Joe Biden doesn’t have many people in his corner. He can’t afford to be pushing anyone away.
But the White House decided to enrage Democrats with one surprising backstab.
Everyone has seen the polls. Biden is losing to Trump and is even losing traction with his own party.
Part of the precipitous downfall is the fact that he refuses to stand firm on almost any subject.
He’s too busy apologizing for calling an illegal immigrant murderer an “illegal” or declaring Easter as “Transgender Day of Visibility” instead.
The result? Both Republicans and Democrats don’t trust him to make the right decision or stick to his guns.
It’s only ever pandering for political points and photo ops.
And now, many on the Left are feeling betrayed because his own administration is defending a key ally.
During an interview on Sunday, White House National Security Communications Advisor John Kirby stated that the US government has seen no evidence that Israel violated international law in carrying out its war against Hamas inside Gaza.
Kirby made the remarks on CBS News’ “Face The Nation” with Margaret Brennan, six months after Hamas carried out an unparalleled terrorist attack on October 7.
“We have a normal process the State Department runs and governs, where they take a look at incidents, particularly those that are being- operations being conducted by partner countries,” Kirby said. “And they look at them and they assess them against international law. And they’re doing that in real-time, Margaret. So, some of them may have looked at and concluded, some they’re still looking at it.”
“Thus far, as I said the other day, we’ve not seen any indication they have violated international humanitarian law,” Kirby continued. “But we take this seriously. They take it seriously at the State Department. And we’ll keep looking at this.”

The piece follows the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) announcement on Friday that it accepted “full responsibility” for an airstrike that killed seven World Central Kitchen (WCK) relief workers in Gaza.
The strike occurred on Monday during an operation to transfer humanitarian aid from the WCK to the Gaza Strip, according to an IDF statement issued after an independent investigation into the incident by the Joint Chiefs of Staff’s Fact-Finding and Assessment Mechanism (FFAM).
While the cars in which the WCK workers were going were correctly marked, the IDF inquiry discovered that the markings were not visible to the cameras monitoring them because the mission occurred at night.
IDF Spokesperson Rear Admiral Daniel Hagari stated that “significant measures” were promptly implemented to prevent similar incidents from occurring in the future.
“This is a tragedy. It was a terrible chain of errors, and it should never have happened,” Hagari said. “The IDF takes full responsibility for this regrettable loss of life.”
But for many on the Left with sympathy towards Hamas, it doesn’t matter if Israel never killed a civilian.
Why? Because they don’t think they have the right to exist to begin with. And with Biden’s advisor coming to defense of Israel, it will likely only hurt Biden’s chances at courting his own voters.

Since the 2020 elections, conservatives have been vocal about the difference in treatment of Republicans during a Democrat administration. Recent documents found in possession of former President Trump and current President Biden have been handled with vast differences by the FBI and the media. This difference between the treatment of Republicans vs. Democrats by the current Democrat administration and liberal media became the topic of a recent broadcast of Fox News’s “The Five”.
Fox News host Jesse Watters is frustrated with the fact that it appears that no matter what people do against conservatives there is rarely punishment. A recent episode of “The Five” on Thursday saw Watters going nuclear on the lack of Democrat bureaucrats and officeholders who have been arrested. The panel on the show was talking about the first hearing on the House Select Subcommittee on the Weaponization of the Federal Government as Republicans want to prove that the government has been targeting conservatives.
The host spoke about Republican Iowa Sen. Chuck Grassley saying that he received FBI “whistleblower disclosures” that claimed to have “voluminous evidence with the respect to potentially criminal conduct” by both President Joe Biden’s son Hunter and brother James. The senator said that the information he has shown that President Biden knew of his son’s business dealings and “may have been involved in some of them.”
“And no one’s even talking about it!” the host said. “You wanna know why? Because everybody already knows that! Everybody already knows all of this stuff! So, what is the endgame here? We get screwed, then we have a hearing,” he said. “Nothing happens. We get screwed again. We have a hearing. Nothing happens.”
The implications of the information found on Hunter Biden’s laptop have as yet not been formally investigated and addressed legally, so there have been no charges against the Biden family members. But others are calling for action.
For instance, recently a Louisiana Republican member of the House strongly suggested that former Twitter executives may face arrest during a combative hearing on Wednesday.
“You, ladies and gentlemen, interfered in the United States of America 2020 presidential election,” admonished Rep. Clay Higgins in a viral video clip posted to social media. “Knowingly and willingly. That’s the bad news, it’s gonna get worse. Because this is the investigation part. Later comes the arrest part.”He added: “Your attorneys are familiar with that. Mr. Chairman, I’d like to spend five hours with these ladies and gentlemen doing depositions that are surely yet to come, but for right now, I yield the balance of my time.”

Then, as the segment of “The Five” continued, Watters spoke about FBI Director Christopher Wray, who was picked by former President Donald Trump after he fired former FBI Director James Comey, and how, if elected in 2024, Trump would have a tough time replacing Wray. This led to a heated exchange between the panel members, which completely frustrated Watters.

“Trump gets elected,” the host said. “What’s he gonna, go in there and fire Chris Wray? Last time anybody did that, he got impeached for it, and he got a special counsel down his throat.” The implication was that impeachment against Trump was for firing Comey, which was not the reason formally indicated in the impeachments.
“So, we have an FBI dictatorship here. You either fire him and die or you can’t touch him, and you still die,” the host said. “I’m sick of these hearings,” he said. “Make me feel better, guys. Tell me this is going somewhere. Can I throw someone in prison? Can someone go to jail, can someone get fined?”
His co-host Jeanine Pirro said that she believed that there is not “an objective Department of Justice.”

Pentagon can’t force Starlink to Block Service to Russians, US official says:
US is “taking steps” and “working through” the problem with SpaceX and Ukraine, space-policy leader says.
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colorado—As new details come to light about Russia’s use of Starlink satellite terminals, a top Pentagon official said the Defense Department can’t force SpaceX to cut service to the invaders—say, by creating a whitelist for Ukrainian troops’ terminals.
“I don't think that DOD is in a position to make them do these things, so I'll just say that. I'm aware of Ukraine's concerns, working through it with both Ukraine and Starlink,” said John Plumb, assistant defense secretary for space policy.
Russian forces have been using Starlink inside Ukraine, Defense One previously reported, compromising the advantage Ukraine once had. Now, the Wall Street Journal has detailed how Starlink is sold through “a shadowy supply chain” and makes its way to Russian forces and other U.S. foes.
Starlink is a commercial product, and Russia has no problem trying to buy things through the black market, Plumb told reporters Wednesday at the 2024 Space Symposium.
Various actors’ efforts to obtain and use Starlink is “something we just have to bake in and understand. And make no mistake, the reason it's this thing is because it's so effective,” he said.
SpaceX officials have previously said that the company does no business with Russia, that the Starlink service does not work there.
Some lawmakers have probed SpaceX on Russia’s illegal acquisition of Starlink, questioning whether the company has implemented enough safeguards to prevent Russia from using the communications service against Ukraine.
Asked whether SpaceX is doing enough to mitigate the use of Starlink by malign actors, Plumb repeated, "I think they're a great partner."
The Pentagon is working with Ukraine and SpaceX “to provide the services that Ukraine needs and prevent Russian forces from using this…certainly without licenses, and certainly not at the behest of the country at which they're invading, for goodness sake. So we're working on it, making some progress, and after that, it gets classified,” Plumb said.
The Defense Department is “taking steps” to deal with the threat, Air Force Secretary Frank Kendall said today. “There are bad actors out there who will take a capability like Starlink and misdirect it. I've been seeing some things in the press about the black market, basically, for Starlink terminals, so the people who are directly responsible for enforcing those things, and so, are acting on this. I'm confident of that, but I can't give any more information about where we are."

Unless you’re a hardcore Leftist, it’s hard to doubt just how awful Joe Biden’s presidency has been so far.
Rampant inflation, rising gas prices, a disastrous border crisis, and poor foreign policy decisions have led to Biden having the worst presidency since former Democrat President Jimmy Carter.
And Americans seem to agree according to a new Gallup poll.
The poll shows that compared to four years ago, less Americans believe that Biden is capable of performing the duties of commander-in-chief.
39% believe that Biden is able to “manage the government effectively,” 48% believe that he “cares about the needs of people like you,” and 46% believe that he “is honest and trustworthy,” according to the Gallup survey.
In September of 2020, Gallup ran the same poll and those results showed that at the time 52% felt that Biden could “manage the government effectively.”
That’s a 13% difference which isn’t anything to sneeze at.
At the time of Gallup’s first poll in 2020, Biden had yet to win the presidential election and Americans and the world were in the midst of the COVID pandemic panic.
Americans felt like Biden would help return the country into a sense of normalcy, but that couldn’t have been further from the truth.
Approximately a year later in August of 2021, President Biden oversaw the botched withdrawal from Afghanistan which left 13 U.S. service members killed.
The nation’s southern border with Mexico has also basically been left wide open for illegal aliens to flood American cities thanks to the Biden administration.
And who can forget or put aside the soaring inflation and high gas prices that Americans have struggled with under Biden’s watch.
It’s easy to see why just 39% trust the president’s ability to manage the government.
U.S. citizens have also probably started to lose faith with Biden thanks to the multitude of gaffes he commits when speaking.
Those gaffes are likely attributed to his poor mental acuity which has come into question in recent years.
The president has been known to switch up the names of world leaders and often times seems confused when appearing in public.
So this latest Gallup poll, as well as presidential election polls that show Joe Biden trailing former President Donald Trump, should serve as nothing but a massive wakeup call for the Democrats.
But who knows if they’ll actually take this seriously and try to mend things before the general election in November.

Donna Brazile, the former chairwoman for the Democratic National Committee, made an appearance on ABC’s “This Week” on Sunday to discuss President Joe Biden and some of the strategy decisions he faces.
Brazile said that Biden should “speak out more” but also noted that “nobody listens” when he does speak in public.
When asked by ABC if the president should make more statements in public about the ongoing conflicts in Ukraine and the Middle East, Brazile said, “Absolutely.”
“Not just in Israel, Ukraine – we are a superpower. He is the commander in chief. Absolutely he should speak out more,” she continued.
Brazile then decided to bash the media for how they cover comments that are made by Biden.
“And also, we should cover what he’s saying because often when he speaks, nobody listens,” she said.
Maybe nobody listens because when Biden does speak, he often has nothing substantial to say. Not only that but he has an awful habit of lying about personal anecdotes and matters regarding policy.
And he rarely interacts with the media and the press compared to most presidents that came before him.
Political scientist Martha Kumar has detailed that since before President Ronald Reagan, no president has participated in less press conferences than President Biden has.
He’s also held less formal sit-down interviews than the last six presidents in the same time frame of being in office.
Biden has given just two prime-time Oval Office addresses thus far, and the last one came in October of last year when he asked Congress to pass legislation that would give $100 billion in aid to Ukraine, Taiwan, and Israel.
Paul Begala, a Democrat strategist, also expressed similar comments as Brazile back in February when he said that Biden should be in front of the cameras more even though he has the ability to commit gaffes.
“I want to see more Joe Biden – the gaffes are built in,” he said while appearing on CNN.
And as clueless as Biden seems about most things, he’s at least aware that his staff isn’t always fond of him speaking off script in front of cameras.
He’s said before in public statements that he’ll get “in trouble” for taking questions that aren’t authorized by his aides.
Biden has even asked members of his staff if he’s allowed to “take a couple of questions” while addressing reporters in a public space.
So, has Donna Brazile not been present during Biden’s presidency thus far? If even his own staff doesn’t want him talking all that much to reporters than maybe that’s a sign that it’s best for Democrats that the president keeps his mouth mostly shut.
Of course, Republicans are more than willing for Joe Biden to continue making gaffes and in turn hurting his chances at reelection.

In February, the House of Representatives impeached Mayorkas on two counts, accusing him of “wilful and systemic refusal to comply with the law” and a “breach of the public trust,” primarily due to criticisms over the surge of foreign nationals entering the United States through the southern border, exceeding 7 million during his tenure. Reports suggest Senate Democrats, holding a narrow majority, aim to dismiss the impeachment articles against Mayorkas, a move Republicans oppose on constitutional grounds.
Republican Senator Lindsey Graham of South Carolina, emphasizing the unprecedented nature of the move, stated, “I think it has never been done before in the history of our nation and we’re going to vigorously oppose it.”
Andrew McCarthy, a legal expert, argued that Democrats opt for dismissal to avoid public scrutiny of Biden administration policies.
He said, “[T]hey’ve calculated that it’s better to take some heat for refusing to hold a trial than to allow House Republican impeachment managers and Senate Republicans in the Judiciary Committee make a public record on Biden administration border policy in the high-profile context of an impeachment trial against a Biden cabinet member.”
Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell anticipates Schumer’s move to swiftly dismiss the articles, though he prefers a full trial. McConnell stated, “I expect he will do that, and the Democrats have a majority, so it may not go very long…my preference would be to actually have a trial.”
House Speaker Mike Johnson and 11 Republican “impeachment managers” urged Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer to conduct a full trial for Mayorkas, citing the Senate’s “constitutional duty” to do so.
Republican senators, including Ron Johnson and James Lankford, criticized the proposed dismissal. Johnson argued, “We have a constitutional responsibility to take up that impeachment and render a verdict, and just dismissing it I don’t think is an adequate way of rendering a verdict.”
Senator John Cornyn condemned the unprecedented nature of dismissing impeachment articles, highlighting the Senate’s obligation to consider evidence and render judgment.
“The Majority Leader is expected to take the completely unprecedented step of voting to table the impeachment articles and eliminate a trial entirely, in violation of the Constitution,” Cornyn shared while recognized on the Senate floor recently.
Republican Senators Ted Cruz and Mike Lee stressed the Senate’s obligation to vote on impeachment articles and conduct a trial, as outlined in the Constitution.
“The Constitution, Senate rules and precedent are clear: The Senate has an obligation to vote on articles of impeachment,” U.S. Senator Ted Cruz wrote alongside Republican colleague and ally in the Congressional Upper Chamber, Mike Lee.
Ted Cruz also went on Fox News and argued that the Biden administration are trying to avoid the southern border issue being front and center for months leading up to the 2024 Presidential election.

On the Senate floor, Senator Tedd Budd also explicitly read out all the examples of how Secretary Mayorkas has been in dereliction of duty and therefore should be impeached for his failures.

Is Revelation Too Hard to Believe?
Some people have a hard time accepting reality. Some things simply sound "too good to be true." That could be said of Jesus’ promises to those who accept Him: absolute forgiveness and eternal life in the presence of God.
On the other hand, some people cannot accept the clear teaching of Scripture regarding the wrath of God that abides on all who do not obey the Son by accepting Him as Savior and Lord (John 3:36). They like the sound of a god who would not harm a fly but cannot accept the living God who will pour out His righteous indignation on a world that has rejected Him.
They are even more appalled by the idea of Jesus, the Lamb who was slain, administering the wrath of God. Yet that is exactly what Revelation teaches (6:16).It has been said that Revelation is too hard to understand. But Henry Morris, the founder of the Institute for Creation Research, once said: "Revelation is not hard to understand. It is hard to believe; but if you will believe it, you will understand it."It is critical that we understand up front that this final book in the canon of God’s Word is not merely the fanciful and imaginative vision of John the Apostle. The very first verse in the book establishes that it is "The Revelation of Jesus Christ."
The same verse goes on to explain the purpose behind Jesus unveiling all that John would be tasked to record: "...which God gave Him to show to His bond-servants, the things which must soon take place; and He sent and communicated it by His angel to His bond-servant John" (NASB). Driving the point home even further, verse 2 tells us that John "testified to the word of God and to the testimony of Jesus Christ, even to all that he saw."Other prophets of God affirm the divine inspiration to their prophecies by frequently weaving in the phrase, "Thus saith the Lord."
But John established up front that Revelation is the testimony of none other than Jesus Christ.Revelation is unique in one other respect. No other book offers a promise of blessing for merely reading what is written.
But verse 3 says, "Blessed is he who reads and those who hear the words of the prophecy, and heed the things which are written in it; for the time is near" (NASB). Not clear enough? Jesus repeats the same promise in 22:7: "And behold, I am coming quickly. Blessed is he who heeds the words of the prophecy of this book."
Reading and hearing can be easily done. But how do you heed a book of prophecy—especially one as expansive as Revelation? How can I heed the sweeping prophecies yet to be fulfilled and often related to God’s wrath that abides on the unbelieving world? By doing what Henry Morris advocated and believing this great book of prophecy.In other words—take Jesus at His Word.
