Jews Are Leaving Israel - Why?
èISRAEL
More Jews are leaving Israel than Arriving
A recent report highlights a growing concern in Israel: increasing numbers of Israelis are choosing to leave the country, continuing a trend that has grown since Oct 7, 2023. The reasons are complex, including the impact of war, security concerns, economic pressures, and uncertainty about the future.
Will the Church Stand in the Gap?
This moment should awaken the Church to pray and act. Israel’s story is not only a matter of politics or geography—it is connected to God’s covenant purposes and His heart for the Jewish people. As believers, we are called to stand with Israel, not only in times of celebration but also in times of difficulty.
Join the Altar of Prayer (24/7 global prayer for Aliyah) as we pray for strength, hope, and renewal for those living in Israel. Pray that families will find reasons to stay, that young people will see a future in the land, and that the Jewish people will continue to build and flourish in their ancestral homeland.
At the same time, we must support those whom God is calling to return through Aliyah. The answer to uncertainty is not abandonment, but a renewed commitment to build, serve, and strengthen the nation.
This is a moment for the Church to arise—to intercede, encourage, and partner with God’s purposes for Israel and the Jewish people. May our prayers and actions help strengthen those already in the land and welcome those who are returning home.

God's Testing Can Be Complex (Torah Moment)
How do we know if we are facing an attack from the enemy or a test from God? In this week’s Torah portion from Deuteronomy, Israel is reminded that God allows tests to reveal what is truly in our hearts and whether we love Him wholeheartedly. Not every challenge is a battle against us; sometimes it is an opportunity for God to strengthen our faith and refine our devotion. This week’s teaching explores how we can recognize these moments and what it means to love what God loves. Click the link to read and watch more.

Calgary-Area Farm Restoring Soil Health Through Regenerative Agriculture
èPMA
SUNDRE, Alta.—The bleating of grazing sheep, the clucking of free-ranging chickens, the lowing of cows, and the snorting of rooting pigs greet visitors to a Calgary-area farm where producing natural food supports rebuilding healthy soil.
Every grazing rotation, movable fence, and pasture is part of a broader philosophy that treats flourishing soil as the foundation of a healthy farm—and healthy people.
It’s an approach known as regenerative agriculture, which emphasizes practices that improve soil health, increase biodiversity, and work with natural ecosystems. As interest in sustainable farming grows, producers are adopting regenerative techniques in hopes of building more resilient farms.
èPMA-1
Joell and Nicole Friesen have operated the 56-hectare (140-acre) Ear to the Earth Farm near Sundre, Alta., northwest of Calgary, since 2022. They describe themselves as regenerative, all-natural, nutrient-dense food growers.
They say their agricultural work has been blessed since they began farming in 2009, and the farm’s name is inspired by a passage from the Book of Job. One of their goals is also to help people connect with God through creation.
“We never thought we would be doing this, so I think it’s much bigger than what [we] could imagine,” Nicole Freisen told The Epoch Times in an interview.
èPMA-2
Farming Journey Begins
The Friesens’s farming journey began in 2009, when they volunteered on an agricultural project in Senegal, West Africa. Although that project ended after six months, they spent the next 11 years managing crops and livestock on another farm while learning regenerative farming practices.
They returned to Canada in 2020, with the belief that God was calling them home to help address concerns about food and health. Friends later offered them the free use of 140 acres near Sundre through a land-sharing agreement, allowing them to establish Ear to the Earth Farm.
“We were at the Lord’s mercy,” Nicole said, noting that the partnership reflects how the early Christian community operated, with those who had resources selling their possessions and giving the proceeds to those in need.
Joell Friesen said their friends didn’t have the means, knowledge, time or ability to use the land as intended, but “they’ve entrusted us as partners and as friends to do that with them.”
èPMA-3
Regenerative Practices
After securing the land, the Friesens began building their farming operation, with a focus on regenerative agriculture.
Regenerative agriculture uses multi-species crops—including cover crops and mulch—and livestock to manage the land, improve soil health, return carbon to the soil, and create a holistic ecosystem that requires little tillage or chemical inputs, Joell said. Conversely, organic farming uses monoculture crops that must be tilled regularly.
The couple used tilling to start their gardens before switching to other practices—such as using plastic ground sheets and fermented foliar sprays to suppress weeds.
Speaking about the health benefits of regenerative practices, Nicole noted that the human body contains billions of microbes, and researchers have found that feeding the soil healthy nutrients helps build a healthy gut.
èPMA-4
But these systems had to be built from the ground up, and through trial and error. During their first year, the carrot tops were barely visible beneath the weeds that overtook the gardens, Joell said. After refining their farming methods, however, they have not experienced anything like it since those early days.
Nicole compared the process to a Bible verse in the Book of Job (Job 12:7–10) that encourages people to learn from creation.
“We’re looking and listening around us—What is working and what’s not working,” she added. “It’s asking good questions.”
èPMA-5

Animal Contributions
The Friesens say regenerative farming also helped to address soil depletion in their pastures, after the previous owners had allowed their horses to overgraze.
The couple prevents their small herd of cows from overgrazing by moving them regularly, giving the animals time to leave behind urine and manure, Joell said. This also ensures the animals eat just the tops of grasses, giving the land time to rest and regrow.
The couple keeps a handful of Jersey dairy cows for family use and raises Australian Lowline Angus cattle, a smaller-framed breed well suited to the size of their acreage. Joell said the breed allows them to produce more meat per acre than larger, traditional beef breeds.
The Friesens also raise cattle, pigs, sheep, poultry, and laying hens, while selling vegetables and eggs directly to restaurants, stores and families.
Nicole said the chickens have significantly more flavour than commercially raised birds and are more nutrient-dense, which she believes helps people feel satisfied sooner and eat less.
èPMA-6
Supporting Communities
Hundreds of small, sustainable regenerative farms are required to supply big cities like Calgary, similar to how small farms supported Paris, France, in the 1800s, Nicole said. Since Ear to the Earth supports roughly 100 families annually, she said it “would be huge” if other farms did the same.
This approach also allows people to meet the farmers, learn where their food comes from, and how it’s grown or raised, eliminate the middle man and create greater transparency, she continued.
“We want people to see that you can actually do this,” Nicole said.
èPMA-7
Despite the long hours and demanding workload, the Friesens say they enjoy the variety of projects on the farm, spending time outdoors, and the flexibility their work provides.
“Also building on that diversity is the fact that we’re delivering real food to real customers,” added Mr. Friesen. “That’s such a huge pleasure to be able to be part of God’s literal hands and feet on this little area.”

NYC first lady plans Syria, Lebanon trip
— and the mayor's office wants NYPD officers to go with her
èNYC
By
New York City First Lady Rama Duwaji is planning a trip to Syria and Lebanon, both countries the U.S. State Department tells Americans not to visit, and Mayor Zohran Mamdani's office says taxpayer-funded NYPD officers should accompany her.
Duwaji, the 29-year-old Syrian-American wife of Mayor Mamdani, intends to leave for the two countries on September 20 to "visit family," according to a statement from mayoral spokesperson Dora Pekec. The spokesperson said the first lady's security detail would join her "upon the strong recommendation of the NYPD." But the NYPD itself quickly contradicted that claim, telling the New York Post early Tuesday that no officers would be making the trip.
Both Syria and Lebanon sit on the State Department's Level 4 "Do Not Travel" list, the highest warning the department issues, reserved for countries where conditions pose direct danger to American citizens. The NYPD's own policy bars sending officers to Level 4 countries for non-investigative, discretionary reasons. And a source familiar with the security detail said the trip has nothing to do with city business.
Mamdani's office says the NYPD recommended it, the NYPD says otherwise
The contradiction between the mayor's office and the police department is stark and, so far, unresolved. Pekec's statement framed the security detail as the NYPD's own idea:
"Upon the strong recommendation of the NYPD, [the First Lady's security] detail will be joining her when she travels to visit family in Syria and Lebanon."
Hours later, an NYPD spokesperson issued a flat denial:
"The NYPD does not send officers to countries with level four travel advisories for discretionary reasons not linked to investigative work."
The spokesperson added a second statement to remove any ambiguity:
"This is not an investigative trip, and therefore, NYPD personnel will not be traveling there for it."
No one in the mayor's office has explained which NYPD official or unit allegedly made the "strong recommendation" that Pekec cited. The mayor's office offered no further comment on the trip's details or whether the purpose extended beyond visiting family. Whether the trip will proceed without NYPD protection, or whether the administration will press the department to reverse course, remains an open question.
A source with knowledge of the trip put it bluntly: "It's not official business. It's not doing anything for the city."
Dov Hikind warns officers would face danger as "the bad guys"
Dov Hikind, the former Brooklyn Assemblyman who founded Americans Against Antisemitism, opposed the idea of sending New York police officers into countries he described as active conflict zones. Hikind did not mince words about the risk to officers or about Duwaji's own reception in the region:
"We're putting the police officers in danger. They will be viewed as the bad guys. These are war zones."
Hikind went further, arguing that Duwaji herself would face no threat:
"Duwaji doesn't need security. She will get a hero's welcome and be protected by Hezbollah, Hamas and the Houthis."
Hamas and the Houthis are designated foreign terrorist organizations under U.S. law, and Hezbollah carries the same designation. Hikind's claim about Duwaji's reception reflects a broader pattern of criticism directed at the first lady over her public statements and social media activity regarding Israel and Palestinian causes. The mayor has faced his own scrutiny over controversies touching on antisemitism and foreign media relationships.
A long trail of anti-Israel posts and activist ties
Duwaji, who describes herself as a "Syrian Illustrator" on her website, is the daughter of Syrian Muslim parents originally from Damascus. Her public record includes a series of social media posts that have drawn sustained criticism since Mamdani entered office.
In 2015, Duwaji posted on social media that Tel Aviv "shouldn't exist in the first place" and called its residents "occupiers." Two years before that, as a teenager, she used a racial slur in a separate social media post.
After the October 7, 2023 Hamas terror attacks against Israel, Duwaji reportedly curated Spotify playlists featuring anti-Israel lyrics. She was also caught liking celebratory Instagram posts following the assault, including one that claimed rapes committed by Hamas were a "mass hoax." The Mamdani administration has drawn repeated criticism over its posture toward Israel, including the mayor's reported effort to find a legal basis to arrest Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu during a United Nations visit.
In April, Duwaji issued an apology for the "hurt" caused by what were described as alarming social media posts, but she did not directly express regret for her Israel-related content. Mayor Mamdani has described his wife as a "private person" who should not face a spotlight over her social media activity.
That characterization sits uneasily alongside Duwaji's public activist work. She created artwork for the New York City chapter of the Democratic Socialists of America for a campaign called "PalestineOnTheBallot.com," which pushed political candidates to reject funding from the American Israel Public Affairs Committee and to support a bill known as the "Not on Our Dime Act", legislation that would punish or dissolve registered charities found to support Israeli settler violence. The campaign was part of a broader Democratic socialist effort to elevate candidates critical of Israel.
Overseas retreats, missed celebrations, and no NYPD in sight
The planned Syria-Lebanon trip is not Duwaji's first recent international travel. Last month, she traveled overseas without NYPD protection, a detail that raises its own question about why the mayor's office now insists the department "strongly recommended" officers accompany her to two far more dangerous destinations.
That earlier trip included co-hosting a pro-Palestinian all-female spiritual retreat on the French island of Corsica, organized by Parisian designer Rym Nur through a Muslim-and-women-focused travel group called Women Sanctuary. Duwaji also attended a Women Sanctuary retreat on the Spanish island of Mallorca as an "artist-in-residence" at a sold-out "Plants Of The Quran" workshop. She reportedly missed America's 250th anniversary celebrations to attend.
Mamdani himself has drawn scrutiny for his conduct around sensitive national commemorations. He skipped the 1993 World Trade Center bombing memorial before seeking a role in 9/11 observances.
Duwaji's 2019 residency at the Haven for Artists in Beirut, Lebanon, an organization that describes itself as a cultural feminist group "at the intersection of art and activism", shows her ties to the region predate her husband's political career. Her parents' roots in Damascus provide a personal connection to Syria.
Taxpayer accountability questions the mayor's office won't answer
The mayor's office has not disclosed how many NYPD officers would be assigned to the detail, what the cost to New York City taxpayers would be, or which specific cities in Syria and Lebanon Duwaji plans to visit. The administration's broader governance approach, including purging business leaders from the Mayor's Fund advisory board, has already raised questions about transparency and accountability.
The direct conflict between the mayor's office and the NYPD remains the central unanswered question. Either the NYPD recommended the security detail and then publicly denied it, or the mayor's office invoked the department's name to justify a decision the NYPD never endorsed. Neither explanation reflects well on the Mamdani administration.
Separately, the administration has faced scrutiny over a taxpayer-funded video targeting a Jewish landlord, adding to a pattern of controversies that touch on how public resources are deployed and who benefits.
New Yorkers foot the bill for their mayor's security apparatus. They deserve a straight answer about whether their police officers are being volunteered for a personal trip to two countries the U.S. government says Americans should not visit, and who, exactly, made that call.

A new structure is popping up across the United States, and most of us have never heard the name of it. The massive compound is called a frontier AI data center, a term coined as a legal category by the Biden administration in January 2025, and it represents nothing less than an unprecedented computer empire. A typical data center is the warehouse of the internet, with rows and rows of computers that store emails and photos, and stream movies. A frontier AI data center is much bigger, hungrier, and has a life of its own. Specifically, it is a fortress of specialized chips built solely to train the most powerful AI systems in existence. One frontier AI data center consumes as much electricity as a mid-sized city, while it drinks millions of gallons of water to cool its processors. These structures do not care about “climate change” or pleasing the neighbors. No, indeed, they are among the most resource-intensive structures ever built...

Aug 12, the only time that the Planets line up, a Solar Eclipse, a Meteor Shower AND.... See #1-A
... it was on this day in 3114 BCE that the Mesoamerican Long Count calendar was allegedly and/or mythically created. On this day, "Raised-up-Sky-Lord caused three stones to be set by associated gods at Lying-Down-Sky, First-Three-Stone-Place." It gets even more incomprehensible from there, although perhaps less so for really, really old Mayans. For all who prefer the long-count calendar, may your sky be raised to reveal the sun.
You don't have to read this long Wikipedia web page to realize that it would take too long to explain to people the dating methods used before 2012. I copied and pasted one brief description. The most interesting fact is that the ancient calendars all started at the time of the Great Flood.

Despite the publicity generated by the 2012 date, Susan Milbrath, curator of Latin American Art and Archaeology at the Florida Museum of Natural History, stated that "We have no record or knowledge that [the Maya] would think the world would come to an end" in 2012.[64] USA Today writes "'For the ancient Maya, it was a huge celebration to make it to the end of a whole cycle,' says Sandra Noble, executive director of the Foundation for the Advancement of Mesoamerican Studies in Crystal River, Florida. To render December 21, 2012, as a doomsday event or moment of cosmic shifting, she says, is 'a complete fabrication and a chance for a lot of people to cash in.'"[64] "There will be another cycle," says E. Wyllys Andrews V, director of the Tulane University Middle American Research Institute (MARI). "We know the Maya thought there was one before this, and that implies they were comfortable with the idea of another one after this."[65]

NASA SCIENTIST SAYS HE BUILT REAL ANTI GRAVITYDr. Charles Buhler spent years running NASA’s electrostatics lab. Now his private company claims they’ve created a drive that pushes against gravity using nothing but electricity.
No fuel. No exhaust. No rockets. Just electric fields that create a steady push.
They ran almost 2,000 tests inside vacuum chambers. The force showed up again and again. In some tests it even kept pushing after they turned the power off.
By 2023 the thrust was strong enough to lift the whole test device against Earth’s gravity.
Buhler says this is the same idea Thomas Townsend Brown was chasing back in the 1920s–1950s.
He’s also talked about seeing UFOs as a kid in Brewster, New York in the mid-1980s and another close one near Cocoa Beach around 2013.
If this works, it looks a lot like the silent, fuel-free flight people have reported from UAPs for decades.
Maybe the technology non human intelligence already uses is starting to show up in a Florida lab.
