Prayers That Really Work:
In the early morning, while it was still dark, Jesus got up, left the house, and went away to a secluded place, and was praying there.--Mark 1:35
Mark 1 records the busiest day in Jesus’s ministry. His entire calendar was filled on this day. Jesus started early in the morning teaching the masses, and then He healed people and cast out demons until late at night. I imagine that evening when Jesus finally dropped into bed, He was dead tired. But what I find most interesting about Jesus’s busiest day is what happened the next day. Mark wrote, “In the early morning, while it was still dark, Jesus got up, left the house, and went away to a secluded place, and was praying there” (1:35).
As Christians, we often focus so much on Jesus’s deity that we forget about His humanity. Yes, Jesus was 100 percent God, but He was also 100 percent human. He had the same physical needs and weaknesses we do. Jesus experienced hunger and thirst; He had to eat and drink. He probably woke up some mornings with a sore throat. And Jesus got tired.
I’m sure you can relate to the bone-deep exhaustion He must have felt the next morning after spending an entire day in nonstop ministry. I imagine when the alarm clock went off at 4 a.m., every fiber of Jesus’s being wanted to hit snooze. And He had every excuse for sleeping in. After all, He had just spent the previous day serving God; He could have stayed in bed and rationalized it by saying, “God, I’m Your Son. Look at all I did for You yesterday. Surely You want Me to get My rest. Why don’t We just skip Our morning time together today?”
But that’s not what Jesus did. Even though He was as tired as you and I are in the early morning, He got up because He knew prayer was essential. If Jesus Christ, the Son of God, felt it absolutely necessary to make prayer a priority in His life, how much more essential is prayer for people like you and me?
A few months ago, we studied the importance of developing a praying heart. If we want to be like Jesus and experience the supernatural power He experienced, then we need to be people of prayer. Beginning this week, we’re going to study the example of Jesus and learn to pray the way He taught us.

Nostalgia Pain Relief:
Viewing Images from Childhood Reduces Pain Perception:
Researchers discovered that nostalgia triggers the thalamus to relieve pain, revealing a brain mechanism for nostalgia-induced analgesia, offering potential for non-drug pain management.
Ever noticed that looking at photos of good times with family or friends diminishes the pain of your headache? Nostalgia has already been shown to be helpful with pain relief, and a new study has now revealed the thalamocortical mechanism for nostalgia-induced analgesia.
Led by Dr. KONG Yazhuo from the Institute of Psychology of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, the research team found that the thalamus, a critical brain region for pain modulation, is also related to the analgesic effect associated with nostalgia.
Nostalgia, a sentimental longing for one’s past, is a self-conscious, perhaps bittersweet but predominantly positive social emotion. Nostalgia helps us maintain a positive psychological status when counteracting the negative impact of difficult situations. The adaptive functions of nostalgia are many, with one effect being pain relief.
In the current study, a nostalgia-related functional MRI paradigm (i.e., nostalgia vs. control cues when people were viewing pictures) was combined with heat-pain stimulation (i.e., low heat vs. high heat when people were feeling pain) to examine how brain responses elicited by pain stimulation were modulated after people experienced nostalgic emotion.
After observing triggers of childhood memories, participants reported experiencing weaker feelings of pain in response to the thermal stimuli, particularly at low stimulus intensities.
Most importantly, the anterior thalamus encoded nostalgia, and the posterior parietal thalamus encoded pain perception. Anterior thalamic activation can predict posterior parietal thalamus activation. “The thalamus plays a key role as a central functional linkage in the analgesic effect,” said Dr. ZHANG Ming, first author of the study.
When people were looking at pictures, the strength of the nostalgia they experienced was also strongly associated with connectivity between the thalamus and the periaqueductal gray (PAG), an area of gray matter found in the midbrain. In this situation, coupling between PAG and the dorsal-lateral prefrontal cortex predicted pain perception when people were feeling pain. This indicates that the thalamus modulates nociceptive inputs and plays a crucial role in triggering the brain-stem analgesic pathway.
Sometimes people experience mild clinical pain that’s uncomfortable, but not enough to require medication. In these cases, non-drug analgesic pain relief methods can be helpful or even necessary.
This study sheds light on the neural mechanisms underlying nostalgia-induced pain relief, providing novel insights into the further development and improvement of non-drug, psychological analgesia.

Last week, CBC teamed up with a Liberal MP to demonize a little-known American Christian rock singer and church leader named Sean Feucht.
This is a routine drive-by-smear that has become commonplace from the state broadcaster.

They claim Feucht is "MAGA" — as if he's on a political tour promoting President Trump. He isn't.

Here is how CBC conducts its "journalism": they interview three local residents who all parrot the same concerns... no doubt because the Liberal MP and CBC told them to.
Otherwise, why would they care if a local church was hosting a service in the park with an American guest preacher?
In truly Orwellian fashion, the Liberal MP says she supports “the value of free speech”, but also that Feucht’s values don’t align with CBC/Liberal values and therefore the event needs to be shut down.
War is Peace. Freedom is Slavery. Ignorance is Strength.
According to Juno News, the CBC’s smear campaign has led to events cancelled in 6 cities across eastern and central Canada. That’s the power of a CBC hit job.
Last weekend, Feucht arrived in Montreal, and so the CBC intensified its propaganda.
They decided you need a special permit to sing inside a church, and their activism led the woke mayor of Montreal to issue a $2500 fine to the church.
A woke mob, aka loyal CBC readers, showed up to protest church-goers in Montreal. Feucht thanked Montreal police, stating they warned him about the “anti-Christian bigotry” in the city.
Nice reputation.
That led to a viral exchange where a CBC journalist told Feucht he’s in trouble because he doesn’t have a permit.
“I don’t think you need a permit to worship in a church,” Feucht shot back.
Next, one of CBC’s radicalized followers took matters into his own hands, and interrupted the church service by throwing smoke bombs on stage. Feucht calmly removes the smoke bomb and carried on his service.
CBC didn’t cover this part, of course, since it’s counter to their black & white world view.
Christians, Americans = bad
All things woke = good
Thankfully, there were real journalists in attendance. The Rebel caught the bomb-throwing thug on tape and are now trying to find the perpetrator.
As I’ve mentioned on my show and on social media but it bears repeating, this is a CRIME in Canada:
To recap, CBC:
· invented this controversy
· urged local bureaucrats to de-platform Feucht
· mobilized Antifa – who committed crimes
· ignored crimes committed because of their reporting
And, then without a hint of irony, they wrote yet another story about Feucht — this time, warning of the harms of censorship that came AS A RESULT of their activist-journalism.
This is where things go from bad to worse for the CBC. Despite their deranged activism and blatant hypocrisy, many Canadians are rallying around Sean Feucht.
The CBC does not like this one bit. So they accuse Feucht of, get this, of capitalizing on the controversy.
What else is he supposed to do? Ignore the dozens (yes DOZENS) of hit pieces the CBC has written against him? Abandon his Canadian audience? Turn away fans who are disgusted by the CBC’s activism?
To say the CBC is obsessed with this guy is an understatement.
It's important to note the Sean Feucht has been touring in Canada for years, with few people ever hearing about him — until CBC started its campaign last week. And yes, it is BACKFIRING on the woke activists.
So, let’s count the ways it’s backfiring on the CBC:
1. Sean Feucht is basically a household name in Canada now
2. His shows are selling out and crowds are bigger than ever
3. Politicians in B.C. and Alberta are writing open letters in support of him and demanding that his church services be allowed to continue.
4. As he pointed out on social media, there are consequences for countries that censor Americans… could Canada be added to this list? It would certainly be in character for President Trump to announce such a thing.

This is why independent media is so important.

Trump’s US Attorney Jeanine Pirro Learns Her fate After Dems Pull Outrageous Stunt:
Despite partisan gridlock and failed negotiations over a broader slate of confirmations, the U.S. Senate on Saturday confirmed President Donald Trump’s nominee, Jeanine Pirro, as U.S. Attorney for the District of Columbia — a critical post at the heart of the federal justice system.
Pirro, a former Westchester County District Attorney, judge, and widely respected Fox News host, was one of over 150 Trump administration nominees held up in the Senate. While Republicans had hoped to push through a larger group of confirmations over the weekend, opposition from Democrats and unresolved discussions led to only seven confirmations before the Senate adjourned until September.
Confirmed by a 50–45 vote, Pirro has been serving in the role on an interim basis since May. Her confirmation is a significant win for the Trump administration, as reported by Fox News.
Before joining the Trump administration, Pirro spent more than a decade as District Attorney in Westchester County, New York, and previously served as a county judge. Her experience and strong prosecutorial record have earned her national recognition.
“Jeanine is incredibly well-qualified for this position, and is considered one of the Top District Attorneys in the History of the State of New York,” President Trump said when announcing her nomination. “She is in a class by herself.”
Pirro was not the president’s initial choice for the role. His first nominee, conservative activist Ed Martin, failed to gain enough Republican support due to concerns expressed by retiring Sen. Thom Tillis (R-NC), who questioned Martin’s views on the events of January 6, 2021.
Despite her proven legal credentials, Senate Democrats fiercely opposed Pirro’s nomination, largely because of her vocal support for President Trump and her defense of election integrity following the 2020 election. They warned she would carry out Trump’s law-and-order agenda in the nation’s capital — a criticism often absent when Democratic presidents appoint loyalists to top prosecutor roles.
During her confirmation process, Democrats on the Senate Judiciary Committee walked out in protest not only of Pirro but also of Judge Emil Bove, who was confirmed days earlier by a narrow 50–49 vote. Pirro’s nomination advanced out of committee strictly along party lines.
Critics cited Pirro’s defense of President Trump in the aftermath of the January 6 Capitol protest, as well as her amplification of questions surrounding the 2020 election. Yet those concerns are increasingly being revisited in light of recent statements by Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard, who hinted last week that new evidence could substantiate concerns raised about that election.
In an interview with conservative commentator Benny Johnson, Gabbard confirmed that the 2020 election was “compromised” and that U.S. intelligence agencies were aware of serious vulnerabilities — but failed to act.
“I’ve got a long list of things that we’re investigating. We have the best going after this, election integrity being one of them,” Gabbard reportedly said during a high-level Cabinet meeting with President Trump earlier this year.
She noted credible signs that both foreign and domestic actors may have attempted to manipulate vote totals, reinforcing Trump’s longstanding calls for election reform. “We have evidence of how these electronic voting systems have been vulnerable to hackers for a very long time and vulnerable to exploitation to manipulate the results of the votes being cast,” she told the president in April. “Which further drives forward your mandate to bring about paper ballots across the country so that voters can have faith in the integrity of our elections.”
In her interview, Gabbard also referenced a whistleblower from the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) who revealed that federal authorities were aware of these vulnerabilities prior to the 2020 election but chose not to disclose them to the public or the administration.
“What was interesting was seeing how this whistleblower brought forward information that CISA—at that time, the federal government—was aware of vulnerabilities in our election machines, but they chose not to disclose that information to the American people or to the administration at that time,” she stated.
When pressed by Johnson on whether more information regarding the 2020 election would be released, Gabbard confirmed: “Yes.”
As Pirro steps into her permanent role as D.C.’s chief federal prosecutor, she brings a no-nonsense approach that aligns with President Trump’s law-and-order priorities and reflects growing public demand for accountability, transparency, and renewed faith in America’s justice system.

Over the past decade, French society has become a battleground for two parallel developments: a dramatic rise in Muslim antisemitism – in mosques, schools, on the streets, and online – and the creeping implementation of Sharia law into daily life, eroding the foundational values of the republic.
Macron is well aware of the statistics: Over 70% of antisemitic attacks in France are carried out by Islamist extremists. Yet he chooses to obscure the truth, attributing the violence to “social issues,” “alienation from government,” or “cries for help.”
“Alienation from government”? “Cries for help?” Is that why Muslims tortured to death, over three weeks, Ilan Halimi, stabbed to death 65-year old Sara Halimi and threw her body out the window, stabbed the 84-year-old Holocaust survivor Mireille Knoll, and then set her on fire? Was Mohammed Merah “crying for help” when he shot to death Rabbi Jonathan Sandler and his two sons Gavriel, 6, and Aryeh, 3, as well as 8-year-old Miriam Monsonego?
Was it a “cry for help” when a Muslim gunman shot dead four customers at a kosher grocery? No. These Jews were all murdered because the Jews are described in the Qur’an as the “strongest in enmity to the Muslims,” and Muslims have been taught that Jews likely poisoned Muhammad. Muslim antisemitism predates by 1350 years the existence of the modern state of Israel.
Following the October 7 massacre, France once again chose the wrong side of history. Instead of offering unwavering solidarity with a democratic nation facing the deadliest attack in its modern history, Macron called for an “immediate ceasefire,” without mentioning the hostages, the atrocities of Hamas, or the global context of radical Islam.
Macron was determined, very early on, to stop the IDF from continuing to batter Hamas. He saw no objection, apparently, to the terror group continuing to rule over Gaza. He said nothing about the hostages or about the atrocities committed by Hamas on October 7. Nor did he mention anything about the menace from the growth of jihadism, of which Hamas is only a bit player, around the world, and even inside France itself.
France maintains open channels of communication with Hamas representatives and frequently serves as a mediator between Qatar, Iran, and Islamic Jihad. After Macron recently announced his intention to recognize a Palestinian state, Israeli journalist Omri Maniv reported on Channel 12 that five years ago, Macron personally approved a secret relationship between French intelligence and senior Hamas officials.

Non-stop Migrants Entering UK:

More than 25,000 migrants have crossed the English Channel so far in 2025, the first time that number has been reached in July, according to official figures.
The Home Office said 898 people were brought ashore in Dover on Wednesday, bringing the annual total so far to 25,436.
Since the government started releasing the numbers of arrivals in 2018, the earliest the annual total reached 25,000 was on 27 August in 2022.
The government said it was sharing intelligence and strengthening cross-border co-operation with France to tackle people smuggling gangs, and on Thursday the National Crime Agency announced it had worked with Bulgarian authorities to seize 25 small boats intended for use in the Channel.
In the whole of 2020 there were 8,461 crossings, and in 2019 that number was 1,835.
In 2018 there were 297 people recorded making the journey, although figures were only published from 3 November.
The dates on which 25,000 people made the crossing in previous years are:
· 2021 - 20 November
· 2022 - 27 August
· 2023 - 2 October
· 2024 - 4 October
The annual total for 2025 hit 10,000 at the end of April, and 20,000 by the end of June.
Also in June the government released figures highlighting the increased number of days with favourable weather for making the journey in 2024 and 2025.

The Supreme Court was immediately notified and way back on 11 Nov. 2020 charges of a massive Voter Fraud by the Biden Camp, along with evidence verified by a government Quantum Computer of a 80%+ Trump vote win, were filed.
Obama, Biden and Haspel were suspected of colluding with foreign powers including the Chinese Communist Party, plus promoting the use of Election Fraud, to put the socialist leaning and compromised Biden/Harris ticket in power, overtake the US government and establish a New World Order.
Obama’s complaint alleged that the former US President compromised US security by conspiring with a business partner and former CIA agent to give US government classified information to high up Chinese intelligence officials in the People’s Republic of China (PRC).
Biden was under house arrest for compromising US security by conspiring with a foreign power to interfere with a US Election. Sun. 27 Dec. 2020 was not a good day for Joe Biden. The former Vice President was charged with money laundering billions stolen from the Ukraine, appeared connected to the Christmas morning Nashville explosion that destroyed Election Fraud evidence and was named in a just-released 270-page document by Attorney Sidney Powell that showed a Biden/ Harris link to foreign interference in extensive US Election Fraud cases against the Communist Parties of China, Venezuela, Iran and Russia.
The Christmas morning Nashville explosion targeted AT&T which was awarded a contract for an audit of the Dominion Voting Machines believed to have switched Trump votes to Biden. The Tenn. incident appeared connected to destruction of a printing press that produced water marked ballots for the 2020 Election said to have proven that Trump won the election by an 81% vote.
None of which, of course, was mentioned in the Mainstream Media that still claimed Joe Biden was President Elect.
