Supreme Court gives prosecutors one week for a response in Trump immunity case:

On Tuesday, Supreme Court Chief Justice John Roberts directed Department of Justice special counsel Jack Smith to address Donald Trump's request for a delay in implementing a recent appeals court ruling.

This ruling concluded that Trump lacks presidential immunity in a federal election interference criminal case.

The decision

Roberts granted Smith a week, until February 20, to submit a response, suggesting the court's inclination to thoroughly review the broader implications of immunity in such cases.

Later the same day, a coalition of former officials from Republican presidential administrations spanning from Richard Nixon to Trump submitted a document to the Supreme Court.

They contended that Trump had failed to meet the necessary criteria for delaying the appeals court ruling. Moreover, they underscored the necessity of rejecting absolute immunity to safeguard the integrity of the Constitution's framework.

The request

Trump had petitioned the Supreme Court to temporarily halt the enforcement of the appeals court's decision. This decision rejected Trump's argument that his presidential status shielded him from prosecution regarding alleged crimes committed during his presidency.

The charges against Trump relate to his actions following the 2020 election and attempts to impede Congress from certifying President Joe Biden's victory. Throughout the legal proceedings, Trump maintains his innocence.

In his filing, Trump expressed concern that the enforcement of the appeals court's mandate would disrupt his ongoing campaign activities against Biden.

He outlined his intention to appeal the lower court's decision to the Supreme Court and requested a full rehearing of his argument on presidential immunity before the entire appeals court.

What's next?

The Supreme Court is now poised to consider Trump's request, either granting or denying the delay after Smith submits his response. The court may treat Trump's filing as a broader petition to overturn the appeals court ruling, a move that could extend the legal process further.

Amidst these deliberations, the group of former Republican officials emphasized the critical importance of rejecting immunity for presidents implicated in criminal conduct linked to election outcomes.

They cautioned against establishing a precedent that might incentivize future misconduct by presidents.

The legal saga surrounding Trump's case underscores the complex intersection of presidential authority and legal accountability. As the Supreme Court weighs the merits of Trump's request, the broader implications for the rule of law and the integrity of democratic processes remain at the forefront of national discourse.

Bragg's Reputation comes to light - called worst DA in America:

BY CHARLOTTE TYLER

FEBRUARY 14, 2024

Concerns about the validity of the trial of former President Donald Trump taking place in New York City have only increased in recent weeks.

The former president is being prosecuted by District Attorney Alvin Bragg who has a less than stellar reputation, as was outlined by Rep. Mike Lawler (R-N.Y.), in an interview on Fox News.

The New York Republican called Bragg the worst district attorney in the United States and had less than positive thoughts about the Biden administration's role in justice and how it's impacted his home state.

The lawmaker called the state and New York City's migrant response, calling the way immigrants are allowed to flee "disastrous."

On Bragg

Following a recording being played of Bragg's comments about his thoughts on his position, Lawler said that Bragg "should be fired."

According to the lawmaker, the state of affairs in New York City allows victims to be thrown under the bus, criminals are put on a pedestal, and law enforcement is "spat on" by Bragg due to "pro-criminal" policies.

Lawler also aimed his ire at New York City Mayor Eric Adams and New York Governor Kathy Hochul.

Bragg's Case on Trump

Despite the increasing crime, Bragg announced a 34-count Felony indictment of Trump in April of last year, saying he was being charged with "34 counts of Falsifying Business Records in the First Degree."

“The People of the State of New York allege that Donald J. Trump repeatedly and fraudulently falsified New York business records to conceal crimes that hid damaging information from the voting public during the 2016 presidential election,” said District Attorney Bragg.

“Manhattan is home to the country’s most significant business market. We cannot allow New York businesses to manipulate their records to cover up criminal conduct.

"As the Statement of Facts describes, the trail of money and lies exposes a pattern that, the People allege, violates one of New York’s basic and fundamental business laws.

"As this office has done time and time again, we today uphold our solemn responsibility to ensure that everyone stands equal before the law.”

More on the Case

From August 2015 to December 2017, Trump is alleged to have organized his "catch and kill" plot by making a series of payments, which he subsequently hid by creating fictitious corporate entries for months.

An ex-doorman at Trump Tower who claimed to have information regarding a child Trump had outside of wedlock received $30,000 from American Media Inc.

Heroic Dads speak out after tackling suspected Kansas Chiefs parade shooter and feeding him a series of punches:

FEBRUARY 15, 2024

Kansas City Chiefs fans took to the streets of their hometown Wednesday to celebrate their team's Super Bowl victory. The merriment and festivities were cut short when at least one-armed thug opened fire west of Union Station, killing a mother of two and wounding 21 others — including nine children.

The atrocity could very well have claimed more victims were it not for the prompt and reflexive bravery of a pair of dads who ran down the alleged gunman and tested his tolerance for punches.

Trey Filter and Paul Contreras, previously unknown to one another, both stressed that inaction was never an option:

"It was just: just do it."

The shooting:

The Kansas City Missouri Police Department indicated that the shooting started around 2 p.m. Wednesday, west of Union Station, where a stage was set up for speeches made by team players.

Blaze News previously reported that footage of the incident shared online shows panicked fans fleeing the sound of gunshots.

Twenty-two people were struck by bullets. Police noted that eight of the victims were left with "immediately life-threatening" wounds, seven with "life-threatening" gunshot wounds, and six with minor injuries.

A spokeswoman for Children's Mercy Kansas City told KSHB-TV that 11 children had been taken to the hospital with injuries, nine of whom had gunshot wounds.

Lisa Lopez-Galvan, a 44-year-old radio disc jockey and a mother of two, was fatally struck in the abdomen.

Lopez-Galvan's radio station, KKFI 90.1 FM, said in a statement,

"It is with sincere sadness and an extremely heavy and broken heart that we let our community know that KKFI DJ Lisa Lopez-Galvan, host of Taste of Tejano, lost her life today in the shooting at the KC Chiefs' rally. Our hearts and prayers are with her family."

The Kansas City Star reported that the local mother of two may actually have been the second fatality in the mass shooting; she died after the 3:30 p.m. Wednesday press conference wherein police noted that one person had already died.

Three suspects were taken into custody, and at least one gun was recovered from the scene. According to the KCMPD's initial report, police had detained two armed suspects. FBI Kansas City said Wednesday evening the shooting "may have involved multiple actors."

"We do not have a motive, but we are asking those who may potentially have any kind of information, a witness or video, to contact police," KCMPD Chief Stavey Graves said Wednesday.

Off-season tackles:

Trey Filter was with his wife and two sons when gunshots rang out and the multitudes of people surrounding them began to duck for cover. Then someone yelled, "Get him!" he told the New York Post.

"My brain tells me, 'That must be him,'" recalled Filter. "I literally remember when I was tackling him, 'I sure hope this is who they were yelling at me to get.' Because I just went, 'Boom!' ... I really don't recall seeing him coming."

Although Filter managed to leap onto the alleged shooter and bring him to the ground, the suspected gunman managed to wiggle free.

That's when another dad with a zero-tolerance policy for evil stepped in to help.

KETV-TV reported that Paul Contreras of Bellevue, Nebraska, was with his three daughters when they heard what they figured to be fireworks. However, when it became clear that the crackling sound was gunfire and that the alleged shooter was on the loose, his parental instincts went into high gear.

Contreras reportedly spotted another man chasing down a suspect and yelling for someone to assist.

"I didn't think about it," Contreras told KETV. "It's just a reaction. I didn't hesitate. It was just: just do it."

"So, I went to go tackle him and another gentleman did the same thing," continued Contreras. "And as I'm tackling him, I see his weapon either fall out of his hand or out of his sleeve, 'cause he was wearing a long jacket."

Trey Filter's wife, Casey, lunged for the weapon after it hit the ground and attempted to secure it, reported the Post. Filter suggested the weapon was an AK-47 rifle, though police have not confirmed the make and model.

"So, when I see that hit the ground, I'm like, 'Oh, you know. We gotta take this guy down,'" added Contreras.

The Nebraska dad said that he and the other "Good Samaritan" held the suspect down for what "seemed like forever, but it probably ... was like 30 seconds" until police arrived.

When Filter saw Contreras wrestling with the suspected gunman in the dirt, he leaped back into action and began feeding him punches.

"I don't know if I knocked him out when I tackled him or what, but I had him squeezed so hard he might have been passed out all the time for all I know. I just started racking him in his ribs," Filter told the Post. "I was just yelling, 'F your gun!' and I was just hitting him in his ribs. It was great. You know, America stuff."

While Filter stuffed the suspect's breadbasket with knuckle sandwiches, Contreras reportedly went to work on the alleged gunman's face.

"The whole time he's fighting to get up and run away," said Contreras. "We're fighting each other, you know. We're fighting to keep him down and he's fighting to get up."

After police made the arrest and nearby witnesses applauded the dads' efforts, Filter told his boys, "Get your mother, we're getting the f*** out of here."

CNN indicated that it remains unclear whether the man subdued by Contreras and Filter was among the three ultimately reported detained.

Congressman [Rep. Ron Jackson] sheds light on plan for Kamala Harris to assume the Presidency:

President Biden is on the decline. His physical and mental wellbeing may not afford him the chance to finish out his term. And this congressman shed light on a plan for Kamala Harris to assume the presidency.

Rep. Ronny Jackson (R-TX) during an appearance on Fox Business’ “Mornings with Maria,” explained just how Vice President Kamala Harris could be the commander-in-chief in the near to recent future.

Jackson detailed to host Maria Bartiromo how President Joe Biden’s mental capacity, or lack thereof, could not only put Harris in the Oval Office, but it could also harm the country.

“Now, I saw your tweet you said it is time to brush off the 25th Amendment and use it here because President Biden is declining mentally,” Bartiromo said.

“Talk to us about that. What would you like to see happen?”

“Well, I think that is a real possibility here right now, Maria, because look, I mean – I have talked on your show before. I’ve been saying for well over three years because he was president when he was candidate Joe Biden that this man has got issues,” Jackson responded.

“He’s not cognitively fit to be our president, you know. And I have been around him for eight years in the White House in and around the Oval Office so I’ve seen a dramatic change. And if you go back and look at the time when he was vice president compared to now, it’s amazing at how much he’s deteriorated.”

“So, I think that you know, we all see this now. The American people have started to see it more and more over the last three years. Now, the Hur report came out and documents some of the same stuff that I’ve been saying that the American people are seeing now.”

The Hur report Jackson mentions, is special counsel Robert Hur’s report involving Joe Biden holding onto classified documents after his role as vice president in the Barack Obama administration.

In that report, Hur details how Biden’s cognitive ability isn’t very sharp and that he can’t accurately remember certain milestones in his life.

After the Hur report came out, Biden held a press conference where he tried to defend his mental capacity. That press conference ended up in flames as he made several major gaffes, including mixing up the names of world leaders.

That in turn led Republicans to call for the president to be removed from his post via the 25th Amendment.

“He gets on TV, he tries to refute it. He just reinforces that he’s got some serious cognitive issues that’s inspiring confidence in our – you know, our adversaries. Our allies don’t want to do stuff with us because they don’t trust us and they don’t know who is in charge,” Jackson continued.

“And so I think that this is the perfect scenario in which case the vice president and a majority of the president’s cabinet will get together and notify the speaker pro tempore and the Speaker of the House – the Senate pro tempore and the Speaker of the House that the president is not fit to continue with his duties as president of the United States, in which case, unfortunately, I would be saddened about it but the vice president would immediately become president.”

“And the 25th Amendment, if you look at Section 4, is written for a situation exactly like what we’re seeing right now. I mean that is exactly what it was written for.”

There’s no doubt about it. Joe Biden is clearly not fit to serve as president. But as Rep. Jackson mentions, the alternative, Kamala Harris, wouldn’t be much better.

You can watch his statements on “Mornings with Maria” below:

A TDS-afflicted Hollywood actor [Rapaport] made one jaw-dropping admission about Donald Trump:

Democrats have been brainwashed into despising Donald Trump.

That holds particularly true for entertainment celebrities.

But a TDS-afflicted Hollywood actor made one jaw-dropping admission about Trump.

Actor embarked down the road to recovery from Trump Derangement Syndrome, or TDS

Donald Trump referred to the fake news media as the “enemy of the American people.”

As more time passes, more citizens realize that Trump was right.

Hollywood actor Michael Rapaport is the latest celebrity to admit that he bought into the media lies about Trump.

Rapaport referenced the white supremacist march in Charlottesville where the Democrat-controlled media claimed that Trump called them “very fine people” and that there were good people “on both sides” of a brawl between neo-Nazis and far-left activists.

What he actually said

Trump actually said, “I’m not talking about the neo-Nazis and the white nationalists, because they should be condemned totally — but you had many people in that group other than neo-Nazis and white nationalists. Okay? And the press has treated them absolutely unfairly.”

During an interview on entrepreneur Patrick Bet-David’s podcast, Rapaport confessed that he was considering voting for Trump, whom he has vilified on many occasions in social media rants.

Rapaport said, “One thing about the … Charlottesville that I ranted about, and I was wrong…That was so irresponsible…Because he said you know, ‘there’s good people on both sides,’ and when you see the full quote that wasn’t what he said, and you know I ranted on him hard for that, hard. There’s some video about it, whatever, and I ranted hard.”

Rapaport isn’t alone

America’s Next Top Model winner Adrianne Curry also admitted that the Charlottesville lie was her “red pill” moment.

At another point in the interview, Rapaport said, “Imma tell you right now, I won’t vote…I’m not voting for Biden. I’m not voting for Kamala.”

Rapaport also ripped California Governor Gavin Newsom for his handling of the homelessness crisis.

Rapaport’s political evolution has been a slow process.

He began ranting about out-of-control shoplifting and crime in New York.

After the 2020 election, Rapaport also called out people who said that only racists voted for Trump.

He said, “[I]f you think the simple reason why they’re voting for Donald Trump is because they’re racist, or they support racists, or they’re okay with racism, you’re a dumb f*ck. Stop generalizing people…”

Rapaport may not vote for Trump in 2024, but the fact that he’s open to the idea is a huge loss for the Democrat-controlled media.

Once people are outside the media bubble, they are much more difficult to control with propaganda.

Fani Willis takes the stand as Trump tries to disqualify her in Georgia criminal case:

A bid by Trump and other defendants to disqualify her over her romantic relationship with a fellow prosecutor is “contrary to democracy,” she said on the stand.

Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis took the stand on Thursday to defend herself against efforts to remove her from the prosecution of Donald Trump.

Willis had initially sought to block efforts by the former president and several co-defendants to compel her testimony. But she opted to withdraw her objection on Thursday after hours of testimony from special prosecutor Nathan Wade, who was probed about his romantic relationship with Willis — and whether that relationship constitutes a conflict of interest that would require Willis and her team to be disqualified.

Willis repeatedly slammed defense attorneys for questioning her integrity and asking deeply personal questions about her relationship and sexual history, which she characterized as “lies.” The bid to remove her from the case over her relationship with Wade, whom she hired as an outside prosecutor to help run the probe, was “contrary to democracy,” she said.

It was an extraordinary sight: The top prosecutors of a historic case against a former president for efforts to subvert the 2020 presidential election were the ones being grilled on the stand about their private lives.

Willis’ decision to testify expands an explosive and high-stakes avenue of inquiry that could derail the case, because if Judge Scott McAfee deems Willis disqualified, her entire office will be removed from the case and new prosecutors will have to be appointed — a process that would likely cause months of delays and disruptions, at a minimum.

The effort by Trump and his allies to remove Willis appeared to gain some traction earlier in the day after a witness — a former “close friend” of Willis — contradicted Willis’ previous claims about the details of her romantic relationship with Wade.

Willis’ testimony came after Wade, who was ordered by McAfee to take the stand, answered deeply personal questions under oath about vacations he took with Willis — and who paid for them.

Trump and other defendants claim those trips show that Willis benefitted from the case because Wade allegedly used income from his work on the case to travel around the world with her.

Willis and Wade sharply deny any wrongdoing, and Wade testified Thursday that Willis — whom he called an “independent, strong woman” — insisted on reimbursing him for her portions of the trip. He also swore that their romantic relationship didn’t begin until March 2022, several months after Wade joined the Trump probe.

But another witness testified that she observed Willis and Wade kissing before Nov. 1 2021, the date that Willis hired Wade as a special prosecutor to help run the case. That witness — Robin Yeartie, a self-described one-time “close friend” of Willis who later had a falling out with her — said she observed a romantic relationship between Willis and Wade as early as November 2019.

The testimony came during a contentious evidentiary hearing in Atlanta that could stretch into Friday.

In his testimony, Wade described traveling with Willis to places like Aruba, Belize and Napa Valley in 2022 and 2023. He said he couldn’t recall whether they had traveled together in 2021. He also said Willis nearly always reimbursed him in cash — an assertion that prompted one of Trump’s co-defendants, David Shafer, to laugh out loud in the courtroom, earning him a scolding from the judge.

Wade testified that he didn’t reveal to others the personal relationship with his boss, but he insisted he wasn’t trying to cover it up.

“We’re private people,” he said. “Our relationship wasn’t a secret. It was just private.”

The decision by McAfee to force Wade to take the stand was a blow for Willis and her team as they try to stave off the effort to have them disqualified.

The defense lawyers say Wade misled McAfee and committed “fraud on the court” by denying in a sworn affidavit earlier this month that he was in a relationship with Willis prior to joining the investigative team. They also have highlighted filings in Wade’s recent divorce proceedings with his wife of more than two decades, saying that Wade omitted evidence of his relationship with Willis.

The hearing, which was livestreamed on the court’s YouTube page and broadcast on many cable networks, delved into deeply personal aspects of Wade and Willis’ lives, as lawyers pressed Wade about how often he and Willis spoke on the phone, the circumstances of his divorce proceedings and which credit cards he used to pay for travel with Willis.

Wade insisted he did not mention his relationship with Willis in his divorce proceedings because the questions referred to events during the marriage and he considered that union “irretrievably broken” in 2015. He updated his divorce filings in January — after the defense lawyers sought to disqualify him and Willis from the case — to assert a privilege that he said was intended to protect his privacy.

“I didn’t want the proceedings of my divorce to bleed over into the proceedings in this case,” Wade said.

The key question at the hearing is whether Willis and Wade began their romantic relationship before or after Willis hired Wade as a contract attorney in November 2021.

Yeartie testified via Zoom Thursday morning that the district attorney began dating Wade in 2019, long before the investigation began.

The sworn testimony from Yeartie, who worked in Willis’ office but resigned two years ago, contradicts Willis’ and Wade’s claim in court documents that the personal relationship with Wade began in 2022, after she’d hired Wade.

Yeartie’s testimony is the first time a witness has publicly undercut Willis’ claim about the timing of her relationship with Wade. Yeartie described meeting Willis in college and developing a close friendship that resulted in Willis subletting a condo from her in April 2021. Yeartie would eventually take a job in Willis’ office, but resigned in 2022 amid internal acrimony, and the two have not spoken since, Yeartie testified.

The prosecutors had hoped to avoid having to testify about the details of their relationship, but Yeartie’s account prompted McAfee to rule that Wade had to take the stand.

Yeartie said she knew of Willis’ relationship with Wade from observing interactions between the pair, including in social settings, where she said she witnessed “hugging, kissing, just affection.” She also said Willis discussed the relationship with her.

However, the prosecution suggested Yeartie had an ax to grind against Willis stemming from Yeartie’s departure from the job in the district attorney’s office.

On cross-examination by a prosecutor, Yeartie said she worked in the district attorney’s office and resigned after being told she would be fired if she did not quit. Yeartie was vague about the circumstances of her departure. “It was a spiral of things,” she said.

The atmosphere in the courtroom throughout the Thursday hearing was tense and acrimonious.

Before the testimony began, the prosecution railed against the effort to disqualify Willis, Wade and others. Prosecutor Adam Abbate complained that the defense was trying to “create a spectacle and create harassment” for Willis and had purveyed “flagrant falsehoods that have been spread throughout the world in an effort to affect this case, and to keep it from moving forward.”

Wade said the cash reimbursements were related to dangers Willis faced due to her notoriety, apparently related to the Trump case.

“Traveling with her is a task. You can probably imagine the attention that happens. For safety reasons, she would limit her transactions,” Wade said. “There’s no attempt to conceal. … Everything is here.”

“She’s a very independent, proud woman, so she’s going to insist that she carries her own weight,” he said. “It was a point of contention because she was very emphatic and adamant about this independent strong woman thing.”

At times, the grilling of Wade delved deeply into the weeds of his travel with Willis. Merchant, for instance, pressed him on whether he booked a cabin in Tennessee.

“I book lots of cabins,” Wade responded but said he was sure he never stayed in one with Willis.

He said he would take day trips with Willis out of state because her public profile made moving around locally impossible. Merchant asked Wade about dining at the Fainting Goat in Jasper, Georgia, and taking a cruise with Willis and his mother.

LFP Letters to the Editor:

[These are good]

Sometimes the letters to the editor are better than what the paid journalists write (paid by the newspaper and the Liberal government).  Here's a few examples from last Saturday's paper.

Roger Meadows wrote that "Toxic particles from tire wear is almost two thousand times worse than from exhausts".  A friend of mine who worked at a tire recycling plant said that's right.  It's a shame, scientists haven't come up with a better tire instead of a better battery.

Robert Webb wrote that "Flair Airlines is reported to owe Canada Revenue $65 million in sales taxes, and a year ago, Ontario let the 407 ETR off on $1 billion it owed.  Why are we allowing the giants not to pay their way while individuals and small businesses get no relief?"

Grace Tullman wrote, "I am a health care worker who has frequent contact with the homeless population.  There are many excellent meal programs throughout the week...[but] sadly lacking on Sundays at noon.  Wouldn't it be a wonderful act of charity [for churches] to open your doors to the hungry after your morning services?"

Canada Ranked Third Among Western Countries for Christian Rights Violations:

‘Justin Trudeau has turned the Liberal Party into a veritable hate group against Christians,’ Campaign Life Coalition’s Jack Fonseca told LifeSiteNews.

(LifeSiteNews) — Canada is third on the list of Christian-persecuting Western nations under Prime Minister Justin Trudeau’s leadership.

According to a report published on January 31 by Family Research Council’s (FRC) Center for Religious Liberty, Canada ranks third among Western countries that persecute Christians for their faith.

“These stories are alarming and show the diverse ways Western governments – which ought to be the standard bearers for upholding freedom of religion and expression – are undermining the fundamental human right to religious freedom,” Arielle Del Turco, author of the report and director of FRC’s Center for Religious Liberty, said in a press release.

“This report serves as a warning about how basic freedoms can erode even in Western democracies,” she continued. “Religious freedom must be protected at home so that we may also defend religious freedom across the globe and stand up for the persecuted.”

The report, titled, “Free to Believe? The Intensifying Intolerance Toward Christians in the West,” documented 168 incidents of persecution or unfair discrimination against Christians across 16 countries between 2019 and 2023.

According to the report, the United States ranked first with 58 incidents of Christian persecution, followed by the U.K. with 43 and Canada with 36 cases.

The authors of the report admit that their work is “far from exhaustive” but does highlight “the factors contributing to Western governments’ violations of Christians’ religious freedom.”

The majority of the cases recorded in 2020 and 2021 were related to COVID-19 restrictions, as many church leaders were fined for holding in-person services during lockdowns or because Christians lost their jobs for refusing to take COVID-19 shots due to moral and religious objections.

The second theme seen throughout the past four years was Christians being fired, fined, arrested, or even imprisoned for speaking out against the LGBT or abortion agendas, as well as for praying or preaching in public.

During the COVID “pandemic,” churches across Canada were shut down as the government deemed them “non-essential.” Those who opposed the mandates and held church services were severely punished.

The report counted a total of 16 instances in which churches were targeted for holding in-person services. Perhaps the most famous case is that of Pastor Artur Pawlowski who arrested and jailed multiple times for protesting against COVID mandates and for holding church services.

In February 2022, he was arrested for the fifth time by an undercover SWAT team just before he was slated to speak at a Freedom Convoy protest taking place in Coutts. Pawlowski was then jailed for three months.

Additionally, the report listed several instances of Canadians who were punished for publicly condemning the LGBT agenda and quoting the Bible.

The cases included that of then 16-year-old Josh Alexander, who was suspended and then expelled from his Catholic school in Renfrew, Ontario, for quoting Genesis to combat LGBT ideology.

Despite being arrested for protesting multiple times, Alexander continues the fight, traveling across Canada holding protests against the LGBT agenda. He has now become a familiar face in the pro-family movement, with many recognizing him by his red “Save Canada” hat.

Another famous, or infamous, case is that of Alberta pastor Derek Reimer, who was forcibly removed from a public library last year after protesting at a “drag queen story time” event targeting children, at which he said “homosexuality is a sin.”

He was later arrested in March before being released on bail for protesting the event. Reimer was arrested again that same month after appearing to breach his bail conditions by protesting a new Calgary bylaw that bans demonstrations against “drag queen story time” or other so-called LGBT events at public facilities.

Notably, the report did not count the church burnings that have taken place across Canada since 2021. According to a map created by independent media outlet True North, 44 churches have been burned, while 52 others have been vandalized.

If these instances were counted, they would have placed Canada at 132, making it the Western country with the highest number of incidents of persecuting Christians.

However, Trudeau and his Liberals have repeatedly refused to condemn the church burnings or, indeed, any of the acts of persecution against Christians.

Instead, the state-funded CBC recently produced a video seemingly justifying the intentional church burnings.

Campaign Life Coalition’s Jack Fonseca told LifeSiteNews that “The fact that Canada ranks third among Western countries in terms of being most hostile to Christians is not at all surprising.”

“Justin Trudeau has turned the Liberal Party into a veritable hate group against Christians,” he added. “Through his oppressive legislation, policies and statements, Trudeau has revealed that he is the enemy of the cross.”

Fonseca further explained that Trudeau’s “conversion therapy ban” makes it illegal for pastors to “preach from the pulpit that Christ has the power to transform homosexuals and transgenders.”

Additionally, many experts have noted that the bill would seem to allow parents to be jailed for up to 5 years if they refuse to allow their young child to undergo a “gender transition.”

“I believe that Justin Trudeau is a sociopath who has spent the last nine years trying to build a totalitarian police state in which Christians will eventually bear the full brunt of his hatred for the faith,” Fonseca warned.

“We are at a point in time with the Trudeau regime’s hostility that is eerily similar to Adolf Hitler just before he seized total power in Germany,” he added. “Hitler made moves, just like Trudeau is doing, to change laws and regulations which would help bring about the fascist police state dictatorship that he craved.”

“Hitler seethed with hatred for Jews the same way that Trudeau now seethes with hatred for Christians,” Fonseca said.

RCMP watchdog raises serious concerns about strip searches:

Iqaluit detachment specifically called out for removing bras

The watchdog for the RCMP says the force has problems with the way it justifies strip searches and needs to better train members about the controversial practice.

In a report made public today, the Civilian Review and Complaints Commission (CRCC) found the rationale and documentation for strip searches "is often lacking."

It specifically calls out the detachment in Iqaluit, where members removed bras.

"The commission found that the RCMP's national personal search policy (including cell block searches) is unclear and inadequate," notes the report, which is dated Sept. 30 and was released Thursday morning.

"The RCMP's inability to evaluate and report on policy compliance has a chilling effect on public accountability, self-evaluation and independent review."

Many Mounties unaware of personal search policies

The report from the independent oversight body also reveals that many Mounties are not aware of personal search policies and that no mandatory training exists beyond basic instruction to cadets at the RCMP depot.

It also recommended more specialized supervisory training on personal searches from senior personnel.

"The commission is particularly concerned with the inadequate supervision of members, lack of articulation on files, and overall lack of knowledge of what constitutes a strip search at the Iqaluit detachment. Interviews revealed that bras are routinely removed and searches are video-recorded," notes the report.

In one 2015 case, officers forcibly removed a woman's bra and left her topless in cells, said the CRCC. The woman broke her arm as she tried to resist the officers removing her undergarment and medical care was not provided within a reasonable period, according to the report.

"Women, both cisgender and transgender, taken into police custody are often from marginalized groups, survivors of gender-based violence and in Canada, they are disproportionately from Indigenous communities," it reads.

"When these already vulnerable women are forced to remove their bras, there is heightened risk that they will be further traumatized."

Top court found strip searches 'degrading'

Today's findings follow up on a 2017 report that found "significant shortcomings" in the RCMP's personal search policies, which included strip searches.

CRCC chairperson Michelaine Lahaie said the RCMP has made a number of positive changes over the past three years and now better distinguishes between personal searches and strip searches.

"In spite of the strides made by the RCMP, the CRCC found that further clarification on national policy is required," she wrote.

In a letter to Lahaie, RCMP Commissioner Brenda Lucki agreed with most of the 2020 report's findings.

One of the only areas she disagreed with is a recommendation that the RCMP develop specific supervisor training regarding duties and responsibilities with personal searches, which Lucki argued was already in place.

"Since the commission completed its review, there have been changes to the cadet training program specific to personal searches and further revisions are to be completed in this fiscal year," she wrote last month.

"However, as I have written in this response, further revisions of the national policy are required to address the related recommendations in this report."

Both CRCC reviews follow a 2001 Supreme Court case that ruled that strip searches are "inherently humiliating and degrading."
