💥 Pastor Tim Stephens on public health:
On Saturday, Pastor Tim Stephens’ Calgary church, Fairview Baptist, was effectively seized by Alberta Health Services. Authorities moved in during the early morning hours and changed all the locks on the building. Pastor Tim was not made aware of the seizure of the church until media outlets contacted him asking about the changing of the locks.
Pastor Tim immediately set to work arranging for a location to host worship on Sunday, and without fail, by Sunday morning worship proceeded without issues. I was fortunate to be able to attend worship at the confidential location, and despite having lost their church building, it was clear that the congregants were full of joy as they worshiped together.
Pastor James Coates’ GraceLife Church was also seized by authorities, so this now makes two churches, two privately owned buildings,being held hostage by overreaching bureaucrats. Many were quick to point out the absurdity of these closures, considering the restriction violations by UCP officials that went unpunished at the Sky Palace in Edmonton the prior week.

Parents are uniting in the Peterborough Victoria Northumberland and Clarington Catholic school board to convince trustees not to follow the poor example of neighboring boards that have chosen to fly the Pride flag.

Hamilton Wentworth Catholic Board Refuses to Fly the Pride Flag
The Hamilton Wentworth Catholic Board has demonstrated unusual resolve among the Catholic boards in totally opposing flying the flag. Trustee Pat Daly stated in an interview that the board's position is not to raise the Pride Flag. Read more about it here.

PAFE supporters turned out to protest the flying of the Pride flag in car rallies throughout the province on June 1.
Some of the local media covering the events recently published stories on the rallies, including Oshawa This Week and the Voice ofPelham (Niagara Region), reprinted below.
The story also made The National at the CBC, which reported “Some parents and church leaders say flying the flag goes a step too far." They played footage from the PAFE Toronto rally of cars circling the Toronto Catholic Board bearing signs saying “The cross is the only SIGN you need” and “Truth = Man and Woman”. In an interview, Archbishop Marcel Damphousse said, “For them to say well, I want to live a life according to what Pride, the Gay pride flag and movement promotes, well, I’m sorry but that’s not in line with our Catholic teaching.”

Statement from Ottawa Archbishop, Marcel Damphousse
In a statement issued by the Ottawa Archbishop on the local Catholic school board's decision to fly the flag, he asks the question, “How should we react? What are we to understand about the current state of our Catholic schools in Ontario?”
He informs Catholics who have been upset by the decision to fly the flag that he doesn’t have legal power over the schools: “I can only exert my influence on religious education and moral issues. I did this at the Trustees’ meeting itself.”
He requests people not to react reflexively and to give him time “to acquire the facts to better understand the state of things. Time to consult and ask all the necessary questions.”
He says he wants to assure every one of his personal commitment “to accompanying the stakeholders at all levels to ensureCatholicity in our schools.” He recognizes that the Church has failed to ensure the proper formation of teachers and staff. “There are many good people who are well intentioned in our school boards. It is a matter of accompanying them well. Perhaps we have missed the mark in this regard. I think it is important to recognize where, as a Church, we have not done everything possible to educate, train and prepare people for mission. It is never too late to start.”

Canada finds itself peerless among its G7 counterparts over a lack of firm commitment to share excess COVID-19 vaccines with low-income countries ahead of today’s summit in Cornwall. Britain and the United States unveiled a joint pledge yesterday, committing to donate 600 million doses in total to countries whose inoculation campaigns are in need of a boost.
Like Canada, Britain initially resisted calls to send extra supplies abroad, saying it was not quite ready to make a commitment. But on the eve of the three-day summit, British Prime Minister Boris Johnson said his country will be sending more than five million doses to the poorest countries by the end of September. The remaining 95 million doses will be sent over the coming months and into 2022.

There was a moment of sheer hilarity earlier today when, during a Congressional Hearing, the CEO of Colonial Pipeline Joseph Blount took the merely farcical episode of the Colonial Pipeline ransomware hack - when, as a reminder, a ragtag band of elite "Russian" hackers somehow managed to penetrate the company's cyberdefenses but was so stupid it left most if not all of the $4.4 million bitcoins it demanded in ransom in an easily traceable address for the FBI to track down and magically confiscate (it is still unclear how the Feds got the private key to access the "hackers" digital wallet) in days if not hours - and elevated it to a level of sheer ridiculous absurdity when he told Congress that he didn't consult the FBI before paying the ransom.
Kamala Harris blasted for weak response to border questions:
💥 Vice President Kamala Harris was blasted by Americans on Tuesday after her weak response to visiting the nation’s southern border during the growing immigration crisis.
During an interview with NBC’s Lester Holt, Harris was asked when she would visit the border.
Harris responded, “We’ve been to the border. We’ve seen the border.”

When Holt answered, “You haven’t been to the border,” highlighting he had personally asked about her own travel.

💥 Dozens of Baltimore Businesses Threaten Not To Pay Taxes
It comes as no surprise to readers that dozens of Baltimore City businesses, located in the Inner Harbor, in a stretch called "Fells Point," are threatening the new city government, run by Mayor Brandon Scott, with not paying their taxes because they are "fed up and frustrated" with the outburst of violence.
In a letter titled "Letter to City Leaders From Fells Point Business Leaders," addressed to Mayor Brandon Scott, Council President Nick Mosby, Councilman Zeke Cohen, Madam State's Attorney Marilyn Mosby, and Commissioner Michael Harrison, the 37 restaurants and small businesses are threatening to stop paying city taxes and other fees until "basic and essential municipal services are restored."

💥 Prior to former President Donald Trump’s election win in 2016, Chris Wallace was not seen as left or right-leaning. By the observation of many, including the former president, Wallace’s political leanings have become overwhelmingly obvious in the past five years.
According to Newsmax, Trump fired shots at the 18-year Fox News anchor on Monday in a statement issued through his “Save America PAC,” rhetorically asking why it is that Fox News hasn’t yet terminated the “almost radical left” anchor.
Trump is known for not holding back in his criticism of people he does not like, especially in the mainstream media world. His Monday statement made clear that he is certainly not a fan of Wallace, who has been one of the few anchors at Fox News who has repeatedly challenged Trump and those within his inner circle.

💥 I just heard the former CEO of McDonalds on Fox and Friends this morning say, that the price of a case of chicken has gone from roughly $40 to $130 in two weeks! He went on to say that those who are running the government have not a clue when it comes to economics. I think they are clueless in a hell of a lot more areas than just economics.

As an aside, if Lewis is referring to Warren Buffett, he owns the BNSF (Burlington National – Santa Fe) railroad which ships petroleum products and is a Biden buddy. BNSF uses tank cars to inefficiently carry products compared to the safer, cheaper pipeline.

Morning Update: Keystone XL pipeline project scrapped in blow to Alberta
TC Energy Corp. is terminating the Keystone XL pipeline, ending a project that appeared to have run out of options after Joe Biden pulled its permit as one of his first official acts as U.S. President.
The Calgary-based company’s decision on Wednesday formally ends a 13-year regulatory odyssey that saw the proposed pipeline blocked twice by former president Barack Obama and revived by his successor Donald Trump. The project’s cancellation is a significant blow to Alberta, whose economy has struggled in the face of constrained pipeline access and whose government bought an ownership stake last year.
Keystone XL, which had become a focal point for climate change activists in Canada and the U.S., was designed to ship 830,000 barrels of crude a day along a 1,947-kilometre route from Hardisty, Alta., to Steele City, Neb. It would have given Alberta oil companies a long-sought direct route to refineries on the U.S. Gulf Coast.

Anyway, actually, this is one reason I’m optimistic. BIDEN COLLECTED CASH FROM RUSSIAN LOBBYIST RIGHT BEFORE APPROVING PIPELINE:
💥 President Joe Biden received a sizable campaign contribution from a Russian lobbyist just months before declining to enforce sanctions on a Russian firm building the Nord Stream 2 pipeline, according to a report.
“He was not flagged during our vetting process,” a spokesperson for the Democratic National Committee told the New York Post regarding McLarty Associates Managing Partner Richard Burt, confirming the donation.
Burt, a former Republican and U.S. ambassador to Germany in the 1980s, made a pair of donations to assist Biden’s presidential election: a $4,000 contribution to Biden’s Victory Fund just ahead of the 2020 presidential election and a $10,000 donation to Unite The Country, a liberal political action committee, in March 2020.
“When Richard Burt donated to Biden Victory Fund, he failed to acknowledge that he was a registered foreign agent and was therefore ineligible to contribute,” the spokesman said. “Because Burt also listed a different employer than on his [Foreign Agents Registration Act] registration, he was not flagged during our vetting process.”
Biden violated his own campaign’s pledge not to accept lobbyist cash when he took the payment, and Burt actively lobbies for five European energy companies (ENGIE, OMV, Shell, Uniper, and Wintershall Dea) that are partnering together to construct the NordStream 2 pipeline.
The DNC confirmed they ultimately returned the funds.

• 2011: corrupt payments to physicians in Greece
• 2010: buying off officials in Greece, Poland and Romania.
• 2013 & 2016: paid billions to compensate victims of their flawed products.
• 2008: engaged in a “phantom recall” when its Motrin IB caplets were discovered to not properly dissolve, J&J hired outside contractors to buy up store supplies in order to avoid making public declaration.
• 1995: paid a $7.5 million fine for destroying docu ments to cover up an investigation into wrongful mar keting of its Retin-A acne cream.
• 2001: Paid out $860 million in a class action law suit for misleading customers about prematurely dis carding its 1-Day Acuvue soft contact lens. J&J recom mended they should be worn only once, although it was discovered the lenses were no different than the regular Acuvue lens that would last for two weeks.
• 2010: paid a $81 million settlement for misbrand ing its anti-epileptic drug Topamax to treat psychiatric disorders and hired outside physicians to join its sales force to promote the drug for unapproved conditions. The following year, J&J paid $85 million for similar charges against its heart drug Natrecor.
• 2011: Several J&J baby products were discovered to contain carcinogenic ingredients.
• 2013: The U.S. Justice Department charged the com pany $2.2 billion in criminal fines for marketing its autism and anti-psychotic drug Risperdal for unap proved uses.
• 2019: ordered to pay $465 million for its role in Oklahoma’s opioid epidemic. While J&J’s rap sheet is long Pfizer has the distinction of the biggest criminal payout in history. The company lost so many lawsuits it’s hard to count. Below is a list of just some Psizer’s crimes:
• 2009: paid a record $2.3 billion to settle federal charge es for mis-promoting medicines not approved by medical regulators (Bextra) and paying kick-backs to compliant doctors.
• 1996: paid $10.75 million to settle Justice Department claims that the company lied to get federal approval for a mechanical heart valve that has been fracturing, killing hundreds of people.
• 2004: reached a $60 million settlement of a class action lawsuit over its Rezulin diabetes drug that resulted in liver failure and death. • 2016: fined £85 million by the UK government for overcharging the NHS 2600%
• 2004: paid more than $430 to resolve criminal charges and civil liabilities for manipulating the publication of scientific studies to bolster the use of its epilepsy drug Neurontin for other disorders, while suppressing research that did not support those uses. They also paid physicians to prescribe the drug for other disorders and partook in racketeering in the marketing of the drug.
Pfizer:
During the investigation, they admitted to paying $20 million to 4,500 doctors and other medical professionals for consulting and speaking on its behalf just in the last 6 months of 2009. Pfizer also paid $15.3 million to 250 academic medical centers and other research groups for clinical trials.
• 2012: US Securities and Exchange commission reached a $45 million settlement with Pfizer to resolve charges that its subsidiaries bribed overseas doctors to increase foreign sales.
• 2001: paid over $75 million dollars for breaking inter national laws for conducting an “illegal trial of an unregistered drug” after Nigerian families accused the company of testing 2 dangerous new antibiotics (Trovan & Ceftriaxone) without parents’ consent and using their children as human guineapigs. 11 children died, and other suffered brain damage, paraly sis, and hearing loss. Pfizer also pledged to donate and distribute $50 million worth of AIDS drugs, but never did. And more recently with the COVID-19 vaccine, Pfizer is demanding that countries that don’t have liability protection put up collateral to cover vaccine-injury lawsuits. They have even demanded military bases as guarantee.
AstraZeneca:
Finally, AstraZeneca has similarly lost so many law suits it’s hard to count. Many of their crimes are related to fraudulent marketing. The company had its COVID vaccine suspended in at least 18 countries over concerns of a rare form of blood clot occurring in young women, and it completely botched its meeting with the FDA when numbers from their study didn’t match. And then Johnson & Johnson and AstraZenca, had a little mix up in their ingredients in 15 million doses.

Several months ago, President Joe Bidentasked Vice President Kamala Harris with investigating the “root causes” of the illegal immigration surge from Central American countries.
According to Fox News, former Acting Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) Director Tom Homan said this week that Harris’ trip to Guatemala and Mexico were a waste of time because the “root cause” of the migration surge is Biden, thanks to his early actions in office in which he reversed essentially every immigration policy set in place by former President Donald Trump — policies that actually worked.
The former director made clear that had Biden refrained from nixing Trump-era policies that kept the migration surge to manageable numbers, America wouldn’t be facing the crisis that it currently does.
He went on to add that Biden’s administration was warned of the possibility of a surge by the very men and women who work the front lines at the border.
