💥💥Las Vegas officials looking for attempted murder suspect caught on camera: 💥💥
Officials with the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department revealed on Monday that detectives are looking for a man sought for attempted murder according to KTNV.
At around 2:30 pm on Sunday, a suspect was seen on surveillance footage running from a house in the 2800 block of Faiss Drive, according to the police. In response to a report of a robbery, police were called to the residence near Lake Mead Boulevard and the 215 Beltway.
A journalist from FOX5 spoke with the victim of the attack, an 80-year-old man, who said that the suspect attempted to fire repeatedly.
The victim had just parked his car in the garage when the unidentified suspect approached him and “demanded property,” according to Metro authorities.
“The victim ran away and the suspect chased him with a firearm trying to shoot him,” police said, “however the firearm failed to fire.”
The guy can be seen on camera escaping to a nearby parked automobile and taking off. The car was described as a modern black sedan with tinted windows and black wheels.
Authorities also revealed the incident’s Ring security video where the man can be seen running across the street as the suspect chases him in the dramatic footage. The man manages to flee unscathed after what looks to be repeated attempts by the suspect to discharge the gun at him, according to Fox News.
A Black male between the ages of 18 and 25 is wanted, according to the police. He was last seen with dark jeans, a dark T-shirt, and white running shoes. His car is a modern black sedan with dark tinted windows, black wheels, and black trim, according to News 3 Las Vegas.
Anyone with information about the suspect is urged to call the Summerlin Area Command Investigations division of the LVMPD at 702-828-9455.
