Gaza humanitarian crisis worsens; soldiers prepare for potential Canadian evacuation:
Israeli forces conducted another ground raid in Gaza in advance of an expected invasion of the Hamas-ruled territory. U.S. warplanes, meanwhile, struck targets in eastern Syria after attacks on U.S. forces by Iran-backed fighters, adding to regional tensions fueled by the three-week-old Gaza war. Follow our live coverage.
The head of the UN agency for Palestinian refugees told The Globe and Mail that some of Gaza’s two million people will soon be dying from Israel’s siege of the territory, not just from the relentless bombardments that have reportedly killed thousands.
“Civil order is breaking down,” he said. “People are just completely desperate,” said Philippe Lazzarini. Water, food, fuel and medicine are all nearly exhausted.

Former US Secretary of State Henry Kissinger explained in an interview recently that Europe had made a serious mistake by creating within itself, through mass immigration, populations that reject all its norms, values and a "constitutional basis".
Finally, Europeans will have to do the unthinkable: actually apply their laws. If anyone -- Muslim or non-Muslim -- wants to celebrate the jihadist pogroms against Jews, well, they can go and rejoice in Iran or Qatar. Not in Europe.
Every "Death to the Jews" or "Death to Israel" uttered in Europe... is an insult not only to Jews, but to us, what we are, our laws, our democracies and the will of the people.
In Vienna, London, Paris, Berlin, Brussels and dozens of other European cities, demonstrations "in support of Palestine" were organised even before the Israelis responded the jihadist pogrom perpetrated by Iran-backed Hamas on October 7, while the corpses of more than 1,400 Israeli victims -- tortured, raped, murdered and mutilated, babies decapitated or burned alive -- were still warm. According to a JNS report:
"[T]he IDF on Monday [Oct 23] published two segments from the interrogation of Hamas terrorists who participated in the massacre..
"'The purpose of entering Israeli territory... was to kidnap civilians; they want as many hostages as possible,' one of the terrorists revealed. He added, 'They [Hamas] promised us that whoever brings a kidnapped person will receive an apartment and $10,000.'"
All the same, each and every one of these demonstrations in Europe was the scene of hate-filled slogans against Israel and Jews.
In Brussels, those slogans were shouted, and the atmosphere of violence and blood-lust was everywhere. Around me, surrounded by about 2,000 hate-filled demonstrators, a group of a dozen young Arabs were shouting "Death to the Jews" and "Death to Israel", all the while exchanging knowing smiles and a few jokes. One of them ordered me to stop filming. I did.

In the hours following the revelation of the butchery committed by Hamas, a wave of racist violence and attacks began in Europe, especially in France. Against Arabs or Muslims? Not at all. Against Jews, of course. In Europe, Jews are still the victims of hatred and violence. Apparently it is a way for our local pro-Hamas Europeans to celebrate the jihad pogrom of October 7.
Even though the media have been warning us for 30 years about the risk of violence against Muslims, in deeds and figures, our Jewish fellow citizens are infinitely more victims of violence and abuse than are Muslims living in Europe. Already in 2015, Jeffrey Goldberg warned in The Atlantic: "In 2014, Jews in Europe were murdered, raped, beaten, stalked, chased harassed, spat on and chased for being Jewish."
I feel a certain fatigue towards those who hold Israelis and Arabs equally responsible. Not just the European Left, which often no longer takes the trouble to hide its anti-Semitism. No, also those on the right who, out of cowardice or ignorance, tell us that Israel had it coming.
Let us look at a few facts: In 2005, seeing that the peace process had reached an impasse, Israel forcibly expelled 8,500 Jews from their homes in the Gaza Strip and bulldozed all their homes and communities. From that day on, there was not a single Israeli foot on Gaza soil and Gaza was "free." Now, with not one Jew there, the Arabs of Gazan finally had total control of this beautiful land on the Mediterranean coast and could build the "Singapore of the Middle East". A group of Americans even donated $14 million to buy 3,000 greenhouses from the expelled Jews and donated them to the Palestinian Authority (PA) to ensure that the Gazans could start with businesses there. Within days, they all had been looted and destroyed.
In 2006, elections were held in Gaza; the majority of Gazans voted for the totalitarian terrorist organisation, Hamas, whose openly stated goal was -- and still is -- the total destruction of Israel and the eradication of the Jews (Articles 7, 32).
In 2007, in response to Hamas's smuggling in weapons to fulfil its genocidal mission, a blockade of Gaza was introduced by Israel and Egypt, in agreement with the Palestinian Authority, which Hamas had just persuaded to leave Gaza by killing hundreds of its members, some by throwing them from the top floors of high buildings.
Israel bears no responsibility whatsoever for the pogrom it suffered on October 7, the responsibility for which lies entirely not only with the psychopaths of Hamas but at least as much with the Islamic Republic of Iran, the puppet-master and aspiring hegemon of the region.
But let us return to Europe. In most Western European countries, support for terrorism and incitement to hatred and violence against non-Muslims have gone from being offences, to being support for and diversity and "multiculturalism". 99% of those who commit these offences are never prosecuted, let alone convicted. Saying "Death to the Jews" and "Gas the Jews" has again become acceptable in the West.
No sane person, according to Thucydides, wants the worst form of war, which is civil war. It is for this reason that Europe needs to better understand what it has done to itself. Europe doubtless intended to "do good" but has demographically overwhelmed itself with people who Europeans may have imagined were fleeing tyranny, but who in fact were bringing tyranny with them. Three measures seem worth considering.
The first is a moratorium on immigration. Europeans will have the greatest difficulty integrating the populations already present in their countries. They may not even be able to. Many do not seem to want to integrate into European culture; they appear to want Europeans to integrate into theirs. It should by now be obvious that adding millions of newcomers every year will not solve the problem.
This would mean leaving the European Convention on Human Rights (ECHR). The extremist "open borders" jurisprudence of the Strasbourg Court prevents any development of a rational asylum policy. In 2012, the ECHR enacted the so-called "Hirsi ruling," named after the court case of Hirsi Jamaa and Others v. Italy, which states that the European states have the legal obligation to rescue migrants wherever they find them in the Mediterranean Sea -- even just 200 meters away from the Libyan coast -- and ferry them to a European port, so that these people can claim refugee status.
When the Italian Navy intercepted illegal migrants in the Mediterranean Sea and sent them back to their point of origin in Libya, not only did the ECHR condemn Italy for this "obvious" breach of human rights; the Italians had to pay 15,000 euros ($17,000 at the time) to each of these illegal migrants in the name of "moral damage". This kind of money is equivalent to more than 10 years of income in the countries of origin of Mr. Hirsi Jamaa and his companions: Somalia and Eritrea.
In 2016, Somalia's GDP per capita was an estimated $400 ; Eritrea's $1,300. Everyone, of course, heard about the Hirsi ruling. In Africa, especially, many understood that if they could reach the Mediterranean, European navies would now be obliged to ferry them directly to Europe. Before the Hirsi ruling, when people tried to reach the shores of Europe, hundreds every year tragically died at sea. After Hirsi, the objective is now simply to be intercepted. Consequently, hundreds of thousands attempt this journey -- often with the help of non-governmental organizations such as Médecins Sans Frontières, whose activists wait for boats to appear at sea, just off the Libyan coast.
Finally, Europeans will have to do the unthinkable: actually apply their laws. If anyone -- Muslim or non-Muslim -- wants to celebrate the jihadist pogroms against Jews, well, they can go and rejoice in Iran or Qatar. Not in Europe.
Every "Death to the Jews" or "Death to Israel" uttered in Europe, particularly after babies tortured, burned alive and beheaded, women raped and more than 200 Israelis dragged back to Gaza as hostages on October 7, is an insult not only to Jews, but to us, what we are, our laws, our democracies and the will of the people.

Charged for your Conversation on the Transit?
Two Calgary men charged for private conversation en route to city's Million Person March - LifeSite

CALGARY, Alberta (LifeSiteNews) — Two Calgary men are facing charges after someone reported their private conversation on city transit while they travelled to the province’s Million Person March last month.
On October 24, The Democracy Fund (TDF) announced that they will represent the two men, who were ticketed following their conversation.
“The men, who have not been told what they did to contravene the by-law, report having had a private conversation on the C-train with a like-minded passenger enroute to the march,” TDF said in a news release.
The men were charged with violating the city bylaw which prohibits public transit users from engaging in activity that would “interfere with the comfort, convenience, or quiet use and enjoyment of the transit system of any reasonable person.”
However, the city of Calgary has yet to disclose the details of their conversation which are allegedly opposed to the bylaw.
The two men were riding the mostly empty train on their way to participate in the September 20 Million Person March to defend children from LGBT propaganda in schools. According to TDF, it seems that another passenger overhead their conversation and reported it.
The two men were detained by enforcement officers upon exiting the train. Police handcuffed one of the men while they attempted to confirm his identity. Both men were then ticketed and summoned to court in late November 2023 before being released.
TDF voiced concern over the increase of city bylaws used to restrict controversial, but not criminal, conversations. In July, Calgary passed a bylaw restricting the distribution of images of all unborn mammals.
According to the new bylaw, “any materials that contain the image of a fetus must be enclosed in a non-transparent envelope with a warning label and the return address of the sender. Violators will face fines of up $1000.00.”
Earlier, in March, Calgary introduced another bylaw outlawing “discriminatory protests near public facilities” which includes public pools, recreation centres, and libraries, following protests over drag queen story hour events for children at public libraries.
Likewise, Campaign Life Coalition (CLC) has recently warned of a growing number of Canadian cities passing laws to censor protests against LGBT indoctrination. Cities moving to further restrict free speech include Edmonton, Calgary, Kitchener, Cambridge, St. Catharines, and Waterloo.

Refugee Problems have a Purpose:
I don't want to debate whether we're letting in too many refugees or which countries should be given what priority. Leave that for news hounds and sociologists. Suffice it to say that left-wing liberals and progressives are not having enough kids.
I do want to point out some surprising conclusions from an article in the paper this week, and from a meeting I attended at church, a meeting Putin just had with religious leaders, and from a unique study of history and prophecy compiling Protestant, Catholic, Orthodox, Jewish and Muslim predictions.
First the church meeting.
It was an excellent presentation of the seven different financial arrangements made for refugees. Yes, seven. And there are so many myths. It's very confusing to distinguish the differences when you're meeting refugees. Especially since some "safe" cities like London have a policy of "no questions asked" when allocating services. Some refugees have guaranteed support from sponsors, but can still access municipal and benefits. Canada gets more families and less young men than Europe. What's surprising is that all refugees are chosen first by the United Nations agencies, then screened by national agencies, and finally accepted by local settlement services and/or sponsors.

A three-year backlog of refugee applicants? No wonder they want to sneak in! And the backlog is even worse than that if the truth be known. It's not known because last year the Liberals redefined the "processing time" to add a word, "expected processing time". Now they don't count how long someone has already been waiting, just how much longer it is expected to take.
Globalists hidden purpose
Globalists are creating excessive migration because they want to overburden nations and let so many conflicting cultures bring their grudges with them to create internal conflicts. Globalists propose is to bring order out of this chaos, a New World Order that Anti-Christ can rule. Putin sees this and fights to create a multipolar world instead. Last week he addressed religious communities in the Kremlin and said;
“Islamophobia, anti-Semitism, and Russophobia” were being used as weapons against a multipolar world. “The West sees how the process of forming a multipolar world order is gaining momentum. And in order to restrain the development of independent, sovereign countries, to split the world majority, they use the same means,” Putin said. These forces want “the epidemic of violence and hatred” to engulf not just the Middle East but to Eurasia, he warned.
The goal of all those actions is to “increase instability in the world, to divide cultures, peoples, world religions, and to provoke a conflict of civilizations,” Putin noted. “Meanwhile, they talk about some kind of ‘new world order’, whose essence hasn’t changed: hypocrisy, double standards, claims to exclusivity, to global dominance, to the preservation of an essentially neocolonial system.”
God's purposes
For a while it might help feed the world's poor people. But a more important purpose is to drive all His Chosen People back to Israel where they can some day see Jesus as their Messiah. Another reason God allows it is to expose evil. Hurry it up so He can deal with it by separating the wheat from the tares. Saints and ancient seers, prophecy clubs and religious leaders have predicted these end-times civil wars and how God will intervene to stop them before the final battle of Armageddon. Summary
Civil wars play a big part in creating migrations of people which destabilize established nations that let them in. So, from both God's perspective and Satan's, violence is a way to hasten the final showdown between good and evil. Satan thinks he wins because he takes more people with him to hell than God takes into heaven.
It's the same kind of demented thinking that drives "normal" people to prefer suicide and euthanasia. God knows he wins because quality is more important than quantity.

Charges dropped against Freedom Convoy protester based on lack of evidence and cop’s ‘poor memory’:
The Canadian man had his banks accounts immediately frozen after his arrest in February 2022.
OTTAWA, Ontario (LifeSiteNews) — All charges against a Canadian man who had his bank accounts frozen instantly for participating in the 2022 Freedom Convoy were dismissed by a judge due to lack of evidence and the “poor memory of a cop regarding key details of the alleged criminal offences.”
On February 18, 2022, Evan Blackman was hit with his Criminal Code offences of mischief and obstructing police charges after officers in downtown Ottawa were conducting “enforcement action” against protesters that included the use of surveillance drones to clear out protesters. He was arrested and released from custody on the same day.
According to the Justice Centre for Constitutional Freedoms (JCCF), which helped Blackman with his legal case, the evidence against him “consisted of a 14-minute drone video (with no audio) and the testimony of one officer who was on the scene.”
For about nine minutes of the video, Blackman was recorded as part of a large group of protesters standing in front of a line of police officers on Rideau Street. The JCCF noted that one video showed Blackman “deescalating the situation by holding other protesters back and by putting his hand up to stop protesters from confronting police.”
“He is seen kneeling in front of police during the five minutes leading up to his arrest. At one point, while on his knees, he is seen taking off his hat, putting his hand on his chest, and singing ‘O Canada,’” the JCCF said.
Remarkably, after being let go from jail, Blackman quickly realized all three of his bank accounts had been frozen, according to Prime Minister Justin Trudeau’s Emergency Economic Measures Order.
Blackman pleaded not guilty to the charges and faced an October 23 trial before the judge “dismissed all charges against Mr. Blackman” due to lack of evidence.
Blackman’s lawyer, Chris Fleury, and his client “are thrilled with this outcome.”
“After almost 20 months, Mr. Blackman can finally put this matter behind him,” Fleury said.
Blackman is the latest Freedom Convoy participant who has seen their charges dismissed.
Earlier this week, bail-related charges from last year against Freedom Convoy leader Tamara Lich for attending an awards ceremony were stayed by the Crown. This move came during her weeks-long trial for leading the convoy.
Lich’s bail charges are separate from her main criminal charges, which she and Freedom Convoy leader Chris Barber are currently on trial for in Ottawa.
Recently, charges against retired Canadian truck driver Benjamin Lockstein, who was arrested for allegedly obstructing traffic during the 2022 Freedom Convoy protests in Ottawa, were dropped by the Crown after he donated to a cat shelter.
Lich and Barber’s trial has thus far taken more time than originally planned due to the slow pace of the Crown calling its witnesses. LifeSiteNews has been covering the trial extensively.
In early 2022, the Freedom Convoy saw thousands of Canadians from coast to coast come to Ottawa to demand an end to COVID mandates in all forms. Despite the peaceful nature of the protest, Prime Minister Justin Trudeau’s federal government enacted the Emergencies Act in mid-February, leading to Lich’s arrest two days later on February 17, 2022.
After the protesters were cleared out, which was done through the freezing of bank accounts of those involved without a court order as well as the physical removal and arrest of demonstrators, Trudeau revoked the EA on February 23.
