023 Thailand, which is to be held on March 18 and 19. In a statement, WAKEONE Entertainment told fans, "we regret to inform you that the scheduled appearance of TO1 at KCON 2023 Thailand has been canceled due to unforeseen circumstances of TO1's agency. We sincerely apologize to all fans of TO1 who have been waiting for this performance."

5th plane on 9/11:
The captain of a United Airlines flight that was supposed to depart on the morning of September 11, 2001, believes his plane might have been meant to be part of the terrorist attacks that day. Yeah, a fifth plane.
This is an airline captain saying this – not some basement-dwelling blogger or Dollar Store conspiracy theorist or something.
In a TMZ special called "9/11: The Fifth Plane," Captain Tom Mannello shares his suspicions about his Flight 23, a Boeing 767 scheduled to depart JFK Airport for L.A. at 9 a.m.
According to Mannello, two box cutters were found in the first-class seat pockets of a plane parked next to Flight 23 – which had a tail number one digit off. He thinks that the people behind the attacks may have simply made a mistake and put the box cutters on the wrong plane.
But there's more...
Flight attendants on Flight 23 also shared their suspicions about four passengers in first class, including a person dressed in a hijab they believe was actually a man pretending to be a woman.
A cross-dressing Muslim in a hijab? That's not a thing that happens. 🚩
And there was an odd scene that played out in first class with the shady looking individuals:
Four passengers in first class aroused suspicion shortly after they boarded. The flight attendants say one of the passengers was a man disguised as a woman. The purser [first class flight attendant] tells us those passengers did not eat meat, and there were only 2 fruit plates in the galley. She wanted to get more fruit plates so the passengers could eat, and it triggered a heated argument ... with one of the passengers insisting, "We do not want to eat. We don't need food. We want to take off ... We just want to go."
Flight attendant Sandy Thorngren also recalls a man in business class appearing very nervous and sweating profusely, which she noted as quite strange: "It was odd because it was 8 o'clock in the morning, and airplanes are cold anyway, but it was a cool morning."
Captain Mannello says he was about to take off, unaware of what was happening in Manhattan, when air traffic control ordered all flights back to their gates for a mass evacuation.
Then for some unexplainable reason, 20 minutes after passengers and crew members had left the plane, witnesses on the ground saw two uniformed individuals running through the passenger cabin. Authorities later found an opened floor hatch, which led from the cabin to the belly of the plane. Mannello believes the two people might have been searching for the box cutters found on the neighboring plane.
The FBI interviewed the flight attendants and took them to a lineup at the Port Authority to see if they could identify the suspicious first-class passengers. However, Flight 23 wasn't mentioned in the 9/11 Commission's report.
Flight 23's crew thinks they might have faced a similar fate as the four planes that were hijacked and downed on that fateful and awful day.
"There is a good chance that somebody was plotting to try to use our airplane as a weapon of mass destruction," Captain Mannello said.

Other translations say "those who trust in Thee" which is not the same thing to me. Young's Literal Translation is "An imagination supported Thou fortifiest peace - peace! For in Thee it is confident.". Or in English, "the steadfast imagination Thou wilt keep in perfect peace." I like that word "imagination" instead of just "mind".
Every night I can pick up Psalm 63 and sink my head in David's words which are quite imaginative.

In my imagination, I can escape earth. I can mentally transport out of my body to a bible in orbit high above earth where I see myself small and weak from not fasting as I should, not confessing as I should, not praying as I should, with a head too big for my shoulders, eyes too big for the world, a mouth too quick to be glib, and ears too quick to listen to foolish talk and tv. Way up there I can be more objective, outside myself, looking down.
Seeing North America and Europe below I can also see more clearly how we have abandoned God violating all his commandments:

Yes, we do have laws against murder and hate, adultery, theft, and misinformation (bearing false witness) but we are making those things seem attractive in our media and entertainment. And weak politicians let people get away with it.
I would rather stay up there, high above the earth, with God, his saints and angels...and let men judge me insane for not being well-adjusted to such a sick world. But my brothers and sisters in Christ want to pray for, not lament for, the faithless cities on earth. And angels are still in charge of cities with lukewarm pastors, frozen chosen congregations, and compromising prophets. So, I am called to support the ranks of persecuted believers. Heavenly ranks must descend with cargoes of bibles, food, and weapons to defeat the strongholds over many nations. Like paratroopers in shining white uniforms, we will land and live or die in the battle for the planet. Some of us will take up our "cover" jobs, and blend into the bland landscape, ministering love and care as we go. We know that God will bless those who bless us and curse those who curse us. We are the children of Abraham, inheritors of millennia of struggle. And so we sing the thousand-year-old battle song of Celtic Christians who saved civilization while they spread the gospel.

More than HALF (56.3%) of liberal white women aged 18-29 have been diagnosed with a mental health condition. That's more than DOUBLE the percentage (27.3%) of conservative white women in the same age bracket.
Not self-diagnosed, like people do on Instagram, but actually diagnosed by a medical professional as having a mental health disorder.
What could possibly explain such a huge number of young, white, liberal women having clinical mental health issues? And what could explain the vast disparity between those women and their young, white, conservative counterparts?

Our carbon footprints will shrink because our human footprints will! Message to planners: don't worry about population growth unless globalists keep moving nations around.
The number of births registered in Japan plummeted to another record low last year – the latest worrying statistic in a decades-long decline that the country's authorities have failed to reverse despite their extensive efforts.
The country saw 799,728 births in 2022, the lowest number on record and the first ever dip below 800,000, according to statistics released by the Ministry of Health on Tuesday. That number has nearly halved in the past 40 years; by contrast, Japan recorded more than 1.5 million births in 1982.
Japan also reported a record high for post-war deaths last year, at more than 1.58 million.
That is, to put it mildly, concerning. But it's not just Japan.
Recent findings have shed light on the fact that population growth on a global scale is slowing down significantly. A projection from the United Nations indicates that the world population will hit its peak, estimated at roughly 10 billion, around 2086, and slowly decrease after that. Other models say the peak will be reached around 2060 at around 9 billion people, and then decline more quickly.
Some say there will be fewer humans on Planet Earth at the end of this century than there are now.
The UN predicts that the population of the US will reach its peak close to the end of the century, at around 380 million, which is consistent with the Congressional Budget Office's projections.
These projections completely contradict the hair-on-fire "Population Bomb" predictions made last century, which predicted massive global over-population leading to worldwide apocalypse.

The critical metric for population growth is the average number of children women are having at any particular time, known as the fertility rate. Other factors, such as childhood survival and longevity, also affect population growth, but the fertility rate is the big driver. It takes a fertility rate of 2.1 children per woman to maintain a stable population, known as the "replacement rate." Anything above that and the population will grow and below that it falls. [In 1968] the fertility rate was stunningly high at 5. That astronomical rate would go on to cause the world population to double just 40 years later. But what was not apparent to the author at the time was that the fertility rate had peaked about five years earlier at 5.3. That began a steady slide downward to 2.3 today, just barely above the replacement rate.
Obviously, a decline of the world population will provoke major problems as the planet's infrastructure will become unsustainable.
Economic collapse, permanent recession, an abundance of elderly people relying on increasingly fewer younger people for care and sustenance, implosion of entitlement/welfare programs, ghost cities, diminished militaries, regional conflicts ... the list goes on.
Population decline is an issue our children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren will have to deal with. It's high time our world leaders address this looming catastrophe, and find solutions, before its too late.

A strong feature anyone can appreciate is that you decide if want your search run on the Pre-search engine or your choice of several external engines, including Google and DuckDuckGo. It’s all customizable which is something you can’t do with any other search engine that I’m aware of. Pre-search is based in Ontario Canada, which may cause concern due to Canada’s continuing slide toward totalitarian Fascism.
SwissCows is a well-respected search engine with solid privacy policies. Being based in Switzerland makes them safe from American or EU interference. Their top selling point is their family-friendly approach to search results. You won’t see any porn or other sexual content, which is great if you have children but potentially annoying if you live alone. Also at the moment they are collecting money to help Ukraine, a nation that is at least partially controlled by neo-Nazi’s and is currently at war with Russia. That’s a deal breaker for me.
DuckDuckGo is a popular choice based in the United States, but I don't recommend it. While most review sites give them a thumbs up, over the years there have been many questions raised about just how honest the company is. They also have business agreements with Apple, Amazon, and Microsoft, none of which are known for protecting privacy or human rights. The website Techrights.org has an entire page on why no one should be using DuckDuckGo. Read it and then decide for yourself. In 2022 DuckDuckGo made the controversial decision to begin filtering search results to block or downplay information from Russia. Many free-speech advocates said they would leave DuckDuckGo because of this new policy.

I just heard an excerpt from something called the Full Send Podcast, in which the guest was Tucker Carlson.
He sure seems to be figuring things out.
It is one of the purposes of the media to cultivate a range of allowable opinion that is safe for the existing regime. Anything outside that range is by definition “extremist,” “bigoted,” etc.
For instance, you can favor whatever crazed military intervention the uniparty engages in, no matter how transparently self-serving the alleged rationale, no matter how many millions of people are killed or displaced, and that is not extremist at all. No problemo. Why, if Mitt Romney and Chuck Schumer both favor it, it must be wonderful!
But if you think there might be something wrong with this, that there’s something weird or sinister about the bipartisan apparatus that supports this crap, or the propaganda that tricks poorly read conservatives into thinking that cheering for the empire is the patriotic thing to do, then you are the extremist, dear reader.
If you think adults ought to be able to discuss important issues without being silenced by self-appointed experts who can’t seem to get their own story straight, then you are the extremist.
Anyway, it’s encouraging to see a person with a huge audience figuring this out.
“I’ve spent my whole life in the media,” said Carlson. “My dad was in the media. That is a big part of the revelation that’s changed my life: the media are part of the control apparatus.”
“Not only are they part of the problem,” he continued, “but I spent most of my life being part of the problem, defending the Iraq war. I actually did that…. I’ve had a million regrets not being more skeptical, calling people names when I should have listened to what they were saying…. For too long I participated in the culture where I was like, anyone who thinks outside these pre-prescribed lanes is crazy, is a conspiracy theorist [emphasis added]. And I just really regret that.
The media, concluded Carlson, are “not here to inform you. Even on the big things that really matter, like the economy and war and COVID…their job is not to inform you. They are working for the small group of people who actually run the world. They’re their servants. They’re their praetorian guard. And we should treat them with maximum contempt because they have earned it.”
Boom.
So, if you want the truth, you need to find it yourself.
The educational establishment plays the same role as the media: it keeps its audience confined to a pre-established range of ideas.
