In looking at History it would appear that, the Church was at its best when it was being Persecuted... under Suffering as the Master suffered... If they have persecuted me, they will also persecute you; if they have kept my saying, they will keep yours also. So, why does the Church look to be Raptured before the Tribulation, when the World is going to need them here the most. AFTER WRITING MY REBUTTAL BELOW, I DECIDED TO SEARCH FOR INFORMATION ABOUT THE "SPEAKER" IN THE VIDEO, JOURNALIST ALEX NEWMAN.  VERY INTERESTING RESULTS!  SEE MY COMMENTS AT THE BOTTOM OF THIS EMAIL.

 

Thank you, Fred, for sending me this video which tears apart the integrity of Tucker's interview with Putin.  I always like to hear "the other side of the story".   Here is my rebuttal of what the speaker (Alex Newman) had to say.

 

Yes, Putin was in the KGB, and in Freemasonry too.  Then he saw through it.  He became disillusioned just like other Communists and KGB officers who discovered what Communism was really like.  A couple defected; to write books about it.  They "saw the light" just like I did after I got into the Science of Mind, astrology, ouji boards, spirit meetings and the power of "positive thinking" (it's actually demonic) then moved on to discover Jesus. 


Don't get me wrong.  I believe Putin is about as Christian as Constantine (meaning he has great respect for the Faith and may come to Jesus personally before he dies).   I do like the fruit on the tree of Russia today just like the Christians liked the benefits Constantine gave them after the persecution of his predecessors.  More Christian friendly legislation every year.  

 

The video host labelled Putin as pro-Communist, because of the statement below.  But notice how Putin describes Communism as having great Christian "ideology" (ideals) but then it fell away and "a new religion was being created" (not Christian).  The last sentence should have been highlighted, not the first, but no viewer would get that far in the paragraph when the video flashes it so quickly.  I had to stop it and take a screen shot.  The speaker also reads the second and third sentences but not the last.  That's distortion!


It's true, what he said, that no Communist leaders were arrested and jailed, but neither did Trump do that with the criminal actors in the Deep State.  It's because Putin had to consolidate his power while the Commies became the new oligarchs, hiring their own private security etc.  So, Putin waited and then systematically began arresting them for becoming a criminal mafia.  

 

The speaker (Alex Newman) in the video portrays Putin's "Eurasian" dream as being at war with the west, but nothing could be further from the truth.  Putin has repeatedly tried to make peace with the west.  That came out in the Tucker Carlson interview in great detail.  

 

The speaker also distorts Putin's position on the UN.  Putin, like Jesus, believes you should "agree with your adversary quickly" (Matthew 5:25) to avoid the terrible consequences of a confrontation.  Putin praises the idealistic goals of the UN to be a platform to solve conflicts before they become wars.  But the speaker neglects to mention that Russia never joined the UN.  That too is dishonest analysis by the speaker.

 

HERE'S THE RESULT OF MY SEARCH FOR INFO ABOUT ALEX NEWMAN:

First and foremost, this man has more good credits to his name than any journalist I've ever come across!  He has contributed to just about every right-wing blog and publication imaginable.  Absolutely amazing credentials to impress any right-winger.  See them on this website which is his own publication:


Now, what seems very odd about all this is that I could not find one critical article or report about him.  NOT ONE.  Not even on Wikipedia which typically punches holes in right wing writers and authors.  In fact, I couldn't find anything on Wikipedia about him!  I searched Wikipedia for New American for which Alex is senior editor.  And believe it or not, his name doesn't even appear in the Wikipedia description!  In other words, this guy appears to be too good.  He opposes everything I oppose with the exception of Putin.  Isn't that odd?  He's been on a mission to discredit Putin for years and years.  And that to me is an oxymoron.

Supreme Court justices all indicate support for Trump's arguments against Colorado ballot exclusion case:

Justices on the U.S. Supreme Court, including Democrat-appointed ones, were sympathetic to former President Donald Trump's arguments during court proceedings Thursday, Fox News reported. The high court is mulling whether Colorado can lawfully exclude the former president from the state's ballot.

 

Trump is facing an effort to keep him off of the 2024 presidential ballots in several states, including Colorado and Maine, the Associated Press reported. The rationale is that Trump allegedly participated in an insurrection on Jan. 6, 2021.

The question before the court is whether the Civil War-era prohibition on electing public officials who "engaged in insurrection" is constitutional. The Colorado Supreme Court has already ruled that Section 3 of the 14th Amendment, where the provision is found, indeed applies to Trump.


Trump winning with everyone

As proceedings unfolded, it became apparent that even the most left-leaning judges were uneasy with the idea of kicking the leading Republican candidate off the ballot. Justice Elena Kagan, who was appointed by former President Barack Obama, questioned "why a single state should decide who gets to be president of the United States."

Many of the other justices similarly agreed with examining this underlying question in the case. The justices also stayed away from determining whether Trump indeed "engaged in insurrection," which could indicate that they've made up their minds that no state can exclude a candidate anyway.

 

Their decision could come before the Super Tuesday primaries held in Colorado, Maine, and 13 other states on March 5. Jonathan Mitchell, Trump's attorney, made several compelling arguments which the justices seemed to agree with.

One notable exception was Justice Sonia Sotomayor, another Obama appointee, who seemed less enamored with Mitchell's arguments. Still, Sotomayor hinted that she might not uphold the lower court's ruling after all.

 

The decision in the Colorado case will likely mean that the other states attempting to follow suit will abandon their effort to throw Trump out of the race. The former president seemed thrilled with how things were going for him.

He called the proceeding "a beautiful thing to watch in many respects," even as he rightly pointed out that it was a battle he shouldn't have to fight. "I hope that democracy in this country will continue," Trump said.

 

However, even if Trump prevails in this case, it won't mean his legal problems are completely over. He is also seeking the Supreme Court's help in overturning a lower court's ruling that found he was not entitled to immunity under presidential privilege.


Battle far from over

According to a separate Fox News report, a federal appeals court ruled against Trump earlier this week as the former president fought special prosecutor Jack Smith's election interference case. The trial will be delayed as Trump's challenge to the underlying immunity question will head to the nation's highest court.

The issue of presidential immunity is almost as important as the insurrection question. Trump campaign spokesman Steven Cheung warned that dispensing with presidential immunity will hurt more than just Trump.

"If immunity is not granted to a President, every future President who leaves office will be immediately indicted by the opposing party," Cheung said. "Without complete immunity, a President of the United States would not be able to properly function!"

 

Trump is facing many legal battles where the decisions made could have a ripple effect on future presidents. It will be a welcomed miracle if the Supreme Court rules in his favor, both for Trump and for the nation.

Last Wednesday, the state capitol of Arizona experienced a shocking group of visitors.

 

State Senator Juan Mendez (D) welcomed and honored a group of Satanists at the capitol during a committee hearing.

He expressed how they are experiencing “arbitrary” and “tyrannical” persecution because of their religion.

“Members, I would like to introduce a group of Arizonans, some from my district, but they have membership all across the state,” Mendez said

“They are here today to confront the arbitrary, tyrannical authority of religious persecution that’s scheduled for government committee later on today.”

“We are graced with the presence of ministers and members of the Satanic Temple of Arizona.”

He also added that the group of Satanists are

“at the Capitol today to fight for the rights of their more than 12,000 members of their denomination and the rights of free speech and free exercise of all Arizonans.”

Sen. Mendez also oddly said that the group holds and practices religious values that include, “compassion, justice, bodily autonomy, free speech, science, humility, and noble action.”

“They actively do outreach and community service and participate in public affairs where their issues might benefit from their rational, satanic insights.”

It’s hard to imagine the word “rational” being in the same sentence as “satanic,” but Mendez somehow found a way to put them together.

Mendez continued, stuttering in the process, to say that, “The mission of the satanic temple is to encourage belovenance and empathy among all people. They embrace practical common sense and justice. They are guided by their conscience to undertake noble pursuits that fulfill their religious values…I welcome them to the floor today.”


“And in the committee hearing on the bill, one of the Satanists concluded his testimony with a hearty ‘HAIL SATAN!'” one X user said in response to the clip of Mendez introducing the Satanists.


This seems like a low point even for Democrats.

How can one rationally invite a group of Satan worshippers to the capitol and think that they have “noble pursuits?”

Apparently, Mendez thinks so.

Russia targets Kharkiv, Odesa in biggest drone attack of month:

Russia attacked the northeastern city of Kharkiv and the Odesa region close to Ukraine’s border with Romania overnight with at least 31 drones, the largest UAV strike so far in February.

 

The drones targeted port infrastructure in the border region as well as civilian targets, according to the Ukrainian Interior Ministry and local governors.

Russia has kept up attacks all winter with hundreds of drones and missiles targeting regions across Ukraine since late December, as the invasion of its neighbor nears the two-year mark with no clear end in sight.


Shahed drones hit a fuel filling station in Kharkiv, Ukraine’s second largest city, causing a fire in which seven people died and 15 private homes were destroyed or damaged, mayor Ihor Terekhov and regional governor Oleh Syniehubov said on Telegram.

 

The casualties from the fire included a family with three children aged between 6 months and 7 years who were killed in their home. Three people were injured.

The Odesa region came under three waves of drone attacks, injuring four people, governor Oleh Kiper said on Telegram. Nine UAVs were downed but debris fell on a technical building which is a part of Odesa port infrastructure.


Later in the night, drones targeted port infrastructure on the Danube River, which forms part of the border between Ukraine and Romania. Industrial and service facilities, roads, trucks, and passenger cars as well as private homes were damaged in Izmail, a large port in Ukraine’s Danube delta region.

 

Ukraine’s Air Force intercepted 12 drones in the area and total 23 drones were downed in the Odesa and Kharkiv regions in total.

Romania scrambled an F-16 jet of the Turkish Air Force stationed at an air base close to the border for air reconnaissance missions in response to the latest drone attacks. No debris or unauthorized entry of Romanian airspace were reported, the defense ministry said in a statement on Saturday.


Poland earlier this week activated aircraft when Russian cruise missiles were fired in the direction of Ukraine’s western border and hit a facility about 70 kilometers (43 miles) away from Polish territory.

Russian forces continue pressing on the battlefield in Ukraine’s east, making small advances in areas such as Avdiivka, where 21 Russian attacks were repelled in the past 24 hours, the General Staff said on Facebook.

As the May deadline approaches for finalizing negotiations between the World Health Organization (WHO) and its 194 member nations over how much authority they will cede to the WHO once it declares a global health emergency, many health and policy experts are urging the Biden administration not to sign the United States up to the agreement.

 

In February 2023, WHO member states negotiated the “Zero Draft” of a new treaty, which wasn’t identified as a treaty but rather as the “WHO convention, agreement or other international instrument on pandemic prevention, preparedness and response (WHO CA+).”

 

This WHO CA+, which functions as a treaty, has gone through an opaque process of negotiation and amendments ever since, from which the public has been essentially excluded, with the goal of signing it this year.

 

Among the goals for the United States, as set by the Biden administration, are to “strengthen the global health security architecture, including WHO strengthening, and engage in ongoing negotiations to amend the IHR and develop a Pandemic Accord.”

 

A Dec. 30, 2023, White House fact sheet states, “Global health security is vital for international security and solidarity, and cannot be achieved alone.”

In UN law, “genocide” encompasses a broad range of actions, including killing any number of people in a defined group, even a single person, or causing serious mental harm to a member of the group. This expansive definition implies that nations involved in any conflict, anywhere, at any time could potentially face allegations of “genocide.”
