OTTAWA, Ontario (LifeSiteNews) –– Prime Minister Justin Trudeau claimed U.S media personality Tucker Carlson and popular Canadian psychologist Dr. Jordan Peterson are being funded by a Russian-state-funded news site, blaming the foreign nation for “amplifying the chaos” surrounding the 2022 Freedom Convoy protests.
Trudeau made the claim Wednesday during under oath testimony at the Foreign Interference Commission, after he was asked about Russia’s alleged role in the Freedom Convoy.
Trudeau said, while speaking in French, that he “certainly agrees that Russia amplified the chaos, disagreements and divisions in Canada surrounding the convoy.”
Trudeau added that “Russian activities related to propaganda, disinformation and misinformation are quite constant in our social media and within Canadian democracy.” He then claimed that it was “Russian propaganda” that “greatly amplified” opposition to the COVID shots which was spread by “right-wing media.”
He then claimed that Russian state-funded broadcaster Russia Today (RT) was funding Carlson and Peterson, saying, “We saw many of these channels shift to pro-Putin propaganda.”
“We recently saw that RT is funding right-wing bloggers and YouTube personalities in North America,” said Trudeau, adding, “including well-known names like Jordan Peterson or Tucker Carlson to amplify messages that destabilize democracies.”
Trudeau’s comments were immediately blasted by Peterson.
“Hey Russians! Where the hell is my money?!” he wrote on X Wednesday about Trudeau’s accusatory comments.
Peterson’s daughter also took to social media, suggesting that Trudeau’s comments might warrant a lawsuit from her father.

Kamala Harris suddenly becomes a gun owner
Vice President Kamala Harris began rebranding herself to become more palatable to swing state voters after she replaced President Joe Biden in July.
She spent her decades-long political career dating back to her days as San Francisco District Attorney supporting every gun control measure put in front of her.
But now that Kamala was running for President she began talking about how she didn’t want to take anyone’s gun – while still calling for a so-called assault weapons ban – and talking about how she owns a Glock.
“I have a Glock, and I’ve had it for quite some time,” Kamala told 60 Minutes. “My background is in law enforcement. And, so there you go.”
Kamala makes it a point to try and reassure swing state voters that she and Minnesota Governor Tim Walz are gun owners.
Kamala wants to stop anyone else from owning a gun
The Vice President has supported some of the most extreme gun control measures in the country during her political career.
Kamala backed 2005’s Proposition H as San Francisco District Attorney which made it illegal to sell or possess a handgun in the city.
She wrote a brief to the Supreme Court that claimed banning handguns wasn’t a violation of the Second Amendment.
The Supreme Court ruled in 2008’s District of Columbia v. Heller that the Second Amendment allows for the ownership of a handgun for self-defense.
The measure passed but was eventually overturned by the courts for being blatantly unconstitutional.
National Rifle Association Institute for Legislative Action executive director Randy Kozuch told Fox News Digital that Kamala is a career gun grabber to the extreme.
“Throughout her political career, Harris has been rabidly anti-gun and supported measures that prohibit the possession of handguns by law-abiding, peaceable Americans,” Kozuch said. That position is not only radical in modern American politics but goes further than most gun control activists are willing to admit.”
Kamala continued her war on the Second Amendment when she was elected California Attorney General.
She expanded California’s 2001 Unsafe Handgun Act to require that all handguns sold in the state be micro-stamped.
California lawyer Chuck Michel said that change “resulted in the number of models of handguns that are available for people to buy in California going from tens of thousands to just hundreds.”
“The manufacturer has to put this little raised number on the inside of the chamber and on the firing pin so that … if police find the cartridge case at a crime scene, they can try and trace it back to a gun,” Michel explained.
Michel said that Kamala worked to stop efforts to eliminate California’s “good cause” requirement, which requires that any Californian trying to obtain a concealed carry permit prove they have a so-called “good cause” to need a gun.
“Kamala Harris never met a gun control law that she didn’t like,” Michel said. “She supported everything that the extreme progressive San Francisco City Council ever proposed. She tried to limit concealed carry by intervening in a court case to block a Ninth Circuit win. She obviously supported Prop H. And she supported the D.C. handgun ban with an amicus brief in the Heller case that she took the lead on. And she certified microstamping.”

Implications
We have seen that one of the most important duties of a ruler is to restrain the waywardness of the people, using the power given him. To the magistrate is given the sword, to the church ruler is given excommunication, and to parents is given the rod. Those who are given these powers, and who refuse to use them to restrain those under them, become partially guilty when those under them wander into sin. I see several general implications of this teaching.
First, it tells us that people are wayward and prone to wander unless they are under authority
Second, this teaching tells us that the sinfulness of the ruler is such that he will tend not to restrain the people under him. The civil government of the United States today has to a considerable extent forsaken its restraining work, with the result that our citizens are wandering more and more into crime.
Third, Parents tire of using the rod, and seek to excuse their children instead of restraining them. Elders in the church seek any excuse not to restrain wanderers and discipline those who are causing others to wander. The message of the Bible is a serious warning to all those in authority to make sure they take the duty of restraining seriously.
A fourth implication of this study is that the ruler’s essential task is to restrain people from wandering from what the Bible commands, not to direct people into what he thinks they should do.
A fifth implication is that when God gives bad rulers to a society or church, those rulers will not restrain sin. In fact, they may act to restrain righteousness. According to the Bible, when the people wander into sin in such a situation, they are still at fault, but their guilt is lessened.
A sixth implication is that God has given the duty to restrain only to certain people: officers in family, church, and state. When these rulers refuse to restrain, God will step in and do so.
Similarly, Christ is restraining the wicked by causing them to kill their children. If thirty million babies have died since 1973, that is 30,000,000 fewer pagans our children will have to deal with. Over time, the percentage is running favorable to the Kingdom, since Christians don’t kill their babies.
Seventh and finally, if we want to see a return of true restraint in our society, with Godly restrainers in office in our land, we need to pursue that goal in a Godly fashion. Since we have not been ordained as restrainers, we may not take up the sword. And in light of 1 Samuel 8, we must not look an earthly ruler to change the situation. Rather, we must appeal to God, the heavenly Restrainer.

This sudden burst of talk about the Internet being "down" for weeks, is, to many observers, seeding a narrative; placing an excuse in the public mind, in advance, to cover-up what they're actually PLANNING to do.

Bear in mind that many home telephones now use VoIP instead of copper landlines. If the Internet goes down, the phones and faxes connected to the Internet by VoIP all go down too! Also, the CELLULAR system makes use of Internet to route cell calls from tower to tower. Cellular service could still have signal, but no way for the cell tower to actually connect the calls!
MAKE CERTAIN you are prepared with a CB or HAM radio (with antennas) that you can use for local communication. If they take down the net, and the net takes down the phones and Cellphones, that means phones, faxes, and emails are all gone. You'd have NO COMMUNICATION with anyone.
At least if you have a CB in the house, with a small antenna on the roof, you can talk to others 3-5 miles away. If you also put a CB in your family cars, you can talk to family as they are out-and-about doing what they need to do.
But if you do nothing, then you will be S.O.L. when this situation is foist upon all of us.
They're telling us these things for a reason. They don't expect anyone to stop and realize the Internet has not been fried by a sunspot since its widespread inception in the 1990's. There have been other Solar Maximums since then without a global outage, but you're not supposed to stop and realize that when they intentionally pull the plug NOW.
Get prepared with communications gear. DON'T WAIT.
A little Cobra CB radio with AM//SSB is relatively cheap for your car(s). A Wilson 1,000 mobile antenna with magnet mount (no drilling) or trunk lip mount (no drilling) is also cheap - and VERY reliable. I use this antenna on my truck!
For the house, you can take a CB out of the car, hook it up to a 12 volt power supply or even a car battery, and run it in the house. For a home antenna, you can grab a small antenna for $39 - $60 but you also need coaxial cable to run from the CB in the house, to the antenna outside.
DON'T WAIT. Get something now because they're not saying this crap about the Internet being down for weeks or months, for no reason. There's skullduggery afoot. Prepare ! ! ! !
It's clear to many people they're going to shut off the Internet, and blame it on the sun.
