Trump-Vance ticket has done combined 48 Interviews since last month compared to only eight [8] for Harris-Walz:

Former President Trump and his running mate, Sen. JD Vance, R-Ohio, have sat down for at least 48 interviews since the Harris-Walz ticket was formed, compared to just eight non-scripted interviews for the Democratic presidential ticket thus far.

 

Vance did interviews with CNN, Fox News and ABC in the aftermath of Tuesday's ABC News Presidential Debate between Trump and Vice President Kamala Harris, and he also appeared on Fox News' "The Story" on Wednesday. Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz spoke with MSNBC and ABC after the debate, marking just his fourth and fifth solo interviews since joining the Democratic ticket last month.

 

Trump joined Fox News' Sean Hannity afterward for an interview, where he said he felt the ABC debate was "three on one" in criticism of moderators David Muir and Linsey Davis. He also joined "FOX & Friends" on Wednesday morning to react to the debate.

Harris and Walz ended their extended interview drought last month when they talked with CNN's Dana Bash in Georgia after weeks of stonewalling the media. The highly publicized interview was the first time Harris sat down with a journalist since well before she selected Walz on Aug. 6.

 

Harris taped two radio interviews last week with Uforia, the audio network of TelevisaUnivision, and Rickey Smiley, host of the nationally syndicated "Rickey Smiley Show." The Uforia interview aired last week, while the Smiley interview was delayed until Monday due to what the campaign reportedly called "technical difficulties."

 

Walz also spoke last week to WCMU radio in Michigan, in addition to speaking with "The Morning News with Nancy Kman and Jason Barsky" on WILK in Pennsylvania, and "The Chad Holmes Show" on WXCO in Wisconsin.

 

Since Aug. 6, Trump has spoken with Fox News' "Life, Liberty & Levin" host Mark Levin, NBC News, the Daily Mail, Dr. Phil, Fox News’ Alicia Acuna, Hugh Hewitt Radio, FOX Business, podcaster Theo Von, the New York Post, WBRE News Wilkes-Barre, WLOS News 13 Asheville, Univision, and "FOX & Friends" twice. He's also made at least two other cable news appearances and sat down with supporter Elon Musk for a lengthy conversation, according to a Fox News Digital review.

The former president also sat down with podcaster Lex Fridman in an interview that was posted on Tuesday and a New Hampshire radio show on Wednesday, followed by a town hall with Fox News host Sean Hannity.

 

Vance, who has been critical of Harris dodging the press, has spoken to "FOX & Friends," CNN’s John Berman, WBAY2, News 5 Cleveland, NBC News, "Meet the Press," "No Spin News," WALB 10, "CBS Evening News," "The Brett Winterble Show," "Jesse Watters Primetime," "Fox News Sunday," "The Dan O’Donnell Show," ABC’s "This Week," CBS’ "Face the Nation" and CNN’s "State of the Union" over that same time period. 

 

He was interviewed by CNBC on Thursday and also sat for interviews this week with The Shawn Ryan Show and the All-In podcast.

Vance also appeared on Fox News' "The Ingraham Angle" last week and did an interview with supporter Charlie Kirk.

Harris still has not held a formal press conference since replacing President Biden as the Democratic nominee, opting for quick "gaggles" lasting a few minutes and off-the-record sessions with reporters on her campaign plane.

USA Today Washington bureau chief Susan Page believes Americans deserve to hear both candidates answer tough questions. 

 

"I think part of the job description of being president is answering questions, not because reporters have a right to ask them, but because Americans have a right to hear them," Page told Fox News Digital. 

 

"One of the major ways we do that is through interviews and through news conferences. And anybody who is running for president, I think should have the expectation that they're gonna do interviews and news conferences, although they can also do public town halls and other things where they have a chance to talk to Americans," she continued.

 

"You need to communicate, connect with and answer questions of voters if you expect them to vote for you and if you expect them to follow you when you're governing."

Donald Trump has been the target of unprecedented levels of political attack for a President and Presidential candidate in this country.

The media have attacked him daily since 2015, and Democrat lawyers have assailed him with bogus indictments and lawsuits.

 

Despite all of that, the Presidential race against Kamala Harris is virtually tied.

With an honest media, Trump would probably be up five points.

Also, Harris might have reached her high-water mark because she did not receive the customary poll bump coming out of the party convention.

 

Donald Trump’s campaign learned from 2020

In 2020, Joe Biden had a consistent lead over Trump but only won by the skin of his teeth, so a dead heat does not bode well for Harris.

On top of that, Trump has a better ground game operation than he had in 2020.

Republicans are aggressively knocking on doors and registering voters in swing states.

 

Fox News reported that a “conservative grassroots group said Monday they registered 50,000 new voters in two key swing states, as the two major-party presidential nominees prepare to meet for a highly-anticipated debate. Heritage Action for America, which boasts 2 million activists in states across the country, announced that its six-figure, data-driven endeavor to register voters in Georgia and Arizona has been a success.”

 

Georgia and Arizona are two of the most critical swing states in the 2024 election cycle.

Both states have traditionally been Republican, but several factors have put them in the purple category in recent years.

For instance, Arizona is John McCain country, and there are a lot of Republicans there who despise Trump.

Georgia has also welcomed a lot of film and television productions due to tax incentives, which meant an influx of left-leaning voters have relocated to the Peach State.

 

Fox News added that Heritage Action for America “also announced it is considering resourcing another project in the two states to drive voter turnout among those they have just registered. The drive was geared toward conservative voters, not Republicans, Democrats or others on a party-line basis. As a 501c(4) organization, Heritage Action is permitted to back specific legislation but cannot work in support of partisan candidates.”

Focusing on conservative policies makes sense because the Democrats have gone off the deep end when it comes to policy.

 

“Founded in 2010, Heritage Action seeks to work toward conservative policy victories at the state level and trains volunteers and other activists to be ‘sentinels’ in their home states to ‘fight for America’s future,’” Fox News continued.

 

Heritage Action Vice President Ryan Walker said he takes the approach that “every vote matters.”

Walker explained, “Registering as many like-minded voters as possible can and will make the difference between conservatives winning and losing in 2024. . .Heritage Action is proud of our work to register more than 50,000 conservative voters in Georgia and Arizona —and motivated to further our investments in these must-win states.”

Heritage Action President Kevin Roberts pointed out that the Biden-Harris administration’s radicalism has turned off voters.

 

Roberts said, “After he opened our borders, destroyed our economy through overspending and inflation, and invited conflict around the globe with failed foreign policy, voters are eager to fire him for good. . .Heritage Action’s strategic voter registration campaign is finding and equipping the voters needed to ensure conservative majorities in must-win states across the country.”

The more voters in swing states understand how radical Kamala Harris is, the less they like her.

What does AI say about Kamala's Responses in the Debate?

In the Presidential debate between Trump and Harris this week, Harris was asked nine direct questions. Here were the results of those questions. Pay attention to the fact that she did not answer any of the questions asked of her one time. 

 

1.      Vice President Harris, you and President Trump were elected four years ago and your opponent on the stage here tonight often asks his supporters, are you better off than you were four years ago? When it comes to the economy, do you believe Americans are better off than they were four years ago?

 

Vice President Kamala Harris did not directly answer the question about whether Americans are better off economically than they were four years ago. Instead, she pivoted to discussing her personal background, her plans for supporting the middle class, and criticizing her opponent's economic policies. 2.      Vice President Harris, you were tasked by President Biden with getting to the root causes of migration from Central America. Did Kamala Harris wear these Nova H1 Audio Earrings during the presidential debate?

Following a lively debate between presidential candidates Kamala Harris and former President Donald Trump, the internet and social media exploded with claims that Vice President Harris had broken the rules by donning an earpiece disguised as a pair of earrings.


The claims evoke similar reports from the 2020 presidential election that saw President Joe Biden accused of wearing an earpiece during the first of three debates between himself and former President Donald Trump after pictures and video of Biden taken during the debate appeared to show suspicious lines on his shirt that many assumed to be a wire.


High-resolution imagery made available following the event revealed this wasn't the case and the line in question was nothing more than a shirt crease. The accusations were investigated by the Reuters Fact Check team among others, and found to be false.


However, is there any truth to claims surrounding Harris and her choice of jewelry this time around? While Laptop Mag has reached out for comment on the matter, we don't believe so. Here's why.

Nova H1 Audio Earrings: What are they?


Laptop Mag first came across Nova's H1 Audio Earring at CES 2023. While they may look like any other pair of unassuming pearl earrings, the H1 Audio Earring is actually closer to a hands-free Bluetooth earpiece, offering a unique open-ear audio experience not too dissimilar to other modern wearables like the  XREAL Air 2 or Ray-Ban Meta smart glasses.


We cheekily referred to the earrings as a cheater's dream, for their innocuous appearance and potential to be misused by crafty students. However, beyond finding them a fascinating and fun piece of tech-infused fashion, we had little reason to keep the wearables on our radar.


Little did we know that this particular Bluetooth wearable would gain a second wind at last night's presidential debate as some viewers suggested that the presidential candidate had adopted the H1 Audio Earrings for some external support during the verbal back-and-forth.

 

Are these the same earrings worn by Kamala Harris?

While Laptop Mag doesn't typically inject itself into the world of political fact-checking, a recent surge in readers to our original article on the Nova H1 Audio Earrings has posed an interesting question: Did Vice President Kamala Harris wear a pair of the Nova H1 Audio Earrings during last night's presidential debate?

 

Claims that presidential candidate Harris donned a pair of Nova's H1 Audio Earrings during her televised debate with former President Donald Trump quickly spread across social media following the pair's closing statements.


One X user, sharing a pair of images that place the Nova H1 Audio Earrings side-by-side with a screen capture of Harris during the debate, highlights the rapidly circulating claims, stating "Rumors are circulating that Kamala Harris was wearing audio earrings and being fed lines." Before posing the question: "Isn't this against the debate rules?"

 

According to ABC News' rules for the September 10 presidential debate, both candidates were expected to "stand behind podiums for the duration of the debate and no props or pre-written notes will be allowed on stage," which would suggest the forbidding of earpieces.


Further clarifying rules surrounding communication surrounding the event, ABC News stated that "Campaign staff may not interact with candidates during commercial breaks."

 

This would suggest that any communication other than that between candidates and the moderators is forbidden, and would place Harris in hot water if these claims were proven to be true. However, can they be?


Harris has a long history of wearing pearls, so it isn't too difficult to track down images of the Vice President donning the same pair of earrings at a previous event.

 

High-resolution pictures of Harris, taken while delivering remarks to NCAA championship teams (see above), taken earlier this year show her wearing the same earrings as seen during last night's debate, which can clearly be identified as not a pair of the clip-on Nova H1 Audio Earrings.

 

While it's possible to claim that the earrings may have been modified, with the Nova H1's frame being swapped out, it's this part of the device that houses the electronics, which would leave only the pearl behind.


The actual earrings worn by Vice President Kamala Harris during her presidential debate are 18K gold South Sea Pearl Earrings, formally available as part of the Tiffany Hardwear collection (see below).


Outlook

Once again, thanks to higher-resolution imagery, claims of a Democratic candidate donning an earpiece for a debate are proved to be misleading.

While this claim is easy enough to clarify, it's a solid reminder of staying vigilant in the face of bold claims based on low-quality imagery — or even high-quality imagery in an age of generative AI where deepfake images are so easy to create.
