There is a massive deception happening in our world right now.

 

Westerners, Christians, atheists, even some portions of Jewish society are aligning with apocalyptic Islamic Jihadists marching through the streets in protest against God’s written purposes for His Promised Land.

 

I have heard many churches and people online say that the Israel today is not the Israel from the Bible. Bible schools have even taught this.

 

How is this possible?

Hitler tried to genocide every Jewish person from existing on the earth, did he mistakenly kill millions of people that have no connection to, and are not at all descended from the tribes of Israel?

Iran continues to attempt to successfully build a nuclear bomb to destroy Israel. Did they NOT shoot their ballistic missiles at the Jewish people?

Many churches today have disconnected Israel from the Word of God. And have disconnected many of the promises that God made to Israel, and exclusively applied them to themselves.

 

And to hear countries, founded as Christian Western nations such as France, Canada, United Kingdom, Portugal, and others say that they plan to recognize a Palestinian state this September, is baffling! No terrorist organization, still

Holding innocent lives hostage, should have a state!

Look at Iran, the Ayatollah government, the IRGC, there are terrorist orchestrators essentially, and the people are suffering deeply as a result.

 

How do we make sense of all this?

Where are we headed?

Though this seems to crazy, it is predicted:

 

“Behold, I will make Jerusalem a cup of reeling

to all the surrounding peoples

when they besiege Judah and Jerusalem.

Moreover, in that day I will make Jerusalem a heavy stone for all the peoples.

All who try to lift it will be injured,

yet all the nations of the earth will be gathered together against her.”

— Zechariah 12:2–3

 

However, despite this, God always preserves remains a Holy remnant. It took a small brave Gideon army to defeat our enemies.

 

I also feel deeply for the Jewish communities around the world, and how things are becoming hostile in the nations for them.

 

We believe that there is going to be a big wave of Aliyah after the war is over.

Maoz Israel vs. Protesters

I am forwarding this to you, so that you may be informed and know the LIES, DECEIT, and TRICKERY being sent to you from the enemy of our souls, and make you aware the madness in this world.

 

May you seek His face in these difficult times.

 

I bet you’ve seen countless protesters on the news.

 

But have you had the “privilege” of being confronted by them?

 

This past weekend our Maoz team in the UK were at Creation Fest to share the vision of Maoz for the salvation of Israel as well as the reality on the ground there during the war. 

 

The booth displayed the Maoz Israel Reports with articles discussing a plethora of subjects. After all, we have a lot to show for almost 50 years of work in the land of Israel. 

 

The Festival is of course open to people of all beliefs and as such an activist group apparently called "Palestine Solidarity Cornwall” came and brought with them an LGBTQ banner. (On a side note, the combining of the LGBT and Islamic causes has never made sense since in any Islamic controlled area LGBT’s are often tortured and thrown from rooftops.)

But back to our story...

Once the group of activists discovered our booth, they began reading our articles out loud and became somewhat belligerent as they yelled that while "24,000 children have been killed in Gaza….” Maoz is claiming Gaza is faking videos of suffering children. 

 

Interestingly enough, just this week we heard of a German newspaper also picked up on the story of “Pallywood" and exposed one of the creators in Gaza who makes money selling fake footage to the western media. 

 

The MIR article which the activist held up near our booth at Creation Fest had screenshots from a video we obtained that clearly demonstrate the “Pallywood" industry. We combined the video of the activists encounter with the original “Pallywood” video for you here.

 

While the peace activists were escorted out for - disturbing the peace, the local news picked up the story. They erroneously wrote that Maoz had been banned from Creation Fest for its hate speech, advocation of war crimes, ethnic cleansing.. (and other fancy phrases people use to accuse Israel - but never use for countries in the Middle East and Africa where genocides are actually claiming the lives of hundreds of thousands of people.)  

 

But what else do we expect from the news these days?

 

In reality, Creation Fest notified our team that a larger group of protesters was rumored to be coming the next day and for safety reasons they encouraged our team not to return. We agreed and our good relationship with Creation Fest continues as we have only received positive feedback from the organizers who read the full articles in question. 

 

And just to top off the encounter with joy that good people are not staying silent: Some of the people in nearby booths (store holders) who witnessed the scene were upset for us that we had to pack up. They encouraged us that they not only stood with us and our message but that they would start supporting Maoz themselves!

 

All in all, the Lord is already turning the situation for good. But we are also now on the radar of these activist groups who make it their calling to tear down anything to do with Israel.

 

So, we are praying that the more these activists push to harm Maoz and Israel as a whole, the more the Lord would grant us exposure to the many who are seeking to understand Israel and those who wish be a part restoration of Israel in these last days.

EDITORIAL: Nova Scotia’s emergency overreach: banning fishing, hiking, and trust itself... And just to twist the knife, the province has also set up a “hotline” — a snitch line, if we’re being honest — so Nova Scotians can report one another for the crime of enjoying nature.


So, it’s come to this. Nova Scotia, blessed with ocean breezes, rocky trails, and the sort of rugged landscapes that invite Canadians to breathe deep and cast a line, has declared an “emergency” — not over a raging inferno, mind you, but over the act of hiking and fishing.

NS Premier Tim Houston, while admitting “this situation sucks,” has ordered a sweeping ban on fishing, hiking, camping (unless it’s in a government-blessed campground), and just about anything else that might involve stepping into the woods. Forget Crown land — even your own private property is off-limits. Venture out and you risk a $25,000 fine. You read that right. Twenty-five grand for fishing in your own back yard.


 

And just to twist the knife, the province has also set up a “hotline” — a snitch line, if we’re being honest — so Nova Scotians can report one another for the crime of enjoying nature.

 

There’s something sourly familiar about all this. It’s the same bureaucratic reflex we saw during COVID: ramp up fear, strip away liberties, and unleash the tattletales. We were told that staying six feet apart in a forest would kill grandma. Now, it seems catching trout is one match away from burning down the province.


Let’s be clear: wildfires are a serious issue. But even the province’s own Natural Resources Minister, Tory Rushton, admits that “they’ve all been small and put out quickly.” In fact, there have been around 100 wildfires this season — a number not much higher than past years — and all have been handled efficiently. So why this sudden panic?

 

Houston’s answer? “We’ve chosen to be proactive.”

Proactive is one thing. Paranoid is another.

It’s hard to see how banning someone from going fishing with their grandson or hiking a family trail is going to start a fire. It’s even harder to imagine how fishing causes fires in the first place. Are the fish striking matches when nobody’s looking?

 

The root of this is not safety — it’s control.

Emergency powers were never meant to be used this way. They were designed for real, imminent threats — an approaching fire, a collapsing bridge, an outbreak of violence. Not a nice sunny day when people might want to pitch a tent.

 

Nova Scotia’s order applies not just to backcountry campers with fire pits, but to solo hikers, quiet anglers, and berry-pickers. Activities that involve no sparks, no open flames, and no risk. It’s like arresting a man for holding a garden hose because he might start a flood.

 

Let’s also not forget the snitch line — a modern curse that seems to reappear anytime government oversteps. During COVID, it was neighbours reporting on neighbours for having grandma over for tea. Now it’s someone calling the hotline because they saw a guy with a fishing rod. This isn’t community safety — it’s state paranoia. And it breeds distrust, not resilience.

 

The deeper problem here is that Nova Scotians — and Canadians more broadly — have become conditioned to accept this sort of overreach. We were told during the pandemic that extraordinary measures were temporary. Remember “two weeks to stop the spread.” Yet here we are, with summer freedoms shuttered by another round of arbitrary edicts.

 

Houston says you can still go to the beach. How generous.

But freedom in a free country isn’t about asking what you’re allowed to do. It’s about trusting citizens to use common sense, and dealing firmly with the rare few who abuse that trust — like the actual arsonists. Not moms with fishing poles or couples on a hike.

The ban is set to last until October 15, or “until conditions allow them to be lifted.” Translation: whenever the government feels like it.

 

If that sounds like something from a different kind of regime, well, that’s because it is.

Nova Scotia’s wilderness is vast. Its people are proud. And its summers are short. The province needs fire safety plans, yes. But it doesn’t need to burn common sense in the process.

Let people hike. Let them fish. And stop treating Nova Scotians like they’re one bad decision away from burning the province down.

 

That’s not leadership. It’s lunacy.

Is Popular Regime Change in Iran a Myth?

  • A successful popular uprising without external support is not possible in Iran: The mullahs have repeatedly shown that they are willing to kill as many people as necessary to stay in power.

  • During the Twelve-Day War, when Iran's regime was forced to confront an armed adversary, the enforcers who usually beat and abuse unarmed Iranians went into hiding. Their commanders went into hiding. Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei went into hiding. This is what the beginning of regime change looks like.

  • The one scenario that is completely unrealistic, and has never happened, is that unarmed Iranian civilians, without any military support, could overthrow a regime that can even bring in militias from Lebanon, Iraq and Yemen to crush an uprising. When unarmed people confront armed forces, the armed forces win.... There is nothing wrong with overthrowing tyranny with the help of external support, especially when a tyrannical regime is spreading war and chaos throughout the region.

The Twelve-Day War between Iran and Israel is a wake-up call for everyone who has finally had enough of the Iranian regime.

Until now, the Iranian opposition-in-exile and all those hoping for regime change have been waiting for some form of popular uprising from the Iranian people. Such waves of protests have taken place in past years, but each time, the mullahs' regime has become more adept at crushing these revolts, regardless of how much support they received from the international community.


There will be no regime change in Iran without direct external pressure, and the Israeli-American attack on the Iranian regime's structure demonstrated, perhaps for the first time, that this regime can fall.


The idea that unarmed Iranians should go up against the armed Basij militia or the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) was hopeless from the start. Those who imagine a repeat of Iran's 1979 revolution should remember that the monarchy was overthrown by popular protests because Shah Mohammad Reza Pahlavi was unwilling to order a massacre to stay in power. While the Shah's armed forces were used only against the population in extreme circumstances, the mullahs who rule the Islamic Republic of Iran have made it the norm to deploy various armed forces against their own people.


Unarmed Iranians can never overcome the regime's armed enforcers. This regime will not step down voluntarily. They have no respect for human life. A successful popular uprising without external support is not possible in Iran: The mullahs have repeatedly shown that they are willing to kill as many people as necessary to stay in power.

There are also several other reasons why regime change did not occur in Iran. There were no ground forces to finish the job, either from the US, Israel, the Iranian opposition, or from separatist groups. Had the war continued longer and the regime's vulnerability been further exposed, there was a small possibility that parts of the regular Iranian army might have rebelled.


Some parts of the Iranian opposition believe that one path to regime change is for segments of the regime's security apparatus, outside the IRGC and Basij, to lose confidence in the mullahs and turn against the regime.


Historically speaking, "assisted regime change" is more realistic than expecting a popular uprising to overthrow the regime. Even the 1979 revolution in Iran is considered to have succeeded only after the Iranian army declared itself neutral in the political conflict between the Shah's last government and the government appointed by Ayatollah Ruhollah Khomeini.


A revolt from parts of the Iranian military would not come as a surprise. Despite Iran's vast resources and the regime's heavy investment in the military, the Twelve-Day War was a total disaster for Iran. The only institution within the armed forces that benefits financially from this regime is the IRGC. Iran's regular armed forces have been deprioritized in every possible way. In a chaotic situation where it is unclear who is actually running the country or whether the political leadership is even capable of defending it, regime change with the support of the regular armed forces becomes a serious alternative.


The one scenario that is completely unrealistic, and has never happened, is that unarmed Iranian civilians, without any military support, could overthrow a regime that can even bring in militias from Lebanon, Iraq and Yemen to crush an uprising. When unarmed people confront armed forces, the armed forces win.


In the Revolutionary War, Americans had support from the French military to throw off the yoke of the British king. There is nothing wrong with overthrowing tyranny with the help of external support, especially when a tyrannical regime is spreading war and chaos throughout the region.


Iran's regime is weak. The time to act for regime change is now. Regime change can happen if all the necessary conditions are in place. This means Middle East-based exiled Iranian opposition groups that wish to remain relevant must be prepared to move into Iran when armed intervention is needed to aid in regime change. It also means that the countries in the region that want regime change in Iran must facilitate the movement of Iranian opposition groups within and across their borders, and enable them to be armed and trained for such a mission.


The next time Iran is in a war like the recent conflict, Iranian opposition groups must be on the ground, armed and ready to support regime change and exploit the vulnerabilities that emerge in the wake of airstrikes.


It is unlikely that the US, Israel or any other country would deploy ground forces in Iran to fight such a war on behalf of the Iranian people. First, it would be cost dearly in blood and treasure. Second, it is now clear that the MAGA movement and a large part of the American public are unwilling to support politicians who want to send boots-on-the-ground to liberate other countries.


This political dynamic has already begun to shape U.S. foreign policy. Third, Iran's mullahs would not be able to rally the country behind them if it is their own people who fighting for regime change on the ground, even if this happens with American or Israeli support.


During the Twelve-Day War, Iran's regime came closer to collapse than ever before. What was missing was an active agent to carry out the regime change. Iran's ruling mullahs will never become pro-Western or peaceful. More wars will come, and with each one, the regime will grow weaker until it finally falls.


Countries such as the United States and Israel have a crucial role to play in planning for a successful regime change and mobilizing countries that support such a goal, as well as parts of the Iranian opposition-in-exile that are truly prepared to fight for democracy and freedom in Iran.
