Government Shuts Down After Lawmakers Fail to Reach Funding Deal

Republicans ask for a simple, short-term spending extension while Democrats seek extensive changes in health care funding.


After the Senate failed to secure a supermajority for the White House-backed funding bill, White House Office of Management and Budget Director Russ Vought on Sept. 30 ordered federal officials to begin executing “their plans for an orderly shutdown.”

Earlier this week, Vought directed agencies to prepare plans for layoffs in the event of a shutdown.

Judy Note: It is my personal opinion, and I could easily be wrong, that when we hear the EBS go off with the sound of Seven Trumpets, we can soon expect to receive several messages on our cell phones generated from the new Starlink Satellite System.

 

One of those messages should contain information about how to gain a redemption center appointment. Those who don’t have foreign currency to exchange will use their appointment to set themselves up for banking, med bed treatment and voting using personal cell phones linked up to the Starlink Satellite System, while we with currency and bonds will do the same, plus be able to do our exchange.

1. Good weekend. They (the banks) started paying people on Friday in 10 different areas.

2. They also paid people on Saturday.

3. On Sunday, they called their people and put them on hold. They were told the exchange would begin in the afternoon.
